my family was go to shopping on trivandrum shop on 20/4/16 my wife selected a sari and need lining meteerial for the same sari she go to the counter their was no rush on the time only one costumer standing their my wife ask the salesman to give me the meteerial but no response from his side she was waiting for 15 minute and ask the sales man to why not attending me he reply you can complaint against me no problem my name is AYAPPAN I have no problem sir, what is the sistum of your shop

    Respected sir, 9/1/16 I am Dani chacko staying in Qatar, my family visited pothys and bought a trimmer (vega) worth rs.999, (bill no. 16/E/248896) . after my family brought it to my home, the blades were seperated and it was a used trimmer before by someone .today my family went to pothys for complaining about this, but your salesmen said that it was a physical damage from our side and was not interested in our complaint .please do replace or return our money.please take neccessary action. email id :- [protected]@gmail.com mobile no. :- [protected] thank you.

      I had recently purchased 4 otto shirts from Pothys, Trivandrum. But the cloth in the first wash I found the colors are lost. its really annoying after spending 4000 rupees for the shirt I am getting such a nasty product., I need to take action on that.       Dear Team,

      Recently I purchased OTTO shirt from your store located at kottayam on August 15 th.But unfortunately after 1st wash colour disappeared and white patch completely on shirt.Now it is of no use at all.COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

      Yesterday I visited the store with the Shirt along with the bill. Representatives was asking me several questions how it happened. So far we have not received any complaint as such.

      After viewing the same they told me to wait for atleast 30 mnts as their senior was unavailable.After a while I again visited and spoke with the senior available there.He informed me that company people has to take decision about the shirt, they will be visiting the store next week not exactly "sure". Don't allow us to enter into social media and stuff.

