i have bought Nokia lumia 710 phone in the month of march 2012 since then i have so much of problems with the phone.
problems are,

1. unable to purchase applications through phone and internet
2. sometimes unable to send text and mms messages
3. sometimes people are unable to contact me
4. and today (11.4.2012) i am not able to contact some of them
5. in the beginning i was unable to update my phone software (not now)

so to sort it out i approached nokia care but there they took the hand set and asked me to come the next day this happened about 4 to 5 times each time there is a new problem so any one has an answer for this ? i suspect the phone itself is defective!!

Nokia Lumia 710- From the time i have purchased Nokia Lumia 710, i am unable to use Nokia music, and the latest software doesent get updated. I have taken it to nearly 4 to 5 nokia care center none of them are able to rectify the fault.
Nokia music doesnt work and it says the phone software doesnt support and new software doesnt get updated.

Having terrible issues from the time i have purchased the phone

    Hi,

    I have had terrible experiences in using my Nokia N8 device. This bad experience is a combination of faulty device & very poor repairing capability of Nokia care. I bought this device in April 2011 reading good reviews, i personally love the features of this mobile i think its one of the best mobile handset of its generation, but GOD BLESS YOU if you experience any fault with it.

    Nokia customer care center (i have tried more than 1) is poor in capability & quality when it comes to repairing high end device. I have suffered recurring issues of auto rebooting of my N8 device right from the 1st month o[censored]sage & have submitted the device 4 times at Nokia care center. Each time they have returned the device by reinstalling the software & falsely convincing me that the device is repaired. This time i tried to ensure that the device is picked up by the Delhi Nokia HQ office team from the local Nokia care so that they personally inspect the device, for the same i had spoken to the tele officer before depositing my device at the Vile Parle (fones4u) nokia care center & i was assured that it would be picked up & inspected by the Delhi Nokia team.

    However one the 3rd day of depositing i got a call from the Local Nokia care center stating that they did not find any fault with the device & that i need to have it collected from them, i immediately called the Nokia care customer service number and discussed the issue & to my surprise they too suggested me to collect the device & to continue using the device. Despite of me repeatedly asking them to have the device inspected by the Delhi team as the local nokia care center was in capable to identifying the issue i was unheard.

    I am extremely disappointed at this unprofessional behavior of Nokia people. I shall NEVER recommend nokia to any one from hereon.

    Hi Praneeth Karkera,
    I had similar experience as you did and what i did was submitted my Nokia N8 back to Nokia for them to keep it among their antiques and want to get a refund to buy better phones like Samsung galaxy.Never trust or buy Nokia again.Bye bye to Nokia.

          On 5 October 2011, i made a purchase of nokia headset bh-503, which came with a warranty of 1 year. And the very next month the product was not working, so on 2 January 2012 i gave the product for service in a nokia care whose target date of return was 12 Jan.
          And till date i haven't got back my product. The service centre is not taking my request seriously. I had visited the service centre 5 times and still my problem has not been resolved. kindly look into the matter.

          Nokia 2505 handset — Very Inefficient Service

          Sir,
          I have given my Nokia 2505 handset for fixing a problem at your Mehdipatnam (Hyderabad) centre. I was assured of the work being done within 3 weeks. It has been over over six weeks (43 days) now and every week I call your Nokia care centre, they say that it has gone to chennai and will come next week. Practically, any problem should not take such a long time. I mean we are not dealing with some rocket science technology here. Its difficult for any consumer to manage without his phone for such a long time. If this is the customer service you provide, i dont think anybody will be willing to purchase or advise anybody for buying a nokia handset anymore. It will be great if you can adhere to this complaint at the earliest to restore little confidence of the consumers in your service mechanism. The details are

            I purchased a NOKIA E5 handset in January'11. Bearing numbers

            From an intial fine usage and satisfactory performance, now from around 2-3 months i am facing a problem of a quick battery drain. The extent is that in morning i make a full charge( Battery Charging Complete- Message on phone) in the noon it is entering the power saving mode after making 2-3 calls of average around 2 min. this is ridiculous Nokia in my image is known for its battery backup and i have been using this Noika brand right from the age of your prestigious NOKIA 3310 which is still working satisfactorily.

            My Phone is in warranty, as i availed your extended warranty offer this year in January. (

            During the time of that checking (as they opened my phone and checked) even i told this problem but they said that your set is perfectly OK but it is the battery that is having problem.

