BLACK LOWER SHOL RUBBED (RUBBER IS POOR QUALITY) WITHOUT MUCH USE. SHOP KEEPER NOT COOPERATING FOR EXCHANGE OF SHOES. ON 23.09.12 TRYING TO REPAIR ONLY. SHOES ARE TAKEN BY SHOP KEEPER AND SLIP NO 13 DATED 23.09.2012 ISSUED FOR REPAIR UNDER- WITHIN WARRANTY AND GOOD CONDITION FOR ARTICLE NO GC-1085111 SIZE 42 BLACK AND CALLED TO PRODUCE THE COPY OF CREDIT CARD BILL. AS THERE IS MANUFACTURING DEFECT OF THREAD USED REPAIR OF SMALL PART WILL NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. IT WILL BREAK OPEN AT ALL THE PLACES AGAIN AND AGAIN.
RIGHT LEG SHOE STITCH OPENED NEAR HEEL AND ROAD WATER GOES INSIDE NEAR SMALL FINGER.

    Dear Sir,

    I brought a pair of shoes from your woodland showroom (Aru Plaza,582,MG Road , Indore) ,which bears a number : AC[protected]. I was surprised to note that, leather of right shoe got teared without any reason. So, I tried to contact above showroom but same was closed/changed therefore I inclined to contact your woodland show at Indraprath tower, Indore & they rudely refuse to listen my grievance & misguide me that your shoe could not be repaired at woodland showroom. They have also directed me to talk to other official of woodland representative at Treasure Island mall Indore but he also failed to solve the problem.

    As the company claims that , product made by them is world class & high quality control as well as stiff measures were adopted to check any defects in shoe,then how my shoe got teared without any reason.

    You are requested to please look into the matter & arrange for exchange /repair the shoe & solve the problem as soon as possible.

    Woodland Shoes — A small cut in woodland shoe

    Hi,

    I bought woodland shoe in September 2010. One week later, I found a small cut in the front side (upper part of the foot first finger) of the shoe, which was due to left over adhesive (gum) on the shoe, and that part had become hard and later had a small crack or cut which was hardly visible. After a month o[censored]sage, the cut became significant. I complained to woodland and they told me that no replacement would be given but only 70% of the amount would be given. Please tell me what to do?

      sir
      i am Abhijeet Gurav from sangli district..
      i purchasaed woodland shoe of 3295 RS.
      model number GB 0433107 green 40 footwear (leather).purchased from woodland showroom at sangli at ram mandir road near pushkaraj chouk.
      that shoe having tongue problem and need to replace.
      at the time of purchaing that shopkeeper told me that if you will have any problem within 6 months then we will surely replace your footwear.
      but when i went to that woodland showroom that shopkeeper was telling the foolish reasons and said we can't do anything and we can't help you in that.
      but i forced them for replacing my shoe then they kept my shoe there and after few days they called me and told me that it will take 25 days to repair.
      what should i do sir.
      3295/- is not less amount.
      and i will surely go to consumer court for to file a complaint for my issue.
      help me if possible.
      otherwise i have to chose another way for this.

        I purchased a woodland shoe on November 2011 for Rs 2, 600 from the Link in road, Mumbai. Haveing barely used it for a week the sole started wearing off on the sides. I gave the shoe for pasting near Shivranjani Ahmedabad. It took them two weeks to paste the shoe. It wasnt the time that shocked me but the manner in which it was pasted.

        I have now received the shoe but after pasting there are scrape marks and the work is extremely shabby. It is shocking to note that a company like Woodland can provide such a product and was further suprised to see the kind of aftersale service that was provided. One look at the shoe and looks like it has been used for a year!!

            I placed an online order on the official online site of woodland on 23 Aug 2012, for Qty 1 of Men's Boot(GB 0591108A) Size 44. The payment of Rs 2167.00 all incl was made by Credit Card the very same day. Their site does not have a provision to trace the order, and calls to help line Nos [protected] was of no help as I was directed to helpline No [protected], which has not been responding at all as it keeps you in a loop with no assistance at all.I was ultimately directed to a tele No [protected]. I have been now informed that the order has been despatched on 01 Sep 2012. When queried for details I have been informed that a bulk mail giving despatch particulars will be soon sent out, and that I should be expecting delivery by 05 Sep 2012. I have not got an a mail indicating the despatch details despite sending an email yesterday to [protected]@woodlandworldwide.com. The experience has been unnerving to state the least. It has still left me with a lot of questions unanswered

                Sub: Complaint regarding undue stretching of shoe purchased from you.

