Vodafone store - rai market ambala has got the worst staff that any store can have. Staff member-ms. Seema n the store manager lady aswell are so rude to the customers.
I had requested to port my vodafone number from postpaid to prepaid. My postpaid services were suspended on my request but the prepaid number didnot start working because inspite of charging me rs500 for the recharge, they didnot recharge my number. As a result of which my number was out of service for 3 days. As i was told by seema that i cannot get the first recharge done from anywhere else.
Today i went to the same store n asked them the reason n clarification about not recharging my number, the answer i get is that i didnot remind them n the manager tells me if it was so urgent to keep the number running then why didnt i get the recharge done from outside.
The manager told me this n just walked away.
The stafd was so rude.
When i asked them to be polite n watch her tone, she says - main toh aise e baat karungi.
This shows the standard of vodafone employs.
The way they behave with customers clearly shows how much vodafone cares for their customer.
I am going to take it to consumet court soon as i am not here to take # from below standard people like this.
Just waiting to see what action vodafone takes

    I am not receiving any incoming calls on my vodafone number, however i am able to make outgoing calls, messages.

    This is causing a lot of trouble, as people are calling me.. But they are getting a message that the number is not available.. Let me know how soon you can resolve this... As i called on your customer care but they were also not aware about it.

    Please let me know what is the issue here

      मैं पिछले कई माह से वोडाफोन के फोन न [protected] पर नेटवर्क से परेशान हूँ। मैने कस्ट्मर केयर, नोडल अफसर, CEO सबको मेल, ट्वीट करके अपनी दिक्कत से अवगत करा चुका हूं। परंतु मेरे से प्रतिमाह जबरदस्ती बिल बसूला जा रहा है जबकि में सर्विस USE ही नही कर पा रहा हूँ।
      अब परेशान होकर अंत मे मुझे अपना नंबर PORT करना पड़ रहा है। मेरे पास लास्ट ऑप्सन यही शेष रहता है। में अपने साथ अपने परिवार व आस पास के कई सारे वोडाफोन पोर्ट करवाकर अन्य नेटवर्क में जाने को विवश हूँ। जबकि मैंने यहां तक बोला कि जब तक आप मेरी तकनीकी दिक्कत दूर नही कर पाते हो तब तक मेरे से बिल न लिया जाए।

        Vodafone india has restricted my incoming and outgoing services because i have not recharge it for a month. They are pressurizing me to recharge my account with not less than 35 rupees pack every month. I am facing so much inconvenience due to this restriction. Now i have only option to port my sim into other service provider because i am getting suitable and cheap rate packs by other service provider.

          To whomsoever it may concern,

          I have been a vodafone customer for the past 5 years. I had pretty okay experience up till now. I am okay with the usual call drops, connectivity issues, slow speeds etc. Recently i went abroad and like a good customer i went your site and activated my international roaming pack, much against the advice of my hubby who told me about getting overcharged or ripped, i believed these things don’t happen to loyal, timely bill paying customers like me (What was i thinking).

          My flight to paris had a brief stopover at kiev (Boryspil airport) during which i used my phone for two calls and a little bit of internet. I reached paris and my phone stopped working. Later a message popped in saying i had over spent my limit.

          After series of calls to all toll helplines which ended utter confusion as they could not figure out what had happened. My calling and internet was the still barred. From there on things on really went downlhill because the very next day i got a message which said i had raised an unpaid bill of 1.44 lakhs. Yep that’s not a typo. Shocked and outraged, i again tried several helpline numbers none of which was of any help.

          Every vodafone telecaller had the same reply ‘ma’am, your billing date is on 20th without the bill being raised we can’t tell you the reason for a charge.’ to which i said then why are my calls being barred to which they put it on some server glitch or something. Through the entire weeklong trip i had to go without calling and internet. I decided to sort it out once i come back to india (Again, what was i thinking). They even refused to change the billing date so that i can get the bill and resolve the issue at the earliest.

          The moment i landed, i started calling the helpline even before i reached home or called family to inform we have landed. Every call had the same reply – 1st – they can’t give me any information till my bill is generated and that it could be a server glitch. On asking why can’t they then resume my services, they were a little clueless till i asked repeatedly (Talked about customer care) to which they replied it will be done in the next 2 to 4 hours.

          After 2 days of calling and the tele callers at your end raising more tickets than a bus conductor. I had to go to your centre and talk to the executive who had the same reply, though later he gave me some info after escalated my concern along with my decibel level.

          Looking at the half-baked information he shared with me, i asked him about my activated the international pack. To which he promptly said was only to keep my services on and not for calling or internet (Are you serious?) aghast but still trying to make a sense of things i asked him about why didn’t they stop at 6400 rs. Which was set by me as my upper limit?, he was clueless (Seems to be part of the crm policy) then he gave some gyan about being on international roaming and all.

