My Idea sim incoming and outgoing both services not working it has been more than 40 hours,even i am not able to call to customer care using this sim.
I am really fed up with following up, other Sims(vodafone) are working fine in my hand set
Costmer care persons just waistng time earlier they were saying it will be resolved withn 24 hours max but it has been more than 36 hours to made this commiunication
I have called more than 10 times to customer care from other sim(vodafone)
Cutomer care persons just saying this is Technical probelem from their side,they have forwarded this communication number to technical department it will be resolved soon.
I have informed this issue on Friday night arount 8 :00 PM.Instead of complaint number they have given me following communication number.

How can a customer make difference between their technical words communication number and complaint number.After 10 calls to customer care today mornig on Sunday they are saying it was only communication number not
Complaint , they can raise a complaint from their side and again it can take more than 36 hours it will be resolved till tomorrow 8.00PM.
Do you think a technical problem from idea should take more than 72 hours to resolve?

Vodafone sim is working fine in my hand set is their any problem in this idea number or please tell me should I change this Ideaa sim, I used Vodafone sim around 2 years but never faced any problem

11th Jan-2010 - Requested for my Bill Plan to be changed against the Communication Id : 94496450, from Corp 100/- p.m. to Economy 199/- p.m.+. This was to be done in the next 24 Hrs as per your executive.

20th Jan 2010 - Bill Recieved. No Plan Changed. Called up the Customer Care and your executive promised to change the Plan. Also, your executive requested the bill to be paid as the amendments will be done innext Bill. Bill Amount Paid.

1st Feb 2010 - Called up Customer Care and requested for Plan Change Again.

3rd Feb 2010 - Called up Customer Care and plan changed confirmed by your executive.

7th Feb 2010 - Purchased an Add-On Connection and requested the plan of Econonmy 199+ on the same.

8th Feb 2010 - Number got activated on Corp 100 plan and your executive confirmed that Bill Plan is Corp 199 on both the numbers.

17th Feb 2010 - Got a response from Idea against a mail that my plan on both the numbers is Economy 199+ and my Add On Connection is a Seperated number now. Call Charge between the two numbers is not 10paise per min as promised.

20th Feb 2010 - Bill Generated with plan Changed but no reversal of charges. Called up your Customer Care and they requested the bill to be paid and amendments will be done in the next bill.

24th March 2010 - I requested the Bill to be forwarded to my mail ID and again Complained about the Bill Issue. Exectuvie from your customer Care confirmed I will get a response by 26th March.

26th March - Recieved a Call from your Executive to Confirm that Something in being done by Higher Deprtment about my bill and I will get a response by 30th March.

30th March - I called up your Customer Care and was informed that proceedings are on. I will get a call by 1st April. My number was barred due to non-payments of Bill.

3rd April - I called up your Customer Care and your 1st executive confirmed that Charges of 114/- were revrsed but he was not able to clarify wether it was the bill Amendment or charges against Advance I had paid to purchase an Add-On Connection. The Call was transfered to a Supervisor who gave a blunt response and Said that I can write the Ids I am writing to, to register my complaint.

NOW, I am a customer to Idea from last 2+ years with same number, you people had also created a mess eith my account in Nov. 2008 that was ultimately cleared after Several Mails in Feb 2009. Your people at Customer Care hangup the phone or put us on hold and never Come back.


1. I will never pay the bill until it is amended from 11th Jan and explained to me. Also, the charges to be waived for the month from 11th Jan'10 to 28th Feb'10.
2. I want an apology in writing for your behaviour and all the time I have wasted and Calling you.
3. This is my last and Final correspondence/communication to Idea. After this, Its your call on it.
4. If this matter remains unresolved and thebill unpaid, then DARE YOU GIVEMY DETAILS TO THIRD PARTY FOR MONEY EXTRACTION. I WILL SUE FOR MENTAL HARRASMENT.


You have two week's time to revert to me from today's date.

