We purchased 30N package with upfront fees from Hotel, they have not given single Night rather they blocked our account also. It has been almost 5 years.

Request Govt to block such companies and take out the money back which they looted from public like us

    We, Monika Yadav and Rajeev Kumar (Residents of Gheesa ki Dhani, Delhi Road, Rewari) are members of Country Holidays Inn and Suites Pvt. Ltd. Our membership number is CHISRW772086 for 30 years with 6 nights and 7 days per annum. We purchased the membership on 9 July, 2017. Our holiday entitlement is valid upto 8 July, 2047 with total purchase price of ₹3, 95, 000/- . After our complaint on this platform on 15 May, 2023; the representative of Country Holiday Inn had a telephonic conversation with us in order to force us for withdrawal of this complaint. When we denied to do so, after 15 days, they agreed to do a booking for us for which we e-mailed them afresh. But till now dated 17 June, 2023; they haven't confirmed our bookings rather they forced and pressurised us telephonically to change our dates of travel and to accept a sub- standard hotel. In addition to this, we are entitled to avail 36 nights and 42 days in total but we have availed only 4 nights.
    # That from 2018 to 2023, whenever we tried to have a booking with Country Holiday Inn, they denied for the same by showing unavailability of hotels.
    # So, it is requested to you to take strict actions against Country Holiday Inn for such mental and economic harassment to our family. It is also requested to be ordered to return the full payment with interest @24% pa

      Biggest mistake of my life was to give my Maldives Plan to Country Holidays. For everything from ticket to accommodation, they were very particular about payment. And we honoured every time and Rs 2.60, 000/ in advance was paid about six months back. They gave us the hotel voucher, which was fake as the Male Resort said it is already expired. They gave us fresh dates but same result, neither they could give the tickets nor confirmation of hotel. After this instead of showing regret, they are not refunding the advance of Rs 2 Lacs, sixty thousand. Yes, correct 2 lacs sixty thousand. Twice the bags were packed but had to unpack. No one picks the phone and a casual reply is given on email.
      We took membership in 2022 by paying Rs 1, 50, 000. None of the vouchers could be utilised as they have no hotels to offer. The listed hotels on their website are not available. The hotel confirmation was given for one night in Gurgaon and when we went for check in, it was not valid.
      For the tickets twice I tried and confirmed the quote given by them. The ticket is not issued even till one week with no response from them and then price went up and they ask for higher price for their mistake.
      Simply fail to understand a company can do such things in today’s atmosphere.
      I need my money of both advance paid and membership charges.

        I took CHIS membership in 2021 for 5 years and paid 90k with 8k AMC amount. It’s been about to complete 2 years and we have availed services only twice. I am trying to get booking since November 2022 but they are not providing us any booking. Multiple times I have sent email regarding reservation but only reply we received stating property is not active with them or not available at this time. Then why they took money from us if they...

        Company executives requested to mark the complaint as resolved and promised to resolve all further queries on a priority basis. So I closed the complaint however since then they are again not responding at all, so i am opening the case again.

        I also purchased a 30yr domestic/international plan from CHIS in Feb'2022, Membership Id: CHISDL780794. Since starting faced issues with booking and wanted to cancel my membership but they refuse to cancel and do not respond to emails for any booking requests. I want them to cancel my membership and provide a refund.

        Can we take legal action against CHIS for harassment/cheating and demand a full refund?

          Their complaints resolution is high because they blackmail you of not providing any service ever if you dont mark the complaint as resolved here.

          They are cheats and frauds. No service is provided when you request for a reservation. None of the hotels are ever active for CHIS. They send out blanket replies like "area is not active" whenever you request for any reservations.

            I have already cancelled my membership within 10 days of cooling period and same the confirmation sent by them that they have received the cancellation letter through speed post and will get refund within 120 days, still it has been 150 days no response from them, i kept following up mail since 90 days happened but they have not refunded my money . these are fraqud company, who fool people . please help me to get the money back.

              There sales team generated loan in my account ask me debit card to check eligibility and directly generate loan for membership . i refused and given application same day for cancelled but no act and started emi deduction am following up with them since last 5 month for refund after posting on social media they strted responding and ask me to take back all complaints and gave me 15 k refund out of 61k but agin for rest strted giving same excuses as give in past month. they are trained scamner awaiting for my full refund my 2 emi bounced from bank and charging me penalty for no gst invoice and confirmetion provided me for membership yet. still paying emi.

