Hi,

I have been a user of Tata Indicom Service No [protected]. I discontinued the connection due to poor service and poor customer (un)support complaint no[protected]. After discontinuing they kept on generating the bills for another 2-3 months. Then after 3 months I got a Court notice for not paying the bill and defaulting. The TATA Indicom people handed over a receipt to me alongwith a NOC stating that all the dues have been cleared by this Customer. However, after nearly 8 months, without any intimation from Tata Indicom I got a call supposedly a Government Advocate calling from Delhi Court and claimed that a legal complaint (Civil Case Section 420) has been filed against me by Tata Indicom. I was asked to pay a pending (according to them) bill of Rs. 2000/- within half an hour to avoid coming to Delhi Court and getting arrested by the cops. The way he was talking was very rude and unethical. I never thought that a company of such a stature would adopt such inhuman way of making its customers pay the bill ( bill which was already settled )

The reason I am submitting this complaint is-

1. I had paid all the dues and have legal proof of everything. Even then they adopted such an illegal and manhandling way of getting the payment from me. There was no intimation before filing the legal case. I had no clue that my connection was not actually discontinued.

2. I am filing a case of harrasment since they called me out of the blue using abusive and disrespectful language and threatened me with the legal case. They asked me to pay the bill of 4500 within next 30 mins! I was not even provided with any billing details.

I want a compensation from Tata Indicom for the harrasment.

    Hi,

    A service called Music Mall has been activated without my consent. The customer care person says it gets activated on accidental click on any pop up.Due to which money is constantly being deducted even though on my repeated request for the deactivation of this service.

    Can docomo stop providing such services which can be activated by just a innocent and accidental click on any pop up. They cannot afford to cheat their customers in this way!

    My earnest request to DEACTIVATE (written in bold so that the docomo people can understand what it reads) this Music Mall service or i will have to discontinue my number and search for other customer providers.

    Also i would like a them to discontinue such a pop up wich gets activated without any kind of registration.

      We are using Tata Docomo prepaid mobile service since last few years.

      The mobile no is [protected]. The connection is in the name of my wife Mrs Dipanwita Maity.

      On 31.12.2012, during our visit to a place called Taki in West Bengal, a balance of Rs 99/- & Rs 65/- (Total Rs 164/-) deducted by Tata Docomo on account of Roaming Charge & one SMS charge. My wife tried a to make a call in my Mobile around 4 pm and that time Rs 99/- was deducted although the call could not be connected

      We have used other mobiles from other prepaid service provider e.g. Airtel, BSNL & T24 etc on the same day at Taki and no one has neither deducted any such roaming fees and nor the abnormal SMS charges.

      Based on the above fact, I requested Tata Docomo repeatedly for reversal of my balance which was deducted in an unauthorized / wrong way. But my request was blantly turned down by them.

      In this circumstances I feel myself extremely cheated by Tata Docomo and request you to kindly take this issue up so that I can get a resolution against the mental harrasment and balance deduction.

      Airtel Prepaid Connection — Abnormal reduction of charges

      Dear Sir/Madam

      This is regarding my prepaid Airtel Recharge Coupon No. : [protected] of Rs. 55/-

      Airtel Recharge No. : [protected]

      Dt. 6th November 2007 at 9:30 PM from Chirag Delhi's shop, I purchased above coupon to recharge my Airtel No. : [protected].

      But after recharging I found that coupon no. is already used before 1 month (i got this information from Airtel cust. care).

      Now I wanna get back my Rs. 55/- what should i do ? The Airtel Cust. Care and the shopkeeper from where I purchase that coupon said to me. You may send a written compaint to Airtel and you should get a solution.

      Tata Docomo — Abnormal deduction of balance

      To my surprise i receive an sms from Tat Docomo thanking me for downloading a wallpaper ( which i m yet to receive till date ) and subsequently the charges being deducted. I would like to specially mention that i am yet to come across such adamant, rude and inefficient Customer Care (i[censored] can call it so) unit. After no co operation from Customer Care I mailed the nodal officer on 3rd and 9th of Dec to which I am still awaiting a response.
      I thoroughly regret the decision of subscribing to this network.

      TATA DOCOMO Prepaid Mobile Connection — Deduction of charges from my prepaid account

      Yesterday, TATA DOCOMO has deducted Rs. 30 unnecessarily from my TATA DOCOMO Prepaid a/c for BOLLYWOOD GOSSIPS_crm_30, which I never subscribed for.

