Dear Sir,

SUB: REFUND OF REGULAR INTEREST & PENALTY
REF : HIG PLOT NO : 223 ( A/c No; [protected] )

I applied for HIG Plot No: 223 on 04.07.08. The relative allotment advice Dt. 03.10.08 was served on me on 04.10.08 through Courier. I paid entire allotment money demand of Rs.283000/- + interest and penalty( Rs.12735/- + 225) Rs. 295960/- on 06.10.08. While settling the total amount on 04.10.08 I was astonished to find the demand for interest and penalty. When I am paying the total amount by next available working day where is the default and penalty ?. It seems that injustice has been done to me. There is no natural justice to levy this penalty. I therefore appeal to you to refund the excess amount paid. It is not fair due to

 I never defaulted when demand is served on me
 When I was not intimated earlier, how it is fair to levy such interest and penalty.
 It is against natural justice. It is like delivering capital punishment without due process of finding justice.

I hope you as a fair person will look into the issue and refund the excess of Rs.12735 + 225/-, failing which I am driven to approach appropriate redressal forum to seek justice which will be unpleasant to you and to the Organisation.

I also request you to advise me the probable month / year in which I can get my documents.
