I am receiving messages on 21-12-18, auth#019094&auth#028831, on 24-12-18, auth#034519, of each ₹38, 500 is credited, but here twice only the amount of ₹38, 500 is credited but i m getting messages on all the 3 approval number, so please verify on all the 3 approved number and inform about the changes through mail or call or message.

    Someone made a fraudulent online transaction using my hdfc credit card to buy turkish airlines ticket amounting to inr 2, 02, 803 on 18/11/2018. I got a call from customer care asking me to verify whether it was done by me. I clearly told them i didn’t do any such transaction. I received an sms alerting me about the transaction after the call. I was asked to submit a dispute form at the local branch which i did next day (Because transaction happened on sunday-bank closed). The card was closed, amount was credited back to my card and a new card was issued. I wrote a mail to turkish airlines too to alert them about the fraud. But there was no response from them. Now i have received a mail from bank saying merchant has provided details of transaction and i was responsible for transaction. This is really pathetic. I think their database security is very weak. I’m also getting fraud calls from indian mobile numbers saying i have an account with hdfc bank and there is a new app to be downloaded. I feel so frustrated and cheated. How do i take this forward?

      Dear Sir,

      I am customer of HDFC bank since more than 10 years .

      Incident Period : 14th January to till date

      On 14th January, HDFC personal dept. loan officer name told over mobile as Ms Nishi (Mail id: zahid.[protected]@gmail.com & Mobile No. [protected]) and her manager Mr Sanjay Dhangar (Mail id: [protected]@gmail.com & Mobile No. [protected]) has called and inquired me for any personal loan requirement. I told her that currently i have been one Loan with HDFC bank whose EMI is Rs 41771/- per month and almost paid for 19 months so I donot want any top up loan. As she communicated that rate of interest will be given @10.99% instead of 11.25% as its drop down and currently scheme is going on so she insisted me to take Loan as interest is less. So I had shown interest as I was in need of my Home repair work at my native. So I asked what is maximum fresh Loan is eligible for me?
      For the same she asked me documents to be send as she cannot check eligibility details without documents. So I have mail her like salary slips, account statement, PAN etc (mail ref. 1) which I have sent her for necessary confirmation for Loan. I have many times told her and her manager that I don’t want current loan closure (i.e. BT) and if i am eligible for fresh loan amount then only process even if it is lesser amount say @5 Lakhs else i don't want loan. I have enough WhatsApp conversation between us as well as important call recording for the evidence.

      1) 14th Jan 2019_Loan Documents sent to Ms Nishi madam on mail id mentioned above
      2) 17th Jan 2019_Mail received from mail id sales.[protected]@gmail.com with subject matter :HDFC Bank Personal loan Scheme confirmation[protected] SATISH J PATIL 1, 580, 000.00 by Finwizz Financial Services Pvt Ltd
      3) I have clearly denied not to process amount as the that was after closure of my current loan account where more interest part I paid in 19 months and not beneficial after closing loan. I am also not aware about how the BT applicable in same bank.
      4) She keeps on calling and convincing me along with her Manager Mr. Sanjay, but I keep them denying as per mail dated 17th Jan 2019 from sales.[protected]@gmail.com interest rate is higher (11.25%) and not committed earlier and also the scheme mentioned is closure of my current Loan (Closing Loan was loss to me paying more % rate of interest for the 19 months which I paid to Bank)
      5) On 25th January, madam has sent me on my WhatsApp number fresh Loan of 5L details with EMI options of 10869/Month rs and cash back offer and no any other charges will be deducted. I was get convinced with this details and asked her that this fresh loan with10.99% interest rate is Ok for me. So she called me and just reply “OK” to mail dated 17th January 2019 ( as attached details mail copy). This call is record is available with me as evidence where I have asking for only fresh loan of 5L and donot process for closure . I also insisted to send me fresh mail with 5L sanctioned amount but she told that they have processing with 5L amount only and need to only reply as “OK” to mail. This total communication recording is available with me as a evidence .
      6) I have replied “Ok” to mail as per call conversion between me and Ms Nishi
      7) But they have processed my application with LOAN Account No. 64525722 and disbursed Loan Amt of rs 1580000 Tenor 60 months and actual amount deposited in my bank was Rs. 541135/- as SMS received from my SBI account where the Loan amount was deposited
      8) I was surprised with this processing amount and feel Ms Nishi alonwith their Manager cheated me by closing on previous Loan of HDFC bank, sanctioning Bank Transfer Loan in same HDFC bank and deducted somany amounts which are never been discussed with me nor HDFC bank has taken consent from me.
      9) I have started calling Ms Nishi and her Manager but they were not picking up my phone calls. I was little become annoyed and conveyed that I will visit bank and compliant or will report to consumer complaint forum. Then they started little picking up my phone but not giving details of Loan and advoc deduction which I never aggred for .
      10) Since neither HDFC bank has taken my consent nor sent any Loan approval mail or Letter, Neither confirmation call from HDFC bank and directly deposited Rs. 541135/- in bank which is illegal and not proper. I also replied on 1st Feb 2019 to Bank that they this is not acceptable to me and Bank should reverse the Loan. Mail evidence attached
      11) Since there were no actions and no positive response after repeatedly reminding to Ms Nishi and Mr Sanjay for reversal or cancellation of Loan. But no response from their side. They were trying to hide their identity by handing over their calls to somebody else and keep playing with my emotions
      12) So I visited to Bund Garden Road HDFC Bank on 16th Feb 2019 and trying to meet them but they were hided their location during call and not liked to come to discuss the matter or give me details of deduction and total accounting for how only rs 5, 41135/- is deposited. I have requested on mobile call to Ms Nishi Madam and Mr Sanjay after reaching HDFC, Bundgarden Branch but they were avoided me meeting there and not sharing any information
      13) Thereafter I reached customer service dept. and explained the cheating happened with me. Customer service representative has helped me by giving location of Mr Chandan Kumar of HDFC Bank who seats on 2nd Floor .
      14) I explained whole incidence to him (16th Feb 2019) and he also aggred that no communication from HDFC bank for details of deduction has been sent to me and loan directly processed . But he keeps on convincing me by balancing the account statement deduction of Loan Account No. 64525722 on his computer but not willing to share details of Ms Nishi and Mr Sanjay.
      I was helpless when even Mr Chandan Kumar not listen my compliant and not taking action against the cheating and fraud loan processing happened with me

