I, Milan Kinlekar, had a FD with SBI bank, Mapusa, Goa of Rs. 40, 000/-. I am a disability pensioner and my husband is a daily wage earner. We live in Goa. In March 2018 SBI contacted me offering credit card saying that it would be useful in an emergency like hospitalisation.. SBI Credit Card (SBICC) had a counter inside the bank and issued a credit card. My FD was used as lien. I got lured in obtaining a credit card and lost all my savings due to Indo Shop/TransDeal questionable package of free hospital anywhere in India, fraudulent transactions and bank charges.
In April 2018 IndoShop initiated contact and offered membership which would include free hospitalisation for Rs. 8, 650/- for which I paid. I received a discounted hotel package among other irrelevant benefits from Transdeals. No mention of free hospital!
In June 2018 two unauthorised transactions of Rs, 10, 000/- each were carried out by Paytm Noida. SBICC Goa, Jaffer Shaikh refused my transaction dispute letter and directed me to nodal officer. I wanted to save the balance of my FD but Mr Jaffer refused to cancel my card until I paid Rs. 10, 104/-. FD was invoked in December 2018 after bank fees and the fraudulent withdrawals were deducted. I lost Rs.43, 000/--+.
Complaints to nodal officer, pgportal resulted in SBI alleging that I shared pin and/or OTP. This is a false allegation. Kerala High Court’s judgment of 4 February 2019 convinces me that I am not liable for unauthorised withdrawals regardless of SMS’s sent.
There are at least 4 similar complaints to Complaints Complaints platform. These complainants allege that SBI shared their confidential information.

Transdeals is an insecure site. There are several complaints under the ‘credit card’ category of Consumer Complaints platform, and even more against SBICC. When I confronted SBI Bank about giving my contact and FD details to SBICC, they denied having any relationship with SBICC, yet SBICC had their counter in SBI Bank premises.
Besides, it was irresponsible of SBI to issue me a credit card as I am a pensioner and don’t file tax returns. The fact that SBICC head office is in Delhi, IndoShop operates in Delhi and the withdrawals were made in Delhi indicates that SBI has not done enough to prevent all forms of fraud resulting in loss to its customers. More importantly SBI’s sharing my FD details and contact with SBICC constitutes a breach of confidentiality. SBI has not created a safe electronic banking environment to fight fraud. SBI has failed abysmally in its duty to protect my money and my interests.
I hope you will take cognisance of this as SBI is in denial. It is a crying shame that SBI Bank lacks the courage to attach crorepati defaulters’ assets, and even writes off huge loans, but without blinking an eye steals poor people’s hard-earned money due to dishonest practices. This FD was my only saving.

    This is regarding an unauthorized transaction made with my debit card of INR 2700
    My account is debited with the name of OTHPG paytm with rs 2700 without any message
    i never use card online and never share card details to anybody
    please give me a solution

      I have saving bank account with SBI. Someone withdrew money by using AEPS from my SBI account on three consecutive days i.e. 02 Feb. 03 Feb and 04 Feb. On every day INR 10000.00 were withdrawn from account. Thus total Rs.30000.00 were scammed from account. I have complaint to bank and also lodged FIR with Cyber police on 04 Feb 2023. Please help in getting this money back.

            I have sbi credit card since last year, in one year i faced so many issues with the SBI credit card about unnecessary deduction and late fee charges. i really regret to inform about SBI credit card service is not good, they just cheat to customer sbi services are not good and
            fed up with collecting charges heavily

            they are sending statements so much amount

                            Desirable Resolution: Issue an appropriate Swift Transfer Receipt

                            I used the Internet banking service of the State Bank of India for making a Forex Outward Remittance towards tuition fees, to a foreign institute. Such transfers happening over the SWIFT network mandatorily have a record and a receipt is generated in form of an 'MT103' receipt on successful payments. SBI issues a 'Telegraphic Transfer' (TT) receipt to the customers which contains less information than MT103 but is still acceptable at the recipient's end.

                            I used internet banking for foreign outward remittance, I was provided with only a basic transaction success page, and no such receipt was issued. It may be noted that such transaction acknowledgments aren't official proof of payments and formal institutes can not accept these as proof either.

                            Requesting State Bank of India to issue an appropriate proof of payment document.

                              Hello,

                              I'm Karthikeyan and my email address is [protected]@gmail.com. I've a SBI credit card with sum of Rs.51000 and due to lay off I'm not able to pay due for past 4 months. In this case, I tried to get waiver to close it. My current outstanding is of Rs. 64, 950. I can able to pay sum of Rs.24000 as final settlement however an collection agent proposed me sum of Rs.44000 as settlement which I can't afford right now due to job discontinuity.

                              I need some one from SBI (not from third party collection agency) can contact me and do the needful.

                                  “As informed by State Bank of India, the name of the deceased in the PPO is Geeta Sarkar and that in the death certificate is Geeta Som. Hence, either of the documents must be rectified for further processing of the application. Thereafter, a copy of the amended PPO/Death certificate and Family Pensioner Application should be submitted to SBI Kasba Br for onward submission to CPPC for processing. Accordingly you may take appropriate action at your end.”

                                  This cannot be an excuse that since my mother's death certificate displays Geeta Som and her PPO is displaying Geeta Sarkar, the family pension cannot be regularized. We live in Bharat (India) and here it is the customary that after a girl is married, her surname gets changed according to her husband's surname, which is clearly displaying in the PPO along with the Life Certificate Declaration submitted by my mother during her lifetime and her status of her marriage along with my father 's and mother's photograph attached in the PPO along with my mother's signature attested on it.

                                  Unfortunately, due to the lackadaisical approach and nonchalant attitude of the concerned authority, it seems to me that it has fallen on deaf ears and NO ACTION has been initiated till date just to harass and deny my octogenarian father from his entitlement (to get family pension long overdue) with a nefarious intention.

                                  However, please note that at this age 82 he was made to approach several times to the concerned bank authorities, even during COVID pandemic period commuting all the way from Patuli to Kasba, but to no avail. He has complied with all formalities and protocols requirements as and when asked by the bank's Pension Cell/Manager at the twilight/fag end of his life standing one-legged at the counter with a hope that this time it will be regularized.

                                  Therefore, I would request you if you could get his family pension regularized with your means.

                                      I am old Customer of SBI Bank
                                      I applied for cashback credit card but Application not processing n diclined automatically. I requested n complaint by email n Twitter but no one giving proper response and i have excellent credit score history. I wand sbi cashback credit card. But still no updates.                                         Hello, I Deposited 25000/- in atm machine but cash has not received my account .I got a slip from CDM machine which shows RETRACTED INFO ..please help
                                        State Bank of India [SBI] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
