[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Credit card

Issue still pending from last 2 years...

This is regarding my credit card no. 4477 xxxx xxxx 2007 bank icici new delhi, my credit card limit was rs. 20000/- and bank sent me a statement of rs. 34000/-they have charged me over my bill limit and as per cibil i have to pay only rs. 2500/- . For the recovery of excess payment they called me many time even thought i am ready to pay the amount as per cibil, but they threaten me to pay the excess amount, i am mentally harassed by them, bank people call me more than 10 time every day.

I want to settel the due payment as per the cibil only.

ICICI Bank — ICICI BANK's FRAUD

My name is Anil Kumar Ahirwar, I have a saving account with ICICI bank Satara road Branch pune.

I have made a transaction of 5000 to my account from IDBI bank ATM located at symphony services baner Pune on 30th Sep. 2008, I got the message in the ATM machine that We are unable to connect your banks network but the same amount of 5000 had been deducted from my account. I have logged many complaints against this faulty transaction to the bank. Few are listed below:

These all complaints with an application I have also given to the satara road branch manager on 25th Dec. 2008 where my account[protected] is maintained).
I have not yet got any response from the bank on the same and when I called to customer care today (29th Jan 09) then told me that your request has been closed by the investigating personal saying that we can't reverse your amount of 5000. I want to know that what bank is doing in such kind of cases is there any process to be followed by the bank/banks, is there any time limit for any service request? Would I be getting the money back from the bank or bank will eat my money illegally?

Sub: REVERSAL OF YOUR WRONG CHARGES DEBITED TO MY CARD A/C FOR RS.2009.87 only.
Pl.refer my various complaints made by me through letters, phone calls to customer care services and by plenty of e-mails in which requested to you for reversal of wrong debit of your chargesnow accumulated to Rs.2009.87.I have already clarified that these charges were debited and going on debit every month without any fault of mine.Since I am making all my payments every month well in time and also the full amount of my usages, i.e., no delayed payments from the beginning and also no part payments except your wrong charges debited to my card a/c.You are not settling this old pending matter and going on adding every month your baseless charges to my a/c which I am not at all going to pay as I have not at fault. If still you fell that there is delayed in paymnent from my side or any part payment made by me, pl. inform me the exact date on which it is happened. I every time asked to furnish me the details against which you have debited your charges but no information from your side since there is no fault at all. For your information that various time your customer care services officers have verified the facts and confirmed me due to some technical error these charges was debited and going to reversed in next month statement but not yet materialised. I once again request you to pl. look into this matter very seriously and reverse the entire wrong debit amount of Rs.2009.87 immediately under information to me.

I have an ICICI credit card as per the number indicated above.I have made a payment which has to be paid in 6 instalments @Rs 11334.29 per month.I am regularly paying the money .For January09 also I paid the amount through cheque and I have checked my account in Axis Bank and I have seen that the amount has been debited to my account(on 5-1-09).I am getting regular calls from the call centres saying that I have not paid.Infact it has become a big nuisance to attend a dozen calls from call centres every day explaining them the position and this has been going for about three weeks.If needed I can obtain a statement from Axis Bank to prove that I have paid and sent to the offic you suggest .I have also paid my EMI for month of february in advance.Your bank has sent a notice to me charging fee for delayed payment and taking the amount paid for January as not being paid.I would like get your advice as to whom I should lodge a complaint in the ICICI Bank system about recalcitrant attitude of the concerned officers in credit card section.I would also like to mention that I do not want further calls on this topic

ICICI Creadit Card Department — Unnecessarily delaying the settlement process so that customer has to pay more (Service Reference SR93484330)

As per the discussion with the collection department of icici bank I have paid all my dues .after that also they are putting fine and late payment fees. whatever may be the reason it's due to commission or something else if the collection department people are cheating the customers of the bank it's the responsibility of the bank to take action for that. those agents are working on behalf of ICICI bank only .
I have already given all the details like agency name, bill details...there is no positive response till now.

after that when I am asking for settlement they are providing one no 66302521 of Preeti smita

in that no i have been trying since last 5 days no body responding the call..due to which Unnecessary delay is happening. for which again they will put fine and all the charges..

including fine and late fee charges it was 5000.00 after the delay it's now nearly 7000.00.still they are not responding which will cause the delay and again customer have to pay for the careless approach of the ICICI bank .

ICICI Bank — deficit in the amount withdrawn from the ATM‏

This is in regards with the deficit amount withdrawn from the ATM at Andheri Shopper Stop.