                Sir,

                I purchased a pair of shoes from your above outlet on January 21, 2012 (copy of invoice and charge slip is attached).

                At the time of purchase the sales assistant had med try several shoes and I selected the one that was just comfortable. There were a spot or two which seemed tight, but the assistant assured me that this would be okay once I had worn the shoe a week or two. And indeed it did -I was happy with the comfortable pair of shoes I had purchased from you.

                Unfortunately, the stretching of the shoe continued slowly till it is now at a point that I can effortlessly insert my finger between my foot and the rear of the shoe – with space to spare! I took it to the store from which I made the purchase expecting to find a solution – the obvious one being to insert an ‘insole’.

                Regrettably, the attitude of the sales people at the store convinced me that I HAD NO NEED TO ACCEPT A SUB STANDARD PRODUCT – a shoe that stretches to a point of becoming uncomfortably loose.

                While I do not wish to detail the interaction, I can only say that your sales people (especially the person in charge) need to appreciate that no customer would intentionally buy a loose shoe and no customer would accept their theory that shoes continue to stretch – as if customers buy the only pair of shoes they own in their lifetime from WOODLANDS.

                The intention is not to jeopardise the career of any young man but to suggest that THE COMPNAY needs to counsel its personnel and those associated with it, to interact with customers respecting their knowledge, experience and intelligence.

                Please take immediate steps to resolve this problem – and I have said above I AM NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT AN ‘INSOLE’ AS A SOLUTION. I will await your response.

                  The Sandal Soles have collapsed and are thus not providing the proper support and cushioning . This is just after 4-5 months o[censored]se .When I went to the showroom they told me that there is a Guarantee on the stitching and not on the Sole .                     Hi,
                    I bought a pair of shoes with article number <GC 094105> embedded on shoe from Woodland showroom, DT city centre mall mgf road but they charged me for <GC 094105 A> which is 500 rs more than my shoe's MRP. i came to know about this when my friend bought same shoe(same size,color and material) with same article number embedded on it. i feel cheated after this. When i contacted showroom manager then he responded woodland does not embed 'A' character on shoe with this article number.
                    If showroom manager is right then Woodland is cheating their customer otherwise manager of the showroom.

                      I have purchased a pair of woodland shoes(4c 232108) in december 2011 from sarojini nagar store,delhi. soe how in MAY 2012 its stiching got removed from left side of right shoe.i have intimated the store at rajori garden city squre mall shop on 12.06.12 repair slip no.61.
                      After so much follow-ups the store told me that the shoe is not repairable, then i produced my invoice As the shoes were only 6 months old & how could it be possible that they were unrepairable.
                      after so many complaints at delhi customer care their attitude is also so unprofessional they always give me hoax commitments & never gave me any senior officials no.
                      plz tell what can i do now.
                      also tell me the procedure to file a law suit .as all my insult ,wastage of time & wastage of money is accountable.

                      with such huge brand name they were just supplying low grade material .this is my first experience with woodland & its the worst for any thing.

                        Please see below my email which I have been writting to Woodland regarding to replace a pair of shoe which had manufacturing defect. But, they don seem to pay any attention to my complaint. They didn't give any response to me email except contacting concerned store. Well, after having kept patience when I visited concerned store they handed over same pair to me saying we can't do anything to it. Upon further inquiry, they said better you go to conumer court but we can't help you anymore.I bought the shoe on 4th July and just wore twice and my shoe is under gaurantee but they denied to help. They just took down the complaint but didnt do anything. When I had given calls to their so called customer care they didnt address my querry,


                        It is benevolently requested to look into this matter of great concern. Otherwise, these manufacturers will keep playing with innocent customers like this. I am one of their loyal customer attached are the bills of this year purchase. I am wonderuing how they would be treating customers who are not their regular purchasers.


                        Please help since you are my last hope left who can get me justice. Thanks!!!

