My number is [protected]. I asked for a plan change before last bill cycle on 7th of dec. I switched from 299 plan to 349. The plan change came into effect on 15th dec. My initial plan offers a 3g of 500mb on reaching limit it will be downgraded to 2g. I was on 299 plan from 8th to 14th (First 7days of billing cycle) and 349 plan from 15th dec to 7th of jan, 2018. I was charged with inr 1616/- as monthly bill. My usual monthly bill always remains below 500 rupees and i was astonished to see a bill like this. I enquired customer care and i was told that the first 7 days my data was on 3g and after using a pro-rata of 16mb data i was charged at 10p/ 10kb (App. Rs.1000 per 1gb data). My usual plan switches down to 2g after completion of limit of 500mb. The customer care clarified that since i applied for plan change the network does not switch down to 2g. I am in no way in control of the network functioning during a plan change and now my mobile o/g is disconnected. I already paid rs.500/- before due date, which was always my monthly bill limit. I have noted that the data usage in my last remained as same as the previous month bills (Around 64000 pulse, i am not sure how they calculate) i have escalated this issue and waiting. The customer care over phone is just saying this is the way it happens during plan change and forcing me to pay. I felt really bad for asking for a plan change and staying on a post-paid plan on aircel.

Hope this issue is solved and somebody in aircel put themselves in customer's shoes and think.

We would like to inform you that as per system check your plan was Club 299 PPM Plan and the New plan is 3G Limitless 349 Plan. Further, on Club 299 plan benefit is 750 MB 3G Data 2G Unlimited and from Dec 15th New 3G Limitless 349 Plan was migrated. Moreover, you used GPRS for 15th date more than 2GB. Hence, as per tariff data usage charges found as correct and the waiver is not applicable.

Thanks your reply. It did not address the basic issue. My initial Plan 299 offer only 500MB on completion of the data it switches down to 2G. Please go through all the previous bills and i was not charged for excess usage. The Plan automatically switches down to 2g when it reaches the threshold. The network did not switch down to 2G after reaching the limit of 500MB (or pro-rata ) and offered it in 3G for which i may not be held responsible. The Customer care told me that i should go manually and switch to 2g which i have not done once during the entire stay with this network. I repeat my data usage did not change in this bills, it is in line with what i used every month since the activation. The only thing happened last billing cycle was a plan change and the network's inability to adjust accordingly shall not be pushed into my purse.

Out of total bill of 1616, collecting 1200+ rupees for 2gb of data usage is nowhere near the present market rates even in your network.

    Is this network gonna work? Whats wrong with them, we are missing so many important calls, and the number is registered with bank not able to complete the transaction, when the hell will this get fixed it is almost a week, changed my phone as well no use, if they can't provide network what are they planning to do need an update at the earliest by today.

      Hi team,

      I am staying in abroad and i am using aircel sim around 10 years. I read your comments that aadhar linking requires physical thumb impression where i can't do that since i am in abroad. But i would like to keep my mobile number active. Is there a way like my father can apply for a new sim with his id proof on the same number that i am using. Kindly, let me know if any other possible way to retain my mobile number since it has been registered with many of my profiles and i don't want to lose it.

        This is one of many instances when aircel is doing fraud with customers money. I am using aircel number [protected]. On this number company has deducted 30 rs twice. They subscribe to you any unwanted music services and then they deduct money.

        And the good part is that customer care will not receive any call after they have cheated with you. For once if your call gets connected they give the same copy paste reply that you have opted for this service.

        I have made so many complaints with my number [protected] and started dnd also. Still the fraud company is doing fraud with people.

        I will mention the same on social media and will not suggest any one to opt for aircel. They always cheat money with customers.

        I have already ported my one aircel number to airtel. I will switch to airtel with my current number.

        They have deducted 30 rs twice on same day for any service which was activated itself.

        Worst company, worst customer care. Go for airtel

        There are total 3 deduction made of 30 rs each from number [protected].

        Every time balance is deducted from main account with some service activated. If there is any sensible person there in customer care they can check that I have made many similar complaint and had activated DND also.

        This is the way to earn money by Aircel.
        They will always deduct money and after that will never receive your call.