      Even customer care does not seem to take interest in my complain.

      I need my money back. so, kindly do the needful.

      Tata Docomo — CHEATING AND UNAUTHORIZED DEDUCTION FROM PREPAID ACCOUNT

      Just to warn other customers to be careful of the mobile service providers wherein they deduct money from the prepaid accounts without the knowledge of the customers.

      Just to explain the circumstances and an experience, I received an SMS from TATA DOCOMO at 6.19 P.M. on 17th April 2011 that Rs. 30.00 (Rupees thirty only) has been deducted from my prepaid account as I have subscribed to their SHERO-SHAYARI service which came as a surprise to me as I had not subscribed to it. Immediately I called up their customer care and complained to them at 6.23 P.M. and the call agent confirmed that it was a wrongful deduction and that it would not happen again!! At 6.29 P.M. I received a message that the said wrongful deduction of Rs. 30/00 (rupees thirty only) has been credited to my account and that my complaint for wrong deduction has since been closed under reference number GBL[protected]. What if I had not noticed this deduction?? Quietly they would have made more money ripping me off!!!

      TATA OR NO TATA everyone is in the game of ripping of[censored]nsuspecting customers in debiting the prepaid accounts without the knowledge of the customers and making stupendous amount of money in the bargain. I guess all the customers should start a movement against these unscrupulous mobile service providers that any subscription to services should be a subject of written confirmation from the customers and nothing else. No SMS based confirmation will do and they will continue to continue this unethical practice of ripping of[censored]nsuspecting customers and this matter has to be brought to the attention of TRAI (if it is of any use!!!!).

      In the first instance this service pack had been activated surreptitiously and without any confirmation from my side. I am using this forum to keep other customers warned off this illegal activity so that they are aware and can take effective measures to stop such surreptitious deduction from their accounts.

      I would like to emphatically and unequivocally state that I do not wish that any service pack be activated without my express written confirmation to the effect. I also wish that all other customers do consider taking this position of written confirmation as the only mode of activation of service.

      Tata Docomo — Balance deducted from prepaid number

      Hi,

      I possess a TATA DOCOMO prepaid mobile connection. Earlier around April 23-24, they un-wantedly activated job alert service and deducted Rs 30/- from my account. When I registered a complaint within 24 hours, they said they can't refund, but they deactivated the service. I ignored that and then have not used the SIM for approx 1.5 months.

      Recently on June 8th, I recharged my SIM with Rs 222/- and immediately within an hour Rs 60/- deducted from my account. When I enquired, they deducted that amount for Bollywood songs and Job Alert (again this time) services. I made only two calls from my number when I came to know about this deduction. I haven’t registered for any such kind of services. I registered complaint within few hours and customer care representative told me that it will be resolved by June 10th sharp 6:50PM. However, that hasn’t happened. When I chatted with online customer care representative, he told me that no money deducted and hence the complaint is resolved. How is that possible? Are you guys making people fools?

      This time I wouldn’t let it as it is. I want my money to be refunded. My registered complaint reference number is : GBL[protected]. My mobile number is : [protected]

      Kindly take this up and update me on the refund status. In addition, I don’t want such kind of issues in future and therefore remove my number from such automatic deductions.

      Tata DoCoMo Prepaid Mobile — deduction of 150 rupees without any reason,

      Sir myself Dr Hitesh Assudani is using Tata docomo prepaid mobile since last 4-5 months on 15 or 16 th august suddunly 150 rupees were deducted from my prepaid balance. I tried to call to customer care executive but all time they are saying my voice is not reaching to them but i can clearly hear their voice. They are cheaters.

      sir, my mobile balance was deducted by providing unwanted service without my consent on 19/08/2011. several times they have done such type of activity and from customer care there is no response after calling them they play the cassette that all operator are busy.
      You have not given any complaint number to me.I got 30 rs back in my account. Yesterday i again tried to talk to costomer care person. Again for two times he said he cant hear my voice. What is this I called 10 times but everytime he cant hear my voice. I got ur reply on 20 th august and today is 23 rd august what about my 150 rs.

      tatadocomo prepaid mobile — unauthorised deductions from the balance

      I have one pre paid TATA DOCOMO connection [protected]. Today I received two messages informing me that my balance has been used in activating two services for which I never requested. This way my balance of Rs 40.00 has been deducted. I contacted customer care and wanted to know as to how both the services have been activated without my request. It is informed by them that they have invented a novel way of day light dacoity. With SMS informing call charges, the company has mixed a request for any service and as soon customer unknowingly OKs the call cost charges, some service is activated without customer actually knowing that he has give consent for any service activation and customer balance is automatically deducted. THIS IS NOTHING BUT MOST CLANDESTINE WAY OF LOOTONG POOR CONSUMER.

