Sir,
I opened a current account in hdfc bank at dabagarden branch, visakhapatnam recently.
They also offered to give swiping machine of hdfc free of cost, for the account.
I asked them regarding the charges and usage they didnt tell me anything about it, just said it is free sir u use it without any problem.
After two months they started deducting charges from my account, and when i inquire about it, they told me that i should swipe minimum 1 lakh for each month or else i will be charged for it 600/- rs.
They told the new rule is passed after i took the machine, and also they told me that on swiping a debit card of customer i will be charged 1% of the amount, but on swiping 7788/- rupees from one customer 235/- rupees were deducted from my account which is nearly 3%.
After getting irritated i gave a letter for disconnection for the swiping machine, they took the request online and gave me the number 9and7609385 they told they will collect the machine from my shop in few days, but still no one came today 10 days over, just because they want to continue charge me for the inactive machine too.
Hdfc staffs are just wanting to cheat and misguide customers for their commision. Please look into the matter and get my complain resolved as soon as possible.
