I have bought the international ticket, today 13th August 2017, for travel to India, from 30th August 2017 Doha-Delhi-Hyderabad, return 3rd Sept 2017 Hyderabad-Bombay-Doha, paid through credit card, on 9:24 am (Qatar Time), the payment has been taken from our my account, and now it is 1:10 pm (Qatar Time) have neither received ticket confirmation nor any email correspondence. Upon calling customer service I am told the payment system is down, and we will get back to you in one hour time. Still waiting for the response. It is an international ticket purchase, with huge amount for me. The reference number I am given is[protected]. I am just not believing myself, I travel very often, but this has happened for the first time in my life, that a reputed online ticket website have such a problem, completely flabbergasted and annoyed. I hope this will be resolved and I will get my ticket. I hope I not heading for a worst experience of my life in dealing with Yatra.com. Thanks

This is not the way you conduct your business, your wrong practices is making the prospective customer suffer. You failed to provide the service (no ticket) you took money, and your promised refund also delayed, is this fair practice, where is your corporate governance, for God sake. You are public listed company, what kind of accountability is being practiced. Is this a business model, to take people money through showing services which isn't being provided, and delaying repayment/refunds.

No, it has not been credited yet. I am still waiting.
Brother they won't refund money, after all they have to raise their revenues. I checked on internet, Yatra's revenue has been declining from past 6 quarters. Same thing they did to me, they looted 4.5 Lakhs INR from me in the name of Europe tour and my all services are not utilized as our VISA is rejected last moment. Now Yatra is not refunding my money. This is their strategy to raise their revenues.

        Respected Sir/ Madam,

        I, Rishikesh Tiwari would like to bring in your kind notice on irregularities by Yatra and Jet and seek your kind intervention in this; Details of the issue is as below:

        I have booked Tickets for my family members from Yatra (for Jet Airways) on 4th July and I have been charged for Rs.23780/- but there was no actual ticket booked. I tried calling Yatra which is really a difficult task- finally I got the answer that the same was because of system error and the amount will be refunded in next 2 days- then there was reply that it will be done on 7 days and 10 days- Finally I got this refund after one week almost and the issue was closed. On 4th when ticket was not booked (and PNR was not generated and I have been charged)- after discussion with Yatra call centre- I have purchased another ticket-(paid 26020/) but the worst shock and surprise was that in spite of correct data and details- the destination changed (to become from and vice-a-versa); this is purely because of system error, faulty online system. I bought this in to notice of Yatra Management but not got any proper response- finally escalated to Jet Airways highest authority and finally I have been refunded some amount and I have penalized for 14165/- by deductions for no reason and no fault from my side.

        I would like to draw your urgent attention on below point and you’re your intervention:
        1.Only after my repeated follow up and reminders on UDF refunds- Yatra refunded the UDF amount that too I am not sure whether the same is genuine or not? I have not seen any pro-activeness in refunding the UDF from any one of them -even after sharing the circular of DGCA, Yatra and Jet were not ready initially to refund. Later on they refunded some amount but I am sure there is gap in the same.
        2.Neither Yatra nor Jet ready to share the complete break up Total Amount Charged, Break of Refunded and Total Break Amount of Amount penalty. There is no transparency in charges they have charged to me.
        3.Yatra is doing malpractices by overcharging to the consumers- like in this case and Jet Airways is directly / indirectly supporting in it but not disclosing the breakup of the charged amount.
        4.Yatra is misleading consumer on their portal- when we try to book any air ticket- its shows X Rate- when we select that because X plus Rates- and finally we book and go to pay- we finally land up paying X Plus Plus amount- This is purely misleading consumers. There are so many hidden charges levied by Yatra which they never disclose and collect over charges from passengers.
        5.The worst part is that Jet Airways does not have any control mechanism to stop and hold such malpractices at Yatra. They don’t have any review mechanism too. Since Yatra is issuing Jet Airways tickets by using “JET AIRWAYS” brand- its equal responsibility of airlines too- to control such unethical practice. Considering the principal service providers- Jet Airways cannot simply wash their hands from such issues.

