My sister and family were supposed to travel today (feb 14th ) from b’lore to Mumbai on spicejet. The flight timing was indicated as 7:05PM during ticket booking. We arrived at the airport at 6:15PM by when we received an SMS & call indicating that the flight was delayed by 40 mins. On reaching the check-in counter at 7:10 PM (after standing in a long queue, with only 1 spicejet counter operational), an arrogant lady by name ‘SHWETA’ who called herself as ‘MANAGER’, flatly refused to give the boarding pass saying the documents had already been sent and the flight door was closed!!!!! ( In the entire history of our air travel for so many years, we have never heard of a flight getting ready for take-off prior to 20 minutes of the said time)!!!!
She was not willing to hear anything from my sister/BIL who has a small child and many commitments after reaching Mumbai. It was flatly told that they could avail the next day’s flight at 10AM or take the refund (which only included a petty tax amount) – just because they could not reach the counter 30 minutes prior to the take-off!!! Talk of punctuality of an airline, which is renowned for keeping passengers stranded for hours together!!!!!
We got to know from some insiders at the airport that there is always a lot of overbooking done by Spicejet and they give tickets on first come first serve basis and then play these cheap tricks to customers who have to suffer inspite of booking tickets 4 weeks in advance!!
When we went to the spicejet counter on the airport, the person sitting there bluntly told us that there is nothing he can do and whatever we want to convey, we can put up on the ‘internet’!! so much for customer care!!! Wonder where the days of ‘customer is king’ are gone.Leave alone god, please treat us as human atleast!!! The only thing we fell short of was falling at their feet—they are the leat interested!!!
When we were standing at the counter hoping that this person will atleast help us in some way, there was another person who came to ask for a ticket . although there were only 8 minutes for the flight to take off, this person was issued a ticket at the counter!! In fact there was a spice jet personnel , who came hurriedly at the counter asking whether that arrangement of 1 seat was done !!!!!
We wonder where the strict rule of ’30 minutes’ was at this time. Wonder where the ethics, customer concerns are for this airline or is it that “LOW AIR FARE” with “CHEAPNESS AT ITS BEST” is all they cater to!!!
I would suggest people to avoid this airline at all costs!!! Better pay a little more and travel peacefully than succumbing to the cheap gimmicks of what a cheap airline can do at its best!!!

    spicejet is the worst and most unproffesional airline. Indigo is the best.
    Both our delhi-kochi and kochi - delhi flights have been cancelled and that too at the 11th hour .
    our whole itenenry has to be changed
    I AGREE-100% .It is the WORST airline- cheap, unethical, money mining airlines .Have aposted a complaint which I faced today.
    Customer care is the last on their agenda!!cheapsters!!
    wonder what we can do to stop the way they are ;manhandling' people, their time, emotions (leave alone the baggages!!)
    I would like to say you a diffrent idea about spicejet.. I have to say as a low cost carrier they are doing the best for the customers.. we all are having a very good idea about the europe and american flights.. but if you travel with those LCC am telling in your life you will not travel with any airline.. concern about spicejet they are doing really good in customer care and highly proffessional way of doing the things...
    I had a flight from Kolkata to chennai by indigo.. and I even had a flight of spicejet from Chennai to Coimbatore.. the way indigo and spicejet is delivering is the best to compete with any other airline in india...
    i had booked a return flight from delhi to mumbai in defence qouta on 31 may for travel on 01 jun .due to unforseen circumstances i had to cancel the booking and the domestic compulsions could not allow me to decide on next travel possibility, the customer care person conveyed that since its a cocessional fare booking it can neither be cancelled nor changed .i requested to speak to the supervisor .the lady denied me the request and kept saying that the supervisor would tell you the same thing .it was only after protracted requests that the supervisor came up on line and said we can change your booking date but cannot cancel the booking .i requested to convert the ticket to open since its difficult to predict the date of travel .finally i had to forego my entire booking amount .a similar situation had come up last year in indigo air and they were extremely helpful, cooperative positive and courtious in their dealing .so my views are that indigo is by far more client friendly and accomodative and thats the reason they are more prefered .hope the ceo does go through this and take a corrective action 08JJBV 01 JUN 11

      We bought 5 tickets online for the Mumbai-Goa sector travelling in March. These were cheap tickets. Due to unavoidable circumstances, we are forced to cancel the trip.

