Etk No[protected]C2 FF[protected] AI 701 CCU to DEL, 26th Sep 14 Seat No 33J Sir, 1. I regret to inform you regarding the utter callous, uncaring and lackadaisical attitude of one of your cabin crew in the said flight. 2. The name of the cabin crew is MRS AHLAWAT. 3. Mrs Ahlawat, while serving coffee to me was so much in a hurry, that she spilled the boiling hot coffee on my hand. 4. Notwithstanding the mistake, she did not even bother to apologize for her act which caused my hand to get burnt. 5. On calling her back, she had the audacity to tell me and i Quote "oh its just a drop, It'll be fine" 6. What disgusts me is her attitude towards the passengers, notwithstanding that somebody's hand has got burnt. 7. The passenger seated next to me was a witness to the complete act and may be contacted to confirm the same if so desired by you. 8. The Cabin Incharge and the captain of the aircraft was also apprised of the same issue. 9. It is kindly requested that appropriate action may kindly be initiated against the cabin crew in question to avoid repetition of such occurrences. 10. it is also requested that the same may kindly be informed to me, else i plan to raise the issue with the media which may cause avoidable harm to the reputation of your great airline.

My name is Patrick Van David and I flew in AI 142 on 7 jan 2015. My luggage was lost when I reached New delhi from Paris.I placed a lost luggage report DL2024927 and a contact # for gate 1 travel the tour of Indlia that I was a part of. To make a long story short, AI sent my luggage to the Holiday Inn in the central district and was left there. At that time I had left New delhil for Agra and didn`t get my luggage until 14 Jan at Jaipur. I feel that AI is responsible for my aggravation and cost. Unless Gate 1 had not stepped up and found my luggage and sent it to Jaipur I wouldn`t have ever got it.

Dear Sir, This is to bring to you notice the ordeal and trauma which more than 200 people went through yesterday August 19th at Dubai Air port while on board Air India flight AI 996 at 0005 hours. I boarded the flight along with my wife and my 6 years old daughter for Delhi. Flight didn't took off and after 40 minutes of skejuled departure we were informed that there is some technical fault and it will take some more time for flight to take off... Air conditioning was not working at it took another hour for Captain to call for ground AC after begging and pleading by passengers while the crew was enjoying eating/ drinking. Everyone requested to be deplaned but crew insisted that as protocol no one can leave and we're served dinner along with water at around 2am on grounded aircraft, just to add there were kids/ infants elderly people on board at the helm of Air India staff which was inhuman. At 4 am we were deplaned and informed that plane will not take off and were moved to the departure gate being held like prisoners at the Nazi camp for another 2 hours before being booked on Emirates flight at 9.45 am. After 3 kilometres of walking with lady and kid to Emirates terminal we were told that Air India staff has not made the reservation--tried calling AI staff but they had switched off their phones and went back home. Finally we got the boarding passes of Emirates flight after lot of arguing and persuasion, sitting at airport deprived of sleep for more than 24 hours because we chose our national carrier. Finally landed Delhi at 3pm with medical conditional because of ordeal and the mental/ physical torture...missed office and work which costed money and reputation ( AI doesn't have this so not sure if they will understand ) I will send the pictures as well which took of kids crying at the airport, people vomiting because of inhuman situation and elderlies in bad shape at terminal because of suffocation inside flight and at terminal. Pathetic...still this Air line survives on taxes we pay from our hard earned money. Please treat this as notice and I will be approaching the court of law, formal paper will follow soon.

Dear Sir, With reference to my booking no [protected] (JD62H) it is brought to your notice that the AI 9i501 on 09jun14 was cancelled by AIR INDIA and i was given a cancellation receipt of the ENTIRE PNR. However, today i have received mail from Yatra.com stating that instead of Rs.17801 only 13646.00 is being processed for refund by Air India. Where is my remaining Rs.4155? as the cancellation receipt clearly says that the entire PNR was cancelled.

we had booked VIA AIR INDIA ticket for rs 27700 for a return journey from kathmandu and kolkata, we had cancelled the ticket from kolkata to katmandu, the refund amount by customer care was promised to be 50% +- 5% verbally plus the cancellation charge. however only rs 3780 is refunded. reason given is "Since the ticket coupon was used out of sequence, as per fare rule, the basic amount and fuel surcharge has been deducted as cancellation charge. " this was not mentioned at the time of ticket cancellation.we could have easily cancelled the full ticket and booked a new one way journey ticket and saved 10, 000. we should atleast recieve rs 12780. but we were given only rs 3780.we posess all the email exchanged between us and the authuority and tickets for documentation. please look into the matter.

