Dear Woodland Team,

I purchased a pair of woodland sandals(GD 1033111, TIN Number - [protected]S, LST/CST number.: [protected]C, SMC.: R0365, Bill number - 688) from AERO CLUB, WEST END MALL, VIBHUTI KHAND, GOMTI NAGAR, LUCKNOW, INDIA on 10.6.2012.

The buttons on the back side strip keep on coming off every 100 metres(adventurous??)
I am facing this problem since the very first day. I had sent an email about this to Woodland customer care on and on the basis of a reply from your end, I gave my sandals to AERO CLUB to rectify the problem on 23rd June 2012 (repair slip number - 30). During receiving them back on 6th July 2012 evening, I was assured by the AERO CLUB personnel that the problem has duly been rectified and that it will not occur again. Today, ie. on the 6th of July, 2012 – the day I have received them back, i am forced to write this letter out of frustration. Nothing has changed in these sandals. The back strip buttons keep on coming out every 100 metres and the only use they are being put to is simple walking. I shall be demanding too much if I expect to run with these sandals on. I had never expected this from a brand like woodland. Had this been some other third rung brand, I would have cursed myself instead.

Instead of delegating it to the franchisees, I would now request Woodland to intervene. If this is a case of product problem, Woodland must have experienced it with other customers also across India.

Kindly provide some permanent solution immediately instead of recalling the product again and again.

    I had purchased one pair shoes from Chacha de hatti Parade Chowk Jamu on 14.03.12 which got worn out with in three months.It gives a shabby look.I went to the shop and he refused to change the shoe saying that there is no gurantee for shoes worn out.
    Kindly look into the matter and expedite exchange.

      Last week i buy woodland shoe from M.G road Cochin showroom, at the time of purchase i just check my size and freezed, next day i not able to wear more than half an hour, my left side shoe is too tight and i got wound on my finger...

      Yesterday i check with show room guy but they told me not possible to change but they offer some repair job in that....since its brand-new...

      pls help me out....

        On 02/06/2012 i brought new T-shirt of Woodland to give a surprise to my Fiance but to my surprise as soon as i worn the T-shirt and left for Delhi ,i saw that the T-shirt is Exposed notches &Pulled / loose yarn. It was first time that i brought Woodland T-shirt which was meant to be said MEANT FOR ROUGH AND TOUGH IMAGE.

          hello

          i have been using this woodland shoes article no- GC 0160106A ,Camel color. I buyed it on 15/04/2012 , now i am experiencing this problem of static electricity whenever i wear this shoes..... earlier i used to use lee cooper there was no problem... I even tried changing my socks but the problem persisits...

            Woodland do not entertain the customer after purchare - What a bad thing abour company

            Dear Sir,

            I have purchased shoes of Woodland (Article No. GC 124105 Khakhi 40) from Aero Club, 10/31, Inner Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001 near about 4 months back.

            Now 20 days back, the sole of the shoes was broken and when I have contacted to the shop at Aero Club, he told me that we can do resolling of the shoes. I have given the shoes and he gave me 15 days time for repair of the shoes.

            Now after 19 days after continuosly visit to the shop and after calling, the Aero club told me that sole of the shoes is not available and repair is not possible, we are returning you shoes.

            We have also discussed this matter to Mr. Bhushan at customer care and he did not reply me satisfactory and told me that repair is not possible and did not give me the contact no. of Area Store Manager. I have to takeup this matter to higer level that response of customer care of woodland is not proper.

            I am regular user of Woodland from last 10 years and it has good brand image. Now I am facing problem for repair of the shoes. I am feeling very bad about the company and also I am thinking to update the response of woodland on facebook/twitter or other public website so that every body should aware about the company.

            I request you to kindly repair or change my shoes on urgent basis.

            WOODLAND — Cracked Sole and Bad Repair

            Worn hardly 5-10 times ,not more than a year and half old ,the sole cracked up. Must see the pictures attached and one will think twice when buying a Woodland.

            Quality is just not meeting the standards .
            This was my second purchase ,one being many years back but probably thought this would be a better experience . Sadly it turned out to be most embarrasing when a friend pointed out that my sole had cracked up.