        Hello, I'm Nishara from Houston, Texas, USA. I was in Chennai only for 2 days and wanted to do shopping, so I went to pothys at GN Chetty road and there were no other customers except me. I went to 4th floor chuditaar section and bought a chuditar which was Rs.11395. I did a trial and most of the employers who work in the 4th floor saw me wearing that and they said, "it looks good on you". IT WAS PERFECT SIZE AND FITTING VERY WELL ON ME. So I bought it and left from Chennai. But what happened is, I wore the same on the next day for a function and it immediately started tearing one by one at each places. I immediately packed that and sent it to one of my cousin who lives in Chennai. They took it to Pothys on the 4th day of my purchase and explained the situation. But they were not ready to replace or pay back the money. They left from Pothys after several arguments. No use! Then I sent my brother who works in Chennai and he met the General Manager D.Chandrasekar and the purchasing manager Ramesh. They said, "they can send it to the company 'Karishma' (Chuditar brand) at Bombay. They will decide whether they can replace or not. But Pothys cannot do anything on this." My brother gave them a chance to send it to Bombay. My brother mentioned them that, we should get it back on or before June 10th because my sister is flying back to Houston on June 11th. But after 2 days my brother called them again to follow-up and came to know from Ramesh that they did not send it to Bombay even after 2 days. Then they said they will definitely send it on that day. But we are dam sure that they never send it to Bombay at Karishma. We tried to reach this GM and PM several times, the mobile was ringing and they never responded. Ramesh's official number was misusing by a lady. When I called Ramesh's number, some lady attended the call and said, you have to call to Pothys landline, not to this mobile number. Then why do they give this mobile number as a contact number online? I tried to call to Pothys landline and someone called Kannan at Jewellery section attended the call and he wanted to help me and he was helpless. Atleast he informed the GM to attend my call as I was calling from the US. Horrible days to follow-up with these kind of people for almost a month. They never send the chuditar to Karishma and they were keeping it at Pothysfor 4 weeks. Then after several follow-ups, I decided to get the thing back. We told the GM and PM that we will give a case to the consumer court and they said - 'GO AND GIVE'. With their permission, we are complaining to the consumer court. Pothys will lose customers, if they are treating customers like this and we are not satisfied and happy by dealing with such situation. Finally they did not pay back or stich it. I have a torn chuditaar. My loss is Rs.11395. Their response was - some fatty girl tried to wear it, that is the reason it got torn. How come a girl will gain weight within a day? They saw me wearing that chuditaar at their place. Even we showed them the picture of me wearing that chuditaar on the second day of purchase. We will definitely check with Karishma at Bombay, whether this case ever went to them or not! I'm sure that, a big company like Karishma will never do this and they will try to satisfy the customers. They are not unprofessional like Pothys. My friends, family members and any of the Indians from Houston, Texas or in India will never go to Pothys anymore. I have already informed the people via facebook, watzapp and other online websites. No wonder, why there were no customers at Pothys when I went there. I was not aware that Pothys is not good anymore. After this incident, I came to know from others that 'Who will go to Pothys - selection sucks big time and everything is pricy compare to other shops'. I'm happy with Chennai Silks, Saravanas Stores etc, but NOT POTHYS. Not thinking to go to Pothys anymore at any branches anywhere in this world. Too much tension and horrible people like this said GM and PM. By the way the Chuditaar I bought was too expensive and I was not aware that I will get the same for 5k from other shops. Request you to take further action about this case and Pothys should know how the customers will react. I need a refund of Rs.11395. I cannot use that chuditaar anymore. Cannot even stich and use it anymore. That cloth was too old and Pothys were keeping that for long time without any sale. Otherwise, how come a new cloth will tear, just like that! We gave them enough time to resolve the problem and they were not ready to help on this and they did not care. But I cannot leave this amount just like that. Sale date:[protected] CIN: U5232LIN2014PT6096278 (Not clear on the bill) Bill No shows as E H3 (Nothing else) TIN:[protected] Chuditaar given to Pothys on[protected] and collected back on 24/06/2015. They were keeping it without fixing it for a month. They did not have a proof of any courier sent it to Karishma. Why did they give us fake hope? Even I couldnot bring it back to the US on time. I will never take that back from India, because that is useless. I made the payment by my US chase credit card ends with 8303 and the amount in dollars was $179.89.           Iam a regular Customer of Pothys, Boutique&Pothys TNagar Chennai.For availing shopping for gift voucher worth Rs200 which Pothys sent as gift for my wedding anniversary, Me.My Mother and one year Kid went to Pothys Boutique showroom on 02/05/15 by 6.30 pm.We purchased Kurtis at fourth floor by redeeming my coupon.After that we came to Basement.In the bag section while searching for bags at basement, I have noted time in my watch as 8.45pm, Iam remembering.After that we came to Ground Floor.There I got gift for my shopping.Just I stepped down I looked on my hand for noting time, then I came to know that I lost my watch.There was a mark in my hand of my watch.I complained in Complaints Department at the entrance of Pothys.They collected my phone no and I went to CCCTV room.But the time was around 10pm So they hurrily checked.But Iam not satisfied.I think they can see where it fell down by following my path.Iam wearing a blue salwar with majenta Shawn and a apple green bag.I telephoned the next day also to know whether they got my lost watch.but they told they didnt & CCT cant zoom.They told if they get they will in form me.I will oblige you If I came to know whether I will get/not get my watch.Iam attaching photo of my watch.               Hi my name is midhun By mistake i purchase a laptop lenovo G580 from your trivandrum showroom life style 5th floor on 27/04/2015 Now the lap is not working i walk to lenovo service center they said that as the machine was manufactured in the year of 2012 kindly contact your dealer for same . so i go to your store and they take over the product for service on the 27/3/2015 one Mr Vipin signed and sealed on the bill and said that wait for one week the will resolve the issue i agreed it then after call Vipin for status no one taking calls and if the pick call irresponsible talk with me the blaiming others and giving numbers of supervisors Mr Ramakrishnan no: [protected] and [protected] i dont know his name because till now he is not pick the call and Mr Ramakrisnan said that dead line date on yesterday 13/04/2015 now he is not pick the call is it my mistake that a product purchase from your shop .

                I brought one titan watch from pothys trivandram but very next moth found watch is not working i inform the particular sales man .and i give the same time for repair my watch date of -12/02/2015 .they are not follow up situation my watch have one year warranty .if my watch is not get with in 2 days i will going through consumer court and i have right to claim

                  We went for purchase today. We purchased in different floors. We requested for single bill all floors bill together as I need to do credit card purchase and convert to EMI. In each and every floor they made us to walk to the some floor in charge and tell the reason for single bill. Starting from third floor to ground floor. In the ground floor one guy came and asked the same reason told the same to him and he said if we purchase this way exchange is not possible. He spoke in a way like his the owner and he is was very adamant in his words. There was no politeness at all. Very bad experience today.

                    i purchased a ironing table used for ironing the clothes 31/01/2015. at the time of purchasing the product the sales girl told me that there was only one unit was there which was used used as demo piece hence they were selling that at reduced price of 1500 rs. she also told me that there was no complaint to that product.                       After having an happy shopping experience for nearly 40000rs in tirunelveli., went to the super mall for extra purchase which they gave as bonus rupees for purchase. The old ladies who used to put band for our materials gave us two covers with band, still a bag with silk saree was left, so she put a band on the or bag itself. After purchasing and once we came out found our bag with silk saree missing. Once we complianed with the security, he searched the places and found the bags lying in a corner in an perfect manner., not in a manner as though it has fallen by mistake. two staffs were standing as though they dont know anything, which was clearly visible. Looks like some mole in disguise of staff is in pothys trying to steal our sarees. This has lead to mental agony, as we had come to purchase for an spritual pur giving an bad sign.my suggesion to the pothys is engage young and energetic in Imptartant areas and to reduce crowd in super mall. you just have lost n customer for 30yrs, mr pothi...

