I am haveing a idea 3G data card with double dhamaka plan @ 599/- with 2 GB free data usage.It's No. [protected].I used to recieve a message from idea for my daily data usage on my mobile no.([protected]) and on my data card also.But last 2 weeks i am not getting any updation for my daily data usage.So now i am not aware about my daily data usage.For this i am following to customer care since last 2 weeks but can;t get any satishfactory reply or solution of my complaint.when i got the updation for my data, i managed within free data.If I use more data than the free limit,so I have to pay the amount for the acces data.so i would request you to please look into this matter and do the neeful.

    I am vasanth kumar from from Puttur and my Idia Mobile no is [protected] and i am using this no from 2010 onwards . On 25th of April 2012 Rs 30.00 is Deducted from My mobile account and after that have contacted to idia customer care But they are not responding.but i am not opted any value add service from idai. dont waste my time and money So revert back that deducted amount ASAP

    My self Naveen Sahota & i am newly transferred my no.[protected] Aircel To Idea for better services in 23 nov 2014 but on first day my 70/- approx deduct from my Account due to using Internet without having Internet pack, its not my fault because on first recharge free 50mb data given from your side i used competently & after then i have received message form idea your 50mb data is consumed & then i have stop using Internet.arround 4.45p:m i have received a message from idea in no.of 51985 50mb data is credited in your A/c so keep browsing after that i used Internet again that time i have 70/- approx in my A/c all are deducted.I have calling in Idea customer care in no. of[protected] some one say your Balance will refunded But you wait for some time & next morning i am calling again & have conversation with Daljeet she speaking with me very roudly & say your balance will not refunded to you.At End of this message i want my balance back of Rs.70 at any cost.so plz my sent my balance back i shall be very thankful to you.

    i had recharged my mobile with 550 rs... my balance became 700... next day i checked with the balance it was zero, ... when i spoke with customer care they told no recharge has been done... i told i have proof of that, , , but they didnot responded to my complaint, , ., can u please help me with it... photo of recharge and mail attached... my number is [protected]... they say no recharge was done... that i have attached in mail...

      Here is the list of numbers from which i get automated calls EVERYDAY...

      and some more of the same pattern..
      all with some offers from Idea and stuff. And there's this message from PX-612345 which is also a daily thing. I've registered my number successfully with DND feature(SR no. 1-[protected]) but that hasn't changed anything. The guys at Idea asked me to notify them via message and not a public post which i did(ID 205IC187472) but they've done nothing. If anything, the call frequency has only increased. They are obviously violating TRAI regulations and I hope some action is taken against them soon if nothing is done.

        I have purchased a new sim on 23/04/12 and did the first recharge of FCR 348 as per the person from IDEA who was available at the store in sai mobile,phursungi. He told me this card will get activate within 2 days but still not been activated I have submitted all the required documents on that particular day. Every day they keep me on saying it will get activated today but their is no output. This sim is not working , I am not able to do any topups on it, nor able to use 3g services.Please Suggest me what should I do.

        Hi, I brought new idea sim([protected])with activated zero balance.

        I first recharged with Rs 10 voucher. Amount credited in my account.

        Next recharge I am trying from Idea online recharge but not working, I tried with Rs 52, 31, 20, 14, 176 etc.
        But unable to recharge.

        3G is not showing new sim. I sent 3G activation message but no response. Please sort out my problem.

        very bad customer care
        I have purchased a prepaid SIM mdn no [protected] today having paid Rs.100/- at Idea Cellular Showroom at Brodipet 14th line, Guntur. I was told by the showroom executives that my SIM will be activated by 4.30 pm and upon activation I will get 56 MB data free. I even got a message that i have to contact 59059 for activation.
        Neither I am getting any incoming nor outgoing calls. As I was unable to contact customer care from my SIM, called from another idea no to understand that my SIM will be activated post first/second recharge. Pl advise further
        I have bought a new idea prepaid Sim...it has been activated yesterday, but I'm unable to make a recharge

              Sir,
              I had a prepaid connection of TATA telecom & I switched to idea through MNP in february 2012. That time I was residing on rent in Sector-40 chandigarh and this address was mentioned by me in the form. MNP took 10-12 days. in meantime, I changed my accomodation & shifted in sector-39, chandigarh. At the time of address verification I informed about my new address and address verification was done wrongly by the representative of idea. Company discontinued my number due to wrong verification. After that I submit the proof of new address two times and also called customer care about 15 times but till yet company has not contunued my number.

                since last four days my balance deducting. 1st day i got massage that mobile tv service is activated on my mobile [protected]@Rs 0 for 1 day, i de activate that service but next day i got another massage that the service is renewed @Rs 10 for 2 days and my balance is deduvted by Rs10, agained i de activate but again next day my balance is deducted by Rs 20.

