Poor behavior and demand of money from conductor of Bus: 16/11/2014, Trip Code 2247BNGCHN, Bus No - KA -538, AC sleeper. Due to some booking mistake instead of selecting Electronic City as boarding point, I selected Shanti Nagar. On receiving crew details I called crew that my female friend would be able to board from Electronic city. I was affirmed that there wont be any issues with it. So we waited at Electronic City. After my friend boarded the bus, the conductor started scolding and after some time he demanded money. To avoid arguments she had to give. I want to bring this to your notice that this is very serious issue of harassment of passengers. Had this situation continue I would be left with no other option but to select private providers who can take action on their crew. Please take proper action by some warning to crews that they dont do these cheap behavior. I would look forward for some action. I would wish better experience in future so that I dont escalate it.     I booked 2 tickets having PNR number J46371501 & J46403975 amounting to Rs.1912 and Rs.1208 respectively. I had recieved a mail stating that the ticket has been cancelled and the amount after applying cancellation charges which amounts to Rs.1040 and Rs.942 will be refunded within 7 working days.I've waited for 7 working days and then i've sent mails to [protected]@ksrtc.org but didn't get any reply. I've tried calling the customer care numbers and i don't seem to get a reply from them as well. I want my refund amount to be credited as soon as possible.     Now getting fake calls from fraudulent people using these details here and asking for my bank account details saying that they work for KSRTC.
    Is this consumer complaints forum or something else?.

    Now getting fake calls from fraudulent people asking for bank account details saying that they wok for KSRTC.

      Sir We took 2 full ticket from Thrissur to Chalakudy on 14/11/2014 at 18.33 hrs in the KSRTC bus with Reg No:KL-15 9647 which was going to Cherthala.The bus was over crowded and the seats that reserved for ladies were occupied by the male passengers. we requested the conductor to vacate the seat and to help us to get the seats . But he laughed with other passengers and went to the front side and sat in his seat. He denied our Rights as a passenger and his laugh make us very sad. So I humbly request you to take necessary action against the said conductor to avoid such incidents in the future.

        I have booked a ticket for my father from Hyderabad to Bellary today 7Nov2014. Unfortunately he forgot to carry the ID card. The driver behavior was bit rude and he didn't allow him to board the bus. I couldn't cancel the bus ticket and could not board the bus. I had to buy a new ticket for getting in to the bus. I have been travelling(Bangalore to Hyderabad) with KSRTC since last 7 years and never had this kind of experience. Definitely I will change my mind now to travel with KSRTC anymore. I am not sure, how to take it up with KSRTC and get my money back. Here are my ticket details PNR: H46503417, Bus Number KA34F 1231.

          as our government is giving salary to the employees of ksrtc on monthly basics and pensions.our government is not watching / monitoring the work of these employees .they will be payed even if they done or not done the work properly.by this our ksrtc is suffering a huge loss day by day while the private bus owners profit is increasing. by considering this huge loss of ksrtc, government is forced by the private bus owners to increase the bus charge eventually. I request you to take necessary actions against the ksrtc employees and also reduce the bus charge as the diesel charge reduced

            KSRTC hasn't refunded for the cancelled bus service (PNR J[protected]. Amount: Rs 769. It's more than a month now. Not getting response to email requests. No answer to phone calls. Here is the cancellation email from KSRTC to me (3.5 hours before boarding time): _____________________________________________________________________ Service Cancellation Alert KSRTC regrets to inform that for PNR No. J45760355, service 2230BNGCHN from BANGALORE to CHENNAI on journey date 07/10/2014 is cancelled. _____________________________________________________________________ Transaction as seen in my bank statement: 30/09/2014 30/09/2014 BIL/[protected]/ksrtc769/KSRTC_MIC I35029 769.00 On 11th Oct, I had gone to the Majestic (KBS) counter, I was told that I would be refunded online as it's a online ticket.                 I had booked ticket from Mantralayam to Hubli details are as given below. PNR Number : H45340272 Date of Journey : 02/10/2014 Trip Code :2015MNTHBL We had waited till 21:00hr on journey date later after the enquiry got to know the this bus has been cancelled and there is schedule at this time.I tried many time to contact KSRTC conatct number given in the ticket but there was no respond. I did not even get any bus cancelled notification nor ticket ammount refund. I have booked this ticket on 09/09/2014 and ticket was confirmed Total Fare :712.00 was paid.                   I've made transaction of Rs 1571 on 5th of September which was un-successful & amount has been debited from my bank account. Could you Pls refund the same.                   I got a failed transaction while booking tickets on KSRTC website. I emailed [protected]@ksrtc.org as suggested in the website. Even after 2 reminder emails and phone calls which were never answered, the money is not yet refunded to my account.

                    A conductor of ksrtc bus in root from dharwad to belgaum I asked him to give the daily pass but he told me that he cant give daily pass. This is happened on 20/10/2014 the bus is belongs to haliyal depot & the bus no is KA 42 F 1520 IN the bus it is mentioned that daily pass are available for that contact conductor. but they not give daily pass.

