hi,
i recently bought a micromax Q5c CDMA handset, i says that u need an OMH card to use data services (internet). on contacting the customer care they had no clue of what this mean, initially getting to the customer care was a big problem and then they gave all sorts of stupid answers...

how can i get an OMH card, can it be done retaining my current number??

Even I am facing the same problem, The phone is asking to upgrade to OMH card. If you go to Reliance World, they will refuse to give any assistance saying we do not have any tie up with Micromax. We do not support to Micromax.
I am having the same problem with the same handset, I am going to try this...Relaince Omh Sim Cost Rs.99 with Handset change card bundled. Available at Reliance web world
You need to upgreade to an OMH card, you easily can get it from market; might cost you aroung Rs 200.
Once you get this new OMH sim card go to relinace world and change the sim card no, your no will not change. Also ensure that when you purchase this card it should have a dimond symbol on it.
It worked for me, so hope will work for everyone.

    hello sir,
    I am vikram jain from guntur having reliance number [protected], on 29th last call i had balance of rs 188.59 rs but on 30th morning 1st call of talk for 5 mins my balance shown 107.09 rs that is 81.50rs will be deducted for local relainance to reliane 5 mins call so call d customer care and ask about 81.50rs dey tell me that 2.5rs will be deducted for call nd 39 rs will be deducted for sms pack but dey dont telll me d balance of rs 40rs wer will be gone.., daily dey will tell me only dat 39rs will be deduted for sms pack but i dont knwo hot it will be ., acording to reliance maths calculation 188.59-39-2.5=107.09...,,
    but i think in d whole world d calculation will be 188.59-2.5-39=147.09
    can u only tell me which calculation is write...,
    nd also i cant get correct responce from reliance customer care executive., i cant understand what todo..,
    as can i take any action on company, because d reliance company owner anil ambani is a big indirect pocket picker of indian public, if any thief will picka pocket of 100rs den our indian law police will punich d thief den y nobody can take action on anil ambany ....,

      Since I took my Reliance GSM sim, I am facing lot of problems regarding :
      1. Activation of various Value Added Services by the company without my desire.
      2. Reduction of balance so oftenly, and when I complain, people said that this is the problem due to system and we are helpless in the matter.

      Consumer form as wel as TRI should take the matter seriously and a very very strong action to be taken against the company.
      Respected Sir,
      Iam a user of Reliance sim card. Since two months forced services introduced without my knowledge and money deducted. Twice I have lodged complain in your Reliance office ar Raipur, Chattisgarh. The employee present there assured that every thing has been cleared and further no money will be forcefully deducted. But again today a forced service of some Rajnikant was introduced and my money got deducted from the balance. My cell no is [protected], registered in my name and all relevant certificates has been already submitted. Please consider my complaint otherwise I will be forced to switch to some other company.

          this complaint is on RELIANCE GSM. while checking balance it was showing that ur account has been locked. and while i recharged my account it was showing that it was invalid. the customer care executive was also not responding properly. his name was kumar. not giving correct response for me. and no out going or incoming calls r getting for me..

            My name is Krishna Chaithany T. My mobile number is [protected]. I launched a complain on 24/10/10 mentioning that I cant able to call to my home landline number from my mobile. I spoken to Mr. Ravi and complaint number is[protected]. They said that within 3 days they will solve the problem. But not yet solved. I called again to customercare *333 and there is no good response from your side. They are putting off the phone while I am talking. They dont have minimum manners also. And finally i spoken to on lady and she connected to Network department and they said that the problem was solved and you can call. After putting off the call, I tried again to my home landline number but the same problem is coming. Not yet solved. Once again I bringing to your notice through mail. If Reliance is really consumer oriented, I can expect a mail from you regarding this issue.

              I am having Reliance land line[protected] for the last 4-5 months, my relatives having BSNL land line no's are not able to call my no. I have made at least 15 complaint in reliance regarding this , every time without doing any thing they are simply telling problem is resolved. When enquired on *222 they told me it is not our problem , it is BSNL's problem and you complanit to them. When i complaint to BSNL they are telling from our side there is no problem , and i have forwarded the mail to Reliance .
              But the problem is still not resolved.
              Now reliance says you make complaint in BSNL for all the nos from where I am not getting calls , it means i have to complaint in all the states where ever my relative are there.
              Is it the solution???????