      15) I desire that HDFC bank should listen my complaint and the lapse or Fraud Loan processing happened before disbursement of Loan amount in bank. I have lost major interest amount due to closure of my previous loan and given higher rate Loan with of deduction from my loan amount without my consent as well as not committed as per details provided by Ms Nishi and Mr Sanjay.
      • Note : I have the important evidences like Mails, Whatsapp communication and Mobile call recordings to justify my stand of cheating from HDFC Loan bankers.

      Kindly request to take my complaint for best resolution possible for give justice for refunding my monetory loss happened due to fraud loan processing . HDFC Bank should take consent from consumer before processind Loan amount disbursement and strck action against the Loan Processing offciers.

      I have already contacted Mr Chandan Kumar but the details has not as per commitmnet and without confirmation from me.
      There has been external agency interacted Ms Nishi and Mr Sanjay who has cheated me and no deduction as well as cash back offer was discussed and I have evidences of their call recording.
      Mr Chandan Kumar has also not given the details prior the loan disbursement nor any initiamation either thorugh mail nor from your Head office call.
      Last time when i have applied for loan there was call from HDFC officer itself and given all details explaining the deduction, interest rate and reconfirming from me that laon is as per all aggred term and conditions explained clearly by person who has interacted me.

      I am very much disappointed as when Mr Chadan Kumar himself is not want to discluse the name and location who has interacting me for loan requirement.
      Please once against request to bring the such officers who keep on cheating people on giving loan and customer loosing their money . I will fight for the justice till my loss is not be refunded as per commitment.

      Henceforth i will not trust HDFC people who interact on mobile as well give wrong commitment.

      Dear Sir,

      I have still not received the response for cheating done by the Loan Officers from HDFC Ms Nishi and Mr Sanjay.
      I have visited Bank at Branch of Band-garden road but they do not want to come forward to meet neither HDFC disclosing their sitting place.
      This seems that all are involved in cheating case and do not want to resolve issue.
      Please arrange to resolve my issue. All the evidences and call recordings are available with me.

        I am Priya, I had taken an Auto loan from HDFC Bank in the month of June 2018. Since then I have been paying the monthly EMIs on time, since from last three years I maintained a handsome amount in my salary account. But, because I lost my job suddenly due to a tragic incident at my place, I was unable to pay the EMI for last two months which is January and February. I had informed the bank that due to this sudden state, I am unable to make the EMIs for now but will be paying them back by the end of this month.

        However, even after constantly being in touch with HDFC people, their recovery agents started calling me almost everyday and embarrassing me with their harsh words for not being able to pay back the last two EMIs. Earlier also, I had registered a complaint (ID 2222486) but unfortunately no action has been taken against it by HDFC.

        But today, what happened was really harsh on my social image. An executive called somebody that I used to know 6 years back in college. We are not even friends but today that person called me and told me the whole story that an HDFC Executive called him in the morning around 12 and asked if he knew me. I was in his vague memory so he accepted he knew me back then but now we are not in touch. So the executive told him that I have an auto loan running on my account for which I have not paid two EMIs. So, that guy asked him what do I do in this case then? To which, that executive told him that Priya has mentioned your name as one of the guarantors in the loan and If Priya doesn't pay the EMIs, his CIBIL will get spoiled and also a legal action will be taken against you.