          Finally he again gave me the line – your bill has not been generated so you have to wait till then. To which i asked to change the billing date so that i can get the bill and resolve the issue at the earliest. The request was obviously refused.

          The good news – my bill finally got generated for a whopping 1.74 lakhs that is more than the cost of my entire paris trip (Including my +1).

          And now my services have again been barred.

          Once again, one calling them i got the same response ‘ma’am, the bill is too high so we can’t do anything about it.

          I have had serious business implications because of my phone not working from 22nd january. I hope you guys have a contingency plan in place to repay me for lost business.

          So dear (Whosoever in vodafone has an iota of a clue) person (S), please tell me how to solve this issue. Let me reiterate -

          -why not specify that you international roaming pack does not include calling or net usage and that it is only for keeping your services on?

          -why was i not informed when i crossed my set limit of 6400 rs? (Why didn’t you barr my services then). The messages you sent me attached here with nowhere specify the cost. How am i supposed to know or keep a tab?

          - the charges might be genuine as your customer care executive has been trying to make me believe from last one month but they have crossed the limit of billing which was mutually set. So i don’t see it as a fault of mine. Your bank stops letting you make transactions moment you reach your limit. They call and inform you. But i didn’t get any info that i have spent more than 20 times my limit.

          -why do you leave your service executives clueless and ill-informed and as lost as a customer in distress? Or why can’t they keep to their words that they will get back to me in 3 days. They rather choose to react in an accusatory manner if i raise a new issue.

          -why is customer bill detail such a top secret issue with you guys?

          -why are not as quick in activating my roaming pack as you were in barring my services?

          I would not even consider the bill generated by you guys legit till you answer of these questions. I am on the verge of taking a legal recourse.

          Received a call from Mr. Chandan. Explained him the case. He mentioned that the credit limit gets automatically increased when a person goes for an international travel. Well it wasn’t mentioned on the website or the activation mail/message I received. And to what extent does it get extended? 20 times? Isn’t that too much without the approval from the customer.

          He also mentioned that the data doesn’t get updated real time during international travels and there is a lag of some 7-8 hours. However, my GPRS services are being interrupted- this message I received while using the data pack for some 4-5 hours. And I was getting all the data usage messages real time. However, none mentioned the cost o[censored]sing the same. Attaching the same again for reference.

          Also, when I make an unusually large transaction on my bank account I receive a call to check if it was actually authorised by me or no. So I guess similarly if a user is activating the IR service should they not receive a call to educate them further about it? Specially the fact that my limit will be extended. Or maybe to just upsell some other pack since I chose the lowest one. Or the mail be written in a more self explanatory manner? I also don’t understand the reason for the lag in activating the pack? I had activated the plan 3 days before leaving so that I am certain that it will be activated. But it got activated 5 days later.

          Also, let me know how do guys plan to reimburse me for lost business days because my outgoing calls and data services have been barred for almost 10 days this month. I have been in constant contact with your customer care team for last one month. In case you want I can send all the previous mails and the responses I got. Some were completely unrelated to the query being raised.

            My prepaid vodafone cell number is +91 [protected]. On 25th jan 2019, i had recharged/remitted rs.458/- through net banking. However, it is not working. Many a times, approached vodafone begumpet service branch, but they have not streamlined. On 25th i had contacted vodafone through another cell and i was assured there is some internet connectivity problem and will be sorted in two hours, but no outcome. Feeling frustrated to approach the service branch at begumpet, hyderabad as it costs me every time minimum rs.400/- as i reside in jeedimetla village, near kompally.

              Dear fodafone,

              I am using vodafone service, contact : [protected], and the plan was changed during april 2018 as per the conversation with customer executive i. E 249/- plan. I was informed that the plan contains unlimited calls and internet. However the internet speed will come down to 3g after 1gb usage.
              In december i got the bill of rs 864/- and when i checked with vodafone they said it because of the extra internet usage which is different from the discussed plan.

              Point to be noted:
              1. Plan was changed based on the conversation with the executive there are no other evidence. Hence i require the recording of the discussion to proceed with the bill payment.
              2. With whose permission vodafone has increased the credit limit. There was no confirmation from us and now credit limit has reached to rs 900.
              3. Soon after i got the bill i had raised the concern to vodafone then why there was no immediate action took place.
              4. I will pay the bill only if the bill changed as per the discussed plan without any late payment fee.

              Please do the needful to have better relationship with vodafone.