                        I enjoy making bulk purchase from woodland throughout the years from ages now. The most trustworthy brand I can ever see.

                        Every year I make a purchase of 30-35K or above and also, I promote estemeed Woodland to those who don't use it. Well, on 4th of July 2012 around 8pm I bought one Woodland shoe for INR 1955/- only. To my bad dismay, the product lost it's shape on the very second occassion of wearing only. However, I made a complaint against it to Rajouri Garden store and they happily accepted my complaint to repair the same peace. But my question is why are they getting this faulty peace repaired rather than replacing it with new one since I just wore that peace twice and defect came out. I would have not claimed a replacement had I used that peace for 5-6months.


                        Attached is my complaint letter and bills since my purchases since Jan 2012. The list of bills could be much higher unfortunately I have lost saveral due to shifting to a new accomodation. Also, I am not attaching bills of my precedeeing years purchases,


                        It is benevolently requested to pay some attention towards to the customers who are loyal to you. Otherwise, loyal people will start loosing interest towards.

                        I purchased WOODLAND shoe shop ID No.7547 on 20/04/2008 from
                        M/s GEMINI, C-19 Desai Building, Manpada Road, Dombivali (East), Thane-421201 against cash memo no.7440 for Rs.2595.After a month passed sole coming out from left shoe & requested to the shop -keeper regarding replacement of shoe. But he refused to replace and said once sold the item it can be repaired only for manufacturing defects within the guarantee period for 60 days not to be replaced. After repasting I used for almost 20/25 days, again found the same problem.
                        Where as you are saying “Woodland is quality every where.The soles, laces, lather, insoles, stiching, everything is done under strict quality conditions” then why these things are happening. And I am paying more than other reputed companies and facing the same problem twice from you, it will loose customers” TRUST “on you & “Reputation” of the company.

                        i purchased a pair of sandle from woodland showroom, they were not comfortable, i told my problem to woodland people in jalandhar they got it repaired, after that sandle pair was even more uncomfortable. then they said that they are sending the pair to delhi headoffice and you could buy something else instead of this pair after 15 days and now after almost a month they are saying that nothing can be done and you have take back the same pair of sandles. thats not a professional approach, i hope you can do somthing in this regard.                         On 06/12/2010 I had purchase a new Shoes,along with Green spray police n a daily cleaner brush,after 2 week from the date of purchase i had found the front part(black leather)had got shiney n faade,emidatley i reported to people at show room,i hv got to knw tht it due to my mistake n as i would hiten shoes with any object...........so tht day i got back,den after 4 days i found the same thing in booth of the pair...........den soon i reported at woodland show room n den manager replyed me tht it ws due to applying another chemical on the both pair........den i leaved all the item at shop with CMN-O7039,al d item costed me Rs 4k buks,now wat to do.....i dont knw ,please reply me with d solution.
                        Sir, I had purchase a woodland shoe pair of 8 number, on dated 25/11/2012 wide receipt number 10565 model number RIG 777A ASSR (FOOTWEAR LEATHER) from Woodland Store - M/s Aero Club, G-50/1, Abul fazal Enclave-II, Kalindi Kunj Market Jasola, New Delhi. After use around for 10-15 days I observed, it is very tight (I had talk about it store manager he say it will have loose after some time, but not) so I given it to repair/expand wide repair ID 575 and I found the same on 23/01/2013 but the shoes is even now tight. I again 2nd time go to woodland store on 25/01/2013 to expand and now ID number is 621 and I found it on dated 10/02/2013 but the shoes is even now tight. finally, I observe that the left side foot shoe is of 7 number. I had measured from bottom to bottom and found it is really small then right side. due to this in my left leg have pain, I can not get into my leg for long time. this is mistake from woodland sight. I again go 3rd time for change/replace it but no response. So, please replace it as soon as possible and instruct / order to mentioned store manager for the same.