                Idea Cellular — Providing Unwanted service without informing

                I am billed by Idea Cellular for SMS Originating Service 30/- per month to my two numbers without informing me.

                I also have received the confirmation email from Idea that they will not activate this service and still they have activated it. I can give the copy of confirmation email from Idea Cellular.

                I am also victim of idea celluar services prepaid connection mobile no[protected]. The are charging for value added services @ Rs.30/- pm which we never asked to activate. of late they have stopped entertaing the complaint for this problem and senior officer is talking on this issue in customer care.

                Requesting the concerned authorities to look into it.

                IDEA MOBILE — Amount deducted against services that i never registered

                This side is Pardeep Aggarwal, i am using your services from last 1 year. My contact no. is +[protected]

                But Yesterday, 27th May, 2009, at 3:16 PM i got a message from your cellular company as ID-52703 that "Rs. 10 has been deducted from your pre paid account for MunnaBhai Jokes Service", then i checked my Account balance & yes it was deducted.
                The reason i am writing here is that i never registered for this Jokes service & never received any jokes from this service. Last month also it was deducted.

                My complaint is that when i have never registered to this Munnabhai Jokes services then how the amount is deducted from my account.

                Do look into this matter & want to hear soon from your side.

                I REPORTED THE COMPANY THAT I CANT DOWNLOAD ANY THING BUT COMPANY DEDUCT 50RS ON MY A/C BUT THERE ARE NO RESPONCE.

                Idea — deducting balance

                respectedsir,
                i m consumer of idea cellular services.i have to tell abt my prblm against the idea cellular services.
                3 times my balance have been deducting by idea.3 month ago idea deducted 170rs. when i ask the reason ofof deducting the balby ideacare. thier answer is that i have send request for idea tv. but i dont give any request for idea tv. then on 31/7/2009 the msg came frm idea that(thanks for subcribing mobile radio yrs request in process) when i read this msg i immediatly call ideacare abt this fake sms they told me that there is no requst of mobile radio frm my no.then after half an hour rs30 bal deducted frm my ph.after askimg to idea the reason given by idea that i send a request of mobile radio.this time i dont send any request to mobile radio.
                this is cheating by idea among customer .
                this is my humble requst to look into matter otherwise thier is no option other than consumer court.this my right and i will fight against this harresment.
                i dont want to injured the the goodwill of idea limited so pls look into this matter.
                i hope u look into this matter and give me suitable ans...

                From past few days, I feel that my balance is getting deducted automatically. I checked it & found myself correct. It contunued for nearly 15-16 days.
                When I contacted IDEA Customer care & complain about it, they just refused to hear my complain. They asked me to get the call details from their Office & then verify it.
                I went to IDEA office (CP, New Delhi) on 21-Oct-2009 to get the call details. I receive a ref number[protected] by message on 24-Oct-2009, and they promise me to provide these details by 29-Oct-2009.
                But I am still waiting for my call details.
                Pleas help me, what should I do now? Can I take any legal action against company's irresponsible attitude, and not listening to their customer proper;y.

                Idea Cellular Ltd — Balance Deduction

                Yesterday i recharge my idea no-[protected] with 30 Rs. & after recharge my making 2 or 3 calls yesterday , today 2 calls after calling balace ok found , but mornning my 10 rs balace deduct my balance from my no. no any infomation me.
                THE COMPANY HAD DEDUCTED NO ONE TIME BUT TWO TIME AGAIN AND AGAIN WHEN I TOLD TO CUSTOMER CARE HE REPLIED NOTHNG CAN BE POSSIBLE ABT THE COMPLAIN AND AVOID TO LODGE THE COMPLAIN.
                FIRST TIME HE DEDUCTED RS 15 (12.01.10)FOR UTV MUSIC STORE AND WHEN I REQUEST TO DE ACTIVE THE SERVICE HE AGAIN ACTIVATED A NEW VALUE ADDED SERVICE DAILER TONE AND REDUCE 30 AGAIN (14.01.10).
                WHAT CAN I DO DONT UNDERSTAND

                I am Idea prepaid cutomer.

