I have using N73 set for last oneyear.My problem is .sis file for mobile theme.i have download a .sis file from a website and download in my PC, then transfer the file in memory card of set through DATACABLE.But the.sis file is showing UNABLE TO OPEN in my set when want to install it..please suggest me a way solve this problem.
my files are also not opening...
I dont know why the downloaded themes in sis files does not instal in my nokia N73.it shows certificate expired when i install it.Give of a solution how to install the downloaded themes.
I have using n73 set. My problem is that when i run .sis file in my set then it shows .sis file not supported on your phone and i also use it to download through my PC and the problem is same. So plz plz suggest me.

      Dear Sir,
      I have given my phone in nokia care in noida sec-2, for the replacement of joy stick as it was very hard to move on, but what they did is took my phone for 12 days, they didn't replaced the joystick, even they made my phone's camera switch unable to work,
      i have been continuously asking them the reason behind this.
      but with no reply,
      now i have given my phone to nokia care in Roorkee Distt Haridwar.
      Wht i want is that my phone should be replaced, as the fault was with your customer care and they should be liable for this

        Dear Sir,

        I have been using Nokia phones almost 7-8 years and am quite happy with Nokia phone. But recently am facing some porblem with my phone. I purchased a new nokia 6300 phone in last Jan 08 and the same was working quite nice, but unfortunately the camara was not working (showing operation failed) recently I went to your dealer "Saksham Serices" in Mayur Vihar - Phase I, they opened the phone for checking as soon as they opend the phone the display went off and the phone was started over heating.

        They said they want to send the same to Nokia centre and the same will returned in 10-12 days. I was in touch with them every 2 days and one day they advised me nokia returned the phone as they found some Liquid on it, am quite surprice to hear the same as the phone was using only myself and I keep the same always in the leather cover which I got with the phone.

        I request them what should I do, they said they charge Rs 150/ to open and check if they can repair the same incase any parts need to chage I have to pay the same. I had given the go ahead as I do not have any other option. After two days they advised me that the total charge is Rs 1500/- but will charge only Rs 980/- from me because my complaint was only the camara rest was their fault while opening.

        I paid Rs 980/ and collected my phone. But I would like to understand why "THEY CHARGE ME RS 980/ WHILE MY PHONE WAS UNDER GURRANTY".

        There was only a small problem "camara not working" otherwise my phone was working in very good condition.

        I have paid Rs 980/- and collected my phone because I do not have any other phone to use, and buying a new phone not a logic for 2weeks.

        Requesting you to pls look in to this serious issue urgently and inform your dealer to return my money back.

        Incase you need any details ie service job sheet or bill from them pls let me know. I have all the details with me

            i am staying in the State of Chattisgarh, Dist.               MOTHER BOARD PROBLEM
              Dear Sir,

              Problem : Only nokia shown .

              We have given our mobile at ss electronics, shop no basement 22&23hardy complex, mg road, opp chermas -secuderabad .an authorised service centre of nokia .
              job sheet no:[protected]/080508/17 dt : 8-5-08

              they kept it for 3 months and did not do anything .
              after that we have taken back on 23-11-08 .

              they say that they do not have the mother board to replace . we ahve purchased mobile with rs 12, 000
              at nokia priority but your services are very pathetic and useless .

              it is a shame for a company like nokia do not have spares for the n70 model.

              PLEASE REPLY IMEDIATELY OR I WILL GO TO PUBLISH IN NEWS PAPER WITH DETAILS TO PUBLIC

              i have a nokia n 70 music eddition purchesed in sharja at dec.2007.now i am at india.suffering many problums from your product. iam compaliant many times by net &nearest nokia service centre

