I had deposited a fee of rs. 300 for opening a demat account in zerodha. After all the formalities i received and email stating 'zerodha account opening form rejected'. They only mentioned that this was due to bank details issue but did not mention what actually went wrong.

I tried calling the zerodha sales executive from kolkata (Who had called me once and had inspired me to open an account in zerodha) to know the issue but he never picked my call. I waited thinking that he might not be working on sat and sun i called him on monday but the same happened. I tried contacting him over whatsapp but he gave no response. While calling him multiple times i once found that he is on another call but i still did not get his response.
After all these demoralising tries i tried contacting zerodha customer care but there also my call got hung up after 1 or 2 mins for waiting. I feel helpless now. Feeling like cheated. I have all the screenshots when i called the zerodha sales executive and also the call recordings of ivr where my calls were getting hung. If required i will post them as well.

I paid Rs. 300 as account opening charges in zerodha through UPI Payment. But I can't complete the steps to open the account. So kindly refund the account opening charges.

I have entered an incorrect ifsc code in the account creation form and my application got rejected.
I have tried to update the ifsc code but cant find where to change .please help me out

    The issue i am facing is like this
    I have a commodity futures in my position (Which i understand it get settled everyday)
    Suppose i bought a gold futures - nrml (Sell - 38000) and have carry fwded to next day. And now on the same day i have done an mis on the same commodity at the price (Buy -38100 and sell - 38119).

    Next day what i see under my gold futures nrml position is that sell position has changed to 38119. It was suppose to be 38000.

    Now since gold prices are increasing so i am carry forwarding this nrml and executing the mis everyday with small profit. Due to which the nrml value keeps on changing and i loose track of at what price i bought the gold futures in my account. And when the price start coming down (Suppose below 38119) then even-though in app it shows that i am in profit but actually i am not until the price goes below 38000.

    This looks like they purposefully have created this kind of bug so that people will loose track of at what price the commodity got executed at first.

    First day- nrml - sell 38000 — closing price 38229 — (22900 rs deducted)
    Mis - sell 38119, buy 38100

    Second day - nrml - sell 38119 (This is carry forwarded from first day but the value of sell has chnaged)

    Now here on the first day they deducted some amount since the price went high. On second day prices started coming down and they reach 38119 and it shows i am in profit. But actually i am not till it goes below 38000.

    This was a small example with one quantity but if many quantities are brought then we loose track of the actual value at which the commodities were executed.

    If we look at the whole picture then it gives an idea that they are tricking us by manipulating the numbers and making us believe that we are in profit. But its actually they are in profit if we loose track of all the values at which the commodities got executed.

      Kindly note that i request thru ticket, email and phone to activate my commodity accounts which was delay for ecn or poa unnecessary even after getting delivery nobody there to work activate it.

      So i demand my accounts opening amount to be refund immediately otherwise this matter will not solve between us..

      Very worst and unprofessional and uneducated service by zerodha support service even after request they do nothing... No proper managem

        I want to learn trading and therefore i opened trading accounts with zerodha as per my trainer advise under his referral link, but zerodha make stories says you already exits whereas i did first time.

        I ask them to map it or refund my accounts opening charges but no proper response

        Also i request to close permanent accounts

        I am really disappointed with zerodha customer support very unprofessional.

        I have already sent poa document & delieverd to zerodha and (I have confirmed from courier services). Its been 7days the poa is delivered to ur office but still not updated, Resolve it as soon as possible, i can not wait more or i wil close this account else.

          After rigrous followup of 3 months and registering complaint, now the account is deactivated
          But now even i am not able to login to zerodha account, even though the account is not closed
          Now i placed request for rematerilization of mutual fund, it has been 1 month
          And i am not able to get any update
          Whenever you call them they will say you will get a callback from a concerned department, and no call back is received
          What kind of call center is this, nobody has any idea, same answer is for every request.
          If they charge less brokerage, they are compensating with other things definately

          I got a update from the Zerodha, but why I need to reach consumer complaint forum for every complaints, why do not you take the tickets and customer call seriously.
          Zerodha Account Opening Form Rejected due to account no. is not shown fully.
          So unable to resubmit the bank statement.
          Please let me know the process.