      We have noticed that the airline charges Rs 750 per ticket for cancellation, whether it is done on phone or online. This is an exhorbitant charge for cancellation especially if the ticket cost is only Rs 1800 or so. There is no concept of deducting the base fare and refunding the balance taxes. This is clearly a money making activity for the airline and I am surprised no action is taken by the authorities against such malpractice.

      Another malpractice which has been noticed is that the airlines don't display the base fare and the taxes separately these days. They combine the fares and the passengers are at the mercy of these airlines. Hopefully some action will be taken on the erring airlines.
      SpiceJet is the worst airline.

        My mother (POONAM GUPTA) is traveling from Pune to Patna today ( 8th Feb 2010 ) and she is all alone. I booked the air ticket for her and here is the ticket details -

        (1) Spicejet (Flight # SG 212) - 1 stop -
        Departure - Pune (PNQ) - Mon, 08 February 10, 11:35 hrs
        Arrival - Kolkata (Calcutta) (CCU) - Mon, 08 February 10, 16:45 hrs

        (2) Kingfisher Red(Flight # IT 4579) - 0 stop -
        Departure - Kolkata (Calcutta) (CCU) - Mon, 08 February 10, 18:25 hrs
        Arrival - Patna (PAT) - Mon, 08 February 10, 19:55 hrs

        Booking was made through -
        MakeMyTrip Booking ID - FLT[protected]
        Booking Date - Wed, 13 January 10

        Spicejet was expected to reach to Calcutta at 16:45 hrs, however it reached actually after 18:15 hrs. i.e. after more than 1 hour 30 minutes delay.
        Because of this, my mother missed the Kingfisher flight and she is forced to stay back.

        When i called up SpiceJet, they refused to help in any regard. They refuse to help on arranging other ticket or to refund the money. My mother is now helpless and she has to wait overnight in Kolkatta airport and she has to buy an expansive air ticket for tomorrow morning to catch another flight to Patna.

        I'm feeling awful and seek help from consumer forum.

          spice jet is the most unrealiable airlines in india firstly i had been travelling back home from india and spice jet flight from ahemdabad to mumbai on the 27 jan 2010 was ment to leave at 7.15 pm but the flight was delayed till 11.20 i tried to book another flight but i was not able to becouse all flight were fully booked.
          i took the flight at 11.20 on the other hand i had to catch a flight to london form mumbai at 2 am on 28th jan 2010.which i had missed due the bad delay of spicejet! which cost me an extra 11400 RS , i had to sleep at mumbai airport till the next mourning! it was a nightmare ! if you are wanting to get somwhere on time then dont travel with spice jet!

            DearSir / Madam,

            I peetamber joshi booked one flight to my wife Aruna joshi thru spice jet sg 234 from hyderabad to delhi depart at 1300 PM on 27.01.2010. my wife is 31 week pregnant, prior to book tiket i called to customer care and asked the procedure for pregnant lady they simply said she can travel up to 32nd week, this is very shocking when she reached at shamshabad airport at 12.10PM, the executive who were on the counter she asked for the fit certificate from our doctor, then she simply replied it was not inform earlier by customer care, till 32nd week you can travel, so executive said without certificate you cant travel, then she requet to doctor on over phone there itself for certificate on the 12.20 and also request to executive who were there MS. Shikha to please provide her fax no. or email ID she totaly denied to give that she said now the time is 12.30 and counter is closed and we dont have any fax here and she was very rude to her , i was outside then i went to spicejet counter and requesting for the same to ms. sunanda she also refuuse to give me fax no. then i went again and this time ms. Mirza given me the fax no as well as the emil id ,and at 12.44 the email has been received, copy is also attached for your reference,when Ms. sunanda called inside in spicejet counter MS. SHIKHA WAS VERY RUDE AGAIN IN FRONT OF MY WIFE AND REPLY TO SUNANDA AND HER COLLEGUES TOO' SAID BOLA NA EK BAR MANA KAR DO NAHI HO SAKTA MTLAB NAHI HO SAKTA HAM KYA EN LOGO KE LIYE BETHE HAI, HAME AUR BHI BAHUT KAM HAI' and then she put the counter closed board there at 12.30 itself,

