gurukul-ahmedabad nokia care took my 2gb memory card at the time of service issue..i forgot to remove from my nokia c1 mobile at the time of service..but its sure it was in it..and when i called to told such problem they reject my talk..its decrease nokia care value in our mind...

    Sir / Madam,

    This is to bring to your concern about the ground realities for the reduction in the customer satisfaction towards NOKIA mobiles and its service centres.

    I used to feel proud to have all mobile phones in my family of NOKIA make, thanks to the quality of build the company provides. For last 10 years, whenever any one asks me the suggestion to purchase a mobile, I use to recommend them only NOKIA, which I have already tested the quality of performance over these years.

    But the greatest hiccup I use to find with the company is their service centre. Whenever I give it for repair, I use to get scared, whether the same quality will continue or deteriorate. It is something like a person going for a tooth ache gets diabetes. Both the disease don't have anything in common expect being part of same body, but due to the doctor's wrong prescription of medicine a small problem severes to a disastrous one !

    The timing of the NOKIA Service Centre is designed in such a way that a Customer should bunk his office, or leave away all his emergency works because their shutter automatically closes at sharp 7 pm daily (whereas all other shops in the market takes this time as the peak business hour).

    Since I believe in perfection, I use to give my mobile for even simple problem to the NOKIA CARE centre only.

    On 08th March 2012, I went to Smart CARE (NOKIA Service Centre) Pattom, Trivandrum, Kerala. for the problem in keypad and speaker low volume issues in my mobile (N73 Music Edition). I got it repaired and collected on 10th March 2012 (Service Bill No.LW14294). Same day I thought to change the body panel, but it was unavailable in the shop, for which I went to MOBILY, Pattom, Trivandrum and got it changed.

    But when I got back after 8 days from MOBILY, multiple problems started in my handset. Start-up tone was interrupting, top speaker sound was not good, joystick movement was defective, memory card not reading, mobile getting heated up within 5 minutes, battery getting discharged within hours without any usage.

    For this, I went again to the same NOKIA service centre on 24th March 2012 (Saturday) (I could not go early because of beautiful timing set by your service centre on all days) and explained all above mentioned problems to the representative. Even I gave a separate note for their reference so that they should not miss any of the mentioned problem.

    On 29th March, I got an SMS stating the mobile was ready. On 31st March, through the busy traffic of the city, driving away from my residence for more than an hour, I could somehow reach the shop at 7 pm. The person at delivery counter accepted my receipt, but the staff who use to be there at reception, switched off all the lights & fan to remind me that it had closed. This kind of treatment is the first of its kind for me, for which I felt as if insulted.

    After recieving the handset (Service Bill No.LW15008), without explaining whether all problems were corrected or not, they collected cash from me and went away getting busy for closing the shop.

    After coming out of the shop, when I checked, none of the problems mentioned were corrected. I felt as if cheated for giving my handset to them and wasting my time and losing my self esteem in from of them.

    I would like to know what is the concept behind fixing the closing time at 7 pm, and not at least upto 8 pm ? Whether mobile is the only important asset for an individual to concern about, and leave all his important works, because he/she has to get this asset corrected before 7 o'clock of any day ?

    I now really feel sorry for my beloved mobile which never gave me any complain for over 4 years, and just for making it perfect I have almost lost it !

    Hope this letter may be an eye opener for the company.

    Nokia N 73 — NOKIA :WORST SERVICES

    friends i purchased a new nokia N73 music edition phone and after 4 months found that i got a problem with the battery of the phone.So i went to one of the nokia care centers and complaint about that and they people told that the battery needs to be checked by the service technician and then they will replace the battery if needed.I submitted the battery and after a day went againa nd the the technician told that the battery is not working fine and they told me that the battery would be replaced.So after 15 days i went again to them and they people probvided me with a re furbished batterya and when i asked they told that the battery is quality checked so i took that one.After 2 days i noticed that the battery is still creating the same concerns and i went again to themm and they people again misguided me and they were big liers.I must tell u people that please do NOT PURCHASE NOKIA PRODUCTS .AS THEY ARE THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDERS...
    PLEASE BE ATTENTIVE WHILE GOING TO THE NOKIA CARE CENTERS AS THEY CAN BEFOOL YOU.