                There sale team generate loan in my account without confirmetion processed cancelletion same day but started to deduct emi in my account after many follwup and peesonal harrashment they gave me back 15k refund against 61 k and for rest amount comitted to gv back in 2 -3 days by mr mukesh but agains stared giving same excuses given past months. they just try to lapse time and make ur case week so they dont need to pay rest amount. allready complaint onemore time doing due they ask me to reaolved old complaint on there word i marked as resolved but its big scam company not giving GST invoices to people 54 ppl with us they having same issue.

                  My family havr been invited to the CHIS meeting where they made false promises and asked us to do the payment to avail of the services.
                  As we found the services would be helpful for us for making future plans we took membership in 2019 and paid the agreed amount, I have attached the screenshot too as a part of my complain.

                  Issue:
                  1. Found all promises were fake and on paper, it’s different than verbal communication.
                  2. Even as per paper documentation we are unable to avail of any services.
                  3. We need re-fund but they not talking.
                  4. After each complaint Relationship Manager or concerned person changes and we reach to no conclusion.
                  5. We have been promised that services will be a smooth go, which is not the case.

                  6. I had also visited Noida office for refunding my money, but they told that from now you will get booking and all services instantly, But nothing happened, I tried 2 times to book hotel but they didn't provide any booking.
                  I tried to move around many sites and found many many families have been trapped with the CHIS – Country Holidays Inn Suites offers and trying to get justice.

                  Requesting you please consider our plea and wherein we can help many others from these fraud companies.

                      I have enrolled for 5 year holiday plan with them in Nov 2020 and now I am trying to avail yearly plan for last 4 times but couldn't succeed as every time they don't have the property available.

                      Also the commitments they made are not fulfilled. I have requested for refund, but they are rude in behavior and refused.

                      what can be done in this case

                        I am the member of CHIS from last three years and have paid 3 lacs to chis as member ship charges and they promised to provide us hotel bookings all over india or abroad and i request them to book hotel as per my preference dates or hotels they never provide hotel and make execuses, this is happening from last 3 years and i am so fed up with them and want refund of my money and want to sue this fraud company

                          I have taken 10 year domestic/international holiday plan from CHIS in Jun-2022 with Member ship ID CHISBOLGZ1006706. I have been committed big things which are clearly mentioned in their Contract paper too on Stamp paper. When I have started contacting their customer service for last 2 months to avail the services, they are not providing any bookings citing various excuses like booking is not available in this hotel, provide your flexible dates and all. Even I have changed my dates 3-4 times, they are unable to provide me the booking.

                          At first instance, they confirmed that my booking is done and I will receive vouchers a day before my travel and after 6:30 pm, they called and denied that no booking is available. I have requested for alternate options too but no-one bothered to respond. Their MRD person Mr Rohit who promised the booking confirmation and used to call me for payments have stopped responding over Whatsapp and calls.

                          Customer care is pathetic. Against one Voucher, they promised 8 locations and now they are saying that we can provide booking only in “The Roar, Corbett”. When I requested for the same booking, it was denied citing unavailability. Now they gave another option and asking utility charges about which contract doesn’t have any point.

                          Its very clear to me that their intentions are very clear and they don’t want to give any bookings. They are continuously refusing reservation on the listed properties on their app and website and provide vague/ stupid reasons. Sales team makes false promises. Reservation team really bad and management don’t bother to listen to customer grievances
                          I want them to cancel my membership and provide refund.
                          I have almost given them Rs. 140000 /- +GST (including 1 AMC’s) for 10 yr domestic membership and not availed a single booking so far.
                          I would like to take legal action against CHIS for harassment/cheating and demand full refund.

                            After a lot of mails and calls, they give me booking for one night at Ashok Country Resort, Delhi. I got the voucher also. But now when I called Ashok Country Resort and ask confirmation regarding my booking, they denied. They are saying that no such booking is there with them.

                            Which means now CHIS providing fake vouchers to customers. Wow!!!

                              They are not providing holiday booking for any location. They dont have any location available.

                              They are fraud. They dont have any portal to see location availability.

                              No dates available. No calls picked . No mails reply for location and holiday booking.

                              They are completely cheater as they ask only money and dont provide any serviceß.

                                  I have taken membership for 5 year in 2019 by paying Rs98000. I also paid AMC for 3 years in April 2023. Now I am eligible to take 18 days holiday from them but the reality is, i am not getting a single day's booking from them.
                                  Initially I availed two of my complimentary holidays for which I have to wait 3-4 hours at hotel just to get check-in. Because CHIS never pays the hotel dues. After making lots and lots of calls to them somehow we managed to get access to the hotels.
                                  After that, we could not take any holiday from them as they never takes call, never replies on time. The numbers mentioned in their mail are never working.
                                  Moreover me and my husband were threatened by one of their executive MS. Neha, she said that yes we will only take money from you and no holiday will be provided to you. I have sent mail regarding this to customer care as well as direct to their office but no response.
                                  The company is fraud, looting money from people, makes falls promises and later threatens you .