            being a pregnant and alone she suffered for mental and physical trauma at that time, you must have to take care of her little more as compare to other customer but whatever you did over there its ridiculous and pure negligence, if something will be wrong i will not forgive to anyone, i dont know if it the way to treat a customer i must have to think for my next booking, and if i will not received any positive reply i may visit to consumer court and lodge the complaint against spicejet.

              I has booked myself on Spicejet flight SG 606 on 19th Dec from Kolkata to Delhi. I has been the most horrific incidence that I have ever undergone on any airline in India. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:45pm and I was at your counter at 12:00pm (that is after scanning my luggage). I had some excess luggage with me and was asked to transfer around 10Kgs as hand luggage because I wasnt carrying any hand luggage. I did the same and presented my ticket again at the counter at that point of time Spice jet employee called "Arpan" was at the counter, who told me that he cant give me a boarding pass because the boarding is closed at this time the clock was showing exact 12:15pm (IST, which means exact 30mins for the flite to take off). I told him that I came to your counter at 12:00pm and at your request only I was shifting my luggage but he insisted that he will not issue me a boarding pass.

              Soon, I realised that there were atleast 21 people like me who were the victims of this person "Arpan". We all requested spicejet staff politely for 15 mins, but no one listened nor were the mangers called. One of the passengers lost his cool by now, but the airline people instead of helping 21 passengers called up CRPF. By god's grace the CRPF was intelligent enough to understand that 21 people cannot be wrong and so they tried to help us and requested the airline to call the manager to address the concerns of the passengers.

              By this time it was 12:45 and we were told that the flite has taken off and noone can help us. Also, there was one more passenger who had a valid boarding card and a security check done. She was not allowed to board the flite for some strange reasons. At this juncture the airline suddenly told people to check in and board the flite (it was nearly 1 pm). When we boarded the aircraft, we were told by our fellow passengers that spicejet told them, that one of the passenger's daughter is left behind and that is why the flite did not take off at time. But, the truth was that 21 o[censored]s were not allowed to board despite having valid tickets. We also go to know from the fellow passengers that they were told to board early so that the flite can take off before time. We were not even informed that the flite will take off before time.

              After reaching Delhi I did write an email to Spicejet but to my surprise, they not only did not accept their mistake but also accused me of the fact that I was trying to find a fellow passenger to check in my luggage on the contrary all the while I was being helped by spicejet staff to shift my luggage from my suitcase to a newly purchased bag from the nearby counter.

              Spicejet should be punished and made to compensate for the mental trauma and falsely accusing a law abiding citizen of the country

                I had booked a ticket on SpiceJet airline, Spicejet SG-216 dated 2 Jan 10 which was to depart at 1830 hrs from Bangalore to Delhi. However, due to fog the flight was cancelled. The next day i cancelled the ticket and was promised a full refund within a few days. The date that day was 3rd Jan 10.

                On 10th, i still had'nt received my money and i called up SpiceJet customer care who i must say are very well trained to do nothing. What was done on 10th was that they had just started the reversal process after my call to them. So i lost out on a week, from 3-10th wherein Spice had done nothing. On 10th I was told it would take a week.

                On 18th i called up again cause well, no surprises, the money had not yet been credited to my account. Again i was promised that the same will be credited in 2 days. On 20th, ie today, i again had to make the call just because I still have not yet received my refund.