    We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have recently purchased the above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems. The mobile is getting switched off automatically while walking or making making any movement. Each day i need to switch on the mobile for more than 5 times. The phone even could'nt take incomming calls. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.
    Every time is visit nokia care they are least bothered to what i say and making me to visit nokia care for more than 4 times by giving lame excuses. i am not at all satisfied with the nokia care services and advise people to stop buying nokia products( esp higher end models)

    Nokia N73 ME — NOKIA Service

    Hi, I have purchased N73ME (IMEI: [protected]) around 31st May 2007. Recently I have a problem. It switched off automatically. When I start, it gets hangs in the opening screen and again switched off. There after it does not get started. I had submitted the mobile in the following NOKIA care point vide service job sheet number 2647 on dated 23rd Jun 2008.

    On 28th Jun I have received the phone. During checking I found that everything is working except Camera (which was working perfectly fine previously). I return them the mobile and they inform me that it will be done in 2 days i.e on. When I contact the NOKIA care point on 2nd July I was informed that it had been send to other centre and already been dispatched. I will be getting it within a day or two. The same explanation I am getting as of now also. I really doubt on the service we are getting on NOKIA phones.

    i am one of the customer of worst Nokia. I bought Nokia N73 last year. within the 15 days of purchase it got failured with some problem i showed it in nokia center they just flash my mobile and gave it to me. again it got affected with unknown problem for 5 times. whenever i show there they simply falsh the mobile and gave it to me. if i ask they told virus problem. one time i checked with outside shop they told its because of hardware problem not a vrus problem. at that time also Nokia service center people flshed and gave. this and all ok but they are charging 450 ruppees for flashingh the memory even the mobile is in warranty period then whats the need of warranty? It happened in VELACHERRY nokia care chennai. no respect for our product and us. Bloody fellows. son/daughter of , for others please don buy nokia mobiles.

    My cell nokia n73music adittion joystick not work proprly. Its automatic work and automatic not worked. My cell imei:[protected]. And my cell is in one year guaranted period(14/04/2008).I have face many problems.         I bought my Nokia c7 in Feb 2011. From the starting, dust particles have crawled its way below the touch screen. I took it to Revanna Nokia Care here in mysore and cleaned it. The most frustrating part is that they did this 3TIMES over the next 8 months, (took the handset and cleaned the LCD) until my warranty date had arrived, and I was swindled into taking the Nokia Care Protect which extended my warranty. In January, they took the mobile and sent it to the "Company" for 10 days. Ok, i waited for 10 days and got the handset back. They had replaced the LCD and in another week, the dust problem started again. I tell this to Nokia Care and this time the people there advise me to ADJUST with the problem. This was unacceptable so i threatened to go to higher officials and after 3 days of my argument, they take the mobile and send it to company again. Now the most frustrating part is that they took the handset for a period of 29 days, did not provide me any standby handset and finally when a replacement was provided on the 22nd March 2012, I was infuriated to see my buttons and camera panel SCRATCHED. THIS WAS NOT HOW I SUBMITTED THE MOBILE. THE WORST PART IS THAT EVEN NOW THE DUST PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. I have wasted over 1500 rupees in buying screen guards and silicone & leather pouches on Nokia Care's advice just to find the problem is not solved. Also the manager has been procrastinating my appointment to meet with him. I really am disgusted with this phone right now. I feel cheated and abused. I hope Nokia contacts me and resolves these issues, I really don't want to waste my time taking them to consumer court,but if I have to, I will. Given the price I paid for this handset( Rs 17000) , I don't deserve to face this kind of service)

        Nokia — LCD breakdown

        I purchased nokia 5130 handset on may 6, 2009 from kolkata region. Its LCD went black 2 days back automatically and nokia customer care is not considering the set in a warranty period.

        This is the author of the 1st post. It has been 27 days since i have posted my complaint on this website. I am very sad to convey that the situation has got worse. The Nokia Care here had taken my phone for "observation" and found no problem, but whereas when I took it for use, the very next day the dust problem had reappeared. I conveyed this to the branch manager and sadly, he was in a very uncooperative mood, and has ineffectively blamed me (the customer) of this problem. Clearly if you type "dust problem in nokia c7" in google, you will get around 10 websites which house the complaints of many such customers with the same problem and I think this directly implies that it is not the customer fault, but some rare manufacture defect with some particular handsets of this type. The manager even though proved wrong, has once again procrastinated justice and has delayed any action from being taken by citing that he has sent an email of "APPROVAL" for the effective replacement of my phone. Logically speaking, one of the greatest mobile giants of the world, NOKIA, WOULD NOT AND WILL NOT delay their response BY 27 DAYS. So clearly there is some malpractice going on and sadly I, as a loyal Nokia customer, am on the receiving end of an unjust action. Will Nokia higher officials take action, will Nokia officials come to the aid of a loyal Nokia customer, will Nokia officials heed the value of precious money spent on such a costly phone?? I really hope so, because this should not deteriorate the Nokia's name in the society. This is the only action we as customers can take against such unjust actions, so please, if Nokia officials have seen this, I hope some action will be taken soon.
        This problem come after Nokia Care open my mobile for repaire .now asusual your problem they open and clean screen 10 times in a month but there is no solution.plz send solution
        The above comments are absolutely correct with regard to NOKIA and if in hindi for every problem referred to this company, the result is 'no' 'kia' i.e. nothing is done to help customers. I am facing similar problem about the Screen collecting dust for a mobile set ASHA 200 purchased on 29.9.2012. This was cleaned several times and in this process they mishandled the sim holder which got loose. When pointed out this, they said that it will have no effect on set and will be repaired next time when I find it convenient.

