Dear Idea Customer Care,

1. I have an idea pre paid connection since last 2 years

2. In Dec 2011, I was messaged that I am required to submit my forms again. I personally went to your outlet at Labbipet, M.G.Road, Vihjayawada -Jan-28-2012 to enquire what the problem was after using the service for 1 year. All that they could tell was that the forms have been asked for again.

3. However, I made fresh forms and again personally submitted them (after the Idea personnel checked the same) at the outlet at Labbipet, M.G.Road-Vijayawada in March-2012.

4. On 0 Mar 2012, I got an starting call of voice stating that my forms were required to be submitted again.

5. I again visited the Idea customer care lot of times but no use

6. I have the following to submit :-

(a) My VOTER ID - xerox copy

(b) My pan card and driving liecence copies are also attached with the application. Both these documents have my photographs and signatures. My forms submitted also have my signatures.


(c) another photo identity (My working Identiti Card)


8. I sincerely request that the validation of my number be done as a special case and undue hardship to me be mitigated.

9. . Looking forward for the excellent services from IDEA - the services that I got all these years.

10. Please confirm ALL CLEAR.

refund not received in bank account
I was trying to recharge my idea Prepaid Mobile No-[protected], through net banking for Rs 50/-.The amount of Rs.50/- has been detected from my account. Bank transaction details as given under.
No Mobile Charged and I have not received any refund till date.

In my last bill, I have been charged wrongly for WAP uses for 100 RS. It has happened in past when I was charged 40 Rs. But I ignored that. . Since I have two phones one without internet capabilities which I use in office , I am sure Idea has charged me wrongly. Also when i called customer care, they told they cant do anything. When I asked to remove the WAP services, they told they cant do that either.
This is cheating by IDEA.

My service provider activate fun to joke services automatically since last 3 month and deducted 30/- every time.
Every time i deactivate this service they activated automatically and when we complaint about it they say you activate it so please try to refund of my balance...

I have an mobile postpaid connection Mob. [protected] from Idea cellular my average monthly usage for years has not ever gone beyond Rs. 1000 but I know companies like Idea are always upto mischief to increase the average customer usage that is by hook or crook. I have received my monthly bill for the month of Mar-Apr 2012 as a whopping Rs. 2700 which is almost five times my average monthly usage. The reason for that, Idea THE CHEATERS would argue that is because of my gprs usage, if my gprs usage had been 1 GB my bill would not have been so large but my usage was 1.6 GB that is 0.6 GB greater than 1 GB but is it right on the part of this company to ask for almost Rs 2000 for 0.6 GB but that is because they work on such strategies to loot customers and anybody can understand that if 1GB costs me Rs. 50 than why is the 0.6 GB so expensive and then I can’t even argue with the company that my usage was not 1.6 GB because they are KING here and we are mere poor human who do not even have any proof to prove their point. Idea knows that if a person is using his mobile phone number for 1 GB then some day he might even use his phone for more usage in some month as that person won’t change his mobile phone number for more usage and than Idea Cellular is going to exploit that person like they want to exploit me in this case. If I am using Idea cellular regularly and if Idea suddenly increases it’s calling rates to 100 times at midnight and I had to make important calls I would have no choice but to use Idea. This clearly is exploitation of customers. How does theses companies get so much of courage to loot customers in day light, because they know that no action would be taken against them by the higher authorities.
Lastly I can only make a request to the authorities that they take action against Idea Cellular and see to it that they charge me appropriately. I know my voice would be much weaker in comparison to THE GREAT IDEA CELLULAR but I still feel we too have some rights in our country atleast to express ourself and that is what I am doing hope to get some result.

I here by want to draw your attention towards the suffering caused due to incorrect bill received from idea telecommunications. i have been using CUG149(corporate plan) of idea in which 200 sms are free per month but i have charged obnoxiously for the smses last month, the total usage of sms is 143(no sms on roaming).

I have found out that they have charged the cost for sms on a spcific day (holi, 8th of last month ).But i am not going to accept it as i was not given any prior information about that from idea through any means, rather when i informed them about that they have told me they have issue it on website. the following is there reply:

We wish to inform you that the details of SMS festive days are specified on our website www.ideacellular.com.

Hence, we are confined to waive off the SMS charges in the invoice dated 1st April 2012 as same are correct.

We assure you the best of our services.

now my question is " is this is the duty of customer o check for such noties and news on company's website now and thn and secondly wat abou if i m not tech savy or internet user? is it fair by any means on their part? this put question on ethics and business standard in our country.