                                    I am writing to request the immediate cancellation of my membership.When I signed up for this membership, I was promised that I could cancel it at any time without any hassle or penalty. However, this has not been my experience with your company.

                                    I was misled into signing up for this membership without being fully informed of the terms and conditions. I was not made aware that there would be any difficulty in canceling my membership if I chose to do so. This false promise of easy cancellation has caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience.

                                    Despite repeated attempts to cancel my membership over a long time, I have been met with nothing but excuses and delays from your customer service team. I have been told that my request is being processed, but no action has been taken to actually cancel my membership.

                                    Furthermore, when I asked for a booking, your representatives demanded that I remove the reviews I had written on Google for your company. This is an attempt to manipulate and coerce me into doing something that is against my will.This is highly unethical and unacceptable, and I refuse to comply with such a request. I strongly condemn such behavior

                                    I am now requesting that you cancel my membership immediately and refund any fees that have been charged to my account. I expect this to be done promptly and without any further delay or excuses.

                                    I would like to remind you that as a consumer, I have the right to be fully informed of the terms and conditions of any agreement that I enter into. Your company failed to provide me with this information, and as a result, I have been put in a difficult and stressful situation.

                                      I am doing this complaint second time. Because i marked my last complaint resolved because i was again promised by CHIS that i will get booking from the money i paid if i mark my complaint resolved. I feel consumer complaint does not do anything for the complainant it is only the company who connect with complainant if they see their complaint online to improve their image in front of other customers.
                                      This complaint of my is not yet resolved. Country holidays inn and suites manipulated me with their words of giving booking after i mark this resolve but they did harrassed me with all things they can.. and cheated me once again . This company is a fraud and only know how to loot money from people. This kind of companies are what is wrong with our country. This cheated company is still surviving and looting more people day by day. But our law and order is just seating and watching. Even this online consumer complaint is of no use. Unless and untill we approach court of law for justice, No online service can do anything. However i curse the people who are running this fraud CHIS company that they, their families, their employess can never get any kind of peace from the money they are earning by cheating people. They wont even get a death paecefully. I curse you CHIS.

                                      My complaint is against Country holidays inn and suites private limited. I have made the request for refund to them in march, 2021 also but again i was manipulated and promised that i will get all the bookings from future and so the refund could not be made. But since my first booking request till now i have really suffered a lot mentally. CHIS really harass people mentally deeply.

                                      I paid Rs. 80, 000 on 12th September, 2020 in delhi on the basis of the oral agreement done between CHIS by its sale team (Mr. Ajay rohilla and Mrs. Poonam) and me and my husband.
                                      CHIS Team asked me to tell the medium of payment and then they took my husband’s credit card to check whether it will work or not and offer it gives. Further they came with the machine and said please put your code to check the offer and whether it will work and then they said congratulations you are our member now.
                                      I was shocked at that time and raised a question how ? then again they manipulated us by saying they thought that we are ready for the membership and it is the best company in india and stuff. after that they came with the contract paper and some other pamphlets, vouchers. And asked me to sign the paper. however, when i started reading out the contract paper, the sale person did not let me read it and made me sign it by saying that sign it fast, we have other customers also to attend, you can read it when you will get its hardcopy with welcome kit, trust us you will thank us a lot for giving you this membership, etc.

                                      But till now i never received its any hardcopy with any kind of welcome kit.

                                      I feel cheated and humiliated by CHIS. The persons who sold me this mebership of 5 year, 6 night/7 day per year, does not take calls from my number even after 20-30 calls a day. And also every number that i was given in starting does not pick up any of my calls.
                                      Every time before any booking i have to go through all this harassment and humiliation.

                                      Now comes the struggling and harassment part with CHIS that i faced from starting. They are as follows -

                                      1. Hotstar premium membership of voucher - i called, messaged, mailed unlimited times to sale team, voucher team, toll free number to redeem it. And at last after struggling for 17 days i got Rs. 399 in my paytm wallet which was for hotstar VIP membership and not premium membership. However voucher says premium membership.

                                      2. ITC FORTUNE - Sale team has committed that i can utilise one night with breakfast, dinner, room decor, cake at any of the branch of ITC FORTUNE.
                                      But when i started looking for the booking it was not available for all branches but it was only available in Manesar branch. Further when i tried booking it in manesar it was never available and at last after 4-5 months i got the booking but not at ITC but at Radission blu without any room decor but i got the cake after calling and messaging several time to sale team.