              Im a resident of warangal city, Andhrapradesh. I recently went to Nokia Customer Care located in K.R & M.S Reddy complex, Chowrastha, Hanamkonda, Warangal. for a software problem in my mobile and the people at the customer care billed me 800/- for the repairing, then i said to make it. And the next day when i went to the care they replied its not possible to repair this phone, its dead phone and no one can repair this piece. When i gave my mobile it was displaying well when i make its battery charging, but when i received it from the person it was not even displaying. The story doesnt ends here, I then went to other mechanic and infront of me he opened the board, and was shocked seeing the board, because the board inside the piece is that which he recently repaired and stated that this is already a repaired and unusefull board. And i came to know that the people inside that care centre are cheating the people and selling the boards personally for a huge rates to outside people.
              Now through this mail i sincerely ask you to justify me. Is it a proper way customer care persons dealing with the people. we come with a trust and hope, and you people cheating the public. I hope you justify me and take proper actions on the concerned branch people.

                Dear Sir,
                I bought Nokia 5610 Xpress music mobile set with IMEI no [protected]
                set in feb 2008. Suddenly in May, the slider key came out. and due to my busy schedule, i could not get it repaired. In July, the display started flickering and some alien lines appear on screen and I cant see anything. after few second or minute, it gets ok. I gave it to Nokia Care and they kept it for 15 days and returned it saying, its ok. Again the problem came in Nov 2008 and I again took the phone to nokia care. They charged me Rs 3400 claiming that there is liquid damage whereas I explained them that slider key and display cant get affected by that as I never took this phone in water but they didnt agree. As per them they changed display and I got the phone back after 1 week. After 3-4 days again the same display problem came. I again took the phone to Nokia care and they asked my the same amount again, On my explaining them the whole issue and my frustration, they took it as Repeat problem. Again I got it back after 7-8 days and they assured me its fine now. Again after 1 week, I am facing same problem. I have a very busy schedule and cant keep visiting nokia care centre and everytime i have to wait there for 45 minutes till physical check. I am very upset as nokia has been my priority for past 10 years now. Please help me out as I m badly frustrated. In the meantime I had to purchase another phone which again costed me 2500/-. I faced lot of money loss. Please please help me out.

                I called them up for 5 times and finally they said my mobile was ready on 9th Dec 2008. I went to the shop on 10 th Dec 2008 @ 9.30 A.M to collect it. I checked my mobile and the first problem that I have reported (Headset not connected / working) was not solved. The guy tried till 10.30 A.M and took my mobile back and promised to give me in the evening. I went in the evening to check the status and they said i will get it 2 days.

                After repeated attempts i called them on 12th Dec and they said its ready.I went to the shop on 13th Dec to get the mobile. The problem wasnt still solved. It does not require a scientist to check whether the problem was solved. It just requires one to connect the headset and play a song.

                The in-charge promised to give it to me on 16 th Dec. I didnt go there on 16th but called them up and the guy told me that the mobile was sent to headquarters and i have to wait another 2 days. I called them up on 18th again and i had fight with in-charge who told me that it takes 5 days for the mobile if it goes to headquarters.

                Finally i called them up on 24th Dec 2008 and spoke with the manager who gave me his name "Chandru" who told me that my mobile was sent to head quarters on 22nd Dec only and i have to wait for long..

                I havent recieved my mobile still

                  A CORRECTION TO THE SUBJECTMY PREVIOUS COMPLAINT
                  Sir,
                  The seal to the packet containing any brand new set of NOKIA cell phone reads "If the seal is broken, contact the dealer". Interestingly, I told the gentle man in the counter of the Nokia Authorised dealer, Roorkee that I wanted to buy a particular set costing Rs. 6790/-.
                  In the discussion while looking at the dummies of various models, the person had told me that Nokia's survey revealed that about 80% of the Nokia sets sold in the market were not genuine and impressed me to buy from an authorised dealer. This added to my suspicion and I wanted to buy a set within a packet whose seal was intact. Then the gentleman in the counter opened out 3 sets of that model of 3 colours and asked me to make a choice. I said I would like to buy the white steel body set with a packet whose seal was intact. He refused saying he had no extra set in sealed packets and added that even if he had a similar one in a sealed packet he would only sell me the one which is open and not the one in the sealed cover. Alas! NOKIA prints on the seal "If the seal is broken, contact the dealer" and the authorised dealer insists he would not spare the one whose seal is intact. This happens only in India?

