We booked trip from u to srilanka.. Booking reference number is yh3545025. It was between 18 th of august to 23 rd.. On 4 the day of our trip we found our one of suitcase missing in travel from our vehicle.. We asked the driver... After reaching home... We complained... But no response...
Valuables & new clothes r in that suitcase... Please take action & reply..
It's already one week over..
The driver name is hemanta.. From apple tours.. His phone no.[protected].

    Booked ticket for sep-2-2017 for 4 paxs unfortunately my travel plan was postponed. When i tried reaching yatra for rescheduling my tickets they simply added all the unnecessary fees & doubled the amount for rescheduling. So i finally decided to cancel my tickets for which yatra is ready to pay rs.0/- (Zero) against my cancellation. When i asked is this is fair they simply answer saying that those were airline charges. However i reached airlines for cancellation they were ready to refund 2870/- from their side but yatra had levied some unnecessary charges & made it rs.0/- (Zero).

    What a wonderful platform yatra had choose for business by targeting the airline customers.

    I request the concern authorities to look into this kind of online frauds & regulate them.

    I still have got the time to cancel the tickets . So i can give 2 options either cancel the tickets with best refund amount or reschedule the tickets by changing the names in the tickets.

    Dear yatra team,
    That is what I'm trying to explain, is it fair enough for you guys to refund rs.0/- for cancelling rs.10781 tickets.. thought the airlines are refunding 2780/- after my conversation with the team but you people deduct that amount & giving nothing .

    However this was the first time I used yatra for booking flight tickets but you guys have a great memorable experience for first time user. Great going guys.

    If you guys really consider a customer grievance then you could at least try to make a customer happy by providing the best possible refund amount at least to e-wallet or in form of coupons.

    Still awaiting for possible solution from Yatra team.

    We would want to inform you that cancellation charges are applicable as per airline ticket rules. On reference[protected] cancellation charges are INR 1522.00 + INR 400 Yatra service fee. Charges would be applicable per passenger per sector and promotional discount INR 220.00 is non refundable your refund would be INR 848.00. Cancellation can be done 12hrs prior to departure from Yatra end. Do feel free to contact us on [protected] for any further assistance required.

We immediately cancelled the booking due to change in travel plan. But till now we have not refund in our account. Tried yatra customer calls they are confirming that it has been deposited but unable to send the reference number.

        I along with my wife and kids was visiting my extended family in india and wanted to go for a week long vacation to goa and near by pilgrimage centers (Gokarna, murudeshwar, sringeri, udupi). We made the assumption that this would involve extensive planning and availing the help of a travel agent would be the most pragmatic option. A local travel agent acted as a liaison to yatra.com and helped us craft a package. Little did we know that this was an exceptionally poor decision that would cost (From comfort, cost and safety perspective) us dearly.

        Here are the details of our nightmare (Booking ref yh3554828):

        1. We flew from hyd to mangalore on day 1. On the very first day of the vacation, the driver refused to follow the itinerary and take us to sringeri. While the reason he cited was that it was far away for a day trip, the real reason was that he was tired as he drove nearly 250km to get to mangalore airport. I complained to the transportation contact as well as yatra and this process took nearly hour and a half.in the end, i gave up.

        2. The vehicle provided to us was dilapidated with a seat regularly becoming unhinged and falling on to the floor (Image attached). A/c was functioning at a bare minimum level.

        3. On day 3, our nightmare got much worse. We reached gokarna for the night and the driver (Assigned by yatra) did not know how to get to gokarna international beach resort (Booked by yatra). I spent the next hour mediating between the driver and the hotel staff. The hotel staff informed us that the hotel is inaccessible by car and that all 9 o[censored]s (Included 2 senior citizens 87 and 71 yrs old as well as a 5 yr old kid) need to walk at least 1km with our luggage to reach the hotel. They advised us that they booked rooms in another hotel for us. We declined their offer and asked them for route guidance to the driver. Over the next 30 mins, the driver took us through a winding, hilly road (At times jeopardizing our safety) as the directions were intentionally bad. After everyone in our party was enervated and fearful, we gave up and went to the other hotel, the hotel staff recommended. We very quickly realized that it was a low cost budget motel (Images attached) and spoke to yatra and gokarna international resort to accommodate us there. This hotel had cobwebs, old, worn structures and bedsheets with stains. Neither parties helped us a bit. The cost between the hotel rates was significant and we have not received a refund in the difference of fares so far. A day later, we realized that the beach resort was full before we got there and they downgraded us to a low cost motel and didn't give the driver proper directions to get there precisely they didn't have any rooms for us.