                I am using Reliance Prepaid No. [protected] and my Balance is deducting automatically again and again after many time requesting to customer care on phone and through e-mails. I ALSO REQUESTED TO MR. RAVI HUDA, HEAD OF HARYANA FOR RELIANCE COMMUNICATION IN CHANDIGARH.
                Customer Care Executive said that a caller tune is subscribed on my mobile but i never do that. They said that it is subscribed on my response when I did not respond any call. I requested them to unsubscribe they unsubscribed the service but next month again deducted the specific amount from my account.
                i dont want to use any type of service on my number accept take&receive voice calls.

                Please do the needful for such companies which are shuck the blood of the consumers by doing such activities.

                  Though the call talk tune service has been not been subscribed , a service charge of Rs. 30/- has been deducted from my prepaid deposit, though it was never subscribed. I would request you to please pay back the entire deducted amount and deactivte the caller tune and any caller should not be activated without my consent.

                  This is from IIT Guwahati, Assam.Hera most of pepople liked to use the gsm connection.Bot now a days it is so bad, we cant tolerate any more.We have to change the connection.                     Dear Sir,
                    I am very sorry to say you that the mobile service providers are giving a lot of headache to us by deducting the money from our main balance without any information or message.The same thing was happened to my father and I have informed you.Thanks a lot to you that the deducted amount was refunded to the main balance after your interference to the problem.Now Rs 30/- was deducted from my mobile having the No-[protected] without any information today.When I contacted the customer care they tolled me that I have activated two no. of packages in my mobile. But Sir I have never activated such type of package.Now though they have unsubscribe the package,but they are not refunding the deducted Rs 30/-.I have talked with there In-charge and he is also telling that you have activated early and the renewal amount is being deducted.But this is the 1st. time they are deducting. There is no message about the activation of any package.
                    Therefore my sincerer request to you Sir kindly study the situation and get back my deducted amount.

                      Dear Sir, My Name is Arti Deepak. I am using a reliance mobile No [protected]. I was activated a 'SMS 1Paisa' service in my mobile. I want to deactivated this service and calling to customer care on 19 Jul 10 about this procedure. Customer care was replied me about the procedure. Then i follow the procedure by an SMS "DACT SMS 1P" to 53739. But the reply was received that "Dear Business partner, your request could not be processed. Please try again. We regret the inconvenience." I was trying for de-active my service by SMS many times. But the same reply was recd as and when i SMS for that. Then i was again calling to customer care but lines are always busy.
                      Therefore, i will request you for inquiring this matter and inform me in my E-mail [protected]@gmail.com or my mob no [protected] please.

                        Dear Sir

                        I have a corporate post-paid connection no. [protected] since 25th September 2006 (as per your record). I need solution regarding Unwanted Telemarketing Calls to my number for which I have send complaint request vide Service Request ID:[protected], On Dated: 16/10/2010.

                        I have paid all your mobile bills on time since Sept. 2006 and sometime in advance also.

                        Now today I have get SMS from 52811 “Success! FRAUD SUSPENDED SUCCESSFULLY” and my mobile services are suspended now. Today again I file complaint Service Request ID:[protected], on Dated: 29/10/2010 to Ms. Arpana at 18:45 PM. There is one wonderful surprise for me is that there is nobody at your customer care no. 198 knows why my number services has been suspended, they change their all false statements many time and also I talk to supervisor, she also giving her ideas only (like your address verification is negative and your date of birth is not matching) and at the end told me to contact my nearest web world. My other number [protected] is working on same address details. I go to immediately at your DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon web world where Mr. Himanshu meet me and given the Corporate Services Contact nos. and I have myself called to that number from my other reliance number and given the line to Mr. Himasnhu (Web World Employee) on talk request of your Corporate Customer Care Executive, he given some instructions directly to Mr. Himanshu and I have been not been provided my services suspended reason.

                        In nutshell nobody knows what to do and how to provide services to corporate clients, I think you have to learn services standards from AIRTEL. I am a 12 year old customer of AIRTEL Landline/DSL, and as per my observation nobody can compete in corporate services with AIRTEL (24 Hours Services). I have 8 Airtel Landline connections with 2 DSL connections and never visited AIRTEL office even connection services provided at our office on customer care call. AND For RELIANCE Communication services never solved timely by calling at Customer Care or visiting web world. Nobody have knowledge to attend and correct reply to customer queries.

                        Customer Service Motto of Reliance Communication is “Customer Care says visit your nearest Web World and on Web World visit they says contact to Customer Care”.

                        If you can start my connection with immediate effect or I should arrange other solutions to get better services.

