Pls note:I bought 30 ceiling fans and after 10 years find almost all the fans canopies 2 nos in each fan disintegrating.
below is the reply fm Crompton service dept at Kolkata Sayin thes efans are not meant to last .
i bought polar and khaitan fans around same time and even earlier which are perfectly ok.

    Fine Electric Co had advertised in daily local newspaper that a free service camp would be organised on 9.03.2010 and 10.03.2010 for appliances like electric motors, fans etc in coordination with CG. When I learnt about the free service camp, I was happy to learn that companies in our country have started giving significance to customer satisfaction and providing after sales service. I talked about it with atleast five of my friends. As I was away on service, I asked one of friends to collect my pedestal fan from my house and take it to Fine electric company for free servicing. However after taking all the pain, I was shocked to know that when my friend reached the service place(Fine Electric Company at 4.30 p.m, they refused to accept the fan for servicing. It was a waste of time and embarrasement for me as I had convinced my friend to take the fan to the service centre inspite of his busy schedule. Time of service mentioned in the daily newspaper was from 9 a.m to 5 p.m

      Hi,

      I bought a new geyser some 3 weeks back and its not working from the day i bought it. Conatcted the dealer but even he is not giving a positive response and suggested to contact the service center. After frequent requests to the service center on complain no. [protected], finally an execuive visited my site and said that thermostat is not working and needs to be changed.

      He had given us a complaint receipt and said it will be chnaged in next 2 to 3 days but till now had no response from their side. Request you to look into this. Thanks.

      Solarium water Geyser purchased in the year 2005. Geyser was working for Two years as per company's fame but after 2 years it gradually failed to perform as it should be. Now every year during the winter, when ever it is operated, the water outlet is insufficient almost dripping ie it takes 1hour to fill half a bucket. Now Geyser requires repairing every year subsequently. We are spending 450 to 550 for three years continuously but now it has become a pain in the neck. We are fed up of this product now.
      Kindly guide us what can be done further ?
      Is buying branded product going to be so painful for the customer who believes in your reputed brand ?

        not working,insufficient flow

        i had purchased submersible pump of 2hp from paras engineering,relief road,ahmedabad 4 days before.motor fails in supplying water on top tank,despite many calls done to dealer no response yet.he is not receiving phone now.today i have submitted comlaint on your helpline,there i came to know it will take 2-3 days..........
        this is your company strategy i came to know after purchasing the product how you and your dealers,service providers...

        I had purchased a Crompton Greaves Geyser having warranty till 2011. It's tank is leaking and I registered the complaint and it was taken by their representataive to service centre. They have informed that the tank is not available in the company and they donot know when it will be available therefore they asked me to wait. But for how long I donot know., It is winter and I need immediate replacement by new geyser if tank is not available since this is co. resposibilty toattend during defect and liability period

        I had purchased a Crompton Geysar Model 25Ltrs/SWH525 on 14.09.2008 from CROMA, Faridabad. Please find Invoice copy of the same for your refrence.

        Since then this Geysar has been problamatic and problem always comes in "Water Tank" as Water Tank goes faulty everty time.

        When tank replaced over 5 times, I contacted Mr. Rakesh Sharma and he has been really helpful and replaced Geysar with same type. But this Geysar is also not working fine, again same fault has reappeared and this has been come 2 times ( 30 Apr' 2010, which I remenber, and 08 Sep 2010) and last time when Crompton Serviceman was replacing Tank, Assembaly goes faulty and it cost me Rs. 1400 additionally.

        This product of Crompton is having either "Serious Manufacturing Fault " OR "Serious Design Fault", This is costing a dissatisfied customer family and wastage of your money" . But why a customer should suffer for this, Why don't you ( Crompton) take back this faulty series back and replace them with Good Quality Geysar series as a civilized society and responsible company.

        This is really very painful for me every time to first have to watch the problem, during these days dirty Bathroom, A lot of inconcvienince and particular in this season this is seriously nonygenic condition ad because of this some times we are not able to use bathrooms, Whole family get disturbed as one Bathroom is not usable because of one Geysar. I can not explain much more here but just think how and what will be the consequeneces if Geysar is leaky and water is evetry where in the bathroom all the time in anybody's home and the same has happened with me 7-8 times. Whole family, Relatives can not trust on Crompton Brand at all .

        Please help me by replacing this" useless product" by someone "Useful product" immediately ( This time this is faulty since last 4 days ( Complaint No. [protected]) and Crompton service provider is even not able to give me any timeline for Tank replacement, All this is very very painful, Wastage of Time, Wastage of Money and a lot of Mental Stress, family unrest …) which atleast should work for next for 4-5 years and I also demand some appropriate compensation for this inconvinence and stress bearing all this during faulty Geysars days

        Hope you will undersatnd my problem and expect a good suitble solution.