                I have to connect customer care from yesterday around 9 PM ..still it is not providing me sufficient knowledge of my balance deduction of about Rs.60 without my knowledge. This deduction had made on 11/04/10 without any kind of service activation.
                But when I complaint this at customer care then every officer is providing me different kind of information, which is not true.
                This is really wasting my valuable time and also irritating ......


                My problem is that they have deducted my balance without any kind of service by me and second they are providing me wrong information.

                But today from evening I am trying to connect with care but their is busy. Please provide me right information.

                This Emails Is about My complaint for Deduction of my main Balance By Rs.325 on the name of GPRS services.

                On 6th of may 2010 Idea Cellular services has deducted my Account balance by Rs. 325 on the name of gprs services being provided to me but such kind of services was not enjoyed by me and instead you must also look into the matter that as I am a professionalm, educated and literate man so if i would have tio use GPRS services I would have rather activated the Gprs scheme for RS.25 per day for unlimited use and would not have wasted Rs.325.

                Other facts that would be of high concerned:
                1. Gprs servioces were deactivated.
                2. only hotspot browser setting were configured to be active on my blacberry stiorm.
                3. Wpuld have rather Activated An GPRS scheme if I would have to Use GPRS for Such long time.

                This is either an iternal error problem or there is surely some manipulations going on in the company and the company is trying to cheat with the customers.

                The company on this kind of situations need to to trust the customers otherwise the customers would not to be able to trust the company and would rather get frustated with these sought of irresponsilble and fraudulent behaviour and would be left with no othr option but to change the service proivder.


                Hope you take this matter seriously and would revert the wrong deduction done and be fair and justifiable to your profession.


                Hoping for justice from such a reputed company and would expect this kind of behaviour would not be repeated again.

                sir i am rajneesh pushker i using a cell phone connection idea cellular pvt ltd in my number they activate a dialer tone on 22 august 1:00 in night i do not give any type of response to activate a dialer tone but they just unusual way activate a dialer tone any talk to two to three customer care vikash and abhay but they people do not even lodged a complain about this so i am very much depressed by this day to day activity by phone company i also want to say i recharge the cell phone by 98 for using internet 84 MB per day they people never give any information about how much data left in account and two to three days balance deduct from my account my cell number is [protected] this number is on rajneesh pushker name so i want to say please check this type of problem which is face by customer on a daily basis they deduct balance from account

                Sir,

                I have a prepaid connection with Idea Cellular Services. My number is [protected]. I purchased this connection nearly 8 month ago and since then, I have lost most of my balance because of their Value-Added Services deduction which I never subscribed and have even complained to them to cut off if subscribed by mistake. The services they are charging me for 15 rs for devotional portal and this is deducted every 10-15 days. I have lodged a complaint. Please look into this matter at earliest.

                Everyday Rs. 5 is being deducted from my idea prepaid account.When i contacted customer care it says that i have activated some contest. I had never activated such stupid contest because IDEA is a big fraud.Under the name of these contests it loots money from consumers.

                I want my balance back else i will wait for mobile portability and i will drag it consumer court. There they will have to pay me more than what they expect.

                I am 100% sure they won't give me my balance back because they are professionals who don't have ethics.
                Idea one of the worst service provider I ever seen, My number is Prepaid [protected], I just dialed *333# and its automatically activated number of services without any confirmation. I called to customer care to deactivate all the services but next day i renewed my services again and deducted amount.

                Idea Cellular — Balance Deductions on my new IDEA connection

                this is regarding my new IDEA connection i obtained on 2nd jan 2011.
                the new sim cost me Rs.50. the retailer provided me with Rs.40 initial balance along with a gprs pack valid for 30 days containing 50mb.
                on 18th jan 2011 around 10.30 Rs.35 was deducted from my balance...On enquiry the customer care said that the charges were levied for gprs usage..whereas my usage still stands within 50mb. On checking the used gprs it shows 31mb.
                while i requested to file a complaint with the idea consumer helpline they refused to lodge a complaint.
                i would hereby like to bring to the notice via your forum to get my complaint lodged and provide me with the necessary remedy. such scrupulous offers tend to lure customers and they fall prey into such money minting schemes. I would hereby request to look into this matter and stop such vicious offers.