        AND NOW THEY HAVE STARTED PUTING ALL RESPONSIBILITY ON ME SAYING THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN DONE AT NOKIA CARE. I HAVE BEEN REQUESTING REPEATEDLY TO REPLACE THIS SET BUT NOKIA HAS FAILED TO RESPOND PROPERLY AND IS ONLY BUSY IN FIND FAULT OF SIM HOLDER ON THE CUSTOMER INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE SET FOR DUST COLLECTING SCREEN (IT SEEMS THAT NOKIA IS USING THIRD CLASS SCREENS AND LOOTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS)_ FURTHER THERE IS NO HIGHER OFFICIAL WHOM ONE CAN CONTACT FOR RESOLVING COMPLAINTS. I WILL ALL VIEWERS NOT TO GO IN FOR NOKIA WHICH HAS WORST CARE FOR CUSTOMERS (NO- KIA CARE).

          i was purchased Nokia c2-02 handset at 16th September,2011. i heard about Nokia's quality product that's why i decides to buy this handset but last 2-3 months i found lot of hanging problem in the which seems difficult for to solve it and my city hasn't have a services center of Nokia so what i can do next. and this handset have relay big problem that its touch pad is not effective.

            To Whomsoever it may concern,

            My name is Bhanu, and I had a problem with my Nokia X2 mobile's display-which is within the warranty month period. When I visited the service centre, the service personnel told me that it was a problem with the OS. I did not understand why it was so and he said that it would be rectified after the software update was done. But even after the software update and being charged Rs. 150/- for it, it turned out that there was absolutely no change in the phone.

            The phone is still functioning the same way. This is like misleading the customer just to spend money in vain. When informed them about it, the said to come later even after the problem still persists. It is not possible for people like us to make regular rounds to the service centre. I request the possible action to be taken.

            nokia x2 — display error

            I had bought nokia x2 model on (9.3.11) EMEI NO:[protected]...nokia Display has become blank when i was working on mobile within a month.I asked in nokia care to fix the defect but they simply replied had to buy new display.i asked whether shall i complain to the nokia care through mail but they replied tat staffs working there will itself cancel the mail and close the problem....


            I was upset because within a month it showed the fault so i ordered the display in nokia care itself and paid 100 rs as advance on (5/5/11) and they told to come on 14.went to nokia care on 14 th they said some reason and told come on 15 then 17,19,23,25,26,28 .Till now they didn't respond properly just said a simple sentence "if the ordered display does not come means will return your advance" is this a way to talk to a customer...now they said to come on tuesday(31.5.11).....they way of talking does not looks good they are just making me to wander many times........i hope will take some good steps to solve my problem

              I have been using Nokia 701 for the past 3-4 months..(With bill/Warranty).

              I had issues of Blutooth, and small bugs, which were rectified in the latest update.
              A few days back, the Phone experienced a small fall,when trying to take my phone from my pocket,in my college classroom, right from the benches we sit on during class.
              It was hardly 1.5 feet fall, and the Gorilla Glass just cracked..

              I have seen videos of Nokia phones with Corning gorilla glass not even taking a scratch from a 7 feet fall.

              I was shocked to see it.
              Had purchased the phone for 17600 Rs,on seeing such features.

              The glass is cracked.
              but touch, and IPS LED work fine.
              Phone is completely fine other than the Corning Gorilla glass.


              Either the Product has a faulty unit from manufacture, or the standards of the 3rd party stuff that Nokia uses are very poor.
              I was terribly disappointed and took the unit to the Nokia care.

              They never even listened to my complaint.
              All they told was,
              " Full Display unit has to be changed.
              It will cost more than 3500 Rs."

