The order was placed on 28.08.2020 and delivered on 07.09.2020. The same was installed on 08.09.2020. After seeing that the product was non functioning, we tried contacting the whirlpool technician immediately, but to no avail. We initiated the replacement procedures on 09.09.2020 and the replacement fridge was due for arrival on 18.09.2020. On contacting the customer care they kept on repeatedly delaying the delivery, citing excuses.
On 28.09.2020, we tried contacting the customer service twice, and both the executives gave contradicting set of instructions each time. Based on the suggestion of an executive to freshen up the replacement option on the fridge (by cancelling the replacement option and applying again) we did as we were told, but now the very option for replacement is unavailable as it has already crossed the 14 day limit for refunds and replacements.
It is not our problem that the fridge is not functioning, we want flipkart to either pay the refund or replace the fridge with a non faulty one. We have phone calls recorded with us. If you're still unwilling to respond properly, we have no option but to move forward legally and press charges with the consumer court
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