Air India complaint file reference file # BOMAI10330.
air India mis-handled my bags and delayed the delivery until almost one full week.
I am yet to receive the bags ( total 7 bags) in USA. the FedEx tracking says the bags will be delivered on Monday 20th August 2014. the bags were not loaded on to the plane on 11th august 2014. and we had to travel back to USA without bags. on 13th morning AI got the bags at JFK Airport in NYC but they shipped them on 14th Aug 2014 with a 2 day shipping method with a week day only delivery causing the bags to be delivered only on Monday.

This is very poor issue management by AI. Especially when the bags were not loaded by them and international travel was impacted. all other international Air lines have very good standards of customer service but AI is not even compensating me for this baggage delayed

AIR INDIA - please arrange the compensation as per international standards.

                    Address: Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh

I have booked my flight from Gwalior to Bangalore (PNR J725C ) by Air India. This includes connecting flight (Gwalior to Delhi and Delhi to Bangalore). Gwalior to Delhi flight got cancelled by Air India. When i am asking for compensation they are denying. I have booked flights in higher rates from Gwalior to Bangalore. I asked them for providing me a A/C 4 wheeler from Gwalior to Delhi so that i could catch Delhi to Bangalore Flight. But they are telling i need to go to Delhi by my own transportation. My Suggestions : - 1. They should provide 4 wheeler from Gwalior to Delhi airport. 2. Since it would be very hectic they should provide compensation for this. 3. This the second time happening with me. So they should stop booking from Gwalior (since last week itself they have cancelled 3 flights). It is really a inconvenience to passengers. I was travelling from Hyderabad (India) to Kansas City (USA) through Air India/ Delta Airlines (origin to destination is on same ticket), I paid fee for my excess baggage in Hyderabad, but later when I reached Bombay (for connecting flight - supposed to be Delta but had to take Air India again because of their delay at Hyd airport) I was forced to pay $200 again for the excess baggage (for which I already paid Rs. 4570 at Hyd airport). I called number of times to Air India customers for help to resolve this issue, I was given 2-3 phone numbers but none of them couldn't able to help me (at least they did admit that it was their fault to collect extra amount). Attached are my receipts at Hyderabad and Bombay.

Dear Sir, I would like to bring to your notice an incident that has broken my and my family's trust on Air India. Decades of taking the services of the airline has taken the benchmark of our expectations sky soaring high. My grand father Late Sri Dr. R H Kariwala was a panel doctor on your airline, since more than 3 decades ago. This is the kind of regards that we hold for Air India. We have a strong relationship with the Airline and most individuals of our family are frequent flyers. My father - Vijay Kariwala - Memb. No.[protected], Uncle - Ajay Kariwala - Memb. No.[protected], Brother - Gaurav Kariwala[protected] & myself - Dipti Kariwala[protected]. The current complain is regarding a call with the customer care executive on[protected] at 10.24 am. I had called to enquire if my grandmother Mrs. Pushpa R Kariwala is travelling to and fro Kolkata - Mumbai on[protected] onwards and on[protected] return with PNR - YZKNX, Ticket No. - 098-[protected], could avail benefit of carrying excess 10 kgs under the flying returns program. The customer care executive in very lucid language confirmed with confidence that as soon I register her as a frequent flier through the flying returns site, she will be eligible to carry (15+10)kg = 25 kgs tomorrow for her 3rd july 2014 journey. I registered her and linked the details to the ticket and updated the journey details online, printed a new ticket. However, after registering her under flying returns, today, with Memb. No.[protected], when I called the customer care at 3.09 pm today, I was said the it takes one journey to activate the flying returns account and to become an active member. The benefit of additional 10 kgs will not be allowed for the 3rd July 2014 journey. I don't know which person was stating the facts or was misguiding customer due to pure irresponsibility. This is clear harassment to customers time and no respect for the brand of airline at all. I seek clarity on this and need to no how would I be compensated for this mishap. Awaiting your revert before taking further action on the same. Thank you. Warm Regards, Dipti Kariwala. # [protected].