                      Today 24th Oct 2014, from Belgaum to Ulavi (Near Dandeli) bus facility was not available even after waiting for 2 hours. After having question about the bus operation to controller he started shouting like "we have many work to do" just because the bus was coming from Inchalkaranji and it was not belgaum depo bus. We (17 adults group including small kids and female elderly) were waited for 2 hours and after contacting Chikkodi depo controller, Depo manager said they put the cancelled board in Chikkodi depo and if we want we can go there to read that. Even in Belgaum depo first the respective controller was not available (later understood that he was off duty on mutual understanding) when main controller contacted two great personality on Mr. Chikmath and another Mr. Patil they started behaving like bulls without any respects. When we asked to contact their higer authority they said we cannot help and use alternate option as if they are providing free service. With lots of bad feelings in our mind we (all 17) people have to return to our villages as practically there is facility that time to reach using government bus facility. Hope someone will look this issue and avoid such incidents in future. If anyone has any questions or doubts please contact me. Very rude way to handle operational issues and provide service to public.

                        Hi All.. I struggled to get the Refund Amount which got debited during my Failed Online Booking Transaction.. I had struggle for more than 45 days. At last I was in touch with the right team and the amount got refunded within 5 minutes. I have posted multiple complaints on the same forum..                           Online Booking Transaction No. OB[protected] Failed OB13116727IGZ6405346 TRANSFER TO [protected] CAO- FA- KSRTC E - T We have booked a Ticket from Bangalore to Nellore for 1.10.14 and Nellore to Bangalore for 4.10.14 for which the transaction details are as mentioned above. But, the transaction has failed. When we inquired on the customer care and sent an email, they said the amount of Rs.1700 for the transaction will be credited within a week. And after a series of mails and calls to customer care, there is still no amount credited. Being a state level transportation service website, such intolerable behavior shows how irresponsible it is on your part. I need the amount to be credited as soon as possible into the SBI account with Account number : [protected].

                            Hi I have tried to book a ticket on26th Sept, from Bangalore to Tirupathi. The amont had got dedcuted from my account though the ticket has not been booked.I have tried calling the account section and mailed to the email id mentioned and no action nor response has been there.                               With my family I was travelling from Udupi to Mysore on 10.10.14 in Non Ac Sleeper departed at 21.00 hrs from Udupi. PNR No. J[protected]Bus No. KA-19F2979). We have not booked a ticket for our child, but in the bus, conducter insisted to book a half ticket for the child. I requested him to provide a seat for the half ticket. The conducted replied that if the seat is required you ask your child to get down. He then has issued a half ticket for Rs. 396/- (Ticket No. 033720 dt. 10.10.14 issued at 21.09.30 Hrs.) But later when the bus reached to Mangalore, I heard the conducter was telling 1 seat is available with some customer. My question is if 1 seat is available why he has not given that seat to my half ticket? Request to clarify my point.

                                I tried to book a return ticket from Mangalore to Bangalore and return today and the amount is deducted from my bank account but the ticket did not get confirmed. Can you please refund the amount deducted as this was a failed transaction OB Number: OB13358778 Transaction date : 6th October 2014 I have written numerous emails to [protected]@ksrtc.org, but not a single reply to any of those emails. Can you please give me provide me the escalation path, where i can get the refund or reply to the emails i have written.

                                      I have multiple things to say, we were supposed to travel to Chennai on 09-Oct at 8:30 PM and catch a flight at 5:45 AM from Chennai Airport(Chennai-Guwahati). I booked the below KSRTC bus looking at the arrival time i.e. 3:30 AM at Chennai. PNR Number : J45933244 Trip Code : 2030BNGCHN Well, on the day of travel I got a message saying the bus is cancelled. How do you expect me to book a ticket on the same day??? This is just the first part. I somehow managed to book another bus, boarding time : 9:50PM Venue : ShanthiNagar bus stand. Chennai arrival time : 4:00 AM Find the details below, PNR Number : T45961703 Trip Code : 2151BNGCHN We reached the bus stand at 9 to make sure we don't miss the bus. Unfortunately, the bus showed up at 10:45PM after a lot of searching. They asked us to board another bus for some reason, when asked the driver said the bus will reach at 6:15, way after the flight would have taken off.. We are expected to be at the airport an hour before the travel. First of all, how can you cancel the bus on the same day???? The total amount deducted for the ticket was 1999, amount refunded is 1804. Why should I pay for your mistake??? How can you expect us to board the bus 1:30 hrs late when we have a flight to catch???? We had to pay Rs. 6700/- for a inter-city cab and catch the flight. Total loss incurred : Cab (6700) + Bus cancelled(184) = Rs 6884/- Who will refund this amount?

                                      Even I face the similar problem on 22nd Jan 2016. I am Syed Yusuf we booked two tickets from bangalore to gulbarga, non a/c sleeper 8.00 PM bus. The bus was failed near Neelmagla (air pipe was damaged, bus number was 1999). however we reached tumkur depot at 2.00 am. The mechanic in depot were not able to fix the issue. Then conductor called the depot manager but of no help. We got ordinary bus till sira and from there we got Suhas bus (seating, but we booked for sleeper) till gulbarga. we reached gulbarga at 5.30 pm (21 hours journey instead of 12 hours) we faced lot of inconvenience.


                                      To whom dp we need to report for such impartially practice?

                                        Hello, We have travelled from Channagiri to Bangalore on[protected] in KSRTC Volvo service. A ticket fare was 467, but in awatar booking it is showing 424 rupees. Why this difference? Actually the price must be less when we are buying ticket with conductor instead of booking online.                                         Sir, Thanks for your valuable feedback. As there is no fare difference for online and ticket buying from conductor for any services. In Channagiri and Bangalore case that time we are undertaking fare revision, if you go through booking process the fare is as same as ticket buying from conductor with reservation charges.

                                        when we are introducing the new service or seasonal fare changes, fares are updated by backend which is chargeable fare to Passengers. But during this time the enquiry form may not reflect the fare one which updated by backend that day.