            PART II

            The shoes were given for replacement of sole to Woodland exclusive store at Great India Place,Noida .As per commitment the shoes were also done up and sole was replaced for which 450 as charges levied.On seeing my shoe I was shocked.The pair had dark green spots all over it with fingerprints and the shop manager not only denied that it was their fault but was highly rude. Only when I raised my voice did they take it back and have indicated that they will try to clean it.Not sure though.
            I haven’t seen a more pathetic brand and customer service than woodland.If they don’t clean it up I plan to take them to consumer court anyway.

              i bought one pair of sandle in feb 2012 from woodland shop at bhopal.this pair lost its shape and sole in two months o[censored]se.this looks to be a deffective pair. I requested for exchange but showroom is interested in repair. I am not willing to wear a deffective pair and expect free replacement from such a branded company. please help.

              Scandal — Sandals given for repair lost

              I have purchased a pair of sandals in April 2010 from Scandal store in Bandra West, Mumbai. After a week o[censored]se, there is wear and tear. I gave them for repair in May'2010. I called up thrice to confirm if my sandals are ready. As i did not get a proper response, i walked into the store twice to collect them but in vain. On my third visit to the store on June 18th 2010, i get a response that my sandals are in factory and they need to search for it. Today 1st July they call me to say they have misplaced my sandals.

              Are they going to pay me for the conveyance expenses i spend on doing up and down to the store thrice???? This is my 2nd worst experience with this store. The worst brand i have ever purchased. The first set i bought tore off in a day's use !!!!!!!

              Request you to kindly lodge a complaint regarding the same. I am ready to revisit the shop and get my sandals replaced but i need them to pay all the conveyance i spent on this worthless stuff and store.

                My name is “SOUGATA MITRA” working with “TOSHIBA INDIA” as “MANAGER –SALES”.



                I had purchased woodland shoes no: 52777 (khaki), from woodland store M/S: Aero Club, Shop No:-S-123,South City Mall,Kolkata-7000068 approximately 3-4 months ago

                But, within a week I found that the stitching of one shoe is getting off…and shoe is not in condition to wear any more….for same I had drawn the attention of the shop owner…and he had promised to made it repaired from woodland factory…as he has gave me the guarantee of one year in any case of damage he will repair it free of cost….



                After that I went to some my business trip, and after returning on 17/3/12 I gave it for repairing……now after 50 days….I made call of inquire to him and he has replied me that” my shoes are still not repaired and will still take more(not confirmed)days….

                Sir, can you justify this matter? Why my shoes are not repaired & delivered, though Woodland gives the guarantee of one year? Why my shoes are not returnable? Why I have to wait for so many days?

                I am the user of Woodland from last 6 years….I had use about 4 pairs of Woodland series….but I had never faced such problem…this time I am at fixt…but not getting proper response. Can you help me in this matter?

                  i have purchased a shoe from woodland store . shop no - 15-16 , cosmos mall, 2nd mile , sevoke road , siliguri - 5
                  ph- [protected] . on 9 th january 2012 . product detail - Gc 0501108 khaki 42 footwear leather . of rs- 1680.00.

                  But after using for a week the colour of shoe was changed and when i went to the store and complained of it then .he denied to change the product and guide me to use polish . i took the polish but the store was the same again i went after one month i said him that the product is almost decoloured then he started saying that time of change is over ,

                        SHOP NAME ---- AERO CLUB, BSK 3rd STAGE, BANGALORE 560085.

                        I purchased this sandals in the month of March, 2011. Since then, I am having the problem in the back strap, when you walk wearing it, it just flips down. When I asked the Store Manager, I was told that it would get adjusted as I use it for couple of weeks. After almost 1 month, as there was no improvement, I had given the sandals to repair it, they had almost taken a month to return but " NOTHING WAS DONE, IT REMAINED THE SAME".

                        After using the same for almost 20days, again I gave it for the service - 2nd Service - NOTHING WAS DONE. IT REMAINED THE SAME.

                        I was told to use the same for one month and it would get adjusted, did the same as per their words. I am really disappointed to tell you that there was no proper service given and in the 3rd service - NO ACTION HAD TAKEN, IT WAS JUST THE SAME AS IT WAS BOUGHT.

                        As this process almost went for 10 to 11 months, I am being told that it cannot be replaced as it is 10months old. But I need an explanation on the below queries.

                        * Why was a faulty piece given at the start?
                        * Why didn't the store manager gave a replacement at the start rather convinced customer to use it with the just service, despite knowing that the service/repair was not done?


                        Now its almost since 7 months, I have been liaising with the customer care and the store where I bought it, and I have not got the sandals back.

                        I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED THE WAY THIS ISSUE IS BEEN HANDLED. I AM BEING A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF WOODLANDS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE.

