It gives me huge pain to write at this forum about the unforgettable and its really disappointed with the series of events happened with my wife when she visited one of your Vodafone store to get the new SIM on behalf me due to unavailability of vodafone store at my current location (Cherrapunji, Meghalaya) at Howrah Maidan, Howrah 711101.

As per my discussion with vodafone corporate care team, I did exactly what was told to me and sent the NOC letter along with all other documents to be specific to the documents My Aadhar Card, My Wife's Aadhar Card, FIR copy of the lost Phone & SIM card, our marriage certificate and a copy of the mail received from vodafone corporate team but what exactly happened at Vodafone store can be even seen in CCTV camera of that store too. I'm writing the zest of it below-

1. After submitting the documents at the store, it was again refused and when my wife argued on the basis of the mail, she got very rude treatment and were answered he can't give SIM and she has to go to Bangalore to get the SIM

2. After asking for refusal in written, it was also denied

3. when my wife took me over the phone and let me speak to Debasish (if I'm not mistaken), I explained him about our conversation and tried to convince him but he did not listen to me too. I asked my wife to leave. I even said how come one has to go to Bengaluru just to get a SIM and its not even told by Corporate care team whereas I had explained that my wife can get it in Kolkata/Howrah whichever is nearby to her and it was never told to me that one has to go to Bengaluru to get the SIM.
Just to add on, when requested for getting the SIM delivered at my wife's place, I had mentioned the address of Howrah only, Then how come someone can deny giving SIM of another circle...???

4. After all, these when my wife told that she will make a complaint against him and asked for his card, as usual, he denied (No wonder, after all his arrogance and behavior how can someone give his card)

5. When wanted to take the token, he did not let that happen too (really..?)

6. When she wanted to take his photograph, he snatched mobile from my wife's hand (How come this person has even been allowed to work with Vodafone..??)

    Dear vodafone,

    This is probably my 1000th email to vodafone in regard to the deactivation of the sim (No. [protected]).

    I am currently studying abroad and so i haven't used the sim in 5 months. My family members have made repeated attempts to deactivate the sim, and so have i, through email as i am not in india.

    I have been forced to pay the due bills which are coming for last 5 months (After multiple deactivation requests). I was assured by mr. Hitender sharma (Vodafone representative) that once i pay the due bill and send him my photo id along with the receipt my sim will be deactivated and so i did. My sim was never deactivated and i have received another bill. I will not be paying this bill under any circumstances.

    My family members have been repeatedly harassed by vodafone representatives on phone calls and vodafone stores, including abusive language being used with my father. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have also been given threats of legal notices.

    After 5 months of struggle and repeated requests, this is my final attempt to get the sim deactivated. I am humbly requesting you to please get my sim deactivated.

      Hi team
      I have been waiting for more than 24 hours when i call up for 4 times to executive in 2 days i got below responses. Recharge with rc35 yesterday

      1 st executive on 24th jan - wait for 30 minutes sir out going will be activated
      2nd executive on 24th jan wait for 30 minutes sir out going will be activated
      3rd executive on 24th jan wait for 2 hours sir out going will be activated
      4th executive on 25th jan again the executive is asking for wait for 30 minutes to just get the outgoing activiated?
      I dont understand why waiting time is soo high?

      Kindly resolve this at the earliest.

        Hi,
        I Have been using my Vodafone number past 9 years but due to unavoidable circumstances I was not using my number from last few months. I had used my number last was in the month of Oct-2018. Then in Jan-2019, I decided to use number regularly and I realized that there was no service on my phone. I immediately called Vodafone customer care and told them about the issue. They told me that its if Once the number has been out back in the pool and assigned to someone else, you cannot get the number assigned to you again. I conveyed to them that I have that number past 9 years so that I want my number back. They did not have answer to it.
        I went to Vodafone store and told the issue to the executive. But He told the same things if the number is not active for 3-4 months it will be recycled.
        Then I tried calling that number to check who has been allotted with my number. The number has been already allotted to someone else. So, I would want my number back and I am ready to submit all documents.