            Now the question arises that Nokia only make product battery only for the service life of 1 year or so???? Else the dealership M/s Bhora Communication at Stadium Char Rasta , Ahmedabad is not rectifying it properly or bluffing me for increasing their battery sales?? Do nokia give incentives for the battery sale it seems from the incident???

            Surely the answer should be a BIG NO & as i also know this as one of my immediate college is using this phone which is purchased earlier than my purchase and is more extensively used than my phone 20-25 or more call per day average timing 5 min or more, he gets a smart backup of around 2 days.

            Being a technocrat i follow full charge & discharge cycle rule for better battery life. i am very sad with the product quality, being a technocrat that Battery Li-ion should have enough life, i thought of that the product will last for years which was the image in my mind.

            Shall i assume after investing as sum of 10300 on this phone, we need to have provision for battery cost every year???

            I am observing & experiencing from last few years that the product coming into the Indian market works well only in the warranty period and as soon as the warranty gets over they start giving trouble, as this was the case with me for SONY Bravia ( Panel Problem – resolved through this forum) , Samsung Washing ( Control Switch problem- Rectified by company with 1 week remaining in warranty), LG- refrigerator ( problem of thermostat- rectified by a family friend in LG).

            You people think the warranty is valid for 1 year and after that NOKIA can ESCAPE??? i have told all my friends and relatives NOT to even think about **** NOIKA.

            I am now regretting my decision for buying NOKIA PHONE-E5, one should not buy Nokia instead buy a cheap mobile or either switch to other brand at least don’t have to shell out a hefty sum.

            I request to NOKIA India & Hope NOKIA India will look into & help me, waiting for your favor.

            Nokia — battery not working

            i had purchased my nokia ph on 24th feb 2008. nw it is nt taking power to charge the battery. the model no is 1208. whenever the batt is low, it is nt taking power to charge. the ph is working with other battery. at nokia centre they r nt gvng proper response. plz tel me what shd i do. m very dissapointed with ur products. i dnt want to change my battery. m facing this problem since starting bt my fault was i didnt took it seriously. u tel my the solution or shd i approach consumer court.

            Bohra Communication- C3 — Service Issue

            Dear Concern,

            I have purchased a mobile of nokia-c3 on 03/11/2010. Still it is the warranty period. After Submitting it in the service for 7 times and that too in just 3 months in BOHRA COMMUNICATION, G-3 MALLINATH COMPLEX CAMP ROAD NEAR RAJASTHAN HOSPITAL SHAHIBAUG AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT-380004, they agreed to provide me the replacement for the same.Within this time period they have lost my original battery as well and after doing the complain in nokia helpline they agreed to provide me the new battery. By this time they had provided me the some duplicate battery that was available with him, which i used for almost for 2weeks and everytime i visits them they says that we will be providing you the new battery the very next time you visit our shop. The problem that i was facing is that in my inbox, there are some mess which i have sent and that is getting reflected in the inbox. Apart from this in the very next option for that.i.e- in conversation, it shows totally different picture,i.e- the mess send by x person is seen from y persons name and chat which is done with y person shows with z persons name and this goes on and on.

            After this i was being offered with a new handset with replacement note with following details.

            Now again in the new handset i am facing the same problem. On contacting Mr. Rajeshbhai Who takes care of nokia care- Bohra Communication and sits at his stadium office of Bohra Communication for almost more than 10times what answer that i have got everytime from his is that i am very busy right now and will get back to you by the evening and he never comes back.

            Now this is something called heights of patience, I have doing the regular follow up but my problem has still not got resolved. Its almost 5months now. Would request you to solve it at the earliest and provide me with the satisfactory decision and service.

            Nokia — backup problem

            My phone and battery will not be submitted by nokia care executives by saying that it will give backup for only 4-5 hours
            while on purchasing time every one says that it will give backup for 9-10 hours

            Nokia — Battery Issue

            Hi,

            Almost 15 months back, I bought Nokia E5-00 handset when it was newly launched. Taking into consideration of my previous experience and Nokia brand name, I even did not wait for initial reviews of the phone. I simply bought with blind trust.

            Since I bought the phone, I am facing battery issues. It gets drained very quickly, calls gets dropped because batter is low etc. During warranty, I showed this problem to service center but no permanent solution was provided. As my warranty is expired after 1 year, I am continuously paying for each service request and still my problem is not resolved.

            I suspect 2 issues over here:

            1. My Nokia E5-00 piece is fauly one.
            2. Service center deliberately did not repair the issue and now charging me every time as I am stuck.

            Please let me know, what steps should I take in this case.