                Talking to Spice Jet Customer Care is of no use to me, so i have given up on your very competent staff.
                It seems to me that Spice is only good in making up excuses to delay the refund of the money. I have probably spent a lot just to recover this money. Who is going to pay me for the money i have spent and the time spent on trying to get back my money ?

                I dont know who i should contact for the refund, my last resort being the papers which is probably the only medium which will get your attention.

                Normally i should expect a call/ a reply from Spice regarding this mail, but now knowing your organisation i dont expect anything. Just make sure that i receive my refund. Lest to say, this is one passenger who wont be flying with SPICE again.

                Spice Jet — Refund for cancelled flight

                I was to fly Mumbai to New Delhi on 6th April 2009 by 5.50 am flight which they suddenly cancelled. I demended the difference in air fare I paid to other company and also refund of the ticket. After intervention by Airport Manager they agreed to refund my money in 3 days. Since then I have been follwoing up through their customer care by email but nothing happened. I am tired now and don't know what to do.
                Please help me in getting my refund.
                Also can the matter be taken up at highest regulatory authority to save passensers from their irratic operations. Anil Jain

                  Dear Sir,

                  (Lodging complaint on behalf of Anindita Basak, whose I am local guardian )
                  We booked Spice Jet ticket, Pune-Delhi,

                  Spice Jet Flight number SG-208
                  Airline PNR- HZ6BBD
                  Ticket number- HZ6BBD

                  Airline Operator cancelled flight just 3-4 Hours prior to scheduled departure.
                  We asked for bookings to be done in some other airline, they replied "it's not possible, as they dont
                  have tie up's with other airlines"
                  Due to this we have to ask for refund and book ticket in other airline (Indigo) paying INR 1500 excess

                  Now I wish to register compliant for below reasons-
                  1. Mental and physical stress created by Spice Jet due to cancellation of flight.
                  2. Economical loss due to cancellation of flight prior to few hours, due to which we have to purchase a ticket of much higher fare
                  3. We demand that Spice Jet should not be permitted to operate as they don’t have tie - ups with other airlines, (because in event of flight cancellation, they are unable to reserve ticket in some other airline)

                    I cheated three times by Spicejet.

                    The details are given Below:

                    1. Today(09/01/2010) My flight time was 07:25 AM with the reservation no. QZ71DC.........but the flight depart from Delhi to Amhedabad by 10:40AM...............delayed by 2 hrs......... so would be charge to spice jet for delay in flight.

                    2. Yesterday[protected] Friday Due to urgency I booked the Flight From Delhi to Ahmedabad with the reservation no. QZ71DC but Flight was cancelled .............. My company pay a lot of plenty due to cancellation of spicejet flight .

                    3. In the 3 rd complains see the below trailing discussion with reservation no V4RFEM in spicejet booking.
                    They never response us on time.
                    Always charge a huge amount ............. I paid Rs 4000 instead of Rs 1400.

                    I travel by airlines 5 to 10 times in a months. according to my experience spicejet provide very poor service.

                    So cancel the licence of this type of bad airlines.

                    Then I go for ticket change………………….



                    On Spicejet ticket counter I asked the Madam (Spicejet employee) for change the ticket. She told me Spicejet will charge 1400Rs (approx.) I agree but after 2minutes she told me, we are unable to change the ticket because this is the corporate booking and we are unable to process the same…………… why they are unable to process?



                    After 30 minutes I will go to Spicejet counter again for change the ticket now they agree with 4050Rs and they provide me the ticket for flight SG 212, departure time 2:35 pm……………..How this time this is possible?



                    Now this flight is delayed by 30 minutes……………………..for delay in flight what you pay to passenger?



                    I am totally disagree with your customer service.