I had withdrawn Rs 1500/- on the 16th of Dec and received only Rs 600/- instead of 1500/-

I waited at the ATM for 5mins but didn’t receive any cash hence submitted a written complain at the Andheri Shopper Stop branch as well as with the customer care.

The request number from the customer care is SR89737310. I did receive a response from the customer care saying that they are unable to reverse the transaction as it has already paid which is not the case.

Even after submitting the written application I get a response on the 6th of Jan 09 that it is not possible to reverse the transaction (that too when I visit the branch personally). I believe the TAT is 24hrs and not 22 days.

I also met the Branch Manager of Andheri Shopper stop asking her to intervene. I requested her to show the CCTV recording but she bluntly denied saying how is it going to help me even if I see the video. She also told me that it’s a technology problem and we cant reverse the transaction.

Till date i have been following up but there has been no response from the bank. they have to say that the money is already paid to me which is incorrect.

ICICI Big Bazar Credit Card — Cancellation of the card

It is unfortunate and ridiculous to see that ICICI Bank is taking money in the name of processing fee even if the cheque is deposited one day before or even the same day as mentioned in the due date of the bills. No other bank is doing so. Once the cheque is deposited on or before due date then no penalty should be charged against the customer at least on ethical ground.

I would be very happy if the concerned person cancels my card, otherwise I fear that I may need to give penalty again.

Please note that I am not using this card for last two months and will not use anymore.

ICICI Bank — ACCOUNT CLOSING

THE BANK SIMPLY REFUSES TO ACCEPT THE ACCOUNT CLOSING PAPERS. AND HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY SENDING STATEMENTS FOR NON MAINTIAENCE OF MINIMUM BALANCE. WHAT TO DO?

ICICI Bank / Yash Enterprises / Om Enterprises — Brand new 3 month old Kinetic Flyte sold for Rs.10000/- without intimation and yet Outstanding raised for Rs. 31000/-

Dear Forum Member,

I am writing this letter with a request of plea to address my concern. I had purchased a Kinetic Sym Flyte in the month of May 2008 from Om Enterprises with a down payment of Rs. 10000/- who financed the byk through ICICI Two wheeler loan through a another middle party called Roshan Finance. On 15th August 2008 the byk fell down due to a rickshaw dash and broke the front lamp with few scratches. The same was given to Om Enterprises for repair with a copy of NC details from local police station, my brother's driving license and insurance copy. I was told not to claim insurance for such a minor expense, it rather get a no insurance cost which is higher. I did not wish to spend money so I asked for the claim.

I did not hear from Om Enterprises on the repair of my byk. On calling I was told the replacement of the head light will take time as the part was taking time from Kinetic's end. Later I was told that Insurance is taking time, further I was told that Kinetic is taken over by Mahindra and parts were not available... this went on till Nov'08 . Tired and frustrated with such furious comments, I meanwhile stopped the EMI's and requested the ICICI personnel to voluntary surrender of byk as the entire fiasco was looking a bit fraudulent. I was not sure if I get my byk with original parts or if they were tampered with. On 29th Nov' 08 I handed over my new Kinetic Sym Flyte to representatives of Yash Enterprises after bringing the same to my residence on the same day on speaking to ICICI representative Mr. Manish from Collections dept. ([protected]) who so plainly blamed Om Enterprises then.I had also expressed a choice of a second owner for my byk.

I write this mail to you as I did not hear from ICICI Bank untill today when I called up Mr. Manish to check how come without intimation did they sold my byk for Rs.10000/-. I received a letter dropped at my residence by Indian Post on 4th Feb 09 (I check my letters every saturday / sunday as I have long working hours on weekdays) stating that due to the defaults of non payment ICICI have sold the asset for Rs. 10, 000/- and outstanding worth Rs. 31183/- to be borne by me. The letter states ICICI will present cheques given by me (PDC) to my Bank - Saving A/c and I should ensure that the same does not bounce or else I shall be charged with criminal legal actions for breach of trust and a suit will be filed to recover the ammount.
On calling ICICI representatives I am treated the similar way I was treated the time of my byk repair... pushed from one person to another and one dept. to another... What calculations have they drawn to reevaluate the asset and why no intimation of auction given to me ... no one answers... replies are I am not from this dept. please go to this branch and that counter.

