As an account holder, I have every right to view documents pertaining to my account. Please email me the initial documents to my registered email address. See dated 23rd June 2023
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
HDFC Bank decided that by not allowing the account holder to view their own documents and deflecting a response by citing it as an internal matter is a cause for concern. They determined that the case is closed. With this bullying attitude and withholding documents, how can HDFC Bank justify being with the big banks of the world.

HDFC Bank is not responding to my queries to allow the account holder to view account holder's documents. HDFC Bank has made the decision that the case is closed. This is fraud. Banks and Life Insurance companies are treating their customers with contempt once accounts are opened.

      Subject: Complaint Regarding Uninformed ACH Debit Return Charges

      Dear HDFC Bank Customer Service,

      I am writing to file a complaint regarding an unexpected charge that was deducted from my account without any prior notification. I have been a loyal customer of HDFC Bank for a long time, using my account for frequent transactions. However, yesterday I noticed two charges on my account statement: ₹590 and ₹499.19, both labeled as "ACH debit return charges."

      I would like to emphasize that I had not been informed about these charges by the bank beforehand. As a result, I immediately contacted my bank to express my concerns and initiate a resolution process. However, despite raising the issue, no action has been taken so far. This situation has led to a significant loss for me, especially considering my frequent transactions. In fact, just the day before yesterday, I conducted a transaction of ₹7, 000 from the same account.

      I kindly request you to thoroughly investigate this matter and resolve the issue promptly. It is essential that HDFC Bank returns the deducted amount to my account. As a customer, I find it extremely disheartening that there was no prior intimation from the bank regarding these charges. This lack of communication erodes trust in public banks and can have a severe impact on their reputation.

      While I understand that the resolution of this issue may not significantly affect HDFC Bank, I must inform you that if my funds are not returned, I will be compelled to close my account. As a customer, I expect transparency and fair treatment. If auto-debiting is a service provided by the bank, it is your responsibility to inform customers about the associated charges. The absence of any warning or notification regarding insufficient funds and subsequent charges is concerning and represents a breach of trust.

      Please take immediate action to address this matter, rectify the charges, and ensure that such instances do not occur in the future. I trust that HDFC Bank will investigate this complaint seriously and provide a satisfactory resolution to retain my confidence as a valued customer.

        I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the status of my complaint. Despite filing a complaint regarding the unexpected charges on my account, which I mentioned in my previous communication, I have not received any resolution or satisfactory response from your team. To my surprise, the complaint has been marked as "Solved" without any action taken to address my concerns.

        This situation leads me to believe that HDFC Bank is engaging in deceptive practices by falsely claiming that my complaint has been resolved. I want to emphasize that I have not received any reimbursement or communication from the bank regarding the deducted amount. It is evident that my complaint has not been adequately investigated or addressed.

        As a customer, I have always held HDFC Bank in high regard and have trusted the institution with my financial transactions. However, this incident has severely shaken my confidence in your bank's commitment to customer service and integrity. It is distressing to experience such blatant disregard for customer concerns and to be subjected to dishonest practices.

        I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation.           Ahb chgs inc gst mar2022-mir[protected]
          Im hdfc bank holder since i opened account there is not any deduction after that i have credited my account with 652. Rs then only 6266 is on my account about 651 is deducted for unknown reason this very ridiculous i want my money back or else i will with another bank really unsatisfied with hdfc bank services i also called customer care but they didn't answering me what is this for. Please give my money back

                  This person called me claiming to be an employee of hdfc bank and offers job. And for further process she asked me to paya registration fee of 1500 on a personal account, without giving any authenticated website or portal. I denied for the payment but it threatens me saying legal actions will be taken and have to pay 40000 as panelty. And also I can't work in any MNC's for next 6 years. I actually got scared.

