Yamaha FZ-X bike

I purchased the Yamaha FZX on September 2021. It's been the fifth time in a year, my bike is found to be not functional due to the same issue of the battery being down. Every time I have raised a complaint and approached the Zee motors showroom in Panaji.


The details of each complaints are given below.

This is regarding a complaint towards repairing my bike FZS (11/2020 model) @ Yamaha ESSM TEKNO Services P T LTD, Howrah . ( JOB CARD NO.- 80086)

Issue
Today on 1st of Sep 2022 while traveling suddenly heard a whistling noise and the bike stopped. Then I towed my bike to Technocon services.
They asked me to leave my bike and they will let me know the issue after sometime.. Since no one called me I have enquired in the evening and they told me that They need to change the Self motor and One more part which will cost around 5K without labour charges.. But I told them that why should I pay when warranty is there but they refused and said my 1st servicing was not done and it's not showing on portal so they can't help.

I have spoken to one of their senior and he asked me to send the Service book which I have shared and then he called me back and asked me to provide my Bill copy of 1st service which was done in Feb 2021...And also he told Even if I show them the bill it will take another 15 days to regularise and then they will start repairing.

My bike ran only 8000 KM. It's strange to have such issue with a bike from a highly reliable manufacturer.

It's my request to Yamaha team to take care of this issue and help me in getting repaired my bike in warranty as I have done all my servicing in Yamaha service centre only .

    Sir I bought Yamaha FZs V3 fro sk motors gwalior.Within 6 days left side plastic body (having FZs logo on it)got detached from its main parts .i contacted showroom sk motors they dismantle all parts but couldn't not set that..they told it's because of wire coming from wrong side inside handle. it is because of technician fault they told .but they can't able to fix it .

      At first the radiator fan worked well but later it's gone.I am not the only person to got this problem..almost in every version 4 and R15m variants are having this problem.we are spending more than 2 lakh on this bike as because yamaha is a brand and yamaha engines are raliable.Seems like the brand value of yamaha is going to be doomed.
      I want yamaha to take this issue as seriously..Fix those problems quickly.

            I'm here Raising a complaint Against Peral Yamaha(Tolichowki, Manikonda and Gachiboli).
            You can check my 4th service Record date which is[protected]. On that day I have actually booked service appointment in peral Yamaha Tolichowki Branch 1 day before. And I went on time to the service station but they declined my service as there was no no workers on that day. When I forced as I have taken appointment then they sent me to there one of the branch at manikonda same day. I went there and I have said the problems which I faced which is ABS light was not turning off. He mentioned me that there is no system to check tha abs problems or any technical problems and he said after the service complete the you cab visit our any branch and resolve it. As agreeing on that I went to Tolichowki branch. They said they don't have cable to check detect the problem and they sent me to Gachiboli and there I have booked the appointment and went. But even they declined taking of vehicle. And they said to come on another day. I agreed on that and I again went on Monday and I gave vehicle. They kept vehicle 5days and said that abs motor is not working. So, for that I placed warranty for that on[protected] on this date they mentioned to call after 7 days if the part recive they will give. But they placed order on[protected]. I don' know what they did on those days. Later he said wait some days. So, after 3 days again I asked him. He mentioned me that it will reach on Friday. And also I have raised the issue on call. They mentioned to call if they did not give the part on Friday. So, I have complained again through call on[protected]. He said they will contact me till 6:00PM. But they didn't called me.

            Really I am very disappointed with the vehicle.
            One of the service center person said me that if you don't trust then go where you trust(is he doing service or something?) When I said there is some bolts are missing in vehicle.
            Also they are saying that if you keep vehicle here someone will take some parts and we don't know what they are doing(is this not there responsibility for Loss ?)
            I am doing work from home since those days as the vehicle is not good. I need to go for office. How should I travell ? As I have purchased the vehicle to go office.

            Really I'm very upset and disappointed with the service and there freedom. They are doing what ever they wish to do.

            I lost 5000 till now just roaming 1 showroom to another. But problem is not solved.

