my relaince no is [protected] agra (up west)
my no was suddenly out of order, as i was unable to call. i was getting msg like thi "to resume service, pls call reliance customer care"
then i contacted customer care, they told me that there is no problem from their end. instead of checking anything, they were blaming my handset and asked me 5-6 times again and again to swithch-off and switch-on the handset, but i already checked with another sim that my handset was alrite. those customer care executives were really untrained, i don't know how and why relaince hire those kind of persons for their BPO.
After 1-2 day, i contacted reliance web world in agra, they told me that a duplicate sim has been issued to someone on my number. I asked them to resume my sim, but they asked me to refuse as no blank sim was dere.. i managed to purchase blank sim from grey market. and i spent about Rs 500 to resume my service after 1 week.
but how can they stop anyone's service without any prior notice..??
how can they issue a duplicate sim to anyone without taking any verifying any identity proof? if someone has taken new sim, the obviously he's not having the identity proof for the no [protected].
i'll definitely fire the case in the consumer court regarding this.
I'm a medical person, and my phone is so much important for me, as i need to call/ recieve urgent calls. and further it effected my studies a lot. in my family, 4 out of 5 persons are using relaince. all are totally frustrated with this service. we are using just because our no are old. but, we've purchased new airtel..
if reliance will be like this, soon everyone gonna switch to different network providers. i'm waiting for no portability service to start in India.