Then automatically disconnect my line again i was call another executive his name was {Prosenjeet mukharjee }at 10.27 pm and telling same problem he was doing very bad behaviour with me and when i told him that i wanted to deactivate idea line and wanted to know porting process then again he was hold my numer continuing 38 min 51 sec.he tell me that i am intentionally doing this.i was sure that i am not activate this facility..another thing i was send DND through massage in 6 mounthes ago but it is not activate..

                I have recharged Rs. 98 Plan on 01/08/2011 in my mobile no. [protected] from my mobile balance (Dial *150*98#). After that Rs. 98 has been deducted from my mobile no. [protected] and a SMS is received form Idea communicaton that "your gprs plan has been activated suceesfully". But on 02/08/2011 i Rs. 275 has been deducted from my mobile for GPRS USE. According the Rs. 98 plan there should be no charges deducted from my mobile.

                I gives the information to coustmer care executive on telphone & also mailed the complaint but noting response give by the idea cellular ltd. Coustmer care ex. is also confirmed that Rs 98 has been deducted & GPRS Plan has been activated on 01/08/2011.

                But regarding deduction of Rs. 275 no action has been taken by the Idea Cellular Ltd.

Then i have started using GPRS services only in browsing & surfing applications. And when my bill came , they have added amount of 255.90/-Rs for GPRS Usage. I have visited to their Office at Nashik & talked to Customer care Officer their , but he told that their is no meaning of such kind of massages and told me that in massage only download was free not browsing . I told him that browsing & surfing are a part of download ,but he did not get agree. And told me that u have to pay for the whole bill. Then i told him that Why do you send such kind of fake massages to customers that create misconception to them, then he replied that it is customer's fault not ours & customers should verify these massages before going to use them otherwise there is no meaning of such massages. Now i have paid that amount but i want through Cunsumer complaint that there must be some action on the Company otherwise in every case Customer is the only sufferer.

                I had done a recharge on my no [protected] of rs19(internet voucher) from idea portal on 1 sep at mid nit 12.30 am. which was shown successful, and i got a conformation message in mid night 1 am that i got 300 MB data usage. On the same day i have access the net n my balance is cont. to deduct which i seen on next day i.e. on 2nd Sep. when i call customer care about this the told that the plan was not activated on your no. n the deduction was right.
                N i have to lost me almost rs 80 as a surfing charge for which i got the conformation msg that the recharg was successful. Now the company is saying that the charges were right n cannot n refunded. i want my full refund which i had lost in surfing on 1st of sep.

                On 19th of December I received a message that I have been activated for a dating chat service and saying that they deducted money from my account when I called the customer care up and asked them why has the service been activated when I hadn't done any such thing the customer care executive "SHIVKUMAR" was not at all co-operative and he also told me that I had activated it a month ago and it was activated now. This is not the first time the IDEA network service provider has deducted the balance from my account. I had lot of experience earlier with hit.

                Idea cut my balance at 16th april 10:30pm .
                I call idea customer and telling my balance deduction problem they said their system is down and call after 4hrs .

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                My mobile balance is deducted without informing me. I dont know which service they have activated on my mobile. When I made complaint to customer service center they have disable all extra service for my mobile.


                But they have not refunded my money which is deducted by them. Aproximately they have deducted Rs. 25 - 30 from prepaid mobile.
                They can check the record that I have not made any request to activate any service from my mobile directly or indirectly.

                Idea Cellular — Balance is deducted without informing me about any service activated

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                Inspite of my last complaint about deducting near about Rs. 25/35 my balance money from my mobile [protected] without informing me again they have deducted about Rs.10 from my mobile for the service which I have not requested to start.

                I am fade up with IDEA CELLULAR service. I want to discontinue with Idea services in the future from right now.

                My request is to look into this matter immediately and pay back atleast Rs.35/- (Idea Celluar : please calculate right amount since last four week for any services which you have activated) to me.
                Also I don’t need any services from your company.

                Your service is awkward, your customer service center are . Please disconnect my services and return me money back.

