The SSP, Agra.
Subject: FIR against New Ashok Paint Mart, Agra for the violation of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
Kindly refer to the recovery of 156 Mongoose hairs paint brushes from the New Ashok Paint Mart, 85, Bye Pass Road, Opp. Hira Talkies, Agra against purchase bill No. 6 / 1097 and payment made by the officials of the District Wildlife Department on April 30, 2012 on the complaint of Naresh Kadyan, Representative of the UN affiliated International Organisation for Animal Protection - OIPA chapter in India.
Where as all the proprietors of the New Ashok Paint Mart never declared mongoose trophies and articles before the concerned authorities as per the Central Government Notification, 2003 and they are not authorized to trade Mongoose hair paint brushes because Mongoose is protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 as per scheduled 2 part 2, which is an cognizable offense and proof of burden on accuser's side instead of prosecution.
Hence you are humbly requested to direct concerned CO / SHO, New Agra Police Station to lodge FIR against all offenders including proprietors of Bansal Brush Company, Shahganj for the violation of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 section 9, 39, 51, 63 read with IPC 120-B.