              When i told them that touch is working fine, they told me its my luck, that it works fine.but the unit has to be changed as a whole.

              Why is this absurd pricing, for a phone covered by warranty.

              I have been using Nokia for years.
              Its not like i,held a hammer to the screen and broke the entire display unit.(That is Physical Damage)

              For a crack on the So called " The damage resistance Gorilla Glass " - featuring exceptional damage resistance to the scratches, drops, and bumps of everyday use.

              I am being stripped of Warranty and have to pay for stuff that is not damaged.

              Either the Product has a faulty unit from manufacture, or the standards of the 3rd party stuff that Nokia uses are very poor.

              I will upload Pics as proof.Phone is otherwise completely fine.

              I also have a droid gorilla glass with a crack..bth times I had no idea hoe the crack was intiated..no drops to my knowledge..soooo
              2 motorola droids..both with cracked Gorilla glass..one after 6months the other after 2 months..I contacted
              corning glass..they said send my phone to them and they would test it..test it..but would not repair my phone nor send it back to me, , WTF
              they would send me a gifr card for 25$...are they guys NUTS?...apparently not, for they are still selling the faulty Gorilla Glass

              Help..could we boycott..or just kick someones !

                    sir i have 1 problem in my nokia c6-01 belle update that after update to symbian belle my 3g speed too low to 18-22kbps but before belle update i am getting 600-700kbps. First i thought it might be problem of my 3g network but i was wrong becoz the same sim i tried on my friend nokia 5235 in that handset speed coming proper 600-700kbps then why it was only in my handset? I want it to solve as early as possible or exchange my nokia c6-01 belle to nokia c6-01 anna becoz i am happy with anna atleast in that i getting awesome speed.                       I bought a Nokia C6-00 in August 2011 for Rs 11,950.00 from Nokia Priority , shop no. 32,1st floor ,Shipra Mall, Indrapuram,Gzb-201012,UP,India. the handset seems to be defective as it started giving defferent problems from the second month itself.
                      Its not even a year and I have given it for repair four times to Nokia Care at RDC, Rajnagar,Gzb-201001,India .When the problems occured 2nd time (with in four months from the date of buy) I reached both Nokia Priority and Nokia Care and insisted to replace the handset as it had not one but a no. of problems. Inspit of my several requests each time time they just repaired it and gave back.

                      The various problems I faced in these 7 months with this handset are :
                      1. Head set USB not working,
                      2.Phone is hanging regularly.
                      3.Camera malfunction,
                      4.Bluetooth connectivity problems,
                      5.Charging problems,
                      6. Handset's audio/speaker not working at all.


                      After the 4th repair in 7th month yesterday this time (5th time) the problem reoccured just in an hour. The phone is still with me but of no use as its audio is still not working and the phone gets hanged very frequently.
                      Could you please help me to get this handset replaced because I don't think it is acceptable to get a phone worth Rs 11,950 getting repaired 5th time in 7 months (within warranty period) .

                      I bought a NOKIA C6 mobile in this year bearing serial number : [protected].
                      and this mobile was working so fine meanwhile i have given this mobile to NOKIA CARE ( Located at Mahdipatnam, Hyderabad )for updating, and I dont understand what they did with it after that it has started giving troubles like any thing like the phone is restarting again and again, music player and camera every thing has started giving trouble i have given my mobile 4 times to them but they are unable to fix it please help me out and replace my phone as it is in warranty.

                              Nokia Service centre is not worth it...

                              I purchased one Nokia dual sim C1-00 mobile phone. To increase the safety of my phone I activated the Security lock code..feature...Unfortunately the new code which I set was not memorable to me any more... I tried many many times with various permutations and combinations and un fortunately I cannot retreive the New Code...

                              At last I took my brand new Phone to Nokia Service centre and they said that they would charge another Rs.150/- for unlocking my device. They said that they would have to refresh the software..Shockingly the Nokia Care told that For Rs.150/- they are not going to issue any bill/invoice or Money Receipt..I produced my purchase invoice and requested to do it free of charge since it was under warranty, but they did not heed to it..

                              Interestingly,,to be noted that another customer (who was of course unknown to me) came with a complaint that his Nokia x1-01 is hanging now and then ...and that since his mobile was under warranty he demanded to refresh the software free of charge...The Nokia Customer care technicians thoroughly examined the phone for 10 mins or so and found that the soft ware was not hanging and the phone worked absolutely normal....But ,this customer was a hard nut to crack and boldly insisted to refresh the software and to my utter surprise the Nokia Care people did the refreshing of software as demanded by the customer and they never Charged any money for it....