        4. Once we reached goa for our 2 day stay there, we were originally informed that we would visit north goa on day 1 and south goa on day 2. However, during the middle of day 1, we were abruptly informed that we were to visit north and south goa on day 1 and that there was no sight seeing on day 2. This did not make any sense to me as our check out of the hotel on day 2 was at 11 am and our flight back to hyd was at 11pm! I called yatra numerous times and got no support at all. The only agent i spoke to advised to 'manage the situation' on our own. Eventually, i called up the drivers myself and offered them the daily rate for the vehicle for day 2.

        Overall, we had a terrible experience with yatra.com. The cost charged was exorbitant relative to the transportation and hotels provided. Effectively, we were charged the price of 4 star, 5 star hotels and were provided 1 or 2 star ones. Barring one agent, the rest of the customer service was callous and unresponsive. More importantly, there were constant problems, surprises and issues that made it difficult to enjoy our vacation. If we had indeed planned and booked our own reservations, it would have cost 40% less and we would have direct access to the transportation company, hotels etc. Yatra as an intermediary added no value and in fact reduced our influence. And we would have avoided the stress and tribulations we encountered during this trip. The drivers indeed attested to us the fact that only first time vacationers go with yatra and they never repeat this mistake again.

        I would never, ever advise any vacationer to ever fall for yatra's marketing pitch given my exceptionally terrible experience.

            Dear yatra service... My name is kaja. I was reserved my train tickets on 8 aug 2017 for sivakasi to chennai egmore booking through 2 times. Then the ticket was cancelled. I received sms. Because i had booked through two time. But unfortunatly those bookings are cancelled. But till to date i have not receive the refund amount rs.1834/-.               Last year i booked a ticket in yatra.com but because of wrong date i cancelled that. After cancellation they added rs. 250/- in e-cash and the rest in cash. I wrote about that in consumer forum and to my surprise they deducted even that rs 250/- e-cash from my account within 15 days.in their website it is written that yatra e-cash earned through cancellation refunds do not have any expiry date, then how do they cancelled the amount in 15 days. This is total fraud. I have added the screenshot for your reference.

              Would like to share with you that amount paid using your Bank account and incase of cancellation if you choose refund to be processed in your Yatra amount will not expire.

              While confirming a booking if you have paid using your promotional ecash, that ecash will be refunded in the same mode and will remain promotional ecash only. T&Cs will be applicable on this.

                I booked two tickets from kumbakonam to chennai on 08-august-2017 11:40pm. Amount got deducted from my account. Transaction id:
                P1708082342187260425933. But transaction failed while conforming the ticket.

                Regarding this i have given a call to the customer care and they told your refund has been initiated will communicate the reference number soon via email.

                I got an email also with reference number. Later on the next day i got an email saying that we fail to process your refund kindly send me your bank details along with your cancelled cheque.

                I sent those details but i failed to send the cancelled cheque. Because cheque book is there in my native place that is around 250 km away from chennai.

                Instead i sent them my latest bank statement. But they refused to process the refund with bank statement. To get cancelled cheque i have to travel 250km and spend around 1000rs.

                I really don't know why they require cancelled cheque for processing refund.

                  Tried to book ticket from mutajapur to cst mumbai on wed, 26 jul 2017 with reference id[protected] for my brother akshay thorat and 2 more members.1099 rs got deducted but havent received a refund yet.                     Dear Sir/Madam,
                    I booked domestic flight tickets through yatra.com. I was planned to book from hyderabad to tirupati and then the return journey from tirupati to hyderabad.
                    I ended up booking two tickets on 8th september and 11th september from tirupathi to Hyderabad.
                    Booking Ref Numbers:

                    I used the onward booking webpage which didnt book from hyderabad to titupathi and ended up booking from tirupathi to hyderabad twice.

                    When contacted within minutes of booking, there response is not good and they were saying to cancel it and book as they cannot do anything and they show no accountability or responsibility.
                    They were saying they have no control either to cancel/modify/change and only replying you paid i, so you bear the result.

                    I dont think this is acceptable in any business and they cannot deny any assistance .
                    Kindly look in to the issue and request them to refund the amount Rs.11, 075/-

                      I was charged rs.50549/- (On 11.08.2017) for an international booking which is still priced at rs.43000/- (On 14.08.2017) booking reference number[protected]...                         I have paid for the ticket through Yatra.com online, for Doha-Delhi-Hyderabad to travel on 30th August and return on 3rd Sept 2017 Hyderabad-Bombay-Doha. The money have been debited to our card account, but the ticket has not been issued. Upon contacting yatra.com customer service they sat the system is down sometimes, and sometimes they are telling its Sunday today that is why they cannot check their account. They have given the reference number[protected], I am bit tensed now, as to how and when I will get my money back, because this was my only money to travel. I am afraid I will loose my family time expecting to spent after long time away from them, just because of this issue. Please resolve this issue and issue the ticket. Thanks

                        Brother they won't refund money, after all they have to raise their revenues. I checked on internet, Yatra's revenue has been declining from past 6 quarters. Same thing they did to me, they looted 4.5 Lakhs INR from me in the name of Europe tour and my all services are not utilized as our VISA is rejected last moment. Now Yatra is not refunding my money. This is their strategy to raise their revenues.
                        I also have some issue on visa dates and fresh ticket was purchased over and above the tour cost. What is your case for rejection of visa and was visa apppointment taken on time ?