        I would like to speak to your Senior Management about all this has happened with me, please give some one's number who really care as I can also find these numbers on website but don't know who really cares of all this.

        This is regarding a poor service that i am facing with Crompton Greaves.We purchased a Geyser from Ashoka Dealer Sec-16 on 5/1/2007 bill No.1306.Last year the tank was leaking, I lodged a complaint regarding the same problem on your toll free no and they gave me complaint, the guy came fixed it and next day again it leaked.This year i logged many complaints as [protected], [protected] and
        [protected].The guy came and said that company is not providing him sufficient resources.May i please know whats the use of this geyser if like last year it wont be used in the winter season.
        How I am supposed to recommend to any of your products if myself having so much of problem with this product.Could any one please action on it asap.

        I am also facing the same problem by CG & A Victim of Brand Equity it enjoys.
        I had bought Crompton Greaves Solarium Plus Water Heater on 22nd Nov 2009 from KSR Home Appliances, Vaishali, Ghaziabad with Bill Serial no 222.

        It was noted on 16th March 2010 that there was a leak from the bottom of the Heater, following which A Complaint was launched with no [protected], whch was serviced by your people & it was found that there is a leak from Tank & Element.

        I bought your water heater seeing 5 Star Rating & Solarium Plus is the premium range of CG, I was surprised & dissapointed over this complaint as I never expected this kind of fault coming from CG product within short interval of 4 months.

        Thankfully the complaint was entertained & the Water Heater was replace, but all seems to be in waste as I have similar problem this year also since, the begining of season that there is current running in line & it was not heating, The Complaint was registered on 25th Dec with no. [protected], which till date could not be resolved despite of 2 Different Service Centre People visiting & quoting different rates. This is totally a casual approach of Service Centre & CG Staff. I have been informed that I will have to pay Rs 800 to change the element, which according to me is an extra cost after buying the best Water Heater they have in their series.

        My Appeal to CG, either to remove the 5 Star Rating or improve the quality as I am totally Unsatisfied by Quality, Service & Attitude of One Of The Best Thought Off Electrical Appliance Company.

        i have purchased the domestic pump model-mini winII. from A.R.Electricals Ramnagar. I have a complant of bearing failiure i have registered my complaint to the toll free no but the visitor said that i have to carry that pump to the respective authorised service center which is at the distance of 60 km from the installation place so i have to expend Rs200 for the repiring which is free for the sence of company so where is the gaureenty in this sence so i regest you to don't purchace the products of this company.

          unexpecting poor service from crompton greaves called up to Anand branch last 2 weeks complient about ceiling fanwhich is in under warranty.but ther is no response from this service centre. so I suggested to my friends we have to think when we are trying to crompton greaves products.complient no 82

            purchased 4 seeling fan (crompton greaves make) one month back, after using for 12 days 3 fan started giving problem of noise.phoned customer service division they came and repaired,after 10 days again same problem came ,they now told that they will replace it with new one ,they took 15 days to bring new fan which was also faulty.still waiting for new fan to be replaced...
            hopeless quality..and service i think they should be charged heavely..

              I had purchased one Crompton Greaves motor on 20/9/2009 with great expectation from one of your dealer named M/s AMBIKA SANITARY & HARDWARE STORE, GHAZIABAD. Unfortunately with in 10days it started giving trouble. It creates a loud untolerrable noise. It is so unfortunate at your end that we are just seeking for brand new motor but no one is ready to listen either the dealer or your company representative.
              Can you give a single reason that why should i keep a repaired motor.
              I request you to kindly replace this defected motor soon as you know that how much difficulty one face due to unavilability the same.

                we purchased Deluxe tower Fan during 2004. Really we enjoyed and liked this fan. Within a year this started giving noice. Though we got repaired from their service center in Chennai but trouble continues. We can authoritatively say that none can substitute this fan. We shocked to hear that this brand ie DELUXE tower fan production was stopped abruptly. It is rather surpise to note that how such big compnay can stop such a wonderful fan without providing spare parts to the consumers who are using this fan. There is no alternative to the consumers who are using this fan but to throw out for a bottom price or to keep abandoned. But in our case, though it continues to give such noice, we r unable to throw out this fan because none can substitute this fan especillay in the area of air throw. Our humble request is that if the compnay is keeping this type of DELUXE tower fan, as a special case ,can sell to us , we are grateful to them. In fact we r using CG fans, water heater in our house.

                  Dear sir,

                  I have purchased a water pump motor from M/s Shree Ram Enterprises, 24 Corner market, Malviya nagar, New delhi on around 29th July 2009. As per the supplier this motor is warranted for one year from the date of supply.
                  Since the date of fitting this motor is not able to extract water due to which we are facing water problem from nearly 15 days.The motor is not running properply.