                On 23/02/2012 any 'did you know' service was activated on my cell ([protected], service provider idea) without my consent and 30 rupees were deducted. However a sms was sent to me that the service is activated and 30 rupees are deducted and to deactivate it do this, but at that time since neither i checked that sms nor my balance and hence i did not come to know about this deduction. Same happened at 20/03/2012 when this 'did you know' service was renewed at the cost of 30 rupees and conveyed through a sms on my cell. Again since neither i checked that sms nor my balance and hence i was unaware about all the deductions. However the service was activated on my cell phone but i was unaware that this is taking cost of 30 per month. Same thing happened at 04/04/2012 and as usual i was unaware because of not checking the conveying sms or my balance. One sms is in my inbox dated 20/04/2012, in which they are conveying that 'did you know' service will be activated in 3 days at the cost of 30 rupees per month, to deactivate do this and again they renewed it deducting 30 rupees and conveyed it through sms on 23/04/2012. Another sms dated 20/05/2012 says that service will be renewed in 3 days at the cost of rupees 30 per month and to deactivate do this and then when the very first time i checked my balance which was very low i checked all sms carefully and i came to know all about these deductions. I complaint to customer care and said them to deactivate all services for lifetime, my complaint no was 1-[protected], but this complaint was not resolved. As a result when i again recharged my cell with a balance of 14 rupees, they deducted 10 rupees for renewing 'did u know' service on 09/06/2012 without a prior notice. I again complaint them today on 09/06/2012 and my today's request no is 1-[protected], however this complaint is resolved but the customer care officer (male) told me that my 10 rupees amount will be refunded. I waited but the amount was not refunded. I again called customer care at the same day; this time the customer care office (female) told me that the previous customer care officer did not file any refund complaint on my number [protected]. Because of them i have lost my 130 rupees balance yet. I request you to please take immediate action against them and refund me my 130 rupees balance. I have all sms in my inbox.

Atik Sayyed told me that they don't have details about the same, so i asked him to transfer the call to Manager then he said no manager is available on the floor which is wrong thing, after insisting he transfer the call to one another guys whos name is Sunil Jadhav, but while talking to him i understand that he cant be a manager because even he cant speak english... he put me on the hold for approximate 20-25 mins... is this the cm service IDEA is providing ????

                IM using idea sim from 3 years... they had one old internet pack called simply enjoy worth 50/Month.Everyday 1 and half rupees used to be deducted as per plan.I used it for approx 1 and half year..after that, they stopped the plan..but they kept on deducting balance I.E 1 and half rupees everyday since 1 year approximately even though the service was stopped...
                I have called customer care atleast 4-5 times a week since then, but to no avail.. they say they will forward to supervisor, I have spoken to about 10 supervisors, everytime they say we know your problem, will personally handel your number with technical team and all and your problem will be resolved within 48 hours..but balance deduction didnt stop..some people respond so harshly, and everytime I call, I have to tell the whole story from start..
                they asked me to message to some numbers, I DID everything but no solution...once they refunded 25 rs but they said they are unable to deactivate the service..IM fed up of calling them again and again...ive lost approx 600-700.IM thinking of porting my number.. but I want to know y this problem wasnt solved..kindly help

                I made a complaint on 31st jan...
                the company told to give response within 48 hrs..
                But no result came till now...

                I am Bowan ray I have idea sim in which I got proper service till last month but from previous 2 weeks they are deducting my idea account balance as 5 Rs or 10Rs in a day without any notification .
                When I asked to the customer care they told me for some days that they unable retrieve any data of my idea account and every time told me to call 6 hours later but when I call again to customer care then again they the same process fot ignoring me to give the proper information about four days passed like this but they didn't provided me the information.
                I am not understand ing that why them are deducting my precious balance if they they are deducting the balance atleast they should provide the notification message.
                And today the biggest of the biggest of them. i have activated my idea train 2g internet pack of rupees 25 I got the conformation message of that it is of 500mb and valid for 7days after surfing about 45minutes or one hour of net access I was unable to surf anymore then I switched off my android turned it on and reconnected to internet but am facing that problem till now then I checked my data balance it said that you haven't have any data pack activated then I again called customer care then told me that you haven't had 2rs of balance to access the net but that doesn't have mattered for my surity I have recharged my account with rs 10 after that I have tried to connect to the internet but the same problem was happening to me I am getting tiered out of this .
                So this is my humble request to you that please help me .