                      I had booked an air ticket for my journey from chennai to new delhi vide PNR No. V4G7DT, flight SG308 fro rs.3129. When I reached chennai airport I was told that the flight is about 2-2.30 hors late. Accordingly I was given another ticket by the apicejet staff. Security check was done and I was asked to wait for further announcement for waiting. I kept waiting but no announcement was made and when uinmatey at about 2100 hrs I tried to make enquiry I was told that the boarding was over and I was not allowed to board the plane . The fact was brought to the notice to the spicejet authorities immediatey after coming out but instead of helping me the asked me to accept the refund of about Rs.300 which was denied by me. ON thourough enquiry made It revealed that the plane flew with full capacity i.e.170 passangers which makes it clear that I , who paid less amount for ticket< being concessional one, was deliborately not allowed to board the plane . and other passanger who naturally might have paid more amount was allowed. It has caused me irreparable loss. KIndly take appropriate action ant get amount refunded to me with appropriate compasation. Thanks, Rahul Dubeyu

                        Hi All,
                        This is to bring to your notice that I had booked three round trip tickets for Delhi – Chennai – Delhi through SPICEJET. Our return from Chennai was scheduled for January 04, 2010 at 6.55 PM Flight# SG 308, I received a call at 3.20 PM on Jan 4 from a Spicejet executive stating due to bad weather conditions they are cancelling the flight. When I asked for an alternate he said he can reschedule it for January 05, 2010 7.40 AM.
                        I had not received any email or sms confirming the new flight number and the schedule. I then checked with the customer care at 4 PM and the flight on which I had booked the tickets i.e. SG 308 was operational and departing on time. Customer care executive confirmed me that the rescheduled has been done only for three o[censored]s and flight SG 308 is full and at operational status. I checked the status for Flight SG 308 January 04, 2010 at 7.30 pm, it departed on time of which I have attached the screenshot for your reference
                        I logged the complaint with SPICEJET customer care and they said they will get back to me and I am still waiting to hear from them. Due to all the miscommunication and inconvenience, my father and I will have to take one day unpaid leave from office and reschedule all important meetings.

                          I had postponed my flight ticket from 25th december 2009 to 31st of december by calling spicejet.My previous PNR number was Q445AS.But I did not receive any confirmation or ticket emailed or SMS. I called the customer care executives twice and they repeated the statement that they would immediately send me the tickets . But I din receive any confirmation yet.

                            Resp Sir, I booked Air ticket in spicejet on 29th Dec 09 fm B,lore to Guwahati under Armed Froces Personnel Booking Conf No E3HYAV .But due to my sudden transfer (posting) Fm Guwahati to Indore Iam not able to use the flt as my date of reporting to new place is 31Dec09 to Indore due to my transfer problem may I kindly request to cancel the ticket and refund the amount as a spl case please.Also Iam regular passenger of your esteemed and most liked Airlines .                               This is reference to my complaint on this blog against Spice Jet for late delivery of baggage from Flight No. SG 804 on 24.11.2009 resulting in no show of Go Air Flight No. G8 221 Mumbai - Indore on the same day. In this regard several mails have been sent to [protected]@spicejet.com which is told to be the only site of Spice Jet for lodging complaints. Also several calls have been made to the toll free nos of Spice Jet but every time their reply was we have not received any such kind of mail. Then, I asked the fax no of them so that on that number complaint can be faxed. The fax number given was[protected] on which fax had been sent but it was delivered to telephone no.[protected] as the number was diverted on this number. Again I contacted customer relation officers but they kept on saying neither any email is received nor fax has been received. When insisted and shown the proof they replaid our fax machine is not in working condition and therefore cannot read it. Then they asked to sent the scanned copy of the complaint on there ID [protected]@spicejet.com which was duly sent to them and at no single occassion Domain Failure notice was received on my ID that means they were receiving all these mails but didnot wanted to entertain the complaint. Then I again contacted on Toll Free No. which was attended some executive name Manpreet and after having a long discussion with her she forwarded my call to another executive called Amrita. After long discussion she agreed to give me another fax number[protected] which was stated to be checked by her personally and was properly working she also give me one ID binu.[protected]@spicejet.com. Though the mail has been sent to this mail ID but when fax was sent to be given number the message was this phone is out of order temporarily. Even till today I have not received any reply from spice Jet. This is to make you aware of how these Airlines are harrasing the pessangers and making them to suffer huge losses because of their inefficiencies but are not even ready to here the complaint forget about compansions. All the users are advice to be aware of conduct of Spice Jet so that in future they are saved from the problems, which I had to face.

