[Resolved]  ORION APPLIANCES, POWER H20 — Complain regarding your Power H2O machine and service policies

With respect to the following complain via email dated 23rd January 2009

I Mina Dinesh Lodaya purchased a Power H2O machine in 2004 and since the date of purchase, you have had a great track record of irregular services. I would bring to your notice the service record for the recent contract I have had with you.

The service dates were as follows
23/03/2008 : First Mandatory Service
14/10/2008 : Third Mandatory Service
There was no second service provided and even we mentioned it on your service card that the second service has not been provided and you need to extend our contract to provide the lapsed service.
It doesn’t get over here itself. The servicing staff you sent is totally unaware about the technicalities of your machine. They don’t know whether virus is larger or a Bacteria. One such servicemen came here and told me that the machine can remove the Virus but not bacteria. How are we to risk our lives at the hands of such people who are not aware of the basics too ??
Over and above this in the service dated 14/10/2008, the so called technician you sent has broken the pump and the machine is leaking since then about which also after informing your office at Baroda, they claim that it was not because of their fault but it was our fault or regular were and tear.
Also there is algae formation into the tank. And as per my knowledge, this happens if and only if atleast one bacteria of Algae enters the tank. But as you claim, your machine even filters out the Viruses, how come the bacteria get into the storage tank and then multiply. A satisfactory answer to this question is pending since 2 years from your technician and he told just to protect the tank from direct sunlight.
After suffering all this and having paid thousands of rupees for getting water that is not harmful to health I am not getting what you claim in your advertisements.
So if this matter is not solved within 15 days I would be forced to go to the customer court.
So kindly do the needful.

after the above complain i sent them a registered letter on 9th March 2009 with the following addtions.

Since the time I mailed you, you have been really active in replying to the complain and also had a long telephonic talk with me regarding the same. But actually there was no action taken even 45 days after my complain.

You informed me that if I had any grievances I should feel free to contact your Ahmedabad office but the staff there informed me that once the matter is with the MD, nobody else shall respond to my problems. Inspite of calling up your office every alternate day, I have not received any solution from your side except verbal commitments. I have left my contact number at your desk atleast 10 times but Power H20 or Orion Appliances is the same whether its Baroda or Ahmedabad.

I would be forced to go to the CONSUMER COURT if the matter is not solved by 25th March 2009.

But even after 3 complains through mail, more than 100 phone calls Orion Appliances has failed to respond to my complain even 2 months after i registered a complain at ahmedabad office

Respected Sir,

Kindly complaint regarding Orion Mobile Model No 901DS. Battery problem, screen
problem and i complaint Orion mobile service center Ludhiana but no solution. Several
time calling & visited this office but not responding. My phones in warranty .
kindly do the needful.