        I am really disappointed with Vodafone for this as they did not bother to intimate me even through mail. Just to get new customers they cannot just ignore existing customers. I have all my banks connected to me through my Vodafone number. Even my bank statements go to that number. And also, I have some professional connection connected only through that number. Please help me to get my number back.

          Dear Team,

          Subject: To Port Vodafone Mobile number [protected] from Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle as well Change in Account Name from Wockhardt Corporate Account to My personal account.

          I am using Vodafone Number [protected] (Mumbai Circle) since decade.
          In November 2016, I shifted to Aurangabad from Mumbai and same Vodafone number ([protected]) converted into Corporate account (Wockhardt Corporate Account) from my personal account. As Wockhardt Admin Personnel said, Wockhardt will provide NOC (No Objection Certificate) when I will leave the Wockhardt organization.

          In December 2018, I have resigned from Wockhardt Ltd (Aurangabad, Maharashtra) and shifted to Mumbai.
          So, I have requested to Wockhardt Admin personnel to provide me NOC for Change in Account of Vodafone Number ([protected]) from Wockhardt to my Personal Account and Port from Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle.
          Wockhardt Admin Personnel has given me all the required documents for change in account name (From Wockhardt to Personal account) as well as port in Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle as mentioned by the Vodafone Executive. All the required documents I have submitted to Nearest Vodafone stores (Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai Vodafone Stores) on 31st 2018.

          Vodafone rejected my Port request on 10th January 2019. When I inquired from Vodafone customer care then they said Authorized Person name is not matching with as per their current list, as the admin person was also left the Wockhardt.
          Then I asked the available authorized person from Wockhardt to provide me NOC and they provided. I have submitted the fresh NOC as per the requirement from Vodafone to nearest Vodafone Stores after their request on 14th January 2019.

          Vodafone Executive has verified all the submitted documents as sent me a mail, that
          "All required Documents are received from your side and there is nothing is Pending from your side, we will complete your request latest by 22nd January 2019”.

          In 23rd January 2019, when I followed-up with the Vodafone executive for my request, then they were telling me that it is still under process. I am following with Vodafone since one month and Vodafone executives are not communicating me about problem for process. They are just delaying my request.

          Now I am very much dis-appointed from Vodafone Service. Please do the needful.

          If more information required from my side then please let me know. I have copy of all the required documents and mail communication from Vodafone. I am not able to attach the email communication held with Vodafone. As there is no Provision for PDF attachment, option is only available for Photo and Video not for Document or PDF.

          A fresh Application has been given for my mobile number [protected] to Jio Communication for Porting (from Vodafone to Jio). Jio Communication has accepted my request but Vodafone has rejected my application, stating that Authorized Person Name is mismatching. I have mailed them that "I have received this letter from the Authorized Person Only, if you want you can validate the same". But Vodafone is not doing the same, they just rejecting my application again and again.

          please note that, there is nothing id due from my side, I don't know why Vodafone is not accepting my request and they are just talking on phone and not writing on E-mail clearly.

          One more issue, whenever I am mailing to Vodafone, always new person is talking who is dealing like new issue only. Literally I am fedup with Vodafone now.

            I paid 698.56 via paytm before MNP. After 3 days ECS was done for 698.56 and on asking to company i was told it will be adjusted in last bill. I havent get credit and now in last bill they are adjusting it from 500 deposit then where is my 698.56. I am trying to complain from each and every source but not booking complain or there is no option to talk to vodafone executive on [protected]

              I had gone to four bunglows vodafone store for changing my big sim card to a nano sim. Mr. Sujit (Working at goregaon vodafone store [protected]) told me it can't be done and gave me a billing plan. He told me after one month he ll convert it into prepaid. Later he stopped picking my calls and told me that i have to pay 3 months bill only to convert it into prepaid. I told him to convert it into prepaid. He stopped picking my calls and blocked me on whatsapp and told me "jo action lena hai le lo mere pe". I visited vodafone store four bungalows to pay the 3 rd month bill. But i was told yesterday that it all get converted to prepaid on 2 and of february 2019. I made the bill payment yesterday and went. This is harassment at its best. I want you to take strict action against mr. Sujit asap. He must have cheated many people and has a very rude behaviour.