I almost have paid Rs. 16000/- to the Bank and on travel expenses which is a loss... I have no clue when and on what basis was my brand new byk being sold for Rs.10000/- and no document collected from me on surrender stated that I will have to pay the difference... I was not informed about the sale...The clause states that ICICI reserves right to either sell, rent or otherwise deal with the asset to recover cost.. difference to be borne by me is not stated.
I need help as I feel cheated in this entire scenario. I use my byk for 3 months, pay 16000/-, run around for 5-6 months, answer representatives, on surrender I am asked to pay Rs. 31183/- because someone choose to sell my byk for 10000/- with no clue or communication to me ..I am amazed that this can be the evaluation drawn for a 536 kms run byk... what's the proof of evaluation no one talks about it...

Kindly intervene and help me understand what steps do I take to close this fiasco. I am sick and tired of running around finding answers.

On 09.02.09 I open icici website to check my balance online, I was shocked that -49, 417.85 is reflecting over there. I send a mail to The account manager of Icici bank asking to give the status of this, and I got a reply on 10.02.09 that As per our records, your account has been marked with lien of Rs. 49, 417.85 towards the credit card.

Hence your account is in debit balance.

ICICI Credit Card No 5176377044361003 — harasment by bank even after full payment of Rs 19300 of may 2008 bill after which no transation was made on this card

The total due on this credit card for the month of May 2008 was Rs19500- we have droped a cheque for Rs 19500/- but bank has called on us over phone and informed that they have not received the said cheque and instrected to drop another cheque. Hence cheque no 643634 for Rs19300 was issued by me
which was en cashed by icici bank on24/6/2008 hence there is nothing due to the bank from ourside But bank going on charging every month huge ammount as overlimit charge, interest, taxesctc on the bill.The matter was brought to the notice of the bank through e mail to customer care of icici bank and the bank official who call us over phone.We have given the proof of with the amount with drawn by bank to the collection agentalso the bank state ment of CITI Bank stetment showing the amount of Rs 19300/- on 24/6/2008 was E mailed to customer care of ICICI Bank. I would like state that the amount of Rs19300/-withdrawn by ICICIbank is with them till this date .ie 9/2/2009. Hence I request the bank not to harass a customer who has paid all the dues by impossing heavy penality of Rs27281 .And serving a leagel notice by your legal advacat FX&co, we claime dammage for our reputation
My name is Manoj .I have 2 ICICI Bank Credit Cards. Due to financial problems i was not able to pay the total outstanding. Some one from the recovery department called me and were ready to do a settlement. The name of the agency is Vaishnavi Associates. The recovery guys name is Ritesh. He told me they will give me a settlement letter after i have paid Rs 40, 000 for both the cards. They kept collecting the amount from me. One day I got a call from another agency and they asked me for the payment. I told them I was dealing with Ritesh from Vaishnavi Associates. The agency guys informed me I was cheated as the amount taken from me was not towards settlement. They told me get the settlement letter first and then pay the remaining amount. I decided to do the same. I paid Rs 28, 000 and asked those guys that i will only give the remaining amount when i get the settlement letter. The guys started fighting with me his name is Amol and told me I will have to pay the amount first. Then a new guy becomes the mediator Mr Ibrahim and promises me that as soon as i pay the amount i will get the letter. I paid the remaining amount. As soon as the cheque was cleared i called the Mr Ibrahim back. He told me that Amol has the letter and he was suppose to send a boy to deliver it to me. I called Amol and he told me he has destroyed the settlement letter because i had a fight with him. I spoke to Mr Ibrahim and he assured me he will get the letter for me. Now when i call Mr Ibrahim or Amol they don't answer my call. Now new recovery guys have started coming. I am getting legal notices from the bank. I have the payments slips of Rs 40, 000 were given to me. I don’t understand why does ICICI Bank hire such guys. I am not a cheat. I have always paid my dues on time. I have paid more then my credit limit. I have paid the amount which was told to me by the recovery agency. Is this a way to fool a customer. Please help me.

ICICI Bank — AFTER TAKING THE MONEY ALSO THEY HAVE NOT DONE THE SETTLEMENT

I want to request to the ICICI bank that after taking the money from my saving acount they have not issued any setelment letter to me .I went to bank and did my setelment on- 12/9/2008 .
Setelment done by the person Sandeep he works in rohini branch he told me that i will recive my setelment letter in 2 days and today is -10/02/2009 till know i have not recieve the letter, is ther anybody who can help me out because now they are sending me the bill of Rs-11882 again after doing the setelment. My Saving account no[protected] and my Credit card no -[protected] . Is there anybody who can help me out.
