Updated by nidhi rastogi The TV was repaired on 8th October but has stopped working again on 10th October. So this sows the quality of service of flipkart. Mechanics are more interested in doing private work and earning money, than do the job properly.

Updated by nidhi rastogi Even after 3 days, no response from Flipkart or from their service partners Jeeves. This is the kind of pathetic service they provide (may be worth only few hundred bucks) after taking 4000/- for extended warranty.

Updated by nidhi rastogi I received mail from Flipkart on 18th that the amount of 18295/ - will be credited to my account as refund of defective TV and the TV will not be picked up (we can dispose off the defective TV) the mail is pasted here:

This is further to the telephonic conversation that we had.
We'd like to let you know that the seller will process the refund amount of Rs.18295/- within the next 24-48 hours & it will be credited to the Neft bank account within 3-5 business days as per standard banking procedures.
Also, Vu Pixelight 127cm (50 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV product wont be picked up by the seller.

But sad to say that amount not credited till date. Now after I have disposed the TV to scrap dealer, they are sending mails again and calling for resolving the matter, even though the matter is already settled by way of refund for TV.
These guys cannot honour their own word, and are therefore not reliable. I have vowed to never buy anything from Flipkart again in my life.