                Dear vodafone

                I have lost sim. I am using corporate sim since 4 years. I lost my sim along with mobile. So i have blocked sim. When i visited nearest vodafone store to get sim they asked for noc from company. But the company was shutdown now. I need that sim because all the important information is linked with it. Before blocking sim i have explained my criteria with customer service representative. He promised that i will get my sim blocked. I have recorded that call also. This is unfair vodafone. Pls give my sim

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  I have been a loyal Vodafone customer for years, however I have had the worst customer experience recently and would like to bring to your attention the inconvenience and mental harassment I have faced in the last 15 days due to complete negligence and lack of support from your team.

                  To provide some background, opted for an International roaming plan while in Vietnam for Rs 599 (valid for 10 days). I activated my plan on 6th Jan 2019 and used the services from 6th Jan-10th Jan. In this duration, I have received an enormous bill of Rs 32, 245 which is absolutely ridiculous. I feel completed cheated as a customer and would like to highlight the key issues with this bill below:

                  1. My dynamic credit limit has been set to Rs14, 400 without my consent or approval, neither has any information been provided to me regarding this at the time of taking the international roaming plan or during the international travel. As per the the dynamic credit limit policy, the customer is required to make an interim payment if this limit increases. However, I got no update with regards to reaching this limit, while roaming internationally, and without taking any approval from me to increase this limit, I was charged another Rs18, 000 on top of the credit limit.

                  2. The bill generated is absolutely baseless as I did not use my data services and have been charged wrongly for it. I was using my wifi services throughout and did not turn on data services, so how have I been charged for it.

                  3. There are inaccuracies in the bill, the breakdown I have shared with your nodal office, which again proves that Vodafone is wrongly charging its customers.

                  4. Upon arrival in India on the 10th Jan, I received a message regarding exceeding the credit limit which I did not receive while travelling and my phone services were deactivated. I was asked to make a payment for the same to resume the services. I requested a breakdown of the charges but was told that the bill issue would only be resolved after the bill was generated on the 19th Jan. The matter was left unresolved and I had to suffer the consequences of having deactivated services from the 10-25th Jan. I tried reaching the customer care over a call, email and personal visit to the store in East of Kailash and Okhla, but to no avail. Inspite of repeated requests my phone was not functional and I had to undergo a lot of mental harassment and inconvenience as a result of this.

                  5. I received no call back from the billing team inspite of repeated requests to resolve the matter and finally got a call on 25th Jan wherein the representative was not able to understand the issues shared by me.

                  6. I have been charged a late payment fees on the bill even though it is not my fault as the Vodafone team has been incapable in solving my billing issue.

                  I would not like to be associated with Vodafone anymore and I will not be paying the unrealistic and ridiculous amount charged to me.

                  If you would like me to continue as a Vodafone customer, and not take any strict action, I would request an immediate waiver of the amount charged to me above my original credit limit and also remove the data charges levied to me.

                  I have the complete email trail of my correspondence with your customer service representatives which I will be happy to share as evidence.

                  Look forward to hearing from you at the earliest.

                    Dear Vodafone Team,

                    Again sending ID proof as ‘AADHAR CARD & DRIVING Licence’ in attachment.

                    I am completely tried to share same ID proof since today morning as you can check in my trail mails.

                    Moreover multiple time called on Vodafone Care and they suggest to call Vodafone corporate care on number ‘[protected]’ and ensured me that your request to activate number ‘[protected]’ is already in place and it will effective in next 2 hours but till now after passed 6 hours SIM is temporary deactivate.

                    I really confused that somewhere you guys are saying that your request of activate number is already in place and it will active in next 2 hours and somewhere you guys are just sending mail that please share your ID proof ????

                    Can someone will take it serious and process to further activation ?

                      There were 2 payments made through paytm wallet dated 16 & 17 October 2018. Please find attached screenshots for details of transaction ids.
                      The payment of Rs 396 made on 16 October through paytm was for a recharge order of number: [protected] on vodafone site, and same was successful.
                      The paytm payment of Rs396 made on 17 October was for another recharge order of same number: [protected] on vodafone site, and this order was unsuccesful, but the paytm money was successfully deducted.
                      I didn't recieve this amount back into my paytm account.
                      I request you to verify and check both the paytm transaction IDs and associated vodafone order number at vodafone site, so that you can properly identify them.

