Updated by Harishms74 Yet again, Quikr have proven to be a firm that has indulged deeply into cheating and misleading the public. As this their default work ethic, no matter what effort they put in they are unable to rectify now. Deeply rooted into their work culture is the adaucity and casualness in treating their customers.
Despite following up on a pickup of an item that I wanted to sell which was slotted for a 12-2 pickup, they ended up not picking up on that day. They came for the pickup only by 1715 hrs when I was away. When enquired, The audacious Syed, a Quikr logistics personnel had to give out a lot of stories and when I requested him to wait for my return, he had to say that he could not make his driver wait on the roadside. Now this is the attitude that they have for us customers. They not only want to waste our time but also are simply not apologetic either.
When I spoke t the driver, I got to know that he got the routing from his logistics team at 1245 when my pickup was slotted for a 12-2 slot. When the call centre was asked of the delay by 220 pm, they just had to say that he will reach in another 2 hours. Whereas, the vehicle was physically not even out of their garages/ godowns.
A real good experience that is not worth living and breaking your head for. There are enough and more easier and better managed avenues that can be explored. Quikr can easily be given a miss.

Updated by Harishms74 I would be taking this opportunity to Thank Quikr heartfully for
1. Successfully converting my free ads to a premium one, not giving the promised service and making a big fat commission.
2. Not responding on time for a pickup slotted and making me wait till I had to call back for an update. All this under the very nose of a Quikr executive who was following up my case. The logistics person taken on conference had the audacity to inform me that he could not ask his driver to wait by the road side however he did not mind me, a customer waiting for the pickup from the morning.
3. The entire Quikr team had been misguiding me on the position of ice up whenever enquired.
4. Finally, money paid for the purchase is first transferred to a wallet only after delivery to be later transferred to an authorised bank account after due authentication. All this would take at least 8 to 10 working days. This amount would naturally help in showing the company in good light to improve upon their bottom lines and also inflate their bank balances and stick prices.
On the hindsight I realise that this 8 to 10 working days would invariably include at least one weeekend of 2 days and thus the money is blocked for 10 to 12 Das minimum. To add to this blocked time the delays in pickup and delivery will add to their bottom lines.
The delay when questioned was explained as a security reason.
Now Quikr, in India is concerned about security issues after selling themselves off to a Chinese investor. I wish these guys also take over the security of the nations integrity and borders.
One fine day we can all wake up to be in China.
