I am very disappointed with the support & services idea cellular is providing in MP. Recently I was transfered from Mumbai to Bhopal, I took the postpaid connection (Corporate 199 plan) which has CUG calling free within the group. The corporate sales person was very nice, however the real problem started once i signed the documents.
The connection was activated after 5 days, and after a week my connection was barred without informing me, the reason sited (Once I called the customer care) was "Verification failure". I was told to reach out to the Idea office for any further assistance and my complaint was not registered. I spoke to the sales person from whom I had taken the connection and I was assured that it will be resolved by the end of the day. My point over here is, how can one activate a connection (which took 5 days) without completing the process & formalities? Also, how can one barr a number after 7 days of actiavtion siting this reason as verification failure once the number was activated?
My services were restored however by the end of the day. The real pain starts now, my first bill was generated (Rs. 120, on pro-rata basis) and i had paid Rs 500 (I always make the payment in round figures). I was pretty satisfied with the services, after almost 20 days i was informed by my business partners that my connection was not working when they tried reaching me, i discovered that one fine day Idea had barred my number again! When i called the call centre i was told that it was due to verification failure (After almost 25 operational days, 1st bill generated & paid) which i fail to understand how is it possible. I had to contact the sales person who was not reachable at the moment, it's almost 24 hrs and my services have not been restored!
I am a working professional and any such instance hampers my business, i am clueless as i don't have the bandwidth to locate and go to the Idea office in Bhopal. This is very disappointing, the worst part is for cancellation also i will have to go to the office and complete the paper work, however with other service providers one can complete the formalities on the web. I am feeling cheated, i don't know where to register my complaint now, call centre people can not help me, i can't go to the Idea office due to my busy schedule, this is very very disappointing. I am going to suggest the management team of my office to switch to some other service provider. I have lost faith in Idea providing good customer service & having potential to run the business successfully. This is complete business failure and I don’t understand what is the middle/senior management doing for this, now the market has new players, I am very sure Idea is going to loose a big chunk of customers to the competitors. This is a wake up call for the management team, I hope someone will read and action on this.
For me, I have decided to switch to another telecom player, have lost faith in Idea! This was not expected of Idea!

Idea Net Setter — cheating on services
sir,i took the idea net setter 3 months ago on the terms of providing uninterrupted services.my account no is 1.18270165 and my cellular no is [protected]. as per the terms first month was free so i didnt received any bill and from the second month they without informing me cut the connection and i got it back after a hell lot of struggle on 8th nov... then the agent mr. mehul promised me that from next month this wont happen and again in this month for three days i.e from 25 th till 27th yesterday evening it remained closed. and now he is not meeting me and after complaining they said that its your computer problem. now today it is working on the same laptop ???? how can that be???? yesterday when i asked them that i will complain about it to consumer forun they said u can we dont have any prob but the service will be as it is... so now after making an investment of 2500 rs what should i do ????
pls suggest me