              My r15 v3 bike which is 3 year old is facing issue with abs hydraulic unit failure and service centre are not trying to resolve it. My vehicle is under warranty period as i have taken yamaha protection plus which will cover about 5 years of warranty. But the service centres i visited are not trying to resolve it. And the periodic services i done is not correctly updated in the yamaha site from the service centre. Very irresponsible act from the service centre. The abs unit of bike cost about 18000rs and it is clearly defect of the product which yamaha provided. Because within just 3 year and 22500 km abs unit got damaged without any external fault. It cleary due to low quality of the product. It is yamaha brand responsibility to resolve and replace the faulty product.

                Hi Yamaha Motors,

                I bought Yamaha FZ-S bike 3 years back and drove for 7500KM.

                My front brake/ABS is not functioning. While purchase because of ABS only i choose FZS V3 over V2 and paid ~20K extra.
                And currently my bike is ~3years old and started giving the problem with ABS. Your service center team is saying ABS motor is not working and need to replace it with new which costs 15K.
                While purchase i bought extended warrenty for 5 years but service people said ABS is not covered under that.

                I am really dissapointed since i used my bike very less(7500KMs) still seeing these kind of issues with very basic breaking system.

                Since the usage of bike is very less Yamaha should bear this additional expense which is incurred due to faulty/poor quality of spare parts.

                I didn't expect this kind pathetic problem with renowned brand like Yamaha.
                My friend is using bike from other brand(which costed much less than mine with similar/better configuration) from ~7yeras and drove for 50000KMs without any issues.
                I was having lot of trust on Yamaha because of its sale and service. To support above statement you should correct your issue and sponsor the spare.

                  I recently bought Yamaha R15 V3 manufactured year 2019 ( engine number -G3K5E0045895, chassis number - ME1RG5219J0043623, kilometres driven - 16000). I have been driving my bike regularly and the service has been constantly made in CAG season motors coimbatore.

                  When I was driving for work on 23rd of July suddenly the vehicle turned off and was not starting, immediately I had taken the vehicle to the service centre i.e. season motors, coimbatore. They have diagnosed the vehicle and suspected that the clutch oring has been cut and have blocked the engine oil supply. I am surprised to hear this since the vehicle engine was not removed since there is no complaint history regarding the clutch and engine. The service team had estimated the cost to be around 30000 to
                  Rectify the complaint.

                    I gave my bike at the agency (Rudra Automobiles
                    279, Haridwar Road, opp. Degree College, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand-249201), one of your dealers, to repair my bike on 10th august.
                    And now it's the 26th of August today.

                    They are saying daily that it will take 7 days, or 10 days, and sometimes they don't even take the call. I am having many problems in my daily travels due to this delay. I need it as soon as possible.

                          Respected Sir/Madam
                          with due respect it is stated that i purchased a YAMAHA FZS V3 in June 2020 but in 2021 it engine starts consuming the engine oil. I report about it in yamaha authorized service centre but due to their non punching of service records online my bike goes out of warranty. After arguments they got ready to repair my bike. But after repair it start troubling like mileage drop and top speed is now limited to 102KMPH and mileage drop to 30-35KMPL but before repair it used to be 55KMPL. Every time when I report this to the service center they only check the spark plug of the bike and says the bike is ok. I am really fed up with all this. Kindly resolve my problem.

                              I have bought the Yamaha R15-M on the 16th of june from Avian Yamaha. Even before the first service the ABS AND TCS lights were on which means there was a fault in it, in the first month itself with the bike hardly traveling 300 kms. As i gave the bike for service i was charged for the oil, coolant, .. which i think was completely unnecessary and just a way to get money because it was a free service. Being an authorised centre they dont even have the right machinery for the bikes. Because of the ABS issue the engine light was on for the whole time after the first service and i was told that the rear ABS sensor has spoilt. How is that even possible that within 2 and a half months the sensor stops working when the bike was always kept at a safe place and under cover. Is this the quality that the company provides for its parts ? On asking the service centre if the sensor was under warranty, without even checking they refused and said i had to replace it with a new one for ₹1250 and on top of that the new sensor also wont come with a warranty. I had asked the owner to send a mail regarding the same and he was very hesitant to do it. Then he started the usual drama that he'll have to check it with the company and will revert. It's been 3 days since he told me this but i haven't got a call back. The service they provide is horrible. The moment i start riding the bike, god knows for some reason within the next 10 mins the engine light appears again. All the buttons have become so tight that it has become very irritating. The ignition switch also gets stuck, like for a new bike which has travelled only 600 kms in the 2 and a half months and has started giving such issues. Kindly revert and solve this issue as soon as possible or else take the bike back and give me my refund. I dont have time to go to the service centre every 2nd day for a negligence from your company's end.