            Hi

            I requested for the opening of an account on zerodha portal on 22nd nov. 2018 and made a payment of 300/-. Due to some issue which is beyond my knowledge, account could not be opened. I requested your office to help me with this matter. My relationship manager "subhankar chakraborty (Ph. [protected])" told me that physical document needs to be picked as the error is beyond the control of the it team. After much followups and requests, document pickup was done after 11 months i. E. On 9th october 2019. After the pickup of documents, 2nd phase of followups started. Recently i have received a mail stating that i have not submitted my pan card, adhaar card and statement of account from your customer care with guidance that i should contact my said relationship manager.

            I called up relationship manager multiple times and could succeed talking to him on 23rd evening. He told me that irresponsibly "sir aapne document nahi diye honge". I told him that, all the three documents were given as per the requirement of person came to collect the document. Just and irresponsible behaviour and the endless wait started again. Just before writing you this mail, i called up my relationship manager and he did not pick my call.

            Out of frustration, i put it on twitter of nithin kamath and zerodha. Regret nobody is bothered:

            Request:
            Take suitable action against relationship manager
            Open my account immediately.
            Suitably reimburse me for mental agony.
            I will not pay a single penny for next year as its been 1 year that my account has nto been opened and money has been deducted.

            My account opening form is rejected because of the absence of MICR Code in bank statement, But the statement has IFSC & MICR Code.I resent the screenshot of the MICR Code to the mail id of Zerodha Sales Executive.

            I have paid 500 rupees to open demat account, but I have decided not to go with further opening of account due to document problems. So i want my money back.
            I have registered 2 days ago for a trading account and i've submitted every respected document they asked for but i don't know why but the ipv got rejected and they're asking to redo it but i'm not able to see any email or any link to redo it.
            If they're not able to solve my issue they should refund my money which i paid for registeration.
            I tried to contact the executive through email but there is no reply from their side.

                I was opened an account with zerodha and I submitted forms by digital sign. And i purchased shares and I send POA hard copy two times which was successfully delivered. But after receiving POA they rejected multiple time saying poa not filled correctly.
                Even before sending it to Zerodha I get it verified by thair zerodha support team(santosh.[protected]@zerodha.com) by sending the images of filled POA form.

                  Dear sir,

                  Zerodha took 300 rupees from me in the name of opening account and didn't respond after repeated follow up. An executive named namith from their call center blamed it on a person named balaji for not doing his duties of collecting required documents. Now after 15 days of follow up i requested them to give me back my money as they were not able to open the account and to my surprise, they clearly didn't follow their own protocol of 10 days money refund policy and still declining to refund my money.

                  I do hard work to earn my money, i can't see it getting stolen by online thief like zerodha.

                    Iam seriously shocked the way the zerodah support team are behaving on my poa forms status. As per my courier service provider the forms were delivered on 16th oct2019. I was updating the sales executive assigned to my account. And even after i wasn't able to sell my shares i gave to customer service. I was simply shocked by their response saying that they haven't the courier itself.. I feel completely disrespected by these guys. Then don't know even what is customer service. They wasted the 2days and now they are saying it will take another 2 days once they find the courier... Where every second is very valuable in this stocks business they have wasted my 2 days and now they want another 2 days.. Its seriously a # thing from them. My poa forms is been hanging from 25days now because of their poor response. 1st they rejected my form saying that the last letter in my signature was not matching.. Looks like we need to keep a stamped signature so that they wil not find any minute difference also.. After lot of trouble making they approved my forms and sent the courier and now they are simply saying they haven't received the courier.. Now i don't know where to go and what to do... I have invested alot of money and i'm in good profit now which i can take..