                        PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AS A PRIORITY AND DO THE NEEDFUL.

                          In dec 2011 i have buyd an shoes from woodland ....and used the shoes for 4 months .....but slowly and steadly th ecolour of shoes and inside leather of shoes started toring ......and after some day .....it tord completly.........went the showroom and tried to exchnage but he refuses to exchange it .....is this kind of service is provided i have buyed the shoes for 2800 rs ......this redicolous to use never belive on woodland ........

                          The above mentioned shoe was purchased on 17th Dec 2007 and its sole came off within a month. It was given to the shop for replacement on 11th Feb 2008. They said they will try to get it replaced. Finally after a month, I was told that the shoe has been repaired and as per company policy it cannot be replaced.

                          I asked them to look into the matter as it was a product of very bad quality with the sole coming off in just one month of regular use. They said that they wll talk to the company officials and I'll recieve a call next day about it from the company. That call has not come even after 2 months.

                          I think your company is cheating customers by selling inferior quality product at highly inflated prices. I have not been able to use the shoe since 15th Jan. Its more than 5 months now and the company is not even bothered.

                          I sincerely request you to do anyne of the following:

                          1. Refund my money
                          2. Replace the shoe with the same model,
                          3. Give me the option of chosing any other model

                          If this issue is not resolved by 31st May 2008, I'll be forced to lodge an official compalint with the local consmer court ti get my refund and also claim for damages.

                          1. I am a serving Army Officer presently posted at Agra Cantt.During one of my visits to Pune I had bought one of the woodland Shoes from your authorised showrooms on MG Road.

                          2. However, i have not even used it for more than one year, it has developed problem with regards to its leather from the toe of its left shoe has come out.

                          Hi sir,
                          I am ubendrakumar about my shoe color is camel, some once spread a ink on my shoe it possible to remove the Ink.Your retailer tell about the strain remover to remove the ink as possible.
                          I had purchased shoes from woodland around 20th dec. and within a week there were cracks on shoes and color was discharged from sholes which made quiet impossible to wear them.I had returned the shoe to the store,Paras downtown mall,Zirakpur to get them either replaced or return my money.Even after one month they repaired the shoe and still the shoe was not at all presentable.I have tried all customer care no but no one has helped.
                          Its disheartening that a brand like woodland where customer comes for quality is not promising one.I feel i have been cheated vd my money.My complain has been lodged two times as complain no 19 and 20 by the store manager.Please help as soon as possible.

                            I boOKed a consignment on 04th February 2012 through Skylark Express Pvt Ltd, From Surat to New Delhi . But till now (06April 2012), the consignment has not been delivered. When I called to their customer care on 17th Feb, they told that the packet will be delivered today. But till now the packet has not been delivered. Now when i call them, they do not receive the call from my number. Due to this, i am getting too much harassed both mentally and physically. I am visiting to their office form where the consignment was boOKed regularly from 6-7 days. They do not have any idea about the status of my consignment. They only tell that OK today your packet will be delivered. Then on next day, their reply are same. Now what should I do. How should i operate legally against them.

                                I have purchase woodland shoe on 10/Jan/2012 of woodland outlet situated in omex mall patiala. but soon i have problem from pair of shoes so m submit the pair of shoes of woodland showroom manager Sanjeev. they assures me company take the rite action aganist my problem, but i have not satisfied. i m using othe company shoes, i have no problem from other company till now. store manager & woodland customer care not take action against on my complaint till now.

                                So kindly solve my problem .

                                  I have purchased woodland shoes cost 2100 rs, after using just 6 months, its soul opened while i ask it to woodland showroom, they replied we can't help you, & they don't even able to repair shoes.
                                  i feel woodland misguiding the customers about quality, if they don't even have ability to repair they mustn't manufacture.
                                  shoes were in warranty period, though they are refusing to replace, till date shoes my 2100 costs shoes are lying at woodland showroom at shivranjani cross road, ahmedabad.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I had purchased ladies slipper from woodlands from a woodland showroom Aero Club at Kammanahalli. I used the slippers only for two days and the top layer started to peel off. I approached the showroom on 27/2/2012 and I also revisited them again after two weeks. But till date I have not received any information in this regard. The article number is LSJMD 1055 one 39. Kind of repair C.C.F. It is sad that a company regarded to be of high esteem shows this kind of negligence in redressal of complaints. Hope the needful will be done at the earliest.