        I am also putting few reviews of Yatra (which is hardly few reviews among so many negative and worst reviews which is easily available on web) for your reference- request you to please have a look so that you understand how these Online companies play with consumers and harass by overcharging, by providing unprofessional services and doing unethical business. Such malpractices has to be looked seriously and suitable action should be taken against such irregularities..

          Hi team,

          My booking ref no. Is yh3443145. If have paid yatra team full fledged amount of inr 450, 000/- against our tour to europe. Our departure is 14-aug and till now we have no status of our visa. I am in touch with vfs italy and italy embassy and they are not helping either. When i asked your operations team, they are saying we can't do anything here. I am requesting them to shift my travel as my visa is still not processed but they are not helping. If i say that please refund my money in case i don't get my visa in next 2 days, they say we can't refund where as it can be easily be refunded. I checked with airline regarding our confirmed pnr ticket details, they said ticket fare is refundable and will be refunded to your travel agency's account. So the point is if airline is ready to refund, why can't you refund my hard earned money.

          Now you will say that visa approval is not our hands, it's in hands of embassy. But question is why your sales agents makes false promises like your schengan visa will be processed in 10-15 days, it won't take more than that. Why your sales agents don't tell us in clear and transparent way that schengan visa might take time and chances are you may not even get visa on time. But why they would tell, after all they have to sell their products anyhow by making false claims and once booking payment is paid, their purpose is solved. This is the policy of yatra that anyhow just collect the full fledged amount from consumers and forget them. I have given yatra my hard earned money of rs 450, 000/- which is not a small amount for any middle class person but yatra has to increase their revenue by looting consumers and let them suffer.           haven't received from you Yatra team. This is how you become no 1 travel agency, you don't expect delays when it comes receiving payments but delays are ok for you when it comes giving service to the clients. This is how Yatra works, just collect money from Yatra and let them suffer.

          I also booked Europe flavors package for 3 people, and guess what we paid them 450, 000/- INR which is not small amount for middle class people. But it's big amount for Yatra as they have to raise their revenues by somehow. Lesson i learnt from this is all travel agencies are the chips of same blocks, they just have to collect money and forget it. It's always better now these days to plan your holidays both domestic and international on our own as we can cancel it anytime and loss would be minimum, we won't become slave of these cheap travel agencies by paying them our hard earned money.

          Yatra a typical low grade company who just has to sell their bookings by lies, saying non-sense craps. Yatra's sales agent says that you can't go for Schnegan VISA by our own, you have to take assistance from a travel agency otherwise embassy doesn't treat you which is total false and strategy used by Yatra sales team to misguide clients, as if applying VISA through Yatra gives you 100% guarantee that VISA will be approved. I met so many people and they said you can definately book schnegan VISA by own and if VISA gets rejected, you will directly get refund without interference from any travel agency. This is total crap and non-sense statements used to Yatra sales team just misguide and brainwash people just to earn their own pockets.

            Jet airways informed they transferred my refund amount to the agent yatra.com. But yatra.com cheated me by not giving my amount back. They told blind excuses like airlines didn't inform them about amount etc. I lost 17000rs from the fraud agent yatra. Previously also i had a bad experience from yatra since they give me points instead of cash for cancellation of a booking. Please be alert if you are doing any booking using yatra. You are going to loss huge amount if you have to reschedule or cancel ticket

              I travelled from kerala to bangalore on 6-8-2017,
              Yatra.com reference number:[protected]
              The booking was for sam tours & travels 2+2, mercedes benz, ac seat number 5.

              Just before 2 hours of travel i got a message stating my bus number is ka.51 c.477 and seat is shifted to 17.

              When i went to the boarding point is was some old bus with no suspension and not even close to mercedes which i booked initially, one with worst a/c and seat was not even able to sit properly.

              When i asked why is the bus like this the driver told that the other bus has some complaints.