      Tata docomo prepaid mobile — re credit of the amount after complaint

      This is to bring to your notice that my account is being charged unreasonably for activation of services which I have not requested. All these deductions happened even when I had sufficient balance of data usage left in my account.

      1. 19 Jan, 2013, I was charged Rs. 21 for music box for which I filed a complain with the customer care and the amount got deactivated however, the amount was not credited back to my account.
      2. 19 Jan, 2013, I had recharged for Rs. 50 and Rs. 40 from my balance was deducted without any messages, the same has not been reversed yet. (I have not subscribed to any services except missed call alerts)
      3. 20th Jan, 2013, I received 3 messages saying that my account didn't have sufficient balance to process my request. (I had not subscribed to any of your services)
      4. 21st Jan, 2013, Rs. 7 was deducted from my account twice. I spoke to the customer care executive and only Rs. 7 was refunded to my account. (I had not subscribed to any of the services and had not downloaded)
      5. 21st Jan, 2013, I received 2 messages saying that my account didn't have sufficient balance to process my request. (I had not subscribed to any of your services)
      6. 21st Jan, 2013, I was charged Rs. 14 for monthly Dating Tips pack which I have not subscribed for.

      Please do the needful at the earliest. Else I will have to look for an alternative service provider in a day or two.

        recharges of rs 150 done some days back on number
        [protected] were not credited as balance due to complete baseless
        deduction of this amounts. No satisfactory explaination provided
        by concerned officials of said provider. This deduction require
        immidiate credit to balance.

        Another same issue came with the recent recharge of rs 20. Not
        full credit was provided and large portion was taken out without
        any reason.

        In addition to above there seems to be prevailment of robbing
        tendency with the recharges everytime whenever evdo network
        is active as deductions on ground of data usage has been
        done INSPITE OF NO DATA CONSUMPTION WAS THERE
        IN MAJORITY OF INSTANCES.

          I bought a tata docomo photon plus prepaid last month. When I purchased they promised the net speed will be above 1.6 Mbps (since they say they provide upto 3.2 Mbps.) but the speed is not even 200Kbps, and most of the time it is below 50 kbps. Also they promised that they have seamless connectivity (as they have networks all over TN), but when I tried to connect from Tiruchendur 2-weeks back(23 - 25th dec/2012) I could not even find the network. When I checked with the Docomo office in Chetpet, they say they are not responsible for those type of issues. I don't know how many of them will fall as a prey for them.

            This is fourth time, that TATA DOCOMO a mobile service provider, has deducted money from balance for TOM service, which i had never subscribed, earlier also, i had complaints to the customer care of said company. they had pay back my balance, but again they had activated the same service after two days on my mobile and again they deducted money for the same service., This is so irritating as well as time consuming. for every time they activate the service and i had to call on customer care and asked for my deducted money. it is my request to you that, ordered the TATA DOCOMO to shut down this direct activation service and returned my as well as other customers money which they had deducted from our balance, without asking us.

                  I am jaya, my mobile number is [protected]. I have been charged 99 rs for mobile tv on 29 december 2012, I have no idea how it got activated, I deactived it but the money is not refunded. I spoke to the customer care they said they cannot help and the money cannot be refunded . The next day I recharged my balance, again the mobile tv got activated on 31st december and balance 99 rs is deducted again, I deactivated it the next minute ,but the money is not refunded. I called the customer care they said they will do something and given me the reference number [protected]. The next day I called the customer care they dint listen to me nor did they take the reference number put me on hold for long time and then they disconnected the call using cheap tactics. Can u please suggest me what should I do if these services are getting activated every hour, with the subscription money I have to manage for a month I am unemployed but I have to keep going with this number as I get the interview calls for this number, can u suggest me something?.