To, The President, Air India India. Subject: Malpractice by AIR India Staff and Authority at Hydradabad Airport. Dear Sir, Like to aware you that today (7, July, 14), I have a flight booking from AI-51 from Hydradabad to Mumbai at 21:15. My Details: Reference Number:[protected]. PNR: Z7N4H Incident: I reached to Hydradabad Airport at 20:25 and at boarding counter at 20:38, I have valid proof for my entry at Airport and Boarding Counter. staff member said you are late and you are not suppose to take off from this flight, on counter argument i said it is 20:28 means still i have 40 min to take off the flight, then how comes i'm not able to take off. They called Assistant Manager: Sachin, he also denies for same and put my ticket under not attended. How can you put me un attended when i am at counter 40 min earlier. Neither they refund my amount 5281/- INR nor they make any alternate arrangement. This was the last flight of today. Next flight will be on 8, July, 2014 at 6:20. Now i'm in big trouble that i don't have any place to stay and i have to spend 10 hours at Airport and loss of 5281/- INR. I talk with other staff of AirIndia at Hydradabad Airport but no body is interested to compensate there mistake. I like to make an escalation for this Misconduct, Inconvenience and Financial Loss i face. This is highly humiliating that i am using India's best airlines service and on name of trust and services, I'm facing Humiliation and Financial Loss. Take Necessary Action and Compensate the Loss i bear, else i'll take this matter to further escalation. Your authorities is having no right to make such malpractices and people.

I booked new flight again spending more than rs10, 000 as well as I stayed in Chennai for one night spending money on hotels and all.I paid for there mistake. I even sent them few emails, they only paid me half amount without first discussing with me and after that they just stopped replying to my emails.

i too had a similar experience with Air India. I had a flight from TVM at 6am to Kochi at 6.45am. However, I was informed that the Air India flight would be delayed by one hour and hence would leave TVM only at 7am and reach Kochi at 7.45am. i was devastated as I had to catch my next flight from Kochi at 8.05am to reach Mumbai at 9.55am so that I could join for work. I expressed my inconvenience, and I was immediately assured that the airport duty manager will accomodate me in any other available carrier "free of cost". However, that was not the reality. At the airport, the duty managers were least cooperative. They said all they can do is help me buy a new ticket. The same time, I checked again at the Air India customer care number who kept repeating the same assurance to me that I will be accomodated free of cost in any other carrier flight. Well, sad to say, I lost all my money. Since the flight from Kochi to Mumbai was a special ticket with discounted fare, it was non refundable, and hence that too could not be reimbursed partially.

tickets cancelled and charging extra amount

Air India has cancelled my tickets without my intervention and saying that agent has cancelled these. They are re issuing tickets without penalty.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      · This is with regard to our travel ticket no. 098-[protected] and 098-[protected] booked dated 7th October, 2013 for travel on 8th November, 2013 from Jodhpur to Abu Dhabi via Mumbai.
                                      · On the date of the travel, since all flights from Jodhpur airport were cancelled, hence we were not able to travel on the same day, as per the AI travel cancellation policy; alternate arrangements for our travel plan should have been arranged by Air India. Further, the AI Manager on Duty Mr. Arif was not available for support either at city office or at the Airport.
                                      · But the support and cooperation which was expected form AI employees was completely missing as they asked us to travel at least after 4 days since they were not ready to issue alternate tickets from Jodhpur to Abu Dhabi/Dubai via Mumbai/Delhi.
                                      · This is extremely unfortunate as we had to book new tickets on an emergency basis from Delhi to Dubai at much higher price (Rs.25, 404) on the 8th Nov via travel ticket no. 098-[protected] for travel on the next day as both me and my wife had to attend our offices on 10th Nov, 2013.
                                      · This totally irresponsible attitude of the AI staff left us with no option but to travel via Rajasthan Roadways bus from Jodhpur to Delhi on 8th November night spanning 14 hours with our 55 kgs. Baggage along with the associated inconvenience and lack of sleep .For the bus travel, we had to spend about Rs.2200.Additionally, we had to spend 250 AED (about Rs.4500) for the taxi from Dubai airport to Abu Dhabi on 9th Nov, 2013.
                                      · Kindly suggest why should not the alternate travel arrangements were made for us as were done for other passengers. This callous and non-cooperative attitude of AI staff led to my wife getting sick and being hospitalized in an emergency ward when we reached Abu Dhabi .If required, we will attach the medical bills and sick leave certificate(s).
                                      · In lieu of this inaction and intransigent behavior, please arrange to compensate us adequately for the inconvenience, ill health and additional expenditure incurred.
Looking forward in hearing from you.
