[Resolved]  RT 41 — New Fridge not working

We have bought a RT 41 Samsung Refrigerator on Dec 23rd 2007. The new piece didnt function properly right from day one. We had to fight to replace the new piece. After this replacement, we had to be out of station for nearly 4 to 5 months. After coming back, we find that again we have the same problem in this piece as the one that has been replaced. i.e the bottom of the 2 door fridge doesnt get chilled. There is no air throw. The customer support personnel has suggested to keep the top temperature as maximum and the bottom as normal and we find that ice is formed in the top portion and items kept in the bottom portion are spoilt. We doubt if this RT 41 model itself is a failure model as we have found that both the pieces have the same problem. We have all samsung products and have always wanted to go in for samsung products. Now we doubt if our choice of going in for a samsung higher end regrigerator was not right.

We too had a problem with same model of fridge. It was replaced by a new piece after persistent follow up. The new piece shows the same defect as the old one. In our case the inside plastic panels buckle up after few months of running the fridge. The first piece was replaced during warranty period. We wonder if the second will be replaced as warranty is over. Basically the model RT41 is defective and it is known to them. When we complained this month one of the persons from Samsung's local office suggested we should opt for different model as this model fails frequently and has many types of defects.

RT 41 — Delivered Non working Fridge at House

Dear Sir,

I bought RT 41 refregerator from M/s Meharsons Electronics Pvt Ltd Chandigarh dated 6/03/10 vide bill no. 3561. The Model no. of Samsung Rferegerator is RT41MCSM S. no. 800148. They supplied a defective refregerator at home. Next we given the complaint to dealer, he further lodged the compaint to samsung and I got the massage about the complaint registration AND NO. GIVEN TO ME WAS [protected].
Engineer from Samsung visited us on 8th but he could not able to solve the problem. Mr. Satbir from Meharson promoised to replace the Refregerator on 9th. On 10th He refused saying that i donot commited. Today after fighting with Satbir and sukhwinder i reached at Samsung service center, Mr. Pawan told that He is helpless and his boss is on tour. At last in the Today in theEveningi got one stand by refregerator which is not working.

They Told it will take 10-20 days to deliver the replacement,