        Out of concern, that guy found out my number through some connection and informed of this whole scenario and how he got a call from [protected].

        My question here is- Isn't this kind of a social harassment, HDFC Bank is giving me in the name of those two EMIs? Even after informing them of my current state and taking their calls timely, they are still degrading my image in public? Is this very derogatory? The moment I received a call from that guy, I was in a state of shock. How did the HDFC executive got that guy's number who I have never talked in these last six years? Does HDFC bank hold the right to leak my personal account details without my permission and intimation to anyone? Or are they trapping and hacking my phone and personal data to get contacts from it and harass me in public? Was I not given this loan after checking and assuring my repaying capacity? Also, is HDFC Bank allowed to lie like this????

        This kind of harassment is completely intolerable and illegal. For HDFC bank's reference, I quote a few points from RBI guidelines below:

        (iii) Fair Practices in debt collection

        (a) In the matter of recovery of dues, banks / NBFCs may ensure that they, as also their agents, adhere to the extant instructions on Fair Practice Code for lenders (circular DBOD. Leg. No. BC. 104 /09.07.007 / 2002–03 dated May 5, 2003) as also IBA’s Code for Collection of dues and repossession of security. In case banks / NBFCs have their own code for collection of dues it should, at the minimum, incorporate all the terms of IBA's Code.

        (b) In particular, in regard to appointment of third party agencies for debt collection, it is essential that such agents refrain from action that could damage the integrity and reputation of the bank / NBFC and that they observe strict customer confidentiality. All letters issued by recovery agents must contain the name and address of a responsible senior officer of the card issuing bank whom the customer can contact at his location.

        (c) Banks / NBFCs / their agents should not resort to intimidation or harassment of any kind, either verbal or physical, against any person in their debt collection efforts, including acts intended to humiliate publicly or intrude the privacy of the credit card holders’ family members, referees and friends, making threatening and anonymous calls or making false and misleading representations

        I want an answer in regards to the mental and social trauma that I had to go through by these HDFC Bank recovery agents.

              Hdfc has levied false credit card charges of rs 22, 000 when i never used the credit card. I went to the home branch to sort out this issue. No help. They sent me to credit card division. At the credit card division they said they could not help and asked me to write an email to grievance redressal. Grievance redressal said that it was for smartpay activation charges for an unknown person's phone number. When i demanded a copy of the application for the activation and questioned the validity of their claim, they sent me a legal notice for rs. 22, 000 which demands payment within 7 days. They refuse to address the issue personally. They only send some vague template emails. This bank has terrible customer service. There is no person to person interaction. They will not accept that there is a mistake on their part.

                  I have recently gone through my CIBIL score and iam surprised to see that my score is appearing as 1. though i have personal loan from HDFC since March 2018 and I also have credit card from December 2018.

                  My CUS ID 70862843

                  My Personal loan is also not mapping on my netbanking, i really dont understand why this is happening.

                  I urge HDFC bank to please update my CIBIL score and let my loan details be displayed in my net banking.
                  since i have no late payments in past 1 year how come my cibil can be 1.

                  Your immediate action is required.

                    I purchased jewellery from tanishq through my hdfc debit card on 12th august 2018. As per running offer i was supposed to get 5% cashback if paid through hdfc credit/debit card. 6 months already passed but till date no cashback received nor any communication is there stating the timeline for cashback.

                    I have already tried to contact the customer care, but everytime the call gets disconnected after sometime. And no complain has been registered.

                      Today I got a message from HDFC (Insta Alert) that a mandate for Rs.45400 has been issues for IDFC bank with reference no. HDFC[protected] and to me this is illegitimate transaction that is about to happen. I tried to get in touch with your phone banking staff and after waiting for several minutes that call was attended and then disconnected and the next time when I called I talked to a lady who was not only rude but was constantly cutting me while I was explaining my situation.

                      In a nutshell I have not authorised this transaction and if any such transaction happens HDFC will be responsible for it.

                      I keep on receiving emails that they have been money withdrawn from the account using debit card. I have not been in the country for years and don't have debit card. I have tried calling the no from UK and the indian no, none of the numbers work. I have tried to locate account number again cannot see which account - What is HDFC doing about??? HDFC you have lot of explaining to do. Can you tell me what information you need from me... I have no idea what is happening to my account surely you will make them dormant if no one has used it for for at least 4+ years????

                      Below is just one example out of many I received is attached, I have received about at least 3 today...can you sort this out please?

                        Hi team,

                        Have cancelled irctc ticket partially from paytm app. And after some days, have received notification from paytm is that refund has been initiated. Now this has been almost more than 2 weeks, still money yet to be refunded in my account.