                      Poa document (Via dtdc h[protected] sent and delivered to zerodha on 10-oct. Till on 17-oct the poa document is not updated in my account by zerodha. I am keep reaching to zerodha support team last 4 days but no progress is happening.

                      Support team provided the sale manager number who's number not working and no call back from him as well. I have invested on stock and unable to place sell order for the past one week. Stock price are in good hike and unable to gain the profit.

                      Even support request#[protected] is raised on 15-oct and no action taken on the request. Escalated the issue to [protected]@zerodha.com, [protected]@zerodha.com, [protected]@zerodha.com, but no response received from any of them.

                      I am losing my profit and required zerodha to take immediate action.

                        Customer service is pathetic.
                        10th pass students without logic people are sitting to support in case of any issue
                        I was trying to close or deactivate my account since 3 months, it is impossibel to reach them on phone they ask for some password which never works
                        I have submitted the form as well for deactivation
                        They call me for confirmation, and they don't understand anything
                        I even confirmed still they dont deactivate the account

                        I am in a threshold to get fired in the company because account in zerodha is not allowed.

                          In my demate account, opening balance was rs 3432.62.. Then i purchased some share.. That time my account was showing margin used rs 976... Then after few hours i cancelled the order bec of less money. Next day remaining balance in my account was rs2431.. They deducted my money of rs (976+25=101). I'm asking to the customer care i'm not getting proper response. Im not complaining thinking that they deducted my money.. It's all about trust on zerodha.. By the way this is not first time they deducted my money... They deducted many time but i was thinking they charging some fee and all. But reality is they are stealing money from us..

                            My stop loss get triggered but price not even reached but it triggered at my stop loss price. I verified with execution time and the chart price not reached my stop loss but it get triggered at that price. I shared my screen shot verify the execution time and check the price reach in chart or not. Because of this fake price triggered i got 4500 loss.

                            Since brokers do not receive data of all trades that happen at the exchange it is possible that the chart might not have captured the trade that triggered your stoploss.                             I bought shares and sold in intraday in zerodha.But in report
                            the STT charges shown more than i calculated in zerodha brokerage calculator and more money is deducted as STT charges

                                I submitted my application offline to zerodha representative on 6th of sep and i was told that application will take 10 days to complete. I paid rs/- 300 as joining fee.
                                But even after 19 days, application not processed. During this time bse/nse stock market moved from bad phase to good phase and i didn't invest in stock.

                                Upon enquire, zerodha said my application rejected due to invalid address proof which is vehicle registration copy. At the time of submitting my application, zerodha representative should have told that vehicle registration is not accepted as proof of address.

                                Now, i 've told zerodha to cancel my application and refund my rs/- 300.
                                But they said we can't refund the money.

                                Kindly support me to get my rs/- 300.

                                  Bank statement - cheque not personalised required latest month bank statement / bank passbook copy with self attested.

                                  This is an account opening form rejection when the cheque submitted as a proof is not personalised(does not include your name). You are needed to submit another bank proof(Bank statement or scanned bank passbook).

                                    Sir i'm avinash kumar my zerodha id is ym7009. Today i placed order in britannia at 2647.30 but after executing the order there was no position showing in the position menu therefore i was unable to put stoploss. It took 2 minutes to show me the position till than i was late i had lost ₹26680. This is heartbreaking for me. And i want my money back otherwise i will have to go consumer forum.

                                    I have. Gone through all the required formalities to activate the account, but still it hasn't been activated . It's been 1 week .
                                    Please do it asap, so that I can start with the trading from my account .

                                      Hi,
                                      This is second time i am facing issue with zerodha for new mobile platform for my fut of federal bank. First their system sold my two nrml position (Converted to nrml from mis on same day well before the trading session end time). Second time yesterday for my nrml position. This buy order for this position i cancelled but still system sold it. I raised it to their support team but not getting any help. Their top mangers and ceo busy in minting money rather than looking into their technical system & making it error free.
