On 25-Aug-2012 I walk to reliance office and submit the termination request for Reliance Netconnect+ number [protected] (Broadband data card) with the required document like identity, address proof and photographs. This complain was registered with Service Request ID[protected]On 08/25/2012 04:52:35 PM).
After that I received the call from reliance team for retention, but I clearly denied and told them as I am moving to new apartment where wifi is provided so can't use Broadband data card anymore and same time communicated to them that in my new area reliance Broadband data card speed is not good.
Even after showing no interest they keep sending me bill every month. When I contact to customer care again then they told me that "with the request ID[protected] you was retained" and with request ID[protected] "data plan has been changed to NCPLUSMYBESTPLAN_250 with effect from[protected]". I wonder how they have done this automatically without my knowledge. In this period my data used is also ZERO.

Reliance Netconnect broadband — HIgh BIlling and discontinuation of Service

I took reliance broadband data card with no. [protected] which got activated on 27/04/09. I used this till 3/05/09. On 4th i was unable to use the net facility. I called reliance customer care[protected] and they informed me that i have used internet excessively and my bill is more than Rs. 2100 and hence the services are barred.
Initially i had opted for monthly 10GB plan and till that date i had used 7 GB of net(got from their site) which is not possible. Even then i had a plan up to 10GB o[censored]sage. Next day a reliance call center girl called and told that i have to pay Rs.6100 as my bill.
I am surprised and annoyed.
Ravi, I too am facing the same problem. I got myself activated on the 2.5 GB plan & midway my connection was suspended & I was aked to pay Rs. 5, 160.00. This was just one week ago and today, I find my service disconnected again with Reliance saying that I have used GB worth Rs. 4, 000/- & THAT TOO WITHIN 1 WEEK!
Is there anything we can do about this daylight robbery?
Dear All,
I took new coneecttion from Reliance. From 22-May-09 morning onward it was stop working due to high usage. On 23-May-09, I went to Reliance Web World and I came to know that I have to pay Rs. 5637 (approx). I asked the Reliance executive how much I have to pay so that my data card will start working. He suggested me to pay Rs. 3737, I paid that amount and expecting the service will get resume.

On 23-May-09 service was not get active and on 24-May-09, I again spoke to customer care and I was shocked to know that I had to pay Rs. 10, 523 I have to pay more. They told me that my bill was generated on 22-May-09, below are the my queries:

Why the customer care didn’t inform me on 23-May-09, when I went there to make payment?
How this much o[censored]sage went up?
Since my credit limit was up to Rs.1900, then how this much of amount goes up?
Why my connection didn’t get stop when I crossed the credit limit.
In cell phone if my usage is high I am getting the information, or service is getting stop, then why it didn’t with this connection?
How the unbilled usage got changed from 23-May-09 to 24-May-09.

MIS-COMMUNICATION, FRAUD, OVERBILLING BY RELIANCE NETCONNECT

Hi guys,

So here is my experience with reliance net-connect :

Account basics :
Speed : 3.1 mbps ( never saw download speeds greater than 100kbps despite the fact I traveled to 4 different states with the USB dongle..so much for their theory about not being in network area)

Data limit/Billing : 10GB Night + 10 GB Day , Monthly Bill : 1211, Credit Limit :2600

Okay, so the story starts here :

Month of February
1. Connection barred on 17th February due to usage above credit limit.
2. Bill generated for the period from 27th Jan to 26th Feb : Rs. 4513.00
3. My credit limit : Rs. 2600.00
So , I call up customer care and ask them why I have been billed in excess of my credit limit or why I was not informed if my credit limit wasn't raised....Got no explanation other than them blaming it on the "System"

Month of March :

1. I get a bill for 27th of Feb to 26th of March even though the connection remained barred. Effectively, I was charged by 1000 Rs. by Reliance for a connection that they themselves barred....meaning that one has to pay the bill yet not use the connection !![/B]


2. I call on 22nd of March and ask my connection to be terminated. I am subjected to a 30 min propaganda lecture by 3 different Reliance employees after finally managing them to accept to close my connection..