                        Woodland the worst shoe brand I had ever seen. I have purchased Woodland shoe model-M[protected] on 31/01/15 from Patna central mall. But only 3 month passed my right leg shoe got discoloured. I went to the central mall Patna from where I had purchased it but there they have taken no response from me.. They told me that it&#039;s a manufacturing defect we can&#039;t do anything... So plz if anyone can help me regarding to my problem then plz help... I don&#039;t know what to do

                          I Mr. Arpeet Dey went to give my Woodland Sandal for repairing on 6th July 2012. The sale representative checked the condition of my sandal which is of green colour and made a receipt for the same and informed me that the sandal will be repaired and will become as good as new and I will be charged 250 Rs. and the sandal will be ready by 4-5 working days. On 11th July 2012 I called up the store and enquired about my sandal, they replied that its still not ready and it will be ready by tomorow. Then everyday I kept on calling the store and everyday they kept saying the same thing that its not being ready. Then finally on 16th july 2012 I visited the store to check for the progress of my sandal and I got the shock of my life. The sale representative brought my repaired sandal but the base of the sandal changed to Light brown colour and the top remained the same to green colour. When I Complained about this the store manager said that these is the colour which they always use for repairing. I protested that I wasnt informed about it when i had given my sandal for repairing and how am I suppose to wear this dual colour sandal. The manager then calmed me and said that they will do the needfull and change the colour back to green and give me my sandal on 20th July 2012. But today is 21st July 2012 and I havnt received any call from the store.
                          Please save me from the ordeal and stress and get me back my sandal as it was before.

                          WOODLAND — Poor Service

                          have purchased a sandal on 4.1.2008 from Patna (Dakbunglow), Franchisee: Aero Club(Woodland), Shop No.2, Kashi Palace, New Dakbanglow Road, Patna having article no.( GS4048 manufactured by Aero Club, Dehradoon and marketed by Aero Club, Delhi-5 mfg in May 08), the MRP is Rs.1595/- as mentioned on the box but the franchisee charged me Rs.1995/-. The discount amount is Rs.600/- and the amount paid by me is Rs.1395/-.This discount should be on Rs.1595/-.
                          The moment I saw this gaffe, I talked to the seller on phone no.[protected] but they said that the price mentioned on the box is wrong which I find difficult to digest.

                          Woodland Sandals — One shoe each torn off

                          I have purchased two pairs of Sandal 4016 -K and green color shoes. The sole and outer cover is still good. But the side of the shoe stiching with sole alone torn off. This is a typical manufacturing problem. You have to compensate me for the damges caused to me.

                          WOODLAND — Unsatisfactory service

                          I bought a shoe from Woodland worth Rs. 2020. After almost a month the buckle of the shoe broke. So when I went to the shop with my shoe on 04/09/2010, they promised me to fix the problem within 5 days and my repair slip no. 47. But after that it's been more than 2 months, each time I went they are saying it'll take a few more days and finally now saying that it's not possible for them to fix the problem. So I am left with the shoe which worth nothing. Whenever I am calling them they are saying the shoe is in their shop but on my arrival they are simply saying they are not aware of it who received my call and it'll take some more days. Simply they are lying to me all the time and not repairing my shoe. So please take care of this. The details of the shop is as follows:

                            Dear woodland team
                            I purchased a woodland belt BT257 from AERO CLUB Woodland Store,
                            Shop no 6, ground floor,
                            Triton mall,
                            Kalwar Road,
                            Jhotwara Circle,
                            Jaipur (302012)

                            The person who sold belt promised 3 months replacement guarantee on all type of defects and damages including leather cut.
                            Only within 1 month of purchase and with occasional use the leather of the belt cracked.
                            I immediately reported the problem to shopkeeper (on 8/7/2012 with belt and original bill) who promised me to get it replaced in 10 days time.
                            Now after 10 days he called me and tell that it's a case of wear and tear and can't be replaced or repaired.
                            This impose a serious question on your product quality and company goodwill.
                            A belt is supposed to be used and not to be put down as show-piece so if its getting damaged in a month, that too with occasional use how come it is out of guarantee or what else is the guarantee on belt if wear and tear on use in 1 month is excluded from the same.
                            Well I'm in miffed mood but being loyal to company I want to know your reply before taking the case to consumer court
                            I'm a regular customer of woodland and await a sensible reply from you guys

We will request you to submit your product at any woodland store with the copy of your bill & reference of this mail. Decision of repair/replacement will be taken by expert after looking the condition of the product. It will take minimum 10 days for the assessment.