                        I am Dr Suguna (MBBS, MD) working as Assistant professor in a medical college, Pondicherry. We had been to Pothys, Pondicherry on 17.10.2014 around 5 pm with my friend who is also a Doctor. After our purchase in the garment section for about Rs 1500, we went up to the supermarket section (fourth floor) to shop for our discount money of Rs 26/- But during the process of looking for Rs 26, we ended up purchasing items for Rs 478. When we came to the billing counter, the biller who was a female with a blonde hair, checked and billed our items. When the bill was about to be printed, i realised that i didn't provide her with the discount bill (Rs 26). Sooner i intervened and gave her the bill, for which she denied to include in the original bill (Rs478). When i asked her politely about what can be done now, she gave a very sarcastic reply " ADHELLAM INCLUDE PANNA MUDIYATHU, BILL CLOSE PANNIYACHU" . Then i asked her again what can i do with the bill now, she again said rudely and sarcastically in Tamil, " ANGA POI YEDHAVADHU CHAAT ITEMS VAANGI SAAPTUKONGA". After the final billing, we had to receive a balance of Rs 22, for which she gave a POPPINS worth Rs 2 without our consent and put in our bag. We were really pissed off with her bahaviour, and again purchased a KIT KAT dark chocolate worth Rs 25 in exchange for our discount coupon, and we still had a balance of Rs 1, for which she replied " INNUM Rs1 BALANCE IRUKU, YEDHAVADHU THINGS EDUTHUTU VANGA". We walked out of the supermarket since we were irritated by her foul behaviour. We also complained orally to the customer care in the same floor. We also registered a written complaint in the ground floor and spoke to the incharge person.But no actions have been taken yet. The very purpose of lodging this complaint is that, 1. the bad behaviour and arrogant attitude of the staff should be dealt with 2. it showed the height of disrespect towards people 3. if educated people like doctors can be humiliated this way, then wat is the state of poor illiterate people

                          We have purchased 2nos sarees from pothys cross cut road gandhipuram coimbatore. Sales personnel didn't check for any damage in the purchased material instead they said that there won't be any complaints in it. But there were several damages in the purchased sarees and for stitching we cut the edges. While stitching only we found the damage in it. When we tried to return them in the shop the sales personnel behaved in worst behaviour and said that we have cut the blouse piece from that saree. We orgued honestly that we didn't cut it. Finally the manager too didn't accept to exchange it. It was a clean cheating and we were upset that we lost our money and hard work.

                            sir, i purchased on 09.08.2014 in puducherry pothys for rs. 2796 in second floor, bill no. E380. i swiped my Debit card Indian Bank ATM once, it was slow, the man at the counter told me to do it the second time and the amount was debited. After few days, I took a mini statement and i found tha the amount was debited twice. I called your shop and they told me to complaint in the customer care. I went to my Indian Bank branch in Villupuram and complained. it is more than 45 days that i lodge the complaint, but still there is no reply from your side. Kindly do the needful and refund my money of Rs.2796 instantly.

                              I had purchased a lot of cloths for my marriage from thiruvananthapuram pothys showroom on 17.08 .14, while reaching home I found that my wedding shirt was unfit for me, so I went to pothys show room and demanded replacement for the same but they insulted me and ask to pay extra charge for the product of same company and MRP.