                    i got one TATA DOCOMO connection [[protected]] for UNlimited calls Plan like Rs. 899 + Tax, Total Bills Come for Rs. 1,010/- but bills came for 1,385/- there is no details for the excess amount, customer care people says, excess payment for value added service, i am not subscribe any value added service, but i paid Rs. 1,100/- my payment Rs. 90/- excess there, but docomo disconnected my outgoing without any intimation,

                    due to this prob there is no response to customer care and i send the mail also nodal officers, there is no reply form any,

                      I SHIAK BAJI BABA using a tata docomo prepaid gsm mobile service. i special recharged with Rs 25 (all std tata to tata 1.2p/3sec and all local tata to tata 1.2p/6sec) on 22/12/12 ( Transaction ID:[protected] ). but when iam called to anyt tata group still charging as normal rates. when i called to docomo customer service they told me that problem wilol be resolved in 3 days but still iam facing same problem, still i called to customer service they told me that we checking your account please be online but waited for 50 minutes but they dont came in line. for this money also dedusted from my account.

                        I recharged Rs 123 Rate cutter by this (03.01.2013) evening around 6.30 PM through Online facility (Official Tata Docomo Online Recharge Website).
                        The website indicated that, "Local On-Net mobile calls free from 10pm to 6pm and 1p/6 sec from 6pm to 10pm. Validity : 30 Days", for my recharged rate cutter Rs 123 in Tamilnadu Circle.
                        But, I was deducted as 1p/3sec (20p/min instead of 10p/min), for Tata Docomo calls during 6PM to 10 PM.
                        I called the customer care representative through 198 complaint tollfree and raised my issue to him, but he (Mr.Gobi) was not respond to me properly and he cut my call without any notification. I again called that 198 complaint hotline, but the Tata Docomo peoples intelligently avoid my call by saying that all their representatives are busy and I should mail to [protected]@tatadocomo.com to register my complaints.
                        The point is, Docomo is cheating me and deducting more money than what they are promised at the time of recharge.
                        Herewith I had attached the screenshots of your website screens, which showing the tariff details for customers during the time of online recharge.
                        So, I request the customer care staffs of Tata Docomo to consider my issue and provide me the tariff of what they are actually promised at the time of recharge. That is, Local On-Net mobile calls free from 10pm to 6pm and 1p/6 sec from 6pm to 10pm. Validity: 30 Days
                        Please do the needful in higher priority, because I will definitely suffer till you do the resolution to my issue.

                          We are using tata photon internet services from last year 2011. We have not received any bills on time even every time we need to call and ask for the bill.
                          Same happned in the month of nov 2012. Tata docomo has not sent any bill for period 25/10/2012 to 24/11/2012 and suddenly a bill of amounted rs18450 is received by us.In that bill they have not deducted the payment of previous bill which i have already paid.Is this kind of service Tata company is providing. after that we called at customer care asked for the detail for usage they were unable to provide the detail. then we spoke to the team leader(Ajay Bakshi) he said he will look into matter and will revert back but we have not received any call regarding the same.Again i called to the manager Mr. shakti Handa and told the problem. He assured me to check the bill n verify it from head office till that he said dont make the payment. Its almost 2 months that our internet connection is not working morever we have not received any solution.We have already informed to disconnect the connection but no answer from ur side. Now we have not going to make any payment for the bill as we are unhappy from the services . kidly look into the matter n do the needful.

                              I kumar is very interested in DOCOMO (Once upon a time) and i am a retailer of tata docomo . But Now it is not at a good choice to who are porting or taking a new connection.here i want to tell about the worst support they are offering.

                              1. when we call to customer care to solve an issue they are allowing us to talk for only one time and when we call for second there is a voice saying to send a mail regarding to that problem.( i think it is not possible to every one to go and mail to you) and sometimes customer care people are disconnecting the line in the middle of conversation with out any notice.

                              2. tariff vouchers they offer are fraudulent ones with a number of conditions that a common man cannot understand and they are not letting customer to know what exactly the offer is.

                              For eg- the situation i faced is i am in 2 sec 1 paisa offer ( ten days to expire ) when i recharged with 222 in order to make use of 2 sec 1 paisa offer for one month from the date of recharge . but i didn't get that offer . when i called to customer care they are saying that you are not eligible for the offer since i am already in 2sec /1 paise offer . then i asked them to cancel the presently available offer in my sim so that i can enjoy the same pack for 30 days on recharging wit 222. for that they are saying that it is not possible and i have to wait for ten more days till the offer i had will expire and then i have to recharge for 222. ( means in that mean time i have to use another sim to talk to others since i have no balance in my sim). SO I CAN SAY FIRMLY THAT THIS OFFER IS A FRAUD ONE AND THEY ARE CHEATING CUSTOMERS BY SAYING THAT THEY WILL PROVIDE UCH OFFER TO ALL WHO RECHARGE WITH 222. and all this non-sense thing about this offer is not known to even retailer also (i.e, me). this is the third time i am suffering with this network.