Month of April
1. I call up on April 12th to check up on my termination request. I am told that my termination request given on 22nd of March was only done on 7th of April and I'd have to keep paying the bill upto 7th of April for a connection that has been disabled by Reliance since February 15th

So, to sum up :

1. I have been made to pay till date for a connection by Reliance which they themselves disconnected on 15th of Feb.

2. My attempt at having the connection disconnected since 22nd of March is yet to yield any result...spoke to a guy called Shashank at their call centre tonight who said I'd have to wait till 27th of April(ie. 40 days ) to check whether my connection has been disconnected for sure....till then I'd billed the monthly bill by Reliance.

3. There are literally 100s of complaints against Reliance Netconnect online...just google Reliance Netconnect Complaints and see for yourself...they just seem to respond with a one line apology (Std Line :We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. This is to inform you that your problem is escalated and our team is working on the resolution. We will get back to you shortly )...and thats it ..one can expect to keep getting robbed by them...


I hope to raise this issue at as many forums and blogs as possible so that more people can become aware of the fraud that is being perpetuated by Reliance in the garb of "customer service" ....

      This is to inform you that I am currently an user of TATA DOCOMO with number [protected] has applied for mobility of my number, few days back, to Reliance telecom, but the same has not been done by the service provider Reliance telecom.

      Now I have tried to do number mobility to another service provider but could not be able to do the same due to keeping my application on hold by Reliance Telecom.

      Thus requesting you to take necessary steps so that I can do number mobilty to other service provider.

        My name is Kannan using reliance service for just 22nd of oct ,My user id is[protected] and i am old reliance cust ID of[protected] terminated because of same EDP rental issue.I am in top plan of reliance 1099 by sending mail from a browsing center very pathetic and painful experience from your side.i have compliant several times in custcare nothing done they keep on answering give 24hours time we will rectify the problem and compliant no registered on 7th[protected].

        Then 21nd afternoon i called up nodal office[protected]they assured me it will be rectified with in 3days time that mean before 24th.but it was not rectified on 24th again called up nodal office 26th afternoon answered the call and checked for 7mins then again says that it will take another 4days time and she can't assure the service will be given in 3days of time that means 29th also same happens i know that as till nobody care about this and nothing.

        today morning i received a call pending payment pls pay i am keep on complain to restore the line you guys care about only the payment and not care about the customer whether service provided r not.now why should i tolerate this was your side problem and taking these many days i never seen these worst response being India's no 1 broadband service and treat the cust like is very painful.

        Please terminate the line as soon as possible i don't need ur connection anymore and i will never recommend reliance to anyone anymore. fed-up with ur service
        the service was totally down for 20days by now but u guys asking another 3days time to think worst service by u guys shame on reliance name!!!

            Reliance Broadband owes me Rs. 4181.7 paise ever since my account with them was terminated by me on 14th July 2008. As the refund never came I have written letters to [protected]@relianceada.com but received no response and made numerous complaints thereafter but the refund was never sent.

            Recently after making yet another complaint, a lady called me up to say that the cheque is being sent soon but I still have not received it. Now when I call they said that my account is terminated and they cannot take anymore complaints.

              Reliance Communication — Deducting balance for unwanted services

              HI,

              I have been using Reliance prepaid connection from past 4 months. Since last two months they are activating Caller tune service without asking to me and charging amount for that. Last month when they did this, I called up and deactivated the service and got the money back but this time they are not listening. Whenever I call or send mail, they are replying the same thing.
              Even there is no gurantee that they will do the same thing next month also.

              Request you to please look onto this matter and take a legal action on the company.

                Hello,

                I had surrendered my phone connection with all the dues to the reliance webworld outlet at rajeev gandhi bhavan nasik in june august 2012 and the bill does just not stop.

                I paid again twice when reliance threatened to send a court order. And then thrice when an executive from trimbak road told me to come and pay and told me this will be cleared fully.

                Now I am stuck. How many times do I need to pay. I will be moving the consumer court against reliance if it needs to be done but I wont be paying money for a service I am not using.

                    sir this is to complain you that prreviosly i was satisfied reliance customer in pune but sorry to say that now i have become a dissatisfied customer after coming to gujarat.The reason is from past 1 month i m using reliance in gujarat without my permission daily new hello tunes, unlimited funs are updated and whenever i recharge within two days my balance get reduced and reason they msg me the activation of such things.several time i had complaint to customer care.but everytime i had to face same problem

                      My Relaince mob. no is [protected]. I'm using this number from last 1 month. Today I got a message that Rs. 30 has been deducted from my account. when I called the customer service for this they just put me on hold and disconnect the call. I tried calling them at-least more then 5 times and got the same response. Now when I'm trying to call them again my call is not getting through. I'm really very dissatisfied with this type of response. The customer service guy really don't care about the customer. When told them that I will report about them to the "appellate authority" they simply told me do what ever you want we don't care.

