On 8 March I received a call from +91 [protected] mobile number, user had all my flipkart order information, he claimed that one of the order is placed so please share the OTP to cancel the same.
Since he had all the flipkart account information, i thought he is from flipkart so shared the OTP and immediately I received a sms stating accounting has been transferred.attached image for reference.
I noticed this suspicious activity, informed the customer service immediately but flipkart has very bad service, most of the executives not even care to respond.
But later, i got a chance to explain the situation and they suggested to write a email to [protected]@flipkart.com.
But no response from the recipient.again today after so many attempts, one of the executives responded to my query and registered a complaint on this.
But what is the use of this tedious process ??
Flipkart should have stopped this malicious activity when the user called to customers service stating account has been hacked henceforth block the account preventing from unauthorised transactions.
I seriously don’t understand why flipkart pay later service doesn’t have two times verification process.
I sincerely request team to take the case on high priority.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