                    I have purchased Idea Sim under Corporate Plan 2 weeks back and since the first day of activation .. I am facing issues ON NUMBER [protected]

                    The number got activated with Unlimited GPRS pack @ Rs 99. However, with only 1 hour o[censored]sage .. The unbilled amount shown in system was Rs 1286 .. against the credit limit of Rs 750. I had not called anyone and had used gprs only after confirmation from Idea Employees (customer care & Company Coordinator) . However, I am being told that the gprs charges will be added in unbilled amount and if i want to use the GPRS ... I have to deposit amount .. So it comes to Rs 20, 000- Rs 30, 000 .. I am being charged Rs 1286 for 130mb usage( usage -i check from android software in my phone) . All these things were not informed while purchasing the sim and customer care is uneducated. They dont have any details .. and i am getting multiple calls everyday for payment o[censored]nbilled amount. Idea cannot justify why they are asking for money even if GPRS PACK WAS ACTIVE .. The customer care is of no use. They are just asking for money instead of resolving my issue. I tried calling them , they denied escalating my call to senior. ,...

                    I was told that there is no deposit for this postpaid number .. but y this company is asking for money?.. I have dropped 3 mails since last week ... and there is no reply.

                    Last time i had problems with reliance .. and they were immedietly resolved. .. where as .. idea is defending that customer has to deposit money to start using gprs.. THIS IS CHEATING .. Y WE WERE NOT INFORMED EARLIER...


                    MY APPEAL TO EVERY ONE HERE IS .. NOT TO GO FOR IDEA POSTPAID NUMBER.. THEY PROMISE YOU SOMETHING AND U WILL REALISE THAT YOU WERE ACTUALLY BEEN CHEATED BY COMPANY ..NCE U RECEIVE THE SIM .. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH IDEA.

                      i am rajeev jain , and i am idea gsm user (number : [protected]), around 45 days back i received a promotional call from idea to change my number from prepaid to postpaid and i agreed for the same and after 2 days an idea executive came to my home for collecting related documents. and told me it will be done in 2 days , since then from around 40 days my number is not working. i made a complaint to idea customer care many times but everytime they say its under processing, i even made a complaint to idea appellate authority (on [protected]) he told me to change my sim , i have done that also, but my problem remain the same , my number is not working , i even called noida idea executive mr sameer ([protected]) he said he can't do anything its idea outlet problem , i called idea outlet executive mr parashar ( [protected]) he said we are working on it , its now 40 days and my number is not working. please look into this matter ,

                        I am Prepaid customer of IDEA since last few years. My Mobile no. is[protected]. There was a scheme from Idea to recharge with 39 and get I2I 10ps. for 60 days which I had activated round about on 29 or 30th March, 20 days ago.

                        But today suddenly the scheme was deactivated without any reason or notification. I have already complained to the customer care many times but no positive response.

                        They replied that the scheme was of 21 days. What a FRAUD, CHEATER & BETRAYED company.

                        They just gave scheme for attraction but there service reputation is very down. Now I felt that the ad. of TATA DOCOMO is absolutely correct.

                        I realised that VODAFONE and AIRTEL is mush BETTER, FAITHFUL and TRUSTED company compared to this one.

                          I have a received a call(24/04/2012 at 11.15.am) from[protected] who told me she is speaking from idea cutomer care,
                          she told me about trial package of idea talkies call on 51010,that is 200minutes free,after that you can subscribe if you wish,
                          then i eager to know what is the idea talkies,i just dialed 51010 for free package of 200 min and listen just 45 second.
                          After 15 min i received a msg from idea that "Thank you we have received your req for service imitst and it is being processed"
                          After that my balance has been deducted from RS30.

                          I would like to tell you,that lady was convinced me in wrong way or she delivered wrong msg to cutomer.
                          After that i complained to customer care but they were not ready to take my complain.
                          Dear team pls check your recorded msg as mentioned above or conversation between me and lady.

                          My spouse namely Mrs Moni Kuntala Upadhyaya is using Idea Celluler bearing Mobile No. [protected]. Initially the service provided by service provider was good. But now the trend of Idea is to cheat common people and earn revenue. There were so many instances for which I lebelled the service provider as cheater.