              Whole journey was a mess and now i am having back ache. Yatra dont even have a phone in customer care for bus booking.

              I request you to do a refund of the booking amount as this is a clear case of cheating.

                Hi team,

                We did booking - yh3434960 - with your sale consultant - raghav. [protected]@yatra.com. He is very good in selling, but post that when we tried reaching him, he is diverting us to one or other poc. Truly, when it comes to after sale services, yatra is the worst we have encountered so far.

                There is no one reachable to support the customer of yatra at your helpdesk no. We booked and paid rs. 75000 and all we are getting is wait-wait-wait with no resolution.

                They agreed on one itinerary while taking booking amount and near to our travel date - 9th august, they sent some other itinerary. Its just 3 days to travel and no one to help. Revised itinerary also, yet to be received. Don't you think your services are quite slow.

                We loved and had a delightful experience with makemytip, but our choice to select yatra is turning out to be a nightmare.

                Please help us. At least give us 1 poc no. Who is reachable all the time, since raghav is either disconnecting our calls and vinay the ops person is on off. Let us know whom should we contact.

                Dear Team,

                We have just 1 days to travel to Thailand on 9th August, on a package booked from this Yatra.com group. Let us know how long you want us to keep patience.

                Highly disappointed by your services. Today also we are following up and your team/POC allotted to us - Vinay Singh is on weekly off and Raghav Ahuja is not picking our calls. This is the so called superb service your guys are providing.

                Please can someone actually help us, in place of just asking us to keep patience. We paid 75000 bucks and now we are scared where that all fund went. Please help, there is no support from Yatra.com so far.

I went ahaead and booked. Then i realized that the booked amount it showed is only for 2 adults. There is no option given to add the infant while booking as well.                       Passport details also have been shared on 5th june'2017. But still i got a mail that your trip has been cancelled and amount has been forfeited.

                      Please call immediately as need to discuss regarding the same.

                      I got a mail that your trip has been cancelled and amount has been forfeited. I have shared the passport details 45 days back & even gave confirmation on the same.

                      No one came back to me post that.

                      It will be harassment from yatra for such rude behaviour.

                      We are regular customer of yatra.com but this was such a shock to see such unprofessional behaviour.

                      We have been following up with you since afternoon on this issue where we have sent you a mail with the details and to which you guys are denying at the last moment. I have got multiple calls from you and have been harassed since afternoon and would like to take this up further with the senior team.

                      The team was unresponsive all through this time and have completely not accepting their mistake and are not going ahead with my package. I request you all to please refund the complete trip amount as this is not my mistake if the mail was unacknowledged from your end and cannot take last minute cancellation or else please book the trip and close the same.

                        I have booked go air flight ticket for travelling from hyderabad to kolkata and i have paid rs. 260 for meal while booking of my flight ticket but in the flight on 27.07.17 go air cabin crew told me that you have not paid/informed about my meal so they have not provided the meal. Since i used to take medicine after dinner and was very hungry i have paid again for the meal. So it was totally fault of yatra.                           Hi this is the 2nd time am complaining about this fraud, its been more than a month am waiting for my refund. Every time i call them they tell me some other story on 11th july i got the mail that i will get my refund in 10 days. I don`t know which kind of calendar you guys use. Am really really shocked that such big company can also fraud for just 10, 000 rs. Look if you can`t return the money tell me upfront. So that i don`t waste my time here and there. But i think yatra.com is a company of thief's take money very politely after that, they even stop responding to calls, waoo hatts off to you thief`s. You made my me realize that come what may but never ever book a holiday or trip to abroad with you people.. You should change your name from yatra.com to thiefs.com stealing innocent people money. God will never forgive your actions. They never respond to my calls nor emails.

                          Is there any1 who can help me in getting my money back. Or i think the last option i have to file an police complain against them.