        Event the mail id provided on website does not work. I have mail which were sent to Aircel customer care and you will never get any response on that after a automatic reply of acknowledgment.

        I don't know how such a brand name can cheat with customer.

        My 90 rs are deducted till now. I will not recharge my number now. I would like to port my number to some other service provider.

        This complaint is for others awareness that no one should by Aircel number. They always cheat with some stupid service activated without any confirmation.

        Hi,

        I am really fed up of writing same complaint to Aircel.

        I am reiterating the whole fraud here again.

        Mobile number-[protected]

        1st deduction-30 rs
        2nd deduction-30 rs

        I have filed complaint for this on 30th Jan and inspite of 60 rs 57 rs are reimbursed on 31st Jan. It seems like Aircel with do profit with 3 rs.

        And another 30 rs were reimbursed on 31st Jan for any game service automatically applied. So in total 90 rs are deducted and only 57 are refunded.

        Hence mentioning the complaint again that rest 33 rs are still with Aircel.

        What they have done is they have refunded the money to show their goodwill gesture and again deducted the amount on the same day.Seems like Aircel is earning money this way.

        If any one will read the mail completely, they will get to know the issue but the irony is that there is no sensible customer care person in Aircel.

        It seems like there is no customer care designed for Aircel. All the number mentioned on website will never work.

        Even the number provided on mail signature does not work. How such a brand name can be so irresponsible.

        I have filed the complaint in consumer forum also. Complain I'd is Aircel Complaint Status Update [ID: 1851723]

        Kindly Reimbursement my rest 33 rs.
        Learn from other companies. They earn Customers trust, that is why Airtel satisfaction is very high.

            I am trying to send "port [protected]"
            To "1900" but unable to send due to aircel sever...
            They infact blocked me to call at their customer call centre 121/198..
            I have double checked that i have balance enough to send this message and i have check the message centre no.
            And check by sending message to another no. I am able to send message to any other number but not able to send message to only 1900 number that is to port out from aircel...
            Thats not right they are not obeying trai rules...

              I recently linked my adhar card with aircel phone no.. But there is major problem with the fard.. Whenever i try to grt my otp it says that yourlinked mobile no is invalid.. Though its properly working i hv been using my aircel card for 9 years.. Y is this happening.. I visited aircel store they said it try chsnging sim card.. It maight be due to old sim issue.. Bht still issue is not resolved.. Now i regret linking this no with my adhaar

                    I have recharged my aircel number [protected] with rs. 101. While checking the benefits by dialing *121# there was showing that benefit of recharge is ul loc+std, 100sms, 1gb dly.

                    But now i received only 1gb net no ul call.
                    When trying to contact with customer care they were not giving satisfied answers. The aircel customer service is worst. They are not responding from last 15 days. No resolution has been provided to me.

When i checked vas i came to know that a subscription is made in my number and my relations numbers called"voice contest".. Then i contacted customer care they said we all activated that subscription by ourselves only...

                            Having 2 questions.
                            1. How can we all subscribe the same vas on the same day by mistake of only ourselves.??.

                              I am currently using aircel network but this network has poor quality voice call and data services.in 3g network the speed is always 10-20kbps all time only on night after 1am to 6am the speed is good at 100kbps to 300kbps this is about the data services.in voice call the signal always up downs means during call i am unable to listen the voice correctly and this problem is not with me with everyone here and the main thing is that i am living at a distance of 150meters from the aircel tower still facing this problem.                                         I am trying to port my number ([protected])
                                        I have sent several requests to port my number, but i havent received upc as of yet.
                                        I have been sending requrests on 1900 since 24th of january 2018
                                        I have even messaged aircel on twitter but still there is no reply from their side
                                        They are going to shut down their services in maharastra since 31st of january.
                                        So please do the necessary and provide me the upc via sms or mail only

                                        My mobile no. is [protected]. I got the offer to recharge for Rs. 26 which said I will get 10 TT and 20 p/min LS calls. So I recharged today morning for Rs. 26. I got the SMS that the recharge was successful. But till now I haven't got the 10 TT and I have got the offer of 20 p/min only for 28 days. Please look into this.