                                      3. Rs. 5000 shopping voucher of my offers - i never got it but after again mailing, calling, messaging unlimited times to everyone i got a mail after struggling for 5-6 months which says that CHIS will minus Rs. 5000 from my next ASF.

                                      4. Breakfast - CHIS sale team committed that breakfast will be available with every booking but it was not available with any booking.

                                      5. My 1st booking from my 6night - i raised a request for kerala before one month but did not got it due inactive reason then i asked for goa booking as the sale team was ready to send me goa on the very next week of taking the membership in September. But in November, 2020 when i tried booking goa nights, they said it is inactive. Then i asked for jaisalmer booking but it was also inactive. And then finally i asked them what can you book and then i booked 3 nights in jim corbett in CHIS recommendation because no other location was active.
                                      This active and inactive reason has not stopped till now i have paid in advance for 5 years but CHIS is not able to give me the booking of my choice mentioned to me before membership even once. What is the use of paying in advance for several places if i can not get the booking. CHIS has always given this inactive reason and deny me for the booking then where is my surety of money with CHIS.

                                      6. My 2nd booking in gangtok - This time also i got mentally harassed for around 20 days for gangtok booking. I paid in advance for my air tickets because booking team said that the booking will be done and they will share the hotel detail by 15th march, 2021. And then they stopped responding to my mail and calls on that day and on 16th march they said the booking is not available due to sold out reason and after that when i went to Mr. gurtej of CHIS Booking team he gave the reason of inactive location and then again i get another mail that gangtok is not active.

                                      7. My next booking request for goa and jaisalmer in November was denied again due to inactive location reason.

                                      8. My other booking request for chandigarh was also denied in march month due to inactive location reason.after which i was promised that they will have all the locations from next month and also i can ask for active locations before booking so that i can get 100% surity of booking.

                                      9. Now comes the july, 2022 this time before booking i asked CHIS for their active locations. And from their given option of location i applied for booking. But very shamefully this time also CHIS said that due to high occupancy they can not give booking.

                                      10. Company manipulated me again in march, 2023 for bookings. And because money is stucked to them. They are not regunding. I came to their words again. And harassed my self for more than a week mentally.. for their booking but got nothing in return. They asked me to mark my earlier complaint resolved then only they will give me booking. But even after marking resolved they stepback from their work.

                                      It clearly shows that CHIS is fooling people at their best, first they ask to choose the location from active location and when we choose one they deny the booking by making excuses..

                                      how badly its booking team, customer care, sales team and each one of them manipulate with their words is at par. At once they say it is active and then that it is sold out and at then that it is not active.

                                      All over the world is open now. But CHIS says they are still suffering from Covid time for active/inactive reasons and internal issues of CHIS.

                                      However, when sale team was offering me this membership they never said that the location can get active and inactive and also they never mentioned about 15 days prior notification. But then also i am informing before 15 days.
                                      After that also CHIS Is not able to serve me and as per our Indian law and Indian contract act, 1872 the contract goes null, void, voidable, invalid at the very same time when any of the party is not able to act which was promised or if any party hide some material fact before agreement or at the time of the agreement, if any party sign it beacuse of misrepresentation, fraud it becomes invalid.

                                      And here with CHIS my contract/ agreement is already invalid as the money which was deducted from my card was without my consent and the contract that i signed was not read and understood by me as the CHIS sale team did not allowed me to do so. And also they misrepresented everything about membership and CHIS company and they did fraud to us.

                                      I can not continue this membership as CHIS has failed to serve/act what it has promised and because of hided facts, misrepresentation, continuous mental harassment and many more.
                                      I request CHIS to return my money

                                      I have paid the following amount -

                                      1. Rs. 80, 000 on 12th September, 2020 for membership.
                                      2. Rs. 13, 402 on 26th november, 2020 for ASF and breakfast, lunch and dinner at jim corbett.
                                      3. Rs. 4, 484 on 8th January, 2021 for utility charge of shimla stay from my gift voucher
                                      4. Rs. 2040 on 15th march, 2021 for air tickets from my offers.
                                      5. Rs. 2478 on 1st april, 2021 for breakfast in gangtok hotel.

                                      And i have utilised following things-

                                      1. Rs. 399 hotstar vip membership from my gift vouchers.
                                      2. 3 night stay at jim corbett from my membership nights.
                                      3. Rs. 3000 food voucher from my offers
                                      4. 2 night stay at shimla from my gift voucher
                                      5. 1 night stay at radission from my offers
                                      6. 3 night stay at gangtok from my membership nights.

                                      Kindly add and deduct following above things and refund me the remaining amount by giving proper details.