                                Sir,

                                I booked eight tickets from ARZOO.COM for Mumbai to Indore Go Air Flight No. GA221 for 24.11.2009. The scheduled flight time was 20:10. Earlier to this I also booked same number of tickets from goa to mumbai on the same day with Go Air. The scheduled time of this flight was 15:10 but the Airline informed that the flight has been preponed to 8:30AM on the same day and since we had other work at Goa at that particular period of time I had to cancel the tickets of this flight and took another eight tickets of Spice Jet flight for Goa to Mumbai on the same Day. The flight was schedule at 18:00 hours and was scheduled to reach Mumbai at 19:10 Hours. Since, the time availablitiy at Mumbai Airport was short I searched for Go Air officials at Goa Airport to seek help at Mumbai Airport in the case of emergency but on entire Area I could not trace on employee of Go Air. Then, I went to booking counter of Go Air which was outside the Airport to seek the assistance. Two person were siting there and after checking my tickets for Mumbai Indore Flight they advised me that there is a sufficient time gap and since the spice jet flight is on time there will be no problem at Mumbai Airport. Even then I requested that I would need assistance at Mumbai Airport so I asked them to please inform their Mumbai Collegues about the same. They assured me of this. Then, I alongwith my family board at Spice Jet flight for Mumbai. This flight was delayed by about 15 Mintues and landed at Mumbai around 19:25 Hours. Immediately after getting out of the flight I searched for the conveyer belt where the bagages will be unloaded. But to my surprise there was not even a single employee of Spice Jet. Then I started searching for Go Air Staff but again there was no body. Then I asked my family members to stand near a conveyer belt which was vacent and the bagages were supposed to be unloaded on this belt as was informed by other Airline Staff. This display board was also not showing any thing. Then, I went to Go Air counter produced my ticket and obtained eight boarding passes. I informed that some bagages of my are being unloaded by Spice Jet. Some member of Go Air Staff went along me at Conveyer belt side and talked to Spice Jet persons Also who by that time reached to the conveyer belt and bagages were unloaded. One of my bag was delivered to me around 7:42 PM but for other bagages dispite our serveral request alongwith Go Air Staff member could not delivered to us till 7:55 PM. Meanwhile, go air staff member received a mobile call and she left one junior person with us and went back to her counter when we started for boarding in the security check the junior staff member informed as that before going to the security check we will have to go to the counter first then we all alongwith our bagages went to the counter. The staff member of Go Air was busy on mobile phone and we kept on requesting her that there is very short time left in deperture of flight and please look at our matter. Her mobile call ended at around 8:02 PM and she informed us that we cannot board the flight now and our boarding has became no show. We tried to convince her but she expressed her inability. Meanwhile other pessangers who were standing before the counters for other flight of Go Air also protested and informed that after issuing boarding passes they cannot restrain the pessanger from boarding the flight. We kept on requesting her that the ladies and children are with us and in night where will we go. After looking to the pressure from the pessanger she took the boarding passes from me and said "I will talk to my seniors" and inform you. After 10 - 15 minutes again she came that they can rebook the flight for next day by paying Rs.750/- per ticket and differential fare charges. We had no option as we had ladies and children with us and therefore we aggreed to that. Then we went to GoAir booking window for rebooking of the next day the person at booking window informed us that we will have to pay Rs.12,840/- we again aggreed to this financial loss also as our family member were getting disparte and tensd. Then, we searched our pocket and collected the money and again went back to the window for new tickets. This time the booking person informed that now we will have to pay around 23,000/-. This money we didnot have in our pocket and therefore we could not get the tickets and our entire tickets money was lost.