                        So raised a complaint with paytm but they updated that refund was initiated from their end but some where it is stuck in bank. So request you to ask hdfc bank how to reach their customer care as every time i have to wait on call for more then 30 to 40 mins, with no resolution.

                          I had a four wheeler auto finance loan account with hdfc bank, chembur, mumbai branch. My loan account no. Is 31795338. I had repaid my full loan amount on 08.03.2018 without any default. I was told by the bank that i will receive my loan closure letter after 3 months that time. After waiting for around 5-6 months when i didn't receive the closure letter upon enquiring the bank told me that the closure letter got returned back to them by post as it seems no one was their at my residence to collect it. So i was told by the bank that now i have to personally visit their branch & collect the closure letter in person. When i visited the branch on 14.02.2019 to collect the closure letter/noc i was told to pay rs. 500/- for issuing duplicate noc. First of all it's a blatant lie that the letter they had send got returned from my door as claimed by the bank because there were no missed you note left by any courier company or the postal department. Secondly i asked them if the original letter got returned to them then where's the question of issuing a duplicate letter is arising, they can handover me the original letter itself. But after a prolong argument as i was running out of time i paid them rs. 500/- & took the closure letter. They were initially denying to give me a receipt for the payment but after threatening them of legal action they gave me receipt bearing no. [protected]. Please look into this as i feel cheated by the bank.

Firstly I think you should go through my complaint again before making an irresponsible comment. I have clearly mentioned that there were no 'missed you' note left by the courier company at my door if they haven't found me at my communication address. Plz note I was still very much residing at the address which is there in your records at the time when the letter was delivered as claimed by your bank. Secondly if there is a prescribed fer for issuing duplicate NOC then why your bank staff was reluctant to give me a receipt for the same? Plz reply to my queries at the earliest. Being a scheduled financial institution would suggest you to refrain from making false claims.

                            I have been sold a policy from hdfc representative at the bank, the payment was being charged. I haven't got the policy document. There was no communication from the bank for 1 year. Now i got a call from the bank to make the 2nd premium payment. I called the helpline number and they refused to give any information about the policy. The policy document was delivered as per their hdfc life records. I requested the customer care to call on the registered number and give some information about the policy so that i can make the payment, the lady refused. I wrote and email to [protected]@hdfclife.co, they also replied with the same answer that they can reply to the registered id which is not mentioned in the policy so they can not do anything. The just raised an interaction id hdfcsl=[protected]. I am feeling so so harassed by the hdfc life team, can't even explain. Is there any way-out to make them understand the pain they give to the customer. They are not ready to listen that the policy document is delivered to wrong person. They are not giving any information to me. They are not ready to get in touch with me on my registered phone number.
                            Kindly suggest what should i do? Can i take this matter to consumer court?

                              Hdfc life staff seem to be only interested in new customers who are ready sign up and least bothered about people who like to surrender. After horrible customer service from hdfclife, i am submitting a complaint here as no one is responding about my policy surrender.

                              After circulating their office number of times and even after submitting all the required documents, no one is responding to my policy status. Also, they try really hard to convince you to buy a policy in lieu of surrender and if you don't buy one, they don't care to hear your concerns.
                              Awful customer service and worst experience with the staff. Hope someone is listening to my problem and i get my refund asap.

                                There is a person in your hdfc bank kanjurmarg collection department named ankush. He called me a few days back if i knew a {xyz} friend and i said yes. Since that day, every time that girl doesn't answer the phone, this man starts calling me and harrasing me and says ask that customer to answer the phone, i am usually at work and i cant take personal calls and this guy doesn't seem to understand. I do not know how my number got into her account and i have no loan / debt with hdfc and i am not appreciating teh phone calls. How do i go about resolving this???

                                  There was a deduction of Rs.1000 from my HDFC bank account while withdrawing cash from ATM.                                     I paid my hdfc credit card bill amount of rupees 8237 on 5 feb 2019 . But i got a mail in next day afternoon that my autopay was initiated and due to non - availability of sufficient funds a payment return fee will be levied to your card account, if applicable. Then i called the hdfc credit card customer care service to complaint about the same. The customer service associate promised me that the amount will not be deducted from my card. But after that amount of rs. 460 has been debited from my credit card and also rs.0.86 has been deducted from my savings account. Why should i pay the return fee as i already cleared the payment in my card. This is unfair and not acceptable. I want my amount back in my account.

                                      I am using hdfc diners club credit card. When this card given to me they informed that there is no membership fee. Then they debited Rs. 1000 and said that my transaction is less than rs. 1 lac.
                                      Again after 8 month they have debited rs. 1000 towards membership fee.
                                      While I am trying to speak with customer care they disconnect phone.
                                      Also they have charged rs. 500 for late fee. While there is no information given to me regarding this.
