I went back to the dealer, and he contacted Idea Customer Care - Phone Support.
They asked me to go to the nearest Idea Office.
So I went to the Office at the Below Address.
National Highway 7, Siddanthi, Hyderabad, Telangana 501218
The Representative there said that as per the Siebel Records, it shows that this number was activated on 5th Of September, but was again deactivated on 10th of September, on FC Grounds.
Now this number has been reassigned to some other customer in Kurnool.
How could this happen. I have got no intimation either about Activation or Deactivation.
I have never been able to make any calls.
And how come a number after being deactivated was re-sold in the market without completion of the usual 3 month cycle?
Anyways, the representative at the office asked me to contact the grievance team and explain my story.
I got sick of running around and told him I only wanted to make some progressive moves and not investigate into what went wrong, because by now I had already lost my number.
I asked him to give me a new SIM(any stupid number) as a gesture. At first he was reluctant.
After talking to the Manager(Mr. Naidu, Ph:[protected] and having been through lots of discussion, he agreed to provide the SIM, but asked me to again recharge it with Rs.102/-(I was already at Loss. Not to mention the time, effort & money spent for the Old SIM's Recharge and in running from pillar to post about this issue)
Now, the replacement SIM Number provided is [protected] on 20th of November.
I got a message to call 59059 on my alternate Number again for verification.
I tried a hell lot of times now, but it says that number is invalid.
What's going on with IDEA, are they serious about their business?
I don't think they are going a long way...
I have no good words for them going forward.
I haven't even started using their services and I've been through nothing less than HELL
I need my [protected] Idea Number to be activated.