                        From 25th November (via Number Portability) service providers cannot blackmailed for their business/personal numbers, Customer will be free to change service provider and Corporate Customer will go their surely, where services will be best and customer caring.

                        Reliance Communications — Suspension of Services

                        I was in USA for a period of 2 months & hence I could not use nor recharge my Reliance fixed line phone / Broadnet Services. When I returned, I found that the phone was dead and the internet was not working. I was not aware that all my services were suspended. I have been calling their customer service center every day for 10 days & every single day they tell one of the following:

                        1. Your complaint has been regsitered and has been escalated to the concerned department

                        2. Your complaint has been closed by the technical team (when the problem still persists)

                        3. You will get a call from our network team (no one ever calls back nor visits my home & the complain is cloised next day)

                        4. Please recharge your account so that we can re-activate services (there is only 1 landline number[protected] to recharge the acocunt apart from my non-working fixed line phone or internet service & that number too does not work since last 5 days)

                        5. Please contact you local service provider & he shall help you out.

                        I have run from pillar to post, spoken to supervisors, complained to the local service provider who sold me the services, gone to the reliance gallaries... but no one has helped.

                        I feel thoroughly let down by a private service provider for this callous nature of services.

                        Please if there is anyone out there, please help.

                        Before 2 Days I got message that Your subscription to INDIALEDU is due for renewal.You will be charged Rs. 30 on[protected], To Deactivate call[protected]toll free) ????????????????

                        What a surprise !!!

                        I have never applied for INDIALEDU. Even I don't know what it is. When I am traying on give No. its getting engaged

                        This is one kind of Black Mailing. When I have not received any services how you can activate the services Automatically. Please stop this kind of mal practices.

                        As confirm with customer care as off now this connection is not in my Name. So they are unable to take my any information.

                        But bill is coming continuously.

                        Till date no body has came to collect the instrument from my location.



                        So we are requesting to send the person to collect the instrument and reverse all dues regarding this account.

                        We have not used this connection since last three month back.



                        So please reverse all dues and close my account immediately.

                        I will not responsible for any payment against this connection after my last payment of Rs.530 dated 24/10/2008.



                        Please confirm the same as soon as possible.

                        Hello Manager,

                        Before 4 week i got call from[protected]. he told me to transfer prepaid connection to post paid connection. i have apply for converting. but your staff did but your staff person started my postpaid connect by another mobile number which is [protected]. my mobile number is [protected]. i did losts of complain on these two number first is[protected] and second is[protected].. i did 100 times call but they cut my phone and dont give me answer..

                        Right now this is not my mobile number [protected]... if some one use this number and will create some create matter then who will responsible for this matter...

                        and your staff cant give me answer from your side mistake..

                        if you dont change my phone number and not start my post paid connection then i will complain in indian consumer..

                          Reliance is such a pathetic company to deal with that you just cant imagine..I escalated the matter of non-usage of services for certain period of time..which I was not able to escalate on timely manner..
                          When I asked for the waiver they just dont budge..go through the mail trail..you come to know how adamant these people are....

                          Greetings of the day!!

                          This is regarding Reliance NetConnect activation, I
                          would like to bring to your notice that I am highly disappointed with Reliance
                          services. I had bought NetConnect along with Dell laptop
                          scheme.

                          I approached Relaince web world on last Wednesday, 20th Oct 2010 (JP Nagar branch) and the executive (Pradeep) told that 2 days are required to get the

                          reliance phone number (NetConnect number, starting with 93XXXXXXXX) for my datacard. I went on this Monday and I didn't get a proper response. The executive

                          told to come on Tuesday and he took my number so that he can call me for coming on the same day. I didnt recieve any call from him after that, also the

                          number he provided me as his contact was not answering ([protected] - Jayanagar 5th block branch).
                          I thought of going wireless as there was time constriants for the wired connections. I appreciate a swift response from your side as I am badly in need of

                          internet connection due to some of my job related issues. It will be great if you can do the activation by today as I am waiting since a week. All the

                          required documents (ID proof, local address proof. photos) are shown at the web world.

                          I visited Web world again on 28th Oct (yesterday) and I got an update that the excutive's shift timing is over and he left for the day. Moreover the system

                          is down and so they can't see my request status. She told that the executive will call me today and I didn't recieve any call. When I tried calling the

                          branch the number is switched off.

                            respected sir,
                            i m using reliance broadband and landline connection my net is not working since last 3 days i have already lodge complain(no[protected] on 26oct)(no[protected] on 27oct) at toll free numbers then with NODAL officer mr.Sudhir 3 times and one more no at ahmedabad but no body is solving my problem and said if problem is not solved pls disconnect the service.