                                Since, we would like to know why a pessanger should suffer for inefficiencies of Air lines. Why we were not allowed to board the flight even after issuing boarding passes. If the bagages was the issue then only one person could have been detained and why other seven pessangers were to suffer for that. Why it took more then half an hour for delivering bagages. That day we had to stay in hotels and next day we arrange some private vehicle and come back by paying more than a sum of Rs.20,000/- who will be responsible for this loss apart from loss of ticket money and one complete working day of two Chartered Accountants. We request you to look into the matter and raised this issue before appropirate authorities of respective Airlines and help us in getting our loss recovered.

                                  I booked a ticket for my brother Sqn. Ldr. Gaurav Bahatnagar and his wife woth PNR number F3SCDM. The filght was from Ahmedabad to New Delhi on 28th Nov 09. Due to some unavoidable circumstances we wanted to postpone the ticket but when i called the SpiceJet number they said that this is a Indian Armed Forces Personnel ticket and it cannot be changed or cancelled. There is nothing written on the terms & condition on the ticket which say this. I would like to cdancell my ticket and get all my money back.

                                    Here I would like to log my complaint towards one Spicejet employee, whom I met in Mumbai airport on 15th November 2009. While travelling from Mumbai to bangalore through their one of the Spicejet flight (343).

                                    His behaviour towards the pasenger was too rude, also he unnecessorily taken 500 rupees from me for extra lagugge.

                                    I have a similar complain against "Ms. Shweta" at Bangalore airport, who is extremely rude and arrogant.
                                    We went through a harrowing experienc (complaint posted) where this lady who is supposed to handle customer care was only revelling at the fact that she had sent the flight "FULL' as per a comment by her collegue who smirked when we went to collect our boarding pass and were refused the same 20 minutes prior to the take-off!!!
                                    I wonder if these complaints are redressed!! Iwant action to be taken againt 'Ms.Shweta'.

                                      I was travelling from delhi to mumbai via spicejet on October 28, 2009. I reached the airport on time and checked-in my luggage. I was waiting for announcement and found that spicejet had left without me. I checked with counter and found that they tried to contact on my mobile which was switched off due to low battery. They did not even bother to make announcement knowing that I was at airport.


                                      I believe they did this because they had overbooked the last tickets at very high price. I eventually had to pay additional Rs. 7250.00 to board next flight.

                                      It seems that spicejet once they send sms or make attempt to call on mobile feel that their responsibility is over. The spicejet staff at delhi is also very arrogant and were not even willing to give contact details of their GM to make a complaint.

                                      spice jet is one of the worst airlines !!! and wonder what their employees sitting at the check-in counter are arrogant about!!
                                      Or is it that they are spicejet's enemies sitting in disguise, who behave so, so that people never dream of taking this airline again!!!

                                      I had travelled on 18th Feb Morning Spicejet Flight No.301 from Delhi to Chennai.While Security check I have left my Mobile and remember on enter to the flight.Though I reported to the Flight attender and they tried to locate the same at the security but not able to locate .

                                        I was trying to book flights from Delhi to Goa on 14th November as they were using the special discount for children. After the amount was charged to my AMEX Card I received a message that the seats do not exist anymore and it will not be charged to my CARD.

                                        I booked this again second time and could do the booking and noticed that the price for one sector has gone up.

                                        But surprisingly I noticed that Spicejet has charged this amount twice against my AMEX Card.

                                        The first booking of Rs 27,356 was for 4 adults and 3 children. The Booking id did not ask for the date of birth. While booking second time, we noticed that one child will be more than 12 years on the travel date, so it was changed to 5 adults and 2 children and booking was made.

                                        The amount Rs, 27356 should not have been charged to AMEX Card as the booking was never made and the display also said so.