                  On 31st of july 2009, I made a complaint to the company for this faulty motor they gave me complaint no [protected] and assured me that reasonable action will be taken within 24 hours. A company service person came to my home and checked the motor, but he told me that the motor which i purchased is faulted and cannot be repaired. Then i talked to the shopkeeper about the faulty motor, he told me to go to the service centre at 87 shahpurjat, new delhi. They checked the motor but still the motor is in the same condition as i went there with the motor.There are also some noises always comes from the motor.Again i complaint 2 times for the motor.Complaint no. [protected] Soneeka Enterprises on 7th august. And [protected] Bhoomika Engineering Company on 10th august, but i have gotton no responses.

                  This is really a very negligent act done by such a reputed company and the seller. If this type of things being done by such a company then why the customer will trust such companies

                  Please take my complaint very seriously as I am in trouble as there is not a drop of water in my house.

                  Crompton greaves — mini pump defect

                  i purchased a minipump in month of april 2010 from MS Divya Pump, meerut. after 10 days only pump stopped working. we gathered that pump use to get jammed while running....sometimes it use to run and automatically use to stop. gradually it stopped working completely. i called customer care toll free no. n registered the complaint but my complaint is not getting rectified, its above a month.I have made several reminders but there is no one to listen.... customer care people say call regional manager. Regional managers no. is never picked. dealer says talk to the comany...and all the harrasment is faced by consumer. What kind of product this company makes and above this what a commitment towards service... that is for sure will never suggest anybody to buy crompton products. It is so irritating...dont know what to do ...
                  I am also facing the same problem. After purchase of motor and installation, it's not working. Dealer is not responding

                    dear sir,
                    i had purchased this water heater from mahesh enterprises, on 18/12/2007.
                    but now this water heater is having water leakage problem.when i had send
                    it to repair the service centre asked us for rs 1000.00for repairing charges.
                    i got it back as the purchase price was only rs 1950.00.could you please
                    tell me why so much repairing cost.

                      I have purchased a 15Litres Water Heater from Jayam & Co, Anna Nagar, Chennai on 21/02/2009 vide their Bill No. Annr9560. The Model is SWH515 and the S.No is GL7-203694.

                      Due to summer, the water heater is being sparingly used but to our surprise, we have noticed water leakage from the tank within 3months o[censored]sage. Their service personnel has replaced it but after that we could not use it due to thermostat, thermal cut-out and other problems.

                      I have selected Crompton Greaves for their reputation and brand name as many years i am using fans. without any problem. But the water heater is totally a worthless piece which i didnt expect from Crompton Greaves. I am surprised to note that how the tank made up of non corrosive metal sheet has failed so fast? The other parts are also of very inferior quality.

                      I am sure that it will be a nightmare with this products in the coming days.

                        i have purchased Crompton Greaves Solarium IWH 01P instant water heater from Reliance Digital on 27th of June 09 along with LG TV and Samsung Fridge.

                        Installation of fridge and TV is done after multiple calls to reliance digital in a span of 10 days.

                        now almost one month is over and the Water Heater installation is not done.

                        the ResQ no given 4472222 is always busy which i am trying to call from last 25 days.

                        Pathetic service by brans Reliance - suggest others to be aware of these facts if planning to buy from Reliance Digital

                            I bought Crompton Greaves water heater SWH 510 WHT from Creative Agencies, 9-41-31/1, Pithapuram Colony, Besides Deccan Chronicle, Visakhapatnam- 530003, Phone:[protected],
                            email: [protected]@hotmail.com on 17 th December 2008. From ther day one, the red and green indicator lamps are not working. I have represented to the seller as well as the service agency. But till date for almost six months my complaint is not attended.
                            This may be a small matter for Giant Cropton Greaves. But it is a big issue for the customer who bought it with confidence in Cropton Greaves product and services. But this incident is a very sad / bad example of the way Crompton Greaves's services work.
                            If this is given attention I will be happy as a customer.

                              I have purchased a CG Pedestal Fan 18" Hi Flow for Rs.2250 just 1-2 months back. It was working normally when i took to home. 2 Days back the speed changing switch has been broken, so i have registered a complaint to CG. The service guy now says that the broken parts will not be covered under warranty. CG has delivered a bad quality product to a customer and it cant withstand for 1-2 months and now they are asking Rs.80 to replace the switch. Total rubbish. We are not small Kids to break and play.