                                For our christmas purchase we went to pothys. We almost had purchased in major shops in pondicherry. We had purchased in KUMARAN SILKS, RAM SILKS, SATHYAM SILKS, AVANTHIKA & so on. In those shops the materiels are not displayed so that we can we can see and choose, there the staffs they take and show the materiels if we need to choose some spesific colour we need to spread the whole place & that will be disturbance to others, So only for that reason we go to POTHYS, but in some reason we need to rush this purchase due to rain, we planned for KID, & LADIES session, so in CHUDI session we brought 2chudi fro worth 2750/- but after comming home we saw the 1chudi was damaged in its stiching at inside and it was not in proper shape, & one more chudi was found to be missing of back design in chudi top, So we planed to go and exchange. First the supervisor saw and said hand was stiched so it could not be changed, next chudi he said the model its self like that so they cant change, then after so much time thay take the chudi here & there and making a scean then thay said THEY WILL CHANGE THE CHUDI WHICH WAS BACK DESIGN MISSING, in that chudi since it is cotton they took it because there is NO FAULT, but in next chuddi(SHIFFON) since the stiching was irregular and not good WE HAD BEEN CHEATED AND WE TOOK THAT, THEY SAID SINCE HAND IS STICHED IF IT IS REMOVED IT WILL BE SEEN HOLES SO OTHERS WOULD NOT TAKE. BUT NEXT DAY PATIENTLY WE REMOVED THE HAND AND WE PRESSD THE HAND IT IS SO CLEAR AND THERE IS NO HOLES SEEN. . . BUT NOW THE SUPERVISOR SAID HAND IS SMALL AND IT CANT BE CHANGED BUT SEVERAL TIMES THEY ALTERING AND PUSHING THE DAMAGED CHUDI BUT NOT ACCEPTING THEIR FAULT. KINDLY FRIENDS PLEASE BE SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO CARE FULL WITH THIS GUYS TRICKY AND SMART GUYS CHEATERS TEHY DO ALL NONSENCE TO SELL THEIR PRODUCT. WHAT DO THEY GET FROM THIS. DOES CHANGING OF CHUDI WILL LEAD TO ANY LOSS FOR THEIR REVENUE. BUT NOW I SAY NO MORE WE WILL BE THERE AGAIN OUR PURCHASE OF 16000/- PER YEAR WILL BE LOSING TO THEM, EVEN THOU THAT IS NOT A GREAT LOSE TO THEM WE WONT RECOMMEND POTHYS TO ANY ONE MORE. IF YOU NEED TO PURCHASE IN PONDICHERRY KINDLY PREFERE ANY OTHER SHOPS RATHER THEN POTHYS the cheaters.

                                  one time i was purchase chutithar in madurai pothys, before purchase i asked sales man chudithar now purchase but not satisfaction to my family members then i will xchange it, manager said sure sir u can xchange any branch of pothys, my native place tirunelveli so i came in tirunelveli ,then i were go to the tirunelveli POTHYS sir xchange the chutithar, chuti section manager said chuti purchase from which branch same branch u can xchange then i am fight with manager then xchange it

                                    I purchased a casual shirt for Rs.1375. While I took the shirt from the gallery there was a discount tag of 15% on it. When I billed for it there was nothing deducted for the discount. When I checked with the packed product, the tag was removed. I immediately inquired with the person in charge he gave some lame reasons without proper respect. I will never enter POTHYS again.

                                      BEWARE OF THE DRESS MATERIALS YOU PURCHASE FROM POTHYS , CHENNAI.

                                      I was surprised that how come a famous/well known cloth store in Metro could sell cheap dress materials at high cost nearly Rs.1000. i brought a cloth material it got faded when i was wearing it for the first time and when i tried to wash it the cloth got fully faded. I'm sure, its their mistake but as a customer I made a loss. In-fact I exchanged the one which I bought originally due to quality. After exchange, even the second one didn't go well.It actually tore after my first wash, disappointed & not interested to exchange it again. I just left it there .However I wish to you all keep informed.

                                      Remember to double check the QUALITY, do not go with only FASHION or DESIGN.

                                        POTHYs - the worst experiences i have ever faced.....

                                        Situation 1: Planned to purchase some cloths in Pothys, T-nagar. After reached the crowded T-nagar via duraisamy subway, i managed to get into Pothys parking lot just opposite to that building. After parked the bike, the security persons informing me that, "you should show pothys purchase bill while getting the bike in return, otherwise you have to pay rs.100 fine" (really non-sense response i have ever heard). So, i asked, what would i do if i wont like & purchase anything in pothys, he said, "you ve to purchase minimum of rs.100, we invested crores of rupees in buying this parking lot opposite to our shop"... (wat wud we do if he invested in parking lot, Are they thinking that we people are nuts? And then he is saying, "if you are not able to purchase for even rs.100, dont come pothys".....

                                        Situation 2: Inspite of this, me, my brother and his wife went to the shop to complaint this incident and to purchase some shirt materials in 5th floor, after selected the clothes, we just stepped out of the floor to drink water with clothes in our hands, suddenly one security person, forcefully pulling the clothes from my hand and from my brother's wife's hand... thinking like we stolen the cloths, wat other people will think if dey do lik this.. dey dont know what is manners and how to behave with customers.. they cud have tell the way where billing is done instead of ill-treating like this.... then we thrown this shirt material and stepped out of the shop....

                                        After this, i have decided i will never purchase anything from Pothys and i will advise all my friends, relatives not to go this irresponsible shop ever again!

                                        I want to bring this to Pothys upper level management... So, whereever i can, i am posting my worst experience with Pothys...