            I got my nokia E5 1 month ago, and same with other case. my nokia E5 oftens hang especially when i open my music player or there are times when i am playing games to my cell phone.

            I got a call from Mr. Rajesh Gandhi regarding the issue around 5:30 pm on 11th April'12

            He enquired me about the bill & place of purchase ( which i stated will be mailed to you at his given e- mail id which he agreed)

            He asked to visit me the Nokia care ( M/s Bohra Services), I visited the Nokia care

            Now Currently My set is kept under observation and is in custody of Nokia Care ( Job sheet[protected]/120411/33) and they had asked me that they will keep this set with them for a day.

            I explained the problem again. Lets see tommorow with their finding.

            On 13th morning i call to Nokia care ( M/s Bohra Services) inquiring about the findings

            they told me that there is a problem in the set and also they identifies the Network Lost problem in the phone and said that they are forwarding the Phone to NOKIA company, Delhi and also physically sending my phone to New Delhi and my problem will we resolved.

            I am stilll waitng for the favaroable reply, the person also told that the Phone will be rectified at no cost to me.

            hope they stay with their commitment

            I HAVE A NEW HANDSET, Nokia replaced my handset, i was not told reasons for it, but i have New NOkia E-5 without battery

            i put the old battery in the new nokia the same problem persists, contacted Nokia Care again, suggested to purchase new battery

            have to shell out 1500 bug for new battery.

            seems problem resolved

            I bought Nokia E5 on 2nd Nov 2011, but i too got the same problem of Battery draining, have to put charge thrice a day, even there was no sound usage. i really upset by this. With in a year time getting this problem is ridiculousness. while having a plan to buy Nokia E5 all of my friends suggested me to buy Samsung... but i love nokia, so i bought this, now i feel bad that i made a wrong discussion...

            kindly help me in this.

              boss i am using handset nokia modal 5233 but some time my set showed error not working his charging point so i visited ur care center on date 27 march 2012 where he checked my set and said that his charging point damaged so i deposit my hand set there and they asked come back after one week and got ur hand set and today we visited your service center but they replied not ok my hand set .and received after one week.kindly look in to this matter and resolved this asap...........

                  My phone getting locked frequently..
                  Nokia care has taken the phone for checking on 31th March '12 & has given timeline of 10~15 days for REPAIR.
                  NO ALTERNATE INSTUMENT TILL TIME.
                  NO OPTION FOR REPLACEMENT IF THE INSTRUMENT NEEDS MORE THAN A WEEK FOR REPAIR.
                  IS THIS NOKIA SERVICE?????

                    i have buyed a nokia x1-01 handset but the problem i faced that the battery back-up of phone is limited maximum to 42 hours but the company is giving it in written with up to 140 hours when i got through the service centre regards they refused to replace as they said that it's the maximum back-up of the phone even the battery remained within warranty period . kindly take nacessary action over it. my mail ID is: singhvishal.[protected]@gmail.com

                    my battery is in the list of faulty battery, i have given the battery no. through their prescibed site but from 2-3 month back there was no response from the NOKIA care centre.

                    Mobile phone battery — No response on replacement of battery

                    Sir,

                    As per NOKIA'S advise regarding BL-5C batteries, my mobile battery number[protected]N[protected] was to be replaced.We have registered for replacement of battery on[protected]. As there was no response to our registration, we again tried to register and during this process, we were informed that battery was already dispatched and that we should contact the nearest NOKIA dealer for replacement of defective battery. There after we contacted M/s. RK Communications, #30-5-6, Koka Chalapathi Rao Street, Durga Agraharam, Near Vijaya Talkies, Eluru Road, Vijayawada - 520 002. on 21/09/07. Now it is nearly two months since we first contacted them. We have been getting only the next dates, but not batteries since then. Every time we contact them, we are again asked to give the complete details which have already been given before. Also the party is reluctant to receive the complaint.