                          I have bought the international ticket, today 13th August 2017, for travel to India, from 30th August 2017 Doha-Delhi-Hyderabad, return 3rd Sept 2017 Hyderabad-Bombay-Doha, paid through credit card, on 9:24 am (Qatar Time), the payment has been taken from our my account, and now it is 1:10 pm (Qatar Time) have neither received ticket confirmation nor any email correspondence. Upon calling customer service I am told the payment system is down, and we will get back to you in one hour time. Still waiting for the response. It is an international ticket purchase, with huge amount for me. The reference number I am given is[protected]. I am just not believing myself, I travel very often, but this has happened for the first time in my life, that a reputed online ticket website have such a problem, completely flabbergasted and annoyed. You failed to provide the service (no ticket) you took money, and your promised refund also delayed, is this fair practice, where is your corporate governance, for God sake.                                 Respected Sir/ Madam,

                                I, Rishikesh Tiwari would like to bring in your kind notice on irregularities by Yatra and Jet and seek your kind intervention in this; Details of the issue is as below:

                                I have booked Tickets for my family members from Yatra (for Jet Airways) on 4th July and I have been charged for Rs.23780/- but there was no actual ticket booked. I tried calling Yatra which is really a difficult task- finally I got the answer that the same was because of system error and the amount will be refunded in next 2 days- then there was reply that it will be done on 7 days and 10 days- Finally I got this refund after one week almost and the issue was closed. On 4th when ticket was not booked (and PNR was not generated and I have been charged)- after discussion with Yatra call centre- I have purchased another ticket-(paid 26020/) but the worst shock and surprise was that in spite of correct data and details- the destination changed (to become from and vice-a-versa); this is purely because of system error, faulty online system. I bought this in to notice of Yatra Management but not got any proper response- finally escalated to Jet Airways highest authority and finally I have been refunded some amount and I have penalized for 14165/- by deductions for no reason and no fault from my side.

                                I would like to draw your urgent attention on below point and you’re your intervention:
                                1.Only after my repeated follow up and reminders on UDF refunds- Yatra refunded the UDF amount that too I am not sure whether the same is genuine or not? I have not seen any pro-activeness in refunding the UDF from any one of them -even after sharing the circular of DGCA, Yatra and Jet were not ready initially to refund. Later on they refunded some amount but I am sure there is gap in the same.
                                2.Neither Yatra nor Jet ready to share the complete break up Total Amount Charged, Break of Refunded and Total Break Amount of Amount penalty. There is no transparency in charges they have charged to me.
                                3.Yatra is doing malpractices by overcharging to the consumers- like in this case and Jet Airways is directly / indirectly supporting in it but not disclosing the breakup of the charged amount.
                                4.Yatra is misleading consumer on their portal- when we try to book any air ticket- its shows X Rate- when we select that because X plus Rates- and finally we book and go to pay- we finally land up paying X Plus Plus amount- This is purely misleading consumers. There are so many hidden charges levied by Yatra which they never disclose and collect over charges from passengers.
                                5.The worst part is that Jet Airways does not have any control mechanism to stop and hold such malpractices at Yatra. They don’t have any review mechanism too. Since Yatra is issuing Jet Airways tickets by using “JET AIRWAYS” brand- its equal responsibility of airlines too- to control such unethical practice. Considering the principal service providers- Jet Airways cannot simply wash their hands from such issues.

                                I am also putting few reviews of Yatra (which is hardly few reviews among so many negative and worst reviews which is easily available on web) for your reference- request you to please have a look so that you understand how these Online companies play with consumers and harass by overcharging, by providing unprofessional services and doing unethical business. Such malpractices has to be looked seriously and suitable action should be taken against such irregularities..

                                  Hi team,

                                  My booking ref no. Is yh3443145. If have paid yatra team full fledged amount of inr 450, 000/- against our tour to europe. Our departure is 14-aug and till now we have no status of our visa. I am in touch with vfs italy and italy embassy and they are not helping either. When i asked your operations team, they are saying we can't do anything here. I am requesting them to shift my travel as my visa is still not processed but they are not helping. If i say that please refund my money in case i don't get my visa in next 2 days, they say we can't refund where as it can be easily be refunded. I checked with airline regarding our confirmed pnr ticket details, they said ticket fare is refundable and will be refunded to your travel agency's account. So the point is if airline is ready to refund, why can't you refund my hard earned money.