                            I did mention in my post that I have already given article along with original bill to woodland store

                            The point is that your expert replied that their is guarantee on leather cut but the wear and tear is due to usage

                            Great reply. I mean a belt is meant to be used or do you give guarantee on putting belt in showcase

                            My belt leather cracked in 1 month with occasional use then what the hell is guarantee for.

                            Look I,m not going to leave the matter so easily.
                            Either be accountable for what you sell and what you promise or get ready to face the music.

                            Store person guarantee me 3 month replacement and 1 year repair and its being only 1 month

                            This is a big question mark on quality of woodland

                              Dear Woodland Team,

                              I purchased a pair of woodland sandals(GD 1033111, TIN Number - [protected]S, LST/CST number.: [protected]C, SMC.: R0365, Bill number - 688) from AERO CLUB, WEST END MALL, VIBHUTI KHAND, GOMTI NAGAR, LUCKNOW, INDIA on 10.6.2012.

                              The buttons on the back side strip keep on coming off every 100 metres(adventurous??)
                              I am facing this problem since the very first day. I had sent an email about this to Woodland customer care on and on the basis of a reply from your end, I gave my sandals to AERO CLUB to rectify the problem on 23rd June 2012 (repair slip number - 30). During receiving them back on 6th July 2012 evening, I was assured by the AERO CLUB personnel that the problem has duly been rectified and that it will not occur again. Today, ie. on the 6th of July, 2012 – the day I have received them back, i am forced to write this letter out of frustration. Nothing has changed in these sandals. The back strip buttons keep on coming out every 100 metres and the only use they are being put to is simple walking. I shall be demanding too much if I expect to run with these sandals on. I had never expected this from a brand like woodland. Had this been some other third rung brand, I would have cursed myself instead.

                              Instead of delegating it to the franchisees, I would now request Woodland to intervene. If this is a case of product problem, Woodland must have experienced it with other customers also across India.

                              Kindly provide some permanent solution immediately instead of recalling the product again and again.

I buyed it on 15/04/2012 , now i am experiencing this problem of static electricity whenever i wear this shoes..... earlier i used to use lee cooper there was no problem... I even tried changing my socks but the problem persisits...

                                        Woodland do not entertain the customer after purchare - What a bad thing abour company

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have purchased shoes of Woodland (Article No. GC 124105 Khakhi 40) from Aero Club, 10/31, Inner Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001 near about 4 months back.

                                        Now 20 days back, the sole of the shoes was broken and when I have contacted to the shop at Aero Club, he told me that we can do resolling of the shoes. I have given the shoes and he gave me 15 days time for repair of the shoes.

                                        Now after 19 days after continuosly visit to the shop and after calling, the Aero club told me that sole of the shoes is not available and repair is not possible, we are returning you shoes.

                                        We have also discussed this matter to Mr. Bhushan at customer care and he did not reply me satisfactory and told me that repair is not possible and did not give me the contact no. of Area Store Manager. I have to takeup this matter to higer level that response of customer care of woodland is not proper.

                                        I am regular user of Woodland from last 10 years and it has good brand image. Now I am facing problem for repair of the shoes. I am feeling very bad about the company and also I am thinking to update the response of woodland on facebook/twitter or other public website so that every body should aware about the company.

                                        I request you to kindly repair or change my shoes on urgent basis.

                                        WOODLAND — Cracked Sole and Bad Repair

                                        Worn hardly 5-10 times ,not more than a year and half old ,the sole cracked up. Must see the pictures attached and one will think twice when buying a Woodland.

                                        Quality is just not meeting the standards .
                                        This was my second purchase ,one being many years back but probably thought this would be a better experience . Sadly it turned out to be most embarrasing when a friend pointed out that my sole had cracked up.

                                        The shoes were given for replacement of sole to Woodland exclusive store at Great India Place,Noida .As per commitment the shoes were also done up and sole was replaced for which 450 as charges levied.On seeing my shoe I was shocked.The pair had dark green spots all over it with fingerprints and the shop manager not only denied that it was their fault but was highly rude. Only when I raised my voice did they take it back and have indicated that they will try to clean it.Not sure though.
                                        I haven’t seen a more pathetic brand and customer service than woodland.If they don’t clean it up I plan to take them to consumer court anyway.
