[Resolved] Society Car parking issue — Car parking rules and code of conduct
I am a resident of co-op. housing society in Mumbai. The Society has stilt parking, which has been alloted by the Builder/Developer at the time of purchase.
Now many of the members are either renting out the car parking and charging parking rent. SOME OF THE MEMBERS WHO HAE ALREADY BEEN ALLOTED STILT CAR PARKING ARE AGAIN TRYING TO GRAB MORE STILT PARKING ON RENTAL BASIS AND THEREBY TRYING TO CONTROL MAJORITY OF THE CAR PARKING AREAS, WITHOUT CONCERN FOR OTHER MEMBERS WHO DO DO OWN A CAR PARKING. THESE NON-OWNERS OF CAR PARKING ARE THEREFORE FORCED TO PARK THEIR CARS OUT OF THE SOCIETY ON THE PRETEXT OF NO-PARKING SPACE. INCIDENTLLY, SOME OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE HAVING NEXUS WITH THE STILT OWNERS IN CORNERING THE PARKING AREAS. Is the Committee or the Society right in this activity.
So what does the rule say - Can a Stilt Car Park Owner occupy more than One Car Parking?
Some Members are parking 2 cars in 1 Parking lot because of extended space (the cars protude out of the parking areas). Can a Stilt Car Park Owner park more than One Car in the Parking Lot?
Whether Maintenance charges are liable to be paid by Stilt Parking from Parking Owners?
In case of Building Maintenance, who is liable to pay for the painting and other repair charges of the Stilt Car Parking Area?