                        Dear sir,
                        I have recharged my phone number [protected] on two occasions by mistake.
                        First recharge on 11th dec 2018 for 90 days & second Recharge on 20th Jan2019 valid for 48 days .
                        Second recharge was done as I was getting prerecorded message stating that your account balance is insufficient to make a call .
                        Hence second recharge is overwritten my previous valid plan of 90 days .
                        My complain about the vfone is that
                        1) I called Vodafone customer care where it is told that core balance is required to make a call which is minimum of ₹35 which not mentioned any of the prepaid Recharge plan .
                        2) misleading advertising about the plan.

                        I request you to look into the matter & direct Vodafone to REFUND THE MONEY of second recharge ₹458 .
                        Kindly extend plan validity for 138 days from 11th dec 2018 or refund ₹458.

                          Yesterday, i upgraded my vodafone sim from 3g to 4g. I got the messages to insert new sim to my phone so as per the notification i did the same.
                          Upon having a conversation with vodafone employee, i got to know that my sms services will be stopped and will get started again after 24 hours of inserting my new sim.
                          As per the current regulations otp will be sent for verification and authentication.
                          I am still struggling to get my otps as my sms service is not yet activated.

                          Requesting you to please look into the matter as earliest.

                            I had pre-activated international roaming to start from midnight 22-dec'18 on my number +91-[protected] and was told i would receive confirmatory sms at 12 midnight on 22-12-18. But i did not receive sms so called their helpline at 1 am & 1.25 am and was informed that systems failure so cant check/activate the service. I had to purchase a local sim. On my return i was billed for the roaming service and so i filed my complaint no.[protected]. Vodafone is refusing to reverse the charges although the roaming package was not activated due to their system failure.

                            I am using Vodafone Sim from 5yrs long, Now they are asking if you will not recharge validity for your mobile no then service will be stopped.

                            Validity voucher should extend automatically if i am a frequent user.

                              This is to let you know that i lost my mobile along with the vodafone post paid sim bearing the number [protected]. So i kindly request your end to please block or deactivate the sim number which i have mentioned above. I have lodge the general diary in police than a also regarding the lost of mobile along with the sim. Please block pr deactivate the sim number mention above from today i. E.24/01/2019.co-operation from your end will highly be appreciated and i will remain in debt for ever. (Dipendra pradhan).

                                I am not getting vodafone 3g network in my number [[protected]] for the last 2-3 days. Before that i received 3g network. I am having problems without internet connectivity. I contacted the customer service [198] and reported my complaint. But still no action was taken. I want this internet problem to be solved as soon as possible. Hope you will find a solution to my problem

                                  This is regarding request number[protected] raised to vodafone for mobile data charges.

                                  Dob : 26/07/1988

                                  I have traveled from india to malaysia on 20/21st dec'2018 and on malaysia airport i have connected to wifi but unfortunately wifi got disconnected and data switched on to mobile data for few minutes. I have not used any data but data was on for few minutes due to disconnection to wifi network.

                                  For few mb of data, vodafone bill me for 6500 inr for current month generated on 01st jan 2018. I don't want to pay as i have not used any data as it was activated without notifying to customer.

                                  I have call to customer care to waive charges and they said we will take your request and process waiver. They have taken multiple request and closed without waiving the charges applied.

                                    It seems that i am unable to send texts to 1900 with my vodafone number. It works fine when i am texting other numbers. I suspect that this service has been blocked on my number. Vodafone doesn't allow me to send messages to 1900

                                    I have been trying this from last few days and have even tried to contact vodafone customer service but this hasn't been sorted out yet.

                                    Also, vodafone has been incorrectly charging me in my bills over the last few months.

                                        Dear help desk,
                                        Last one month in my number [protected] sms not sending. I called to customer care and they are informed my sms service is bared and they are not told a proper reson for activating the SMS service. I disappointed with customer care. So please fix to solve this problem permanently. As soon as possible.