                              Lastly i want to tell that being a ported customer now i had a worst experience with your

                              a) offers
                              b) Network ( i.e, lack of signal).
                              c) irresponsible customer service.
                              d) non-reliable offers


                              I sincerely request TRAI people to look after these complaints and provide a channel to consumers in order to share their problems with you .

                              TATA DOCOMO IS VERY CHEATER. IDONT HINK THAT THIS TECHNOLOGY IS FROM JAPAN.
                              Tata dodomo is very cheater company.not only me they doing cheat with so many customers like me in the mnp.i have changed my operator from airtel to tata docomo before changing my operator i have talked to the tata customer care executive.he offered me that they will give me call rates of 1p/2sec for both std calls and local calls 3 months without any rent,but they give me this offer only for local calls after that he also commit me that they will give me 3 gb of internet plan but they give me only 1 gb of internet.secondly main thing is that they have said me that the internet speed will be of 35 -40 kbps but i am getting speed of 1-2 kbps,i have registered complaint so many from last 2 months but they are not solving it.finally i took decision that i will change my operator beacuse tata docomo is very stupid network and one thing more is that nodal officer of tata never use to pick our call because he knows better about tata service...

                                      my name is nadiq. in my number [protected]. I have been charged rs 16 and rs 25 something yesterday for some vas service which i have never manually activated on my number. as per sms recvd, I tried calling 15223 but while choosing option for deactivating, the call automatically gets cuts and when trying *191# it shows no service is activated..
                                      now i lost my money wen i recharged again.
                                      i had earlier complained about this issue and they assured me that
                                      they will stop all vas in my number. but they have not done anything
                                      about it.
                                      I REPEAT, I DO NOT WANT ANY VAS SERVICES AND I WANT MY REFUND BACK.
                                      CANCEL ALL VAS SERVICES IN MY ACCOUNT.
                                      i am really frustrated because of this cheap type of service by you.
                                      please refund my money back and stop all the value
                                      added service in my number.. pls refund my money because as and when i recharge you guys cut the money. because of this i cant recharge also.

                                      i anticipate that u will do the needful to stop the services in my
                                      number and refund my money as soon as possible at your end. hope my

                                        maine 05/5/2011 ko customer care call kar ke apne no. per internet pack activet karvaya tha. custmor care ne bataya 48 me app ko 1GB data aur 30 days ki validity milegi. mere kahane par cus. care dwra pack act kar diya gaya lekin 48 ki jagah 45 ka pack act. kiya gaya jo mere liye bekar hai. kai bar cus care call kar chuka hu lekin koi sunta nahi hai

                                        My complain is regarding the tata docomo customer care.The thing is that we can only connect to their customer care executive only once in a day.Should the call drop in between then during the rest of the day i cant speak to them to register a complaint from my number [protected].Instead its diverted to an automed voice saying that all executives are busy whereas we can at the same time connect to them from any other docomo or any other network.On reporting this they first of all denied and then accepted that indeed its their company policy to block calls to care executive after 3 calls/day,even if its for complaints.In mine the limit is just 1call/day.Please see the attached chat with their care executive where they have admitted to this.Please look into this and take necessary steps to address the same because its not legal to block customers from registering complaints for any service.
                                        I have tata docomo gsm prepaid connection. When I called 198 to get information about local and STD pack, they refused to give me information about it and told me to call 52222 which doesnt give the required information. After that I again called 198 but the call gets disconnected after saying that all executives are busy. I called on 198 many times at different time but I faced the same problem. This is not fair. Please help me and take strict action against them. It is my kind request.

                                        I just called customer care and he said me to vait for transfer a call bt still i am wating for a hour ago tata docomo has a very stupid customer care please do not behave like this
                                        i turn of my mobile data few minutes before the validity, after that i lost my balance then i called the customer care they pick up the phone and i told ma problem suddenly they cut the phone, i can only talk to the customer care exicutive one time in a day.if i try again in the same day they don&#039;t pick up the phone.