[protected] from Idea Cellular. my comaplaint is this idea celllar deduct my account balance any time and wihout any information. i have been facing this problem for last 3 months. i have already complaint 3 or 4 times. Even on contacting Customer care says sorry for that sir. next time will be not this thing. but condition are same. nobody take a action regarditn this problem , and now i have fretreted.

i had taken an idea sim (no ;[protected])on11/03/2010,got it activated on the same day.but now the service deactivated even after id proof submission
please take some prompt action to activate the sim service

Sir i m using the idea prepaid connection from last 3 or 4 years back([protected]).sir my sim has been lose.and i give complaint in police station.i waste lot of money and time for a complaint.today i hv a copy of FIR.but idea company is saying we can not re issue this nmber too u..bcz usage is very less..and we hv nt usage records of your nmbr...first of all idea company just attend the post paid customers..nt pre paid.idea company is directly angaist of orders of indian govt.bcz i hv dat documents.where stamps are available of different govt institutes.pls gv me the solution of this..!

i am gurparatap singh a resident of khanna city , on 2/4/2010 i went to idea cellular office of khanna for a postpaid connection [protected] for which i gave a valid id proof and rupees 315/- connection activation fee. on 3/4/2010 i was informed that the connection has been sold to another person and i was offered a new connection number against my choice. i stongly complaint against the corrupt idea cellular khanna office.

I have purchase a IDEA no. [protected]. the services of my number has been temporarily on hold since 27.03.2010 due to non deposit of document & Photo, i have been deposit my documents and photo on 29.03.2010 into SRL Infocom ( Authorized Idea Office) Zone I Bhopal (M.P.)

but they are not responding anything to me that why number is not working

Hi Sir,
I would like to inform you that now a days IDEA company disturbed the customer by cutting charges with their own not refunding them with a specific particular time , which they promised to customer..They increased their time from 24 hour to one month & IDEA company is not solving the problem.like ME. Firstly they call to me & told that It is free service ( idea net service) ( misleading or misguiding call )
but after that they deduct my balance 20 rupees. & I call to customer care & deactivated the service but they again deduct my balance up to three days..amount to 80 rupees..
& not refunding me ..please sir help to solve my problem , i am getting very disturbed. complain no :- 1-[protected] & 1-[protected]

& sir my DND service is already activated but still i received calls & Messages from IDEA company.

my idea prepaid sim card is not working properly.so i have gone to replace sim card at kharadi,pune.idea service center have told me charges of RS 110/- for replacing a sim card.its a huge amount than other company like airtel takes 25 RS for the same cause.idea must reduce charges for sim card replacement

There is been a tremendous trouble created to me by an Idea Number ([protected])....
There are continuous calls @ night time and also vulgar messages sent . Its been a Month since this trouble . Whenever i call that person doesnt speak at all but always sends me Vulgar messages...
Pls be quick in taking reaction against that number .. Hope to get your reply as soon as possible.

I have received a call from representative regarding IDEA TV on cell. Repeatedly I told that I am informed that I am not interested in it. But to my badluck I have cpncented for the same. Immediately Rs.150/- has been debited to my card. I have received a call from your delhi office regarding connectivity of TV chanels. I told that chanels can't be connected on my cell. Thereafter I send message to 4444 informing that I am unable to see the chanels hence disconnect the facility and refund the amount charged to my card. Surprisingly without refunding the charges again on 1/4/2010 Rs.150/- has been debited to my account. When I am not using the facility how you have debited the charges to my account?
I once again request you to refund the amount immediately by crediting to my card under intimation to me if not doen I will approach consumer forum for further action in the matter.

Also discontinue promotional calls to my number immediately.

I expect action and reply from you at the earliest.

but 28 Feb it blocked by some address verification problems...

Hi,
My name is priyadarshini acharya.last Monday,i complained to idea head office,pune regarding the problem (outgoing barred) in my number.
I was communicated by Mr. Shahbaaz([protected]) that my verification got failed (absenteeism from the address while doing address proof verification) hence outgoing is barred.
Later on he assured that once again verification is done ,my number will get activated within 2 days..he told me that verification will be done on Thursday 25th mar,2010.
However nobody show up that day...since then i am getting "INVALID SIM" error on my idea number...Thanks for this..now i am unable to get incoming calls too.
From that day onwards,i have been trying hard to call[protected] & Mr shahbaaz...(from temporary number)..but nobody is picking up the phone.
Please let me know when will i get the privilege to get incoming/outgoing calls & number will get activated..
Thanks a lot for your lovely support ...that u people have been showing with sincere efforts since last week.to me!!!

i want my money back as the idea net setter is not working properly. the warranty period is not over. what should i do if they do not replace it?

I have given my ID proof, two photograph and 400/-rs cash to have a postpaid plan, similarly i was told, within 48 hours to activate the SIM, which was provided by the Executive,
Now since 10 days there is no information abt the SIM activation, also my ID can be missuse by the IDEA.