                      I had paid fully my credit card bill on due date morning.
                      I had also received a confirmation sms of due receipt from bank.
                      But still the bank tried to do auto debit and failed, for which they had charged me Rs. 531 and this the second instance

                        When I applied for my current account in the month of May, I had specifically asked Ms. Pooja Chaudhari (her number [protected]) for AD Code while we were sitting with Mr. Vijay (his number [protected]). At that point, she saiid that I'll receive my AD Code in 8-10 days but I haven't received it till now.

                        Despite numerous verifications of my location and multiple called made to both Ms. Pooja and Mr. Vijay. Mr. Vijay told me that he is getting verifications for my AD Code even before he filled the form for AD Code. Then after numerous calls, he called me to his office and filled the AD Code form and till now, their response is that someone's approval is pending.

                        It's amazing that even to fill the AD code form, HDFC require a approval from someone at top management. Great management HDFC! (Slow claps!!!)

                        Mr. Vijay when he visited my business location for verification, had even once gone to length of telling me that the bank is only interested in serving big business customers. Even one video where your senior manager was abusing his juniors was so true because Mr. Vijay had said, "Sir, apka balance acha maintain nai hoga to ye toh pooja ki sar dardi hai...usko problem hogi isse, ye mera issue nahi hai.". If HDFC is not able to cater the needs of small businesses, please mention this on your website and I'll take this matter to social media too if this is not resolved.

                        Since May, it's now July and when I called Mr. Vijay, he asked me to talk to Ms. Pooja and she is not picking my calls and neither replying to my messages.

                        HDFC, your employees gave me wrong information in order to get my account open. Please resolve this issue. Just because your 2 employees had lied to me and gave me wrong information, I had already incurred a loss of more than 750 dollars. This could had been easily reverted if your employees would have given me true information.

                        I tried to contact HDFC bank through their website form and guess what, it's not working.

                        Such a great service provided by the biggest private bank in our country.

                                I have got a personal loan from hdfc bank last month. I have paid my emi through link for this month as my ach mandate form was rejected due to signature mismatch. I got a letter from your side last month, stating that ach mandate rejected. Then i dropped a mail to [protected]@hdfcbank.com. But no one responded.
                                I unable to go to the bank due to personal problem. I need online support to resolve the problem. Please do needful to resolve the problem through online.

                                  I had sent my representative to deposit cash at my home branch (SS Road, Pune). They didnt accept the cash stating that I should be personally present to deposit the cash in my acount. They also suggested my representative to deposit cash in cash deposit machine, even the machine didnt accept the cash. Now, when I am checking my statement, I am seeing that I have been charged Rs. 1180 + GST for depositing cash, "INTER-BRN CASH CHG INCL GST 090523-MIR[protected]".

                                  I just want to know why I have been charges even after they didnt accept the cash?

                                  I want the refund of whole deducted amount including GST.

                                    Hi HDFC Support team,

                                    This is in regard to my account no [protected] which is with HDFC at Aluva branch kerala state. I’m unable to do any kind of debit transactions on my mentioned account, I have notced on June 22 that my account withdrawal is not working, still credit works good. I have contacted bank and they have updated that the account has gone to nodebit status on June 12 2023. But this was never informed from back side via any of communication medium. On requesting the associate she has taken a request and account profile was updated (account was old one which was opened in 2014) and a pysical verification was also done. It is already 10 days after fniishing this procedure. Account is still in the same status and I am not getting a valid update from Bank side. It is really strange that credit to this account works and I am unable to do any debit. The assosiate on bank side is simply telling that they have done very thing from their side.

                                    1. Whom should i contact for resolving the case completely.
                                    2. What was the root cause of the problem that has lead this account to nodebit status
                                    3. Why this status change was not infomed as it is a critical issue.

                                      HDFC Bank — Getting YC error while doing UPI payment. Can't make any payments for the past 6 months even for emergencies.
                                      I contacted the bank regularly and raising this issue. They are saying my UPI is unblocked but when making transactions it is showing my UPI is blocked. Even they are struggling to solve this issue. Totally unsatisfied with HDFC bank