                              If I had also told them to refresh my software on pretext of "Software Hanging problem" my problem too would have been solved Free of charge!!! I suffered because I told the truth..;..Is that what we expect in a Global Brand like Nokia?

                              Same problem when I encountered in Nokia mobile phones some 3 yrs back the Customer care center used to refresh the software free of charge but now things have changed enormously...... They charge even if you breathe an extra air in their premises...

                              Any how I solved my problem in my own way....Guess how.....?

                              I just refreshed my software at a non Nokia Care center at Rs.70/----only and to my utter surprise the phone worked perfectly well from then onwards even though I serviced it at Non Nokia Centre....after one month I sold the phone and bought a Non Nokia hand set ( It was Samsung Hero music an awe some phone) . From that day onwards I have became an Anti Nokia Enthusiast...Whenever I meet any of my friends or relatives who want to purchase a New Mobile phone I always suggest them a Non Nokia cell phone..Happily one of my uncle bought a Samsung Primo instead of Nokia C500 and one friend of mine bought a Samsung 2230 instead of Nokia X1--01,solely on my hard persuasion......I took my revenge by persuading a couple of people to buy Samsung Instead of Nokia and I feel very very happy.....That Nokia lost atleast two customer's ....I continue to persuade as many people as possible to purchase Samsung or LG instead of Nokia.....I would be really happy the day when Nokia would cease to be leading mobile phone brand of Indian market.....and that day I will rejoice.....



                              Nokia people have the most poor Customer Value perception.....For them customer's value and satisfaction is of no matter...They know only money...Let's Defeat such cheats.....

                                    I (sudhir mohan vyas) purchased nokia lumia 710 (black) from spice hotspot, model town II,delhi on 25th feb 2012 with below details:

                                    while purchasing, spice executive recommended to buy this model as this is the best option available in the market at rs 15,100 price tag.

                                    On the same day when I put my sim inside and got the first call, the call DID not disconnect. It went on hanging mode with other functions becoming non-operative.
                                    On 2nd day - we went there to report the issue, they retailer didn't log any issue and asked to use it for further 1 more day
                                    till 3rd day - issue persisted and dealer finally replaced my black handset with a new white handset with below details, saying that this is known issue with production of only black handsets :

                                    trusting dealer, we took new white handset which also started giving same issue.
                                    On 4th day - we again went there to report the issue, and dealer now tried to convince us with the problem in our sim. They asked us to use the handset for next 2 days and promised that if issue persists, they will help us in getting do from nokia service centre.

                                    We reached them again after days requesting them for do. As per their suggestion, we went to nokia care on kingsway camp, hakikat nagar, delhi.
                                    Nokia person directly denied of any such policy of creating do.

                                    Now, we were became helpless as nobody was ready to take responsibility of faulty handset. We are being mentally harassed for our own money by sales persons of spice hotspot, model town II, delhi.

                                    We tried to convince dealer to change the handset and give us any other handset no matter of higher range. This time he didn't agree.

                                    Today, thru internet I came to know this issue exists in many of nokia lumia 710 handset & nokia which is considered as the best/Reliable handset manufacturer in india hasn't worked out anything to overcome this problem.

                                    Its a serious matter which nokia should address asap.

                                    I would like to claim a refund of rs 15,100 from nokia for this.

                                    Nokia company is cheating people by selling the handset lumia because they handset has
                                    software problem,the problem is this that the call is not getting disconnected even after the user disconnects the call..
                                    the fact is that even nokia has accepted that they have this fault..but what will happen to the consumers..we are being harrased for no reason..

                                    1. Call disconnect problem
                                    2. Mobile hang and auto restart problem

                                    either we should get a replacement with any other model or I want my money back...
                                    please the concerned person help us to solve this problem.

                                    You are right Nokia is no longer reliable product ...they just want to make profit nothing else, that is why there market share in last 2 years has decline to very low limits in india. If this trends continue in future it may happen that nokia will be out of race from mobile market as a leading mobile company in india.

                                    I have purchase Nokia C6-00 just 6 months ago now suddenly its screen goes blank when I inform nokia care they told me to pay Rs 2302 (after settlement ) to repair flex cable which is cut according to them. Now question arise why should I pay when its not my fault at all. It simple meaning is that I have to pay just for using Nokia products. Nokia is proving faulty products to its customer and when its malfunction they put entire blame on cutomers just to save there reputations.

                                    Its time for nokia to wake up, I hope nokia will understand my concern and take important steps before its to late for them...