                                With reference to the subject cited above I have the honour to inform you that I bought one Crompton Greaves 1.5 HP Multi Stage Pump set, model-MJM1.5H, SL-FGBJ50378 form Magnet House, Manipuri Basti, G.S.Road, Guwahati-7 on 07-01-09.
                                But to my utter surprise from the very first day I noticed some leakage near the shaft. Gradually the leak increases and subsequently I complaint to servicing center phone nos.[protected] on 12th May09.On 13th May/09 on authorised person name Mr. B. Das came and dismentled the pump and took away to their workshop. On 14th May/09 they bring the pump back and fitted and after priming the pump started but the defect remains the same. Mr. J. Medhi the works manager ask me to pay the price of the mechanical seal amounting to Rs.210/-. But I decided not to pay the same as defect is not rectified. Mr. B. Das assured me that leak will automatically dies down and he went home. I contact him again and informed him abou the leak over phone but the person concerened didn't turn up.
                                Again I went to the the workshop of Crompton Greaves on 22-05-09 and lodged complaint and they assured me get the mechanical seal replaced at the site.Accordingly they came and replaced the Mechanical seal at the site. But to my utter surprise the technical person who is re4pairing the pump twice cann't recxtify the defect. This is a complint against such a organisation who is manufacturing pump since 1964. They produced a bill vide no953 dated 22-05-09 for the mechanical seal and this time I paid the bill.
                                I again lodged complain over phone on29-05-09 regarding the defect and they told and they replied that donot have stock of mechanical seal when it will available they surely replace it. But till today they didn't turn up
                                I would like to look in to the matter and take appopriate action in order to rectify the defect so that I may be releived of priming the pump every day.

                                sir i have installed ajet pump in my single storied house at bilaspur(CG) whenever i go on leave ie few days gap to run the pump we suffer from this pump otherwise no problem i am facing.can u tell me the remedy of this.it is not also easyly primed.when this situation occur i become in a trouble. at the time of purchasing i had great faith on cg pumps but practically i am suffering.
                                pls get-rid-of from this trouble.
                                sir, i am very much fond of your product since begining. but nowdays i am suffering from my jet pump made by you.When we go on live we feel problem of priming the pump.it is not easily primed it takes lot of time. kindly tell me remedy of it. pipe 80ft from ground level.my mobile no. [protected].i am engineer of ntpc ltd.i know very well your product understanding that i purchased it.

                                  We bought a Crompton greaves wall mounted fan on 11.04.2007
                                  In the month of may 2008 the fan blade got broken, So we registered a warranty complaint of 0085 on 05.05.2008, But the chennai service team told the blade will not cover under warranty, so we paid Rs.250 to the technician for the replacement, After one year we have started using the fan in the summer time from april 2009, within one month the base of the fan got broken, Once again we thought to go with original and made a complaint of OGF 890 0n 25.05.2009 but the technician came on 30.05.2009 and told that the materials will reach within 15 days, but we have to pay Rs.450-500.

                                  I bought a fan for Rs.1450 and the maintenance cost for two year to the fan is Rs.750?

                                  Now I need a reasonable answer from the supplier.

                                  High Flow wall mount fan — Replacement of faulty fan

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,
                                  I have purchase the high flow wall mount fan wide sr. no.IAM003568 from Parag Appliances, Dombivli (E), Dist: Thane. as on[protected]. while purchase the fan it was packed and unassembelled.
                                  on same date I called our electrician and install it properly, as on[protected] it was having some unusual noise and after one day it has stopped the working.
                                  I contacted the to Parag Appl. as on[protected] and on[protected] your machanic had visited our residence and examine the fan and he told me that motor is dead we have replace the motor. I said in very short term this fan is stopped I want new one he said ok you talk to the service centre which in thane and tell them, I had contacted many times but no budy has pick that phone at last I had contacted to Parag Appl. they told me to bring the fan and they are going to replace it.
                                  I took the fan to them as on 8-5-2009 they are in process to hand over me the new fan but one sales man of that shop has interrupted in between and very rudely he spoke to me that we will not replace the fan we will only replace the motor.
                                  i dont understand how to react on it I have just left the fan there and come out of the shop.
                                  kindly replace the faulty fan immidiatly.

                                  yeh company wale apne naam ka fayda uttate h kyunki inne pata h log naam bikta h..
                                  I brought a wall fan on june 2012 recently after days it creating a noise some like bearing noise.

                                  So i complaint to the dealer they told me to contract Crompton greaves customer service center they will replace.

                                  but after putting so much effort they charge me rs 700/- for replacement of parts.

                                    We bought a plastic body instant geyser about 8 months ago, which has 1 years warranty. The warranty book or the company's site does not have even a contact no. for logging a complaint. The nos. which are mentioned never respond. I am just stuck where to complaint. Dealer/Retailer does not entertain the complaints

                                    I have mr.prem ([protected]) number, but he is not responding any way.. I called him more than 10 time, but no response from his side and company side