                      Nokia E71 The Bloody Business Phone, Also Nokia the dirtiest brand that I have ever come across and its employees the worst in case of customer centricity and responsiveness.

                      I picked up a Nokia E71 phone from a Nokia Priority dealer at Koramangala in Bangalore. This was on 21st Oct 2008 and I had shelled out 22K INR for this brand new business phone which Nokia claims will satisfy all your business needs- Yes that is true it satisfied their(Nokia's) business needs and not mine. It has killed my time and every now and then it had one or the other problems like call drops, hanging, lose of data stored on the phone / memory card etc.Ihad to give this phone for repair at Samravathi Technologies, a Nokia service center atleast 4 times in the last 1 month and 15 days. The worst part is that this Samravathi Technologies like all other Nokia Care centres does not have a Manager. Its engineer’s are'nt qualified. They only know to reinstall the software!! and the phone is isn't getting better after that too. The receptionists does not know how to handle customers, they even do not speak proper English. Every time I took my handset over there they told me to take a backup of the data on the phone cos their policy does not allow them to take backup. Let me ask you one thing, how can Nokia sell this phone in the market, which I believe do not meet any quality norms/standards. Also this being a business phone, one would always store and use business/personal data on this, just like we do in a laptop. How can a phone that is always in service centres be used to store data, how can we trust it and save our data.

                      Secondly the Nokia Call Center/ customer care is the one that I doubt will be there in any part of the world. They never follow up on the complaints I gave them. They used to tell me that they or sometimes their manager / Floor manager would revert my call by say after 48 hrs, before 3 O' clock etc. They gave me promises 5 times atleast and they never got back and when I asked for a point for escalation they told that they are there to help and that there is no other point of escalation. Every call I made to these customer care centres lasted for about 25 mins, so 25mins * 5 times = 125mins. I wasted this much time / money alone for getting a response but without they still has not provided any resolution to this issue. I have kept the NOKIA E71 in my showcase just to show my friends / family and future generation about the great phones that Nokia has and launches for customers like us to decorate the showcases and not for communication / business purposes.

                      NOKIA E-71 — FREQUENT HANG OFF

                      MY NOKIA E-71 PURCHASED FROM DUBAI LAST YEAR NOV IS FREQUENTLY HANGING OFF. ONLY AFTER REMOVING THE BATTERY AND REINSTALLING THE PHONE WORKS AGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY WARRANTY CARD BILL IS LOST. IF YOU COULD DO SOMETHING REGARDING THIS IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

                      Blocking the usage of phone visa IMEI numbers is not in the hands of the service provider.

                      Its in the hands of Assistant commissioner of police or equivalent cadre. You need to file a FIR with local police station and then need to approach Cyber crime police with the same FIR.

                      Then your phone will be blocked.

                      Nokia E71 — Pathetic E71 with its Nokia Priority service

                      I have purchased a Nokia E 71 it was working properly for eight months and then it started showing its true colours it started shutting down automatically and hanging frequently and after some time problem worsened and phone was not getting ON with its ON/OFF button .
                      I gave my phone for repair at nokia care they told me it will take around One week.I had given the phone for reparing on 15.09.09 and till date (i.e 28.10.09) i have not recd. the phone from them every time i am told new problem and funniest thing is they told me that parts are not avilable for E 71 .

                      I will suggest each and every person not to purchase nokia phone they are taking us for granted.Nokia is having only name not service no product quality .Chinese mobile are better then nokia atleat they last for 1 year.