                            hi this is manish from kolkata bra bazaar . i'm using Reliance Broadband net connection with 2mbps plan, My net is not working since last 25 Day's .so many time i'll try to contact your department but no body resolve my this problem and this connection i'm using for my business which is totally depend on net connection but from last 25 day's my business in loss .tody's i realized that i'm taking wrong decisions to take your connection becoz for your department money is more importent which coming by bill on time to time . so taday's i'm going to complian against your best service to consumer form

                              i have registered my complaint to reliance on[protected] under complaint no.[protected] for signal problem despite not fixing my problem they send bill for june 2010 and asked for clearing, i paid the bill on[protected] but my complaint is not entertained so i stop bill payment further. regarding due bill for july, august, september and october 2010, they send legal notice to me for collection of due bill, i have paid all the due bill on[protected] of Rs. 3300/- but my internet connection prolem is same as in may. so i therefore request you to take necessary action regarding my problem and to give me compensation for harassing me.

                                The worst customer service I ever seen is from Reliance broadband. I had paid the money using credit card. But in next month's billing they have added that as well. I also had paid the security deposit Rs 4000/- which is still unused. Even then without any notice, Reliace disconnected my broadband connections. After so much of follow ups I could not succeed get my connection back. I have also produced the bank statemet for against my previous payments. Reliance has such a irresponsible billing section. Very very bad customer service.

                                  what the hell is this company doing without any prior information my caller-tune service has been activated and bal. is being deducted from my account and the damn customer care is all the time 24x7 is busy should i go to consumer court for this coz i think then there will be many people listening to me and solve out my problem.

                                  My name is Sakshi and my number is [protected] and same thing is happening with me twice. On 27/10/10 they deducted Rs.30 from my balance and after unsubscribe this facility again on 29/10/10 they activated "My Tunes Service" and deducted Rs. 20 from my balance, when I have talk to customer care they didn't help me and when I wanted to talk to their seniors they disconnect my line after holding me for 30 min. Is that we have no any work and only call them and hold for them.
                                  If Reliance need money why they are cheating peoples why not come for begging lots of Indian people can help them. I am going to change my connection and suggesting people that never take any connection of Reliance either GSM or RIM.

                                    I padma jadav I took the reliance broadband connection but very next day it disconnected I call the customer care but they dont take my complain told give us your subscriber number I called the marketing staff who insisted me to take reliance broadband connection he told me that your subscriber no will delivered at your home my post and there is technical fault in reliance tower so your bill will not generated. So after one month I dont get the letter of subscription number but they send me bill near about Rs.1500 which I never used. And there are nobody to listen me.

                                      This is to bring to your notice, that On 24-10-10, Reliance GSM Service providers activated some pack on my number by default and cut an amount of 45 rupees regarding the same. similarly another pack called movie masala was activated and then renewed as well and another 50 rupees were cut from the balance on 28-10-10. I tried contacting the customer care many times but in no vain. It used to be either busy or the call did not get connected. Finally, on 28-10-10 the call was paid heed to and to my surprise the executive was so rude. He was no where close to being polite and then he told me that these packs had been activated and the confirmation had been given my me. This is a lie as I did not get either of the packs activated and neither was I sent any confirmation message which he claims was sent.
                                      A very poor showcase of the services from reliance. I am highly disappointed with the service providers as well as the customer care executive's manner of speaking to the customer. Kindly look in the matter. Losing 95 rupees for nothing is not a joke. This can be repeated in future also with the providers claiming that the customer got the pack activated but the customer wouldn't even know which pack got activated on his/her number.
                                      I request you to see to this matter and help me out.

                                      Prepaid connection — customer care is careless

                                      Hi,

                                      I would like to bring this to your notice that your customer care service on airtel 121 No. is bad than Reliance.

                                      I received a miss call from [protected] when I called the person back Rs.30.00 is deducted from my prepaid balance in few secs.

                                      Hence I called Airtel customer care 121 no. the person without providing me an answer disconnected the call from his end ..... that's not all I recall customer care 121 no. a lady picked-up the call when I said I would like to complain against the person in customer care I spoke to 1st she said line is not clear and she disconnected once again no names of person in Airtel customer care mentioned.I wonder is it Airtel customer care service or third party service provider but as mention your 121 no. is stupid and useless.

                                      If your company can not provide service or handle the growing connection I am fine changing the operator.
