[Resolved]  Jeevan Sahara — Insurance not yet received.

Hi,

Yesterday i have received a call from Jeevan Sahara United India Insurance, they explained me about the family mediclaim policy.

For futher more details i have asked for there web site, on which they asked me to visit jeevansahara.in. surprisingly i couldn't found any.

could any body please update more about this product or the company ?

my grand father takes a policy of sahara 10 from barhaj branch under Deoria distict UP
and my father is in the Indian Army who is nominee on 23-11-08 my grand father expired then my claims for death maturity at concerned branch but branch manager sri Pandey is not intrested in the payment and he is delaying in the payment without any solid refusal . due to limited leave from army my father is not being able to meet the concerned branch to know the progress.
alot of reminders are being given to them but not payment made by him
so, please instruct him to arrange for the payment and i[censored] dont reply we are very sorry to say that we have going to court for justice with penal intrest for delay in payment.

Same thing has happend with me...even i was being told about d website & also their tieup with UNITED INDIA INSURANCE...which doesnt seem to be true...this company is fake...so please be aware...

I would like to state that after receiving clarification i am convinced that Jeevan sahara exist & also has presense on web...so i take my comments back. it was completely out of lack of proper info from the company...i tried & search evry possible way to locate the company on web but couldnt find it. so the mistake from the part of the company is they did not provided any brochure so that one can go through the same. Nothing else.& company is not FAKE.
I hope this satisfies the company official & i dont expect any further communication frm the company regarding the same matter.

I have taken a mediclaim policy from Jeevan Sahara – United India Insurance on more than a month ago and till now I have not received any intimation from the company on the activation. The cheque of Rs.9828 has got cleared from my account on 27th January. I have got the call from Kalyan (Tel. no. [protected]) from a lady called Puja. Yesterday when I had a doubt and started calling up the number - the number turned out to be switched off. Now I really doubt that such mediclaim policy really exist and the entire thing is fake and misleading. I really don’t know now whom to approach for such grievance. Please advice.

Jeevan Sahara — Non receipt of policy papers

Jeevan Sahara people have send the person to collect documents for mom, dad and myself. They said you can make payment credit card. I have given documents and made the payment throught credit card in somewhere in feb. After calling me they said the policy is not given to you and payment made by you will be not charged. In month of april when i saw my statement i has received debit for the same amount of Rs 9508.08.

Yes it is totally arbitary attitude o[censored]nited India Insurance as they are not reneweing the helath policy issued to jeevan sahara. Due to this senior citizen are in a very dicy situation as nobody will cover them at this age especially if any diseases has accrued during the priod of policy.

At least on humanitarian ground and considering the purpose of health policy the policy should be renewed atleast for senior citizens with all the benefits of continual.

I had taken Mediclaim Policy in year 2006 which is family floater for 150, 000/- sum assured from Jeevan Sahara (I) Venture which has tie up with United India Insurance.

Below were age at time of inception of policy.
Father Age 65
Mother Age 55
Myself Age 26

I have paid 18k, 19k, 21k, 22k as yearly premium starting 2006 and claimed only 25k for my father's eye operation in 2009.

Now when I gone to pay premium for 2010 in Sep 2010 to my surprise Jeevan Sahara told that they have closed this scheme as per guideline of government and there is no medical coverage given as policy no longer exist.United India insurance is also not taking responsibility for renewing policy.

I feel cheated and helpless as I took this policy with consideration that it has tie up with well known United India insurance company.

Please let me know if I have any medium where I can lodge complaint and claim All money OR get policy renewed with same terms and condition.
