Papa Johns Pizza — Mishandling a Customer

I called up at Papa Johns Pizza, Gurgaon Branch on 16th Jan 2008 at 6:25 pm for a home delivery. I checked on a offer which is running currently- "Order a Medium Pizza and get Garlic Cheesestick + Pepsi for Rs 40 only". I wanted to order Garlic Breadstick instead of Cheesestick since the price for both the items was same i.e Rs 65. Since there was no difference in the price, not even a single penny I expected that my request will be honored. But I got a pat reply on my face that the same cannot be accommodated. I was extremely surprised with that response in an age when Customer is considered a King. Mind you I was not expecting any accommodation which was not possible since there was NO difference in the price.

I was quite disappointed with the way I was treated and decided not to order. I informed the guy at the phone desk that I prefer not to order if my request doesn't get considered and the person said that's ok.

I want to tell Papa Johns that they have just lost a customer. And expect that someone would call me to apologise for the disrespect.

I visit Ahmedabad since last 10 years but have never had any pizzas ever at Ahmedabad. My cousins took me to Papa Johns and I was so much facsinated, that the two days I stayed at Ahmedabad I just had the pizzas and cheesy sticks. The service was excellent and now whenever I visit Ahmedabad I will alwys visit Papa Johns and will suggest everyone to have a pizza once at Papa Johns at Ahmedabad.

Boy could barley speak English and covered in ms 13 looking tattoos. What in the world are you thinking even hiring someone covered with that crap. When a person orders food he is literally trusting his and his families lives to these people. The last thing they need to do is hire people who do not have enough respect for themselves as to jab needles in there arms to try to look tuff. Can you say aids infected food worker. Can i get a coupon for a hepatitis pie?

I am a resident of Baroda and like all others i am too fedup with Papa jones as well. I had called for a homdelivery on 3/5/2010 at about 8pm and was told that the stuff would be delivered within 30 mins. I waited for an hour and then called them again only to know that the delivery man should be reaching in the next 10 mins. I told the manager that its already been more than an hour and if the delivery man does not turn in the next mins i shall cancel the order and the delivery boy will have to take the stuff back. The delivery boy turnedup after 25 mins and i asked him to take the stuff back and was shocked to hear what the man had to say. as he was climbing down the stairs he absued me and i was so shocked and i went absoutely mad at him, i called the delivery boy and asked him why he is abusing and the reason he told me was that i did not give him the CORRECT address on the phone while placing the order. Can you imagine i have been staying my house for 35 years now and I DID NOT GIVE THE CORRECT ADDRESS. The delivery man instead of aplogising started arguing and abusing. SUCH IS A STATUS OF PAPA JONES.

Papa jones, if you are reading this, please teach some manners to your boys. You are not the only one who makes pizza's under the sky.
