[Resolved] tirumala city welfare association — No water connection, pipeline
We the residents of Tirumala city, Venkatapuram, Alwal of nearly 50 residential independent houses, staying since over 2 years, some of them even more than 4 years have a major crisis of drinking water pipeline. We are prompt property tax payers as well. We all have applied for a municipal water individual connection paying a DD of Rs. 500/- with the municipal authorities during the month of January this year. We have taken the issue to the notice of the North Zonal commissioners office as well, complained to him that the drainage stagnation has polluted the borewell water and as such atleast 7 houses have absolutely stinging polluted borewell water. The authorities did help us in settling the drainage issue, and provided us with a water tanker once a week, which does not suit to our daily needs. We were informed that the sanction for the water supply main pipeline has been done in the month of July, 2008. But as of now there is no action taken in implementing the work. We are all from the corporate offices working late during the nights and facing this crisis of drinking water. The government does promise of daily drinking water and other promises but when we approach the authorities they say the sanction is done, but it will take atleast 3 more months for reality to happen. I request the concerned authorities to take immediate action, to ensure that the sanctioned bill is sent in to get us all the supply of drinking water as soon as possible.