On[protected] I got a message on my Idea prepaid mobile no.[protected] that Rs. 30/- has been deducted towards the subscription against "Mitti ke Rang" from my main balance without my request or without my permission. This happened also in the month of March 2012. Customer care is a bunch of lairs and they always try to say they are right and we customers are wrong. I dont know how to resolve and get my un-authorised deduction credited to my main balance.
I know there is a hight power executive in Airtel to resolve such compalain withing 24 hours and I have got all problem solved and credited all amount if deducted wrongly.......Such Airtel customers.....please write your complain to........[protected]@in.airtel.com
But for Idea Cellular......I do not know whom to write....if any of you know please write me or call [protected]

I MET WITH MY ILLFATE WHEN I OPTED THE IDEA 03 G NET SETTER AND IDEA SIM CARD (MOBILE [protected]) AND GOT IT CHARGED FOR ONE MONTH. FOR 10 DAYS IT WORKED BUT THEREAFTER IT CEASED ITS FUNCTIONING THE REASON TOLD TO ME THE ID ADDRESS PROOF WERE NOT LODGED BY RAIPUR OFFICE OF IDEA. I AGAIN SUBMITTED THE PAPERS AND MAILED THEIR COPIES TO THE CUSTOMER CARE BUT NO ATTENTION HAS BEEN PAID. THE CONNECTION IS NOT RESTORED. THERE IS NO BODY TO HEAR THE COMPLAINT.

with due respect and humble submission i sri subhransu sekhar mishra informed you that i am using[protected]idea celluar services) for a long time. today(dt. 12.04.12) around 5.17 pm when i called my friend i found my call balance was nil which was previously 30/-(thirty rupees only). when i called to 198 customer care center of idea they told me that i recharged a thirty rupees power voucher pack in online on my number[protected] on date 12.04.12 around 2.44pm. but the real fact was i haven't done such recharge in my number. when i told them they argued me and didn't listen me. after a lot of request they took a complain(complain no.:[protected] in idea). i have no faith on them and thats why i need your suitable step to look into the matter such that no such type of mistakes will repeat with others.

On repeated calls made to the customer care, I was told that my BIS services would be activated latest by mid night on Sunday ie 08.04.2012.

As the same was not activated by midnight, I raised a complaint on Monday 09.04.2012

The same did not happen and I called the customer care again in my evening by 8:00:00 PM on 11.04.2012. The customer care executive promised that BIS would be activated in a few hours.

BIS IS NOT YET ACTIVATED!

I request IDEA CELLULAR LTD to kindly look into the matter and avoid such harassment. I've lost out on emails and other allied communication for the no fault of mine which has costed me money and time.

My complaint is,
I am using a Sim card of idea having number [protected] (my brotheer PARVEZ ALAM is using this number), i recharged my account on 24the of march by 100rs and i did calls of not more then 1or 15 rs and due to some reason i went out of town, i took theis Sim card out from my mobile and i was using my up number and on 9the of April when i returned to Delhi and checked my account balance theen i came to know that only 17 rs were theere in my account. I talked to customer care (i talked to Adil, Rahul, Richa, Ravi, Shahnaz from escalations department and one more girl was theere ) theey told me that my number was on and a service was activated on 28the of march. I just want to know that how i can activate a service when my number was switched off. tell me thee reason please.

your last 6 months recharge is less than 200/- please recharge immediately for interrupted service.

there is no any that type of rule but company even ask it for many times.

company not send any warning sms in past.

I have given request for disconnection of my 2G netsetter at Vashi My Idea Centre on 7th April, 2012 but now I find that they have taken it for safe custody. If I talk to customer care I dont get any reponse. I find IDEA services as one of the worst. If go their Sanpada My Idea centre, I dont get any help from them about disconnection.

Please don't buy this product they are one among Cheating Net Service Providers.

1. It was giving speed of 1-5 kbps but it shows a speed of 256kbs (for Rs. 399, Rs 695, Rs 999 recharges)
2. Frequently disconnect from network (I am living in 3+ Idea service area).
3. No proper customer care
4. Dealers have no response when I call. But at the beginning they use to speak more about product.

From last few weeks the Invalid deduction are done in the prepais a/c balance. When I approch towards customer care they are not giving proper answer they told its due to download even though it was observed that downloading was not done for the said period.

Sometime they give some web address & told me just go there & click on unsubscribe your balance deduction will get sstopped but when I visit such site I found that the web address given is incorrect & it isnot working & for some web page if its working then in such web address unsubscribe option is not present.

Now when I told them issue they are disconnecting the call.
Kindy resolve the issue ASAP & I request Idea please train well their customer care department as it was found all people giving different answer for same issue.