                                  Now you will say that visa approval is not our hands, it's in hands of embassy. But question is why your sales agents makes false promises like your schengan visa will be processed in 10-15 days, it won't take more than that. Why your sales agents don't tell us in clear and transparent way that schengan visa might take time and chances are you may not even get visa on time. But why they would tell, after all they have to sell their products anyhow by making false claims and once booking payment is paid, their purpose is solved. This is the policy of yatra that anyhow just collect the full fledged amount from consumers and forget them. I have given yatra my hard earned money of rs 450, 000/- which is not a small amount for any middle class person but yatra has to increase their revenue by looting consumers and let them suffer.                                   haven't received from you Yatra team. This is how you become no 1 travel agency, you don't expect delays when it comes receiving payments but delays are ok for you when it comes giving service to the clients. This is how Yatra works, just collect money from Yatra and let them suffer.

                                  I also booked Europe flavors package for 3 people, and guess what we paid them 450, 000/- INR which is not small amount for middle class people. But it's big amount for Yatra as they have to raise their revenues by somehow. Lesson i learnt from this is all travel agencies are the chips of same blocks, they just have to collect money and forget it. It's always better now these days to plan your holidays both domestic and international on our own as we can cancel it anytime and loss would be minimum, we won't become slave of these cheap travel agencies by paying them our hard earned money.

                                  Yatra a typical low grade company who just has to sell their bookings by lies, saying non-sense craps. Yatra's sales agent says that you can't go for Schnegan VISA by our own, you have to take assistance from a travel agency otherwise embassy doesn't treat you which is total false and strategy used by Yatra sales team to misguide clients, as if applying VISA through Yatra gives you 100% guarantee that VISA will be approved. I met so many people and they said you can definately book schnegan VISA by own and if VISA gets rejected, you will directly get refund without interference from any travel agency. This is total crap and non-sense statements used to Yatra sales team just misguide and brainwash people just to earn their own pockets.

                                    Jet airways informed they transferred my refund amount to the agent yatra.com. But yatra.com cheated me by not giving my amount back. They told blind excuses like airlines didn't inform them about amount etc. I lost 17000rs from the fraud agent yatra. Previously also i had a bad experience from yatra since they give me points instead of cash for cancellation of a booking. Please be alert if you are doing any booking using yatra. You are going to loss huge amount if you have to reschedule or cancel ticket

                                    I got 3400rs refund last day. Thanks for that. But I still wonder about the remaining 13, 500rs. Jet airways informed me that you have took the remaining amount as penalty.

                                      I travelled from kerala to bangalore on 6-8-2017,
                                      Yatra.com reference number:[protected]
                                      The booking was for sam tours & travels 2+2, mercedes benz, ac seat number 5.

                                      Just before 2 hours of travel i got a message stating my bus number is ka.51 c.477 and seat is shifted to 17.

                                      When i went to the boarding point is was some old bus with no suspension and not even close to mercedes which i booked initially, one with worst a/c and seat was not even able to sit properly.

                                      When i asked why is the bus like this the driver told that the other bus has some complaints.

                                      Whole journey was a mess and now i am having back ache. Yatra dont even have a phone in customer care for bus booking.

                                      I request you to do a refund of the booking amount as this is a clear case of cheating.

                                        We did booking - yh3434960 - with your sale consultant - raghav. [protected]@yatra.com. He is very good in selling, but post that when we tried reaching him, he is diverting us to one or other poc. Truly, when it comes to after sale services, yatra is the worst we have encountered so far.

                                        There is no one reachable to support the customer of yatra at your helpdesk no. We booked and paid rs. 75000 and all we are getting is wait-wait-wait with no resolution.

                                        They agreed on one itinerary while taking booking amount and near to our travel date - 9th august, they sent some other itinerary. Its just 3 days to travel and no one to help. Revised itinerary also, yet to be received. Don't you think your services are quite slow.

                                        We loved and had a delightful experience with makemytip, but our choice to select yatra is turning out to be a nightmare.

                                        Please help us. At least give us 1 poc no. Who is reachable all the time, since raghav is either disconnecting our calls and vinay the ops person is on off. Let us know whom should we contact.

                                        We have just 1 days to travel to Thailand on 9th August, on a package booked from this Yatra.com group. Let us know how long you want us to keep patience.

                                        Highly disappointed by your services. Today also we are following up and your team/POC allotted to us - Vinay Singh is on weekly off and Raghav Ahuja is not picking our calls. This is the so called superb service your guys are providing.

                                        Please can someone actually help us, in place of just asking us to keep patience. We paid 75000 bucks and now we are scared where that all fund went. Please help, there is no support from Yatra.com so far.