                    We are here with putting forward this complaint to NOKIA company to look into this problem for necessary solution. This may kindly be treated as most urgent.

                    i purchased N95 last month and now m facing problem in battery.
                    plzz replace my battery .service dealers told me that it will take 20 days but my phone is under warranty
                    so plz help..
                    well i hv Nokia N 95 handset of your repluted companu but m sry to say battery back up of phone is poor..
                    i went to customer care service office but they told me it will take 20 days to replace a battery..i have purchased this phone last month and i m not havin any subsitute phone.
                    its too long time for replacement.
                    My cell phone's battery No. BL-5C[protected]N[protected] is not functioning properly. It has gone deshaped and immediately after charging its shows as empty. Please get it replaced immediately. I lodged my complaint earlier also on August 15, 2007 but no action has been taken either by you or your local dealer.                     I have bought Battery of nokia 5700 for Rs 1400 and got warranty of 6 month. They Have not given me the bill as well as are not giving reply properly.

                    i have given my battery for replacement to nokia service centre unfortunately i have lost the job sheet and given an FIR for the same and handed over to the service centre manager

                    to my knowledge FIR is enough for him to give me the replacement i had purchased this battery by paying it through credit card

                    please let me know the procedure to go legal in customer court

                            I purchased Nokia 500 10days back from SHREEJI MOBILES THANE and all of sudden phone gets of not able to receive and dial call and display is totally blahnk.

                            when i call at store the owner told me that what will he do if phone is not working go to service centre.
                            at service centre they reset my phone and told due to some software issue the problem is happen.

                            At the time of purchasing phone the owner is like i will do this do that blah blah.............

                            PATHATIC SRVICES OFFER BY SHREEJI AND WORST MOBILE EVER.............

                              I purchased C2-03 handset 4 months back it was hanging always 5 to 6 time nokia care people have formatted my device and updated new software but issue didn’t solve, on 19th March 2012 I have given handset to nokia care JOB SHEET NO[protected]/120319/31 COMPLAINT NO 1-[protected] handset was repaired in nokia backend service factory Delhi Nokia people were telling handset is fully repaired and changed some components and I received handset on 29th march 2012 in bad condition handset was of full scratches and dirt and same day touch screen stopped working again on 30th march 2012 I submitted my handset to nokia care JOB SHEET NO[protected]/120330/24 COMPLAINT NO 1-[protected] now again nokia backed service people doing R&D on my mobile phone they have completely manipulated with the handset board touch screen Hence I won’t accept repaired handset


                              I WANT REPLACEMENT NO QUESTION OF ACCEPTING THE REPAIRED HANDSET SINCE 19TH MARCH 2012 I M NOT USING HANDSET MY TIME, WARRANT PERIOD OF HANDSET IS GOING WASTE.

                                Nokia C3 Mobile was purchased on 03/04/2011. On 13/10/2011 a complaint was raised on touch screen issue and was addressed to Global access and Nokia. Nokia care charged 950Rs for replacing the screen and after few months i.e, as of 03/31/2012 the screen issue reocurred and a complaint was raised on 04/02/2012 to global access. On 04/03/2012 Nokia again claims that it is a physical damage and screen will be replaced only after making a payment of 950Rs

                                Hi Team,

                                Please note that after me calling Nokia Care yesterday and today, i have been hearing that we need to Pay 550Rs to get the screen replaced. I am really upset with the level of service provided by Nokia at this point.

                                This handset belongs to my brother in law (Arun Kumar Shetty) the one who is cc'd in this email. I had influenced my Brother in law to procure the Nokia handset, since i have been using only Nokia from ages. Based on the recent experience, going forward i would not recommend any one to procure/purchase Nokia Handset.

                                We would not have hesitated to make the payment, if the issue was from our side. But the issue purely belongs to Nokia Handset which undergoes same issue twice in a year.

                                Your immediate action is much appreciated.

                                  I am, Dr. Naitik Trivedi from vallabha vidyanagar, i have purchased Nokia C6 mobile on 28/03/2011 of the rupees 13687 with one years warranty and i have also taken another 1 year extended warranty from nokia care. Now i am face problem in my nokia C6 model and its belt is not working properly because of that problem when some body call me or i am calling to other the voice will be hear in speaker mode other than handset mode. so i went to nokia service center at anand because my mobile is on warranty but their, they siad that belt is not under the warranty. so i said when u have given me extended warranty or i have taken the extended warranty that time u didn't said me that belt is not under the warranty and because of that i have taken the extended warranty other wise what is the need to give 499 rs just for warranty of software which is also repair or upgrade by me through my laptop also.
                                  I have trust in nokia that's why i purchased nokia but i[censored] not satisfied the customer and customer service than it put bad image in my mind...

                                  its not a matter of money its the matter of trust. The repairing cost is not much more higher which i will not afford but its the matter of satisfaction.

                                  on 15 Noverber 2008 display of this mobile is not working. and moblie screen looking black. when i go to Nokia Care center he told me that ur phone not repaired under warrenty while moblie is still in warrenty period. kindly give me proper justice.