                      That's why I'm reporting this here. Please get my issue resolved ASAP, or tell me what the best I can do.

                      I m using a reliance cdma sim card,and they have started deducted balance by activating some service packs and so and so.this time they activated cricket pack on my phone and deducted 5 rupees.And when i complained about this again(i earlier too complained abt these things on the customer care number 198)
                      to their number for giving complains that is 198 and they said it is done because had choosen confirmed the action...they blamed totally on me....what the [censored] .....this is my personnal number and if i hv given the grant then why am i complaining.....they told me that they cant take the complain.then why they say 198 as their complain receiving numbers.i dont need my 5 rupees back,bt again they did the same thing with my friend....they deducted abt 30 rupees for the same cricket pack.they think we cant do anything but i know customer forum is there to help us in teaching these companies a good lesson to learn....
                      please do something or else many more customers like me feel the heat of their cheatings....they not complained as they dont want to indulge in any mess,but i dont let these companies do whatever they want.please help me.....

                        Sir,
                        when I was in Allahabad dated[protected] I recharge my mobile from Rs 29/ from a shop for the internet benefit.
                        After recharge I received a message that
                        "Recharge of Rs 29 successful. Enjoy 1 GB 2G data. val: 7 days. Reliance
                        When I surf the Internet my main account is deducted by about Rs 100.
                        When I complain to the Reliance They said that internet benefit is not given to you because you recharge from another state.
                        For this I register a complain No[protected] dated[protected]
                        On[protected] I received a message from reliance that "Dear Reliance customer with reference to your sr no.[protected] you are not eligible for benefit dated[protected]."
                        First Reliance giving message that I can used 1 GB data benefit, but they are not providing data benifit and main account is deducted. I am fully unknown to it because of there falls message so kindly do something.

                          I am submitting this complaint with my hope please read.

                          I am customer of reliance from last 3 years and i had never delayed to make the bill payment. But in Jan-March 2012 i was facing many issues with the datacard (no. [protected]) connection, i have called many time to customer care but they had not given a single resolution.

                          So i have decided to close the connection and not made payment for a month in that time period i recieved a call from reliance (Mobile no. [protected]) she said that sir we are giving you the discount of 1000 rupee so please make the payment of 900. I said madam i want to transfer my datacard postpaid to prepaid so what amount i need to pay she said 900 and sir you need to give a photo and a photo id proof for the same we will transfer your postpaid connection to prepaid. I said ok then a executive come to my home i have given a cheque of 900 and a photo id and a passport size photo to the excutive.

                          But after 6 days when i called to customer care they said we do not recieved request from payment dept. so we can't do anything i was requested so many time to open a complaint but they was not written a single complaint...but i have given a feedback to reliance (feedback id:[protected] on[protected]. I also sent e-mails to reliance customer care regarding the same but but no action taken And they also terminated my connection.


                          Now, I am recieving abusing calls from [protected]. thay say that we are taking legel action now you will pay 10,000+ for the same.

                          Proof which i have:
                          - Regular followup i had taken with customer care feedback id:[protected]
                          - Mail which i had sent to reliance for help
                          - Voice recording of that lady who commited to me for converting my connection postpaid to prepaid.
                          - Voice recording of reliance customer care where i am requesting to write a complaint for this froud.
                          - Why i pay 900 if i want this type of issues / or their excutive had taken the cheque or low amount.

Mere Number per 2G Net Recharge or Call rate detection recharge nahi ho rahe hai. Customer Care per baat karne per kah rahe hai ki tumhara Number 3G Dongle Number hai Is liye recharge nahi hoga.