                                Hi Team,

                                I visited your service centre on 27th july 2022 for general service . I asked for the drop up and they told me that we will drop up within 5kms then I said ok .They have informed us that we don't have the manpower, so you have to return our staff to the service centre, I said ok. I paid the bill online and they had given me the invoice through whatsapp . After a couple of minutes, Guy came with my bike. I asked him to give the bike key to me but he refused to give the key . Advisor and manager told him that he didn't pay the money so don't handover the bike key to him . I showed him all the evidence to him after a lot of conversation and misbehaviour, he locked my vehicle at the same place . Then they were trying to threaten me after I said that I will go to the police. Finally they handover the bike to me. Regarding the same I've lodged a complaint in the national consumer helpline with all those incidents that happened to me and the dealer and for your reference docket no is :3728778. service centre name is : SS agencies tiruchengode . I request you to take severe action on the service centre people .If not then I will go for the legal.

                                I wanted to bring to your attention that :
                                1.They don't have the proper equipment to deal with the cus problem.
                                2. No proper manpower and well trained technicians.

                                  The front disc brake of my FZ V3 FI was not working. I made a visit to this dealer situated at Mangaldoi, Ward No. 2, 784125. I had to wait for 6 hours from 11am to 5pm (approx). The impression I had was that they had no knowledge about how the front disc needs to be repaired. First, after a 2 hour long wait of inspection, they asked me to change the Major Kit and I agreed but unfortunately nothing was solved. Alsp, they filled DOT3 instead of DOT4 fluid in my braking system and when I asked them about this mistake, they tried to confuse me that this was done to clean the braking system. Later they did another inspection and told me that the ABS system is damaged and told me to order it which they told me was priced around Rs. 11, 600/-. I asked how that was possible since the ABS indicator was indicating according to Service Booklet. They had no answer to that and were instead manipulating me to believe the same. I resisted and didn't order and moved out of their service center after 6 hours of inefficient service and instead more problems with the brake. I do not have any invoice to prove the same as they didn't provide me one for the labour costs. Also, very cleverly they tried billing me even for the DOT3, unfortunately they failed. To my fortune later, a self employed mechanic outside of Yamaha helped me get the job done without changing the ABS controller within an hour. I am complaining about this late, because I wanted my bike to be repaired first and then get into this. Please do the needful at your end or employ some serious people. Most people around Mangaldoi do not go for Yamaha just because of this inefficient, painful servicing experience, has spread word of mouth. The mechanic was a nice guy though but two other guys were just involved in confusing and manipulating customers into ordering costly parts and consumables. They believe most o[censored]s are just fools around.

                                    Hello Yamaha,
                                    I'm Aakash Sharma from Agra, U.P. I purchased a bike Yamaha FZS V3 BS6 - Model 2020 in the year 2020.

                                    Recently, I'm facing some bike issues like the bike not starting, engine trouble light not disappearing. I have given my bike to the Yamaha service centre to the below-mentioned details -

                                    Service Center name - J.M Motors Pvt. Ltd. Address - Maharana Pratap Nagar, Bypass Road, Agra.

                                    I had given my bike to the service centre dated 2/8/22 and since then the bike is under servicing. The service centre person claims that the throttle body is the major fault within the bike and this part can only be replaced when the service centre will receive any other bike with the same model as mine i.e. Yamaha FZS V3 BS6 - Model 2020. It has been 12 days now and I'm suffering due to it till today.

                                    Earlier to this, the service person has changed the ECU but as per them, the throttle body is the major issue. The service centre is not even placing the order for the new part.

                                    Kindly address the concern here as it is hampering my professional work routine.