                          The Idea is cheating people by sending SMS e.g. VCRADIO pack activated free for 7 days. To deactive send SMS to No....... And if you failed to send SMS then another SMS will appear stating "Thank you for activating VCRADIO pack for Rs. 7 & validity 7 days." This is only one small example. Earlier many occasion the Idea deducted amount from my spouse mobile and after lodging complaint the same has been credited later on.

                          Through this site I want to remind Idea Cellular to restrain from deduct amount from prepaid mobile without verbal consent from the customer.

                          Now I want Rs. 7/- deducted from Mobile No. [protected] on 11.01.2011 to be refunded immediately and if any further deductions are made without consent (not just sending SMS ) then I will compel to lodge complaint to TRAI for take necessary action against the service provider.

                            I have taken an IDEA NETSETTER data card in January with the package details of 750Rs(850/- with 100/-discount for first 6 months) charges for 7GB monthly usage.
                            For feb and march i recieved 750/- bill and paid the same.
                            On 10th april 2012 afternoon, i got a message on that idea no. that i have used up 6.1GB of data for the current billing cycle. After that, considering usage on 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th(14 and 15 i was out of town), bill was generated on 15th April as :
                            - Data usage of 12.4GB (i havent used 6GB in 4 days !!) even if i had crossed the usage limit.. it would have been 7.5GB !
                            - Usage charges=2600. Total amount due = 3700 !!!!!

                            I sent an email to karnataka customer care for Idea and they tell me that nothing went wrong with the billing process.

                              i missed my mobile with idea connection ([protected]) on last week.
                              immediately i bought a duplicate SIM and submit my ID proof, in that
                              showroom seller told that the no.active within 8hrs. But till now (6
                              days) my mobile didn't activate.
                              in your customer care said that many more reasons. When i called to
                              cus.care the call picked by new person and give the surety of 2 hrs, 8
                              hrs, 8 days, 2days, and three persons told to contact the idea seller.
                              afterwards i called to cus.care with the seller mobile and they talk
                              to each other then the seller told that with in monday it'll activate.
                              but controversy of your cus.care executives, i suffered a lot.They
                              told one by one reason at every time called by me.
                              this no. is my business no. if this problem will not cleared by you.
                              i surrender / change of service of my 3 more idea numbers.

                              Am pon prakash From Karur TamilNadu, i have planned to Change my portability from Videocon to Idea and applied at karur IDEA prepaid dealer .                                   I am using Idea Postpaid Connection [protected]. Idea is barred my number because i am unable to pay this month bill but i agree to pay total two months bill in next month with late payment fee.

                                  hello Idea Cellular,
                                  Regarding this Complaint I hav to inform you that. this barring is not regarding the no bill payment. Idea will closed my number without any information and when I visit to your my idea showroom there i can got that i hav complained that my mobile has been lost. but i can give any complain like this. in that complain no alternate no. is there.

                                  I am 2 years old Idea(981******) consumer of Delhi Circle.

                                  Some one had just requested to idea custumer care to sim lost barring i.e. fraud said that i have lost my number and requested to barred that number (989******). Although I have never lodged such kind of complain in any idea customer care.

                                  I am sure some one just want to cheat/fraud me so he want to barred/block my number.

                                  Regarding that i called repeatedly in idea customer care but unfortunately no one there to listen me they just said "you had lodged a complain so your number will be barred from 2-july 2013". I said verify my details i never lodged any such complain.. some one is cheating me... but dint hear me... although i was calling from same number and i can give any details but they never hear back.

                                  dear customer your request for sim lost barring is registered and would be actioned by 07/02/13 5:00 pm. sr no. 1-359*********.")

                                        Respected sir/madem, i use idea services as my mobile provider. A few days before i requested for mobile number portablaity. Last day i.e. 19/04/2012 i recived a call from idea cellular. He asked me to recharge my own no. [protected] with a special recharge of Rs.19. By which i would get reduced call charges i.e. 1p/2s for 90 days on local network. I made this recharge last night but by morning also i not got benifit. When i called customer care they told that you will be charged 30p/min. And this scheme is also for just 10 days. They cheated me. This is not first time they did this many times before also. My cell no. Is [protected]. I hope you will make right judgement now.