                            2) 3G Service 2010-11 se Start hui hai

                              i have been using reliance for more than three year. my no is [protected]. my base plan is of 50 paise per call/sms(local & national) which was the introductory scheme of RCOM when company started(GSM services). but they are charging 1rs/sms violating the scheme.
                              whenever i call customer care, executive replies that system is in update. when i could not take it any more i asked to talk with senior executive but he replied the same and told to call after an hour.
                              i did the same. in fact every time i call after an hour. but they just tell that system is in update.
                              and the big catch is that, they don't even register the complain.
                              company charges any amount regardless what your base plan is. moreover company never gives refund or does not even entertain any complain about balance deduction. they have just one answer i.e. "system is in update". i would soon switch over to other service provider. i would say new customers not to go for reliance services.

                                Reliance Netconnect no: [protected]

                                I wish to state that I was using this Reliance Netconnect for more than 2 years, and wanted to stop the said services by the end of the month of June 2012.
                                I sent a mail to Reliance on June 29th 2012 stating that I have stopped using the Net Connect Service and requested them to tell me the amount due so that I could pay immediately and close the account. Since I received no reply from Reliance, I sent another mail on 10th of July 2012 regarding the same. I did not receive a reply for the subsequent mail also but instead, kept receiving monthly bill statements for the connection and Legal Notice for the Non-Payment of Rs. 2513/- on 20th September 2012. In the Legal Notice, I was asked to contact one Ms. Madhumitha, who did not bother to pick up the phone, hence, I sent her a mail stating all the facts and also attached my previous mails to Reliance for her reference. I was able to reach her on the 22nd of September 2012 and explained my situation to her to which she said that I could pay a sum of 1,500/- and complete my dues and that she would send an authorization for the same by 24th of September 2012, which I never received. A person by the name of Mr. Muthukumar came to my office premises on 22nd September 2012 and collected Rs. 1,500/- By Cheque [Cheque No. 485421 – HDFC Bank] and gave me a receipt for the same clearly stating “No More Dues”. After this also, I have been getting bills every month and two more legal notices on 14th November and 19th November 2012 stating that I had to pay an amount of Rs. 1,191/- Again, my attempts to call Ms. Madhumitha and sort out this issue failed miserably as she never bothered to respond to my numerous phone calls and none of the staff [Mr. Gopal] I spoke to on the given numbers even remotely tried to help solve this issue. Please note that sending Legal Notices every now and then for payments which are not due is harassment and I have been going through this mental trauma without any relief whatsoever from your side for the past 5 months. Even after trying so many times, to solve this petty issue with Reliance’s authorities, even though I was not at fault, it has not been sorted out as yet.

                                I have lost hope of sorting out this issue with Reliance as they are only interested in sending Legal Notices and threatening and harrassing their clients instead on working to solve their problems. If i get one more legal notice, i will be immediately going to the consumer court armed with all the facts.

                                  I was using Reliance GSM Postpaid Number ([protected]) when I was working with in Reliance, but now I have cleared all my dues Rs.625 and submitted the SIM with cancelation application to Reliance collection executive Mr. Amir Khan([protected])on(16-Jul-12) and he promised me my all dues are clear as on date and my number will be deactivated. But as the number was not deactivated I am still getting zero usage bills. And to add to trouble I have been receiving continuous phone calls for non-payment of the bill . So please help me to get the account closed.

                                      I was using Reliance net connect Number – [protected] as a post paid connection, also I got an extra GSM connection through this net connect GSM Number – [protected], In Aug – 12 I recognize that as per my usage my plan is ay high & I have gone to their reliance web world Pune-Aundh branch to convert this connection to Prepaid. Also close my GSM connection after paying the complete outstanding amount.
                                      Very cleverly reliance connect executive has convinced me for plan change to 750 Monthly to 250 Monthly and promised me that this will get converted within 3 days. I have paid Rs 1207 on 29th Aug to clear all the outstanding and also given instruction to stop my GSM connection.
                                      Amazingly when I received my next month bill it was on my previous plan on Rs750, this was not converted to 250. From than I have stopped using any services from Reliance GSM or Net connects.
                                      Still I am receiving the bill for not using any services followed with some threatening call if you not pay your bill we will do the court case & all that rubbish.
                                      My question from Reliance-:
                                      1. This is your fault & you people are responsible for it.
                                      2. Please refund my cost I spend on your net connect device.
                                      3. Please refund my money I given as refundable fee at the time of GSM connection.
                                      4. Please stop calling on my current mobile number as this mobile comes under DND Service.
                                      5. Please improve your services by saying truth to your customer instead of playing games.