                          Dear Team Nokia

                          I have purchased a mobile st 7610s (Super Nova ) on 9th NOV 08 from THE MOBILE STORE via bill no AP/01178/00001/1262. To my concern i have taken the cell to the Nokia care service centre (MOBIQUEST) in Ameerpet Hyderabad twice from the day of purchase in first case they confirmed the cell is ok and after a long followup they confirmed me that the sliider is not working as the model is new the spare parts has not come to the service centre (I WAS SHOCKED TO KNOW THAT HOW CAN A MODEL COME TO MARKET WITHOUT THE SPARE PART BEING SENT TO THE SERVICE CENTRES) I waited for more than a week for the same.

                          Again 2day i went to the service centre with the same complaint and the suggestion was quite interesting this happens in quite a few handsets and we cannot do anything, after a long time they were convinced and taken the mobile for service and asked me to wait for 15 to 20 days.(JOB SHEET NO[protected]/081205/80)
                          AND ( WARRANTY REF NO - APINY[protected]

                          One logic is clear that the attitude to service is not up to the mark.Again why should one go without a phone for such a long time when the defect is a purely manufacturing deffect.

                          Hence request you to kindly take the issue seriously and replace a new handset or give the option to choose a new cell.

                          your early responce will be highly appreciated.

                          i agreed with saujendra.. coz without spare parts releasing a model is foolishness. i too purchased the same nokia 7610s on 23rd jan'09. still there is no problem. please respond his(saujendra's) compalint as soon as possible. otherwise people never believe NOKIA in future.

                            I had given my phone for repairing to HCL NOKIA CARE(A-78 sector -2 noida) on dated[protected]job sheet no [protected])with the problem of NO NETWORK and they told me that they will send it to Banglore for repairing and i received my phone on 15-10-08 but after two days problem comes again NO NETWORK. then i had contect again to HCL but they told me that this office is closed now you may contact MICRONAS TELECOM(C-4 sector-2 noida). I had again given my phone to microns telecom for same problem on 17-10-08 then they told me that they will send it to Banglore for repairing and i received my phone on 15-11-08 but next day problem remain same then again i have submit this phone to micronas telecom on 18-11-08 my job sheet no is[protected]/081118/105
                            Today i have visited MICRONAS TELECOM to collect my phone then they are saying this phone is tampered and you had repaired it outside now we can't repair this phone.This is to inform you this phone is under WARRANTY so no need to be checked out side.so pl change my phone immidately.

                              My wife Mrs. Neeluma. A. Raj had purchased a Nokia mobile hand set from one of their dealers at Trivandrum in September 2008. This was given to my daughter for her use, which she got spoiled by getting it wet. We had given it for service under oput of warranty to the Nokia Care centre at Powerlink vide Jobsheet No 7816 dated 10/11/2008.

                              I have been regularly enquiring about the status of the repair but to no avail. I had contacted them atleast 5 times and every time the female voice at the other end will keep saying that she will call back in half an hour and tell about the status which seldom happens except the last time because I asked her name. After two week s of giving the mobile they said that it has to be send to the factory and it will cost approximately Rs.1200/- which I agreed. But on calling up yesterday to find out the status these issues about their service was highlighted by me and they then rang me up back and said that the hand set cannot be repaired. Today when I took delivery of the same the explanation given is that as there is accute shortage of spares that too of an in vogue model it sounds really strange. The service executive says due to the Econamic meltdown in the west the supply of spares has been severely effected. Please take up the issue with the Nokia authorities and get my fairly new handset repaired for which I am willing to pay the cost incurred for the same. Thanking you in anticipation.

                              Nokia — repair of mobile model 3110C

                              I got a nokia mobile repaired on 09.11.09 GSM. through Sheetla WLL service, old Delhi road Opp Plaza solitare gurgaon. keypad IC change,system connector totalbill along with taxes 1865/- today 10.11.09 the mobile is non functional again after paying so much I was told today it cannot be repaired Why was'nt I told this yesterday.

                              First of all kindly let me know if they r authorised nokia dealers or not?

