Dear sir,
This is to keep you informed that i, mr. Manjit singh holding policy no.[protected] is really depressed with the service of reliance life insurance.
In the month of nov 2017 i was supposed to goto out of station so i ensured that none of my emis should be pending. My policy number[protected] was supposed to be paid on 29/12/2017, so i went to the office to pay my renewal payment on 17/11/2017. I re-confirmed the agent my renewal amount which was rs.13760 as per her (Ms. Pravin kaur). I paid the entire amount in cash and it was accepted (Receiving receipt wc[protected] is attached) without any balance informed to me.
After 4 months dated[protected] i got a courier having a note from reliance life insurance (Excess refund mail) which had cheque (Ch. No.943587) enclosed to it for rs.13782. I visited the office on the same day, and they informed me to pay the amount with extra rs.55 again, after clearing the cheque. I even requested her to accept the same cheque with rs.55 cash and clear the renewal. She denied the same as was adamant on clearance of cheque.
Due to long weekend and bharat band on 2nd april 2018, it was bank holiday, i got the cheque cleared and re-visited the reliance life insurance office to pay my dues on 3th & 5th apr.
I was surprised to know from ms. Pravin kaur that my policy amount has increased
From rs.13815 to rs.14118 with fine (Rs.303 is added as fine).
How come common people are being looted without being guided properly
Why was this not informed to me on the same day when i was submitting my renewal policy
Why did i get the update after 4 months. Why do i need to pay the fine
When i paid in cash, why did the get the cheque to be submitted in my account
Kindly look into this as i am not ready to pay the fine amount because of their mistake and carelessness. Looking forward for quick closure and helping me.
