Dear Sir / Madam,
Subject: Letter of complaint for a baggage loss.
Complaint no: 54619
Passengers: Mr. Sanjay Solanki & Mr. Ramesh Padaya
Ticket no: C38UEN
Flight number: SG 101
From: Delhi 24th December 2009
To: Mumbai 24th December 2009
On 24th December 2009, I had checked in with four baggage’s from Delhi Airport, but while boarding at the Delhi Airport I could get only three baggage’s, the other baggage was found missing. On enquiring I was told that the baggage had not passed clearing, which would take some time and hence will be delivered to me in Mumbai in a day’s time after verifying it’s contents. For this I was asked to write an authority letter, stating that I agree to my baggage being delivered to me in the preceding flight or by courier, at the earliest after its verification, which I did and handed over to them. Two days later when I called up Spice Jet customer care, I was told that the baggage cannot be found & will get back to me in few days time. After my repeated attempts to get in touch with the concerned people trying to locate my baggage, I was finally told (after almost a week) that my baggage has been lost & for which I would be compensated a mere sum of Rs. 1000, an offer which is totally unacceptable and already rejected by me to your customer care executive (Delhi & Mumbai) over phone.
As I’ve formally been told that my baggage has been lost, I am writing to request that you compensate me for the loss of my baggage, without further delay. The total amount of the whole contents is Rs. 15340.
Regards,
Sanjay Solanki.