                I have a recharge done of 399 for 84 days which provides unlimited calling and 1gb data per day, however after 28 days i. E. From 24th jan 2019 i am not receiving daily 1gb data but unlimited calling is still active till 14th march 2019. Secondly since i am having unlimited calling why i am getting charged to call the customer care toll free number [protected] at 0.50 paise per 3 minutes.

                So i want my data benefits but since my first few attempts for raising a complaint vodafone customer care executives are unable to be approached as the call does not go through.

                  I upgraded my sim to 4g on 24th jan 2019, as per regulations the sms services are barred for 24 hrs, but it’s already 3 days and it’s not yet activated.

                  On talking with customer service rep they said it would be activated shortly but it didn’t happen.

                  I waited again for around 1 day but it’s still not activated and i am unable to complete any bank and online transactions as i am unable to get the otp.

                    Hi team,

                    After repeated followups there is no response from customer care team to resume outgoing service on my mobile, its very pathetic that waiting time just to connect to customer care is just 30 minutes on call. I recharged with rc 35 but still there is no outgoing service enables and all the time executives says it will be activated with 30 minutes

                      I had activated international roaming for traveling to the us but the data services didn't work. Calls could be made but the network would get disconnected frequently. It cost me rs 4600 but it was so frustrating to move about the us with out data support. Have a look into the matter and please resolve it as soon as possible. This is not the kind of experience we want to have.

                          Upgraded sim to 4g at pune baner shop pune but the new sim is not activated even after 48 hours. The old sim is not working and i am stuck.                               I am holding vodafone provider but it network is very bad and call dropping problem I am going to prot my number vodafone to Airtel last 27 Dec 2018 i am trying to prot my number i had sent request they sending prot code also but vodafone not approve my prot and not give permit to prot my number inspite they were calling any time and made me harrshment and disconnecting my connection without intimation i paid all dues and bill payment still vodafone provider not proting my number into Airtel
                              So I request you please ask them to stop my harshment port my number as early as possible
                              I am diabetic and hert patient so I need my mobile in network condition

                                It gives me huge pain to write at this forum about the unforgettable and its really disappointed with the series of events happened with my wife when she visited one of your Vodafone store to get the new SIM on behalf me due to unavailability of vodafone store at my current location (Cherrapunji, Meghalaya) at Howrah Maidan, Howrah 711101.

                                As per my discussion with vodafone corporate care team, I did exactly what was told to me and sent the NOC letter along with all other documents to be specific to the documents My Aadhar Card, My Wife's Aadhar Card, FIR copy of the lost Phone & SIM card, our marriage certificate and a copy of the mail received from vodafone corporate team but what exactly happened at Vodafone store can be even seen in CCTV camera of that store too. I'm writing the zest of it below-

                                1. After submitting the documents at the store, it was again refused and when my wife argued on the basis of the mail, she got very rude treatment and were answered he can't give SIM and she has to go to Bangalore to get the SIM

                                2. After asking for refusal in written, it was also denied

                                3. when my wife took me over the phone and let me speak to Debasish (if I'm not mistaken), I explained him about our conversation and tried to convince him but he did not listen to me too. I asked my wife to leave. I even said how come one has to go to Bengaluru just to get a SIM and its not even told by Corporate care team whereas I had explained that my wife can get it in Kolkata/Howrah whichever is nearby to her and it was never told to me that one has to go to Bengaluru to get the SIM.
                                Just to add on, when requested for getting the SIM delivered at my wife's place, I had mentioned the address of Howrah only, Then how come someone can deny giving SIM of another circle...???

                                4. After all, these when my wife told that she will make a complaint against him and asked for his card, as usual, he denied (No wonder, after all his arrogance and behavior how can someone give his card)

                                5. When wanted to take the token, he did not let that happen too (really..?)

                                6. When she wanted to take his photograph, he snatched mobile from my wife's hand (How come this person has even been allowed to work with Vodafone..??)

                                  Dear vodafone,

                                  This is probably my 1000th email to vodafone in regard to the deactivation of the sim (No. [protected]).

                                  I am currently studying abroad and so i haven't used the sim in 5 months. My family members have made repeated attempts to deactivate the sim, and so have i, through email as i am not in india.

                                  I have been forced to pay the due bills which are coming for last 5 months (After multiple deactivation requests). I was assured by mr. Hitender sharma (Vodafone representative) that once i pay the due bill and send him my photo id along with the receipt my sim will be deactivated and so i did. My sim was never deactivated and i have received another bill. I will not be paying this bill under any circumstances.

                                  My family members have been repeatedly harassed by vodafone representatives on phone calls and vodafone stores, including abusive language being used with my father. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have also been given threats of legal notices.