                              Nokia — Non availability of spares or no supply at all

                              Dear Sir
                              Earlier I had lodged a complaint in the same site stating that I had a Nokia E7 phone with Bluetooth.
                              Subsequently I had also mentioned that the ear tag of the blue tooth got broken due to its flimsy finish.(with 3 months)

                              On looking for a solution to get an ear tag, I had to run between the dealer and Nokia service center at Bangalore and the end result was that I should buy a new Bluetooth as ear tag’s are not sold separately.
                              Which means I will have to shell out Rs1200 and buy a new one?

                              Objective of Nokia was very clear.

                              Give cheap attachments along with the product and make the customer come back to buy new one’s.
                              Interestingly for the last complaint, I got a call from a customer care agent, who did not tell from where and from where I can get this ear tag, it was courtesy call I presume, telling I will get back to you.

                              Friends, my humble request to all Keep away from Nokia products as they are not serious about their customers. It is the hype that is making us go for their products.
                              Look for products which have good customer care and I mean seriously “Customer care” and those who do not tax the customer to its core.

                              In my case I lost Half day at work, burnt 3 Ltrs of Petrol , strained in Blr traffic on chasing for a simple solution which actually should not have coasted me more than Rs 30 if it was made available in the local market.
                              A simple plastic component, which is not made available by Nokia.

                              If I can spend on X6 Phone 16 K with cash down payment, then it is the moral responsibility of Nokia to supply the spares for the product that I purchased from them.

                              If I fail to get a favorable answer to this issue, I am going to lodge a formal complaint with consumer forum,CFBP and put forward awareness note in facebook and twitter.
                              I would like to return the phone and have my money refunded with no interest. I mean it I do not want any interest, just refund my money and take back the phone as it is very much in warranty.

                              I am Setting in 7 days for the responsible people of Nokia to respond, if not I will be forced to take those which I presume is correct for justification.

                                I want to inform u that i have purchase a new handset-N73 on 05/11/2008. But it give me the problem due to hang on daily basis i have already gone to nokia care in khanna (PB) 3times. They repair my mobile but after that i have face the same problem again and again.So plz solve my problem or change my hand set asap.
                                I want to tell u one thing more when i have serviced my mobile in nokia care due to his ignorance my phone memory backup was lost pls solve it also.

                                    i bought nokia3110c on 22/1/2008. and the problem of Restarting occurs after one month... and i already uploaded Software 4or5 times in last 8 or 9 month and there is still same type of problem occurs... many times i told to the custmor servies centre sec22 Chandigarh...and they every time uploaded new software...and i am really get disturbed when these type of problem occures again and again and request NOKIA to please do the needfull and do not waste its customer's money and customer's faith in nokia brand

                                    First of all u should check your phone memory if it is full delete some items to create more space.then delete all the themes that u dowloaded, dont store any game or application to phone memory.do these things in memory card.use themes which are already in phone.dont change themes frequently.try these thing and u would be able to experience the restarting free phone.go ahead

                                      i m not satisfied with ur service, it is really bad servies and no body is giving full satisfaction and not giving good response, i went to ur service center (bakshi nagar jammu) they r not repairing my set in time and giving time on time but not in time service, and we have also given set nokia 7610, it was in warranty, it has software problem, we gave it for repairing but its fault was not completely removed, after warrenty it is also creating same fault and we give this set for repairing and they charged Rs 850, but it is not working proper after 15 days and they are not completely satisfied us with their service and they are not taking set for repairing, they have given time 1month more warrenty after repairing it with charge money but it is not taking it, now, it has gone near about 50 days, i have also another set it is also in warrenty and it is not working properly even we have given it for repairing, and i have seen that person came there and are not satisfied their service, i m going to consumer against ur bad service and friends also going for it, and nokia care staff (bakshi nagar jammu) doesnot have good way of talking to customer, they talk in a rude manner even it is their fault, my friend and i m waiting for ur response, ur nokia care center head ( bakshi nagar jammu (j&k)), he is not good person, when i went to him, he doesn't give and response, plz take accurate action against it, i will be very thankful to u for this act, otherwise we have decided we will go consumer court for this unsatisfied service and bad way of talking with their customer