                            I booked airline ticket through yatra.com. The company provided me invoice with expenses/charges under heads a) flight amount (B) taxes, fees and surcharge (Booking ref no yatra reference number[protected],[protected] of date 16th june 2017)

                            I am requesting the company to furnish the break up of taxes, fee and surcharges (Clubbed amount shown in the invoice) as i am asked to furnish the same to my employer. The company is reluctant to give the information sought by me. The company is giving replies like 'invoice can not be edited.""contact the concerned airlines for details." i have requested them to provide the information through a mail or letter and they need not edit the invoice.
                            As a consumer, we have booked the airline ticket through yatra. They have collected amount from us for booking the ticket with the airlines. Now, they are informing they can not give the full details of charges, fee and surcharges that they have collected from me.
                            I am requesting the company to provide me the details for the last 25 days and still the company has not provided the information requested for.

We had a detailed discussions on the matter. At the end of the conversation, you told that you could not provide the information what we are requesting.

                            The mail what you are referring, wherein you asked me whether it will be ok for me if you share the details through email. In my reply to that mail, I have communicated that you can share the details through email and I have no issue if my employer accepts the details what you will furnish.

                            I am sorry to say that you are using rosy words like 'feel free to write us back and we would be happy to help you.' without doing a small job of providing the details of bills. It is a very sorry state of a customer of yours who have to beg several times for the details of the amount paid by him for the services extended by you.

                            NO. You are cheating the customers by sending a reply that you have complied with the requirement of the customer but without doing anything. The Invoices what you have shared now are THE SAME INVOICES that you had already shared . Sir, I am requesting you to provide me details of Service Tax, Taxes and other charges clubbed in that invoice.

                            Are you trying to fool the customer. I think I am very clear in communicating my requirement. But you are sending the same invoices again and again without providing the information what I am asking for .
                            I once again requesting you to provide me the details at the earliest. The invoices what you are referring is already with me which do not contain any details of Tax/Charges details.

                                We had booked a trip to sikkim through yatra portal (Ref no: yh3369903). We have been given a consolidated bill including hotel & logistics. We are asking yatra to give us detail of our travelling cost so that ltc benefit can be claimed but yatra has declined. Inspite of repeated requests they are not furnishing the information. They refuse to accept this basic rule of income tax.
                                The trip was also not as comfortable as one would have anticipated for shelling higher amount. Their lack of cooperation at every step has made the experience even worse.

                                    I am going to a college in pilani and booked a hotel using yatra two months prior. Paid the amount upfront. Now one day before leaving to pilani, i get a call asking me to cancel the booking. They failed to book the hotel for which i paid in prior. They are also not refunding. This should not be allowed. I paid for the service that i should be entitled with. The customer care is also really bad, they are not bothered with the situation at all. Judging by the other complaints i have seen, some action must be taken. I am going to sue the company.

                                      Be aware before booking your vacation on yatra.com. Yatra it self is calming that what ever the information is showing in site about hotel is not correct.

                                      I booked a hotel at bolpur for family vacation on 19th july at yatra.com and the same days i got confirmation of my booking. After getting confirmation i plan my leave and schedule my train ticket. But suddenly on 21st july one representative name "aditi dalvi" call me and said that this hotel no more available.

                                      When i ask her how it is possible. When i booked this hotel it was available and thats why it is booked and after two day you are saying that it is already booked.

                                      She said that the information on yatra.com was not correct,

                                      It is hotel fault because they did not update the status in yatra. After listening this unethical clause i ask her to provide a alternet accommodation on same place but she said that they only refund the money and i need to search it again in yatra which is already a full of incorrect information about hotel. She also ask my confirmation about the cancellation and is clearly said that either i need compensation or alternet solution. After few minute i get a mail and she mention that she trying to talk with me but i am not available so she is sending mail. Again a false claim.

                                      I booked this hotel by depending on yatra.com information provided at site. Now yatra it self is saying the information was wrong. Due to their fault now my family vacation became uncertain.

                                      Those are reading this post please be careful before book any hotel at yatra. Be cause yatra can spoil you vacation.