                                  After 5 months of struggle and repeated requests, this is my final attempt to get the sim deactivated. I am humbly requesting you to please get my sim deactivated.

                                    I have been waiting for more than 24 hours when i call up for 4 times to executive in 2 days i got below responses. Recharge with rc35 yesterday

                                    1 st executive on 24th jan - wait for 30 minutes sir out going will be activated
                                    2nd executive on 24th jan wait for 30 minutes sir out going will be activated
                                    3rd executive on 24th jan wait for 2 hours sir out going will be activated
                                    4th executive on 25th jan again the executive is asking for wait for 30 minutes to just get the outgoing activiated?
                                    I dont understand why waiting time is soo high?

                                    Kindly resolve this at the earliest.

                                      Hi,
                                      I Have been using my Vodafone number past 9 years but due to unavoidable circumstances I was not using my number from last few months. I had used my number last was in the month of Oct-2018. Then in Jan-2019, I decided to use number regularly and I realized that there was no service on my phone. I immediately called Vodafone customer care and told them about the issue. They told me that its if Once the number has been out back in the pool and assigned to someone else, you cannot get the number assigned to you again. I conveyed to them that I have that number past 9 years so that I want my number back. They did not have answer to it.
                                      I went to Vodafone store and told the issue to the executive. But He told the same things if the number is not active for 3-4 months it will be recycled.
                                      Then I tried calling that number to check who has been allotted with my number. The number has been already allotted to someone else. So, I would want my number back and I am ready to submit all documents.

                                      I am really disappointed with Vodafone for this as they did not bother to intimate me even through mail. Just to get new customers they cannot just ignore existing customers. I have all my banks connected to me through my Vodafone number. Even my bank statements go to that number. And also, I have some professional connection connected only through that number. Please help me to get my number back.

                                        Subject: To Port Vodafone Mobile number [protected] from Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle as well Change in Account Name from Wockhardt Corporate Account to My personal account.

                                        I am using Vodafone Number [protected] (Mumbai Circle) since decade.
                                        In November 2016, I shifted to Aurangabad from Mumbai and same Vodafone number ([protected]) converted into Corporate account (Wockhardt Corporate Account) from my personal account. As Wockhardt Admin Personnel said, Wockhardt will provide NOC (No Objection Certificate) when I will leave the Wockhardt organization.

                                        In December 2018, I have resigned from Wockhardt Ltd (Aurangabad, Maharashtra) and shifted to Mumbai.
                                        So, I have requested to Wockhardt Admin personnel to provide me NOC for Change in Account of Vodafone Number ([protected]) from Wockhardt to my Personal Account and Port from Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle.
                                        Wockhardt Admin Personnel has given me all the required documents for change in account name (From Wockhardt to Personal account) as well as port in Maharashtra Circle to Mumbai Circle as mentioned by the Vodafone Executive. All the required documents I have submitted to Nearest Vodafone stores (Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai Vodafone Stores) on 31st 2018.

                                        Vodafone rejected my Port request on 10th January 2019. When I inquired from Vodafone customer care then they said Authorized Person name is not matching with as per their current list, as the admin person was also left the Wockhardt.
                                        Then I asked the available authorized person from Wockhardt to provide me NOC and they provided. I have submitted the fresh NOC as per the requirement from Vodafone to nearest Vodafone Stores after their request on 14th January 2019.

                                        Vodafone Executive has verified all the submitted documents as sent me a mail, that
                                        "All required Documents are received from your side and there is nothing is Pending from your side, we will complete your request latest by 22nd January 2019”.

                                        In 23rd January 2019, when I followed-up with the Vodafone executive for my request, then they were telling me that it is still under process. I am following with Vodafone since one month and Vodafone executives are not communicating me about problem for process. They are just delaying my request.

                                        Now I am very much dis-appointed from Vodafone Service. Please do the needful.

                                        If more information required from my side then please let me know. I have copy of all the required documents and mail communication from Vodafone. I am not able to attach the email communication held with Vodafone. As there is no Provision for PDF attachment, option is only available for Photo and Video not for Document or PDF.

                                        A fresh Application has been given for my mobile number [protected] to Jio Communication for Porting (from Vodafone to Jio). Jio Communication has accepted my request but Vodafone has rejected my application, stating that Authorized Person Name is mismatching. I have mailed them that "I have received this letter from the Authorized Person Only, if you want you can validate the same". But Vodafone is not doing the same, they just rejecting my application again and again.

                                        please note that, there is nothing id due from my side, I don't know why Vodafone is not accepting my request and they are just talking on phone and not writing on E-mail clearly.

                                        One more issue, whenever I am mailing to Vodafone, always new person is talking who is dealing like new issue only. Literally I am fedup with Vodafone now.
