I on behalf of my friend made an online payment to Airtel Digital TV through Vritiinfocom (billdesk) with their reference no 3914241 on 09/09/2011 for a DTH connection at Trivandrum. The payment was claimed by Vritiinfocom on the same day from ICICI Bank vide ID no 456182. But till date (15/09/2011) customer id is not created, nobody in Airtel Digital TV has any explanation, all what they say is "with in 2 hours you will get a phone call" which never happens. I am making three to four calls a days wasting my time and energy.
I am still in dreams about the connection.
Can anyone suggest a way out? How to fix these rogues?
Can any one share the experience?
Please extend valuable help

    SIR, I VISITED THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE AMRITSAR, THE INCHARGE TOLD ME THAT THAY HAVE ALREADY DESPACHED THE DOCUMENTS RELATED TO RESIDENCE PROOF AND PHOTO ID TO THEIR OFFICE AT CHANDIGARH AND ASSURED ME THAT OUTGOING SERVICE WILL BE RESTORED BY TODAY EVENING- BUT TILL THIS 8PM MY SREVICE HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED . I AM SUFFERING WITHOUT ANY FAULT OF MINE.

      Dear Sir,

      This with reference to my prepaid connection [protected] having sim number[protected]H1. I had moved my connection from Vodafone to Airtel using mobile portability on 20/08/2011. I have dully completed the all the required documents required by the Airtel. But I got sms from airtel we have not received your prepaid enrollment form. Kindly submit it at the nearest airtel relationship centre and enjoy continued services like that. After that I submit the all requierd document again to the nearest airtel relationship center. But still my connection is not resumed. My all incoming and outgoing calls has susbended due to this issue. I cant able to make calls around 10 days more. So request you to please look into this matter on urgent basis and resolve the issue as soon as posible.

      This is in connection with my prepaid connection [protected](Kolkata). I have dully furnished all the required documents required by the Airtel to the retailer at Kolkata. I got sms from airtel that the required documents have not been received and my sim service has been deberred by airtel. I am working in Reserve Bank of India and recently been transferred from Hyderabad to Kolkata. I have submitted my RBI photo ID card and Bank's allotment letter in support of my ID proof and address proof respectively to the retailer. Kindly look in to the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest, otherwise I have no option but to opt for some other mobile service. My (alternate) Hyderabad Airtel SIM No.[protected].

        Dear all,

        i am a great fan of Airtel. I have bought my sim 6 months ago. now i have activated hello tune in my number ([protected]) before 4 days... still now, no service is activated but 55 rupees has been charged.. I have called nearly 8 - 10 times but there is no response from any of the customer service representative. so i need the service to be activated as soon as possible. If not possible just refund the amount...

        Airtel-Prepaid — Sudden Deduction from Balance

        Dear Sir,

        I, Baiju having airtel prepaid connection Num : [protected], While my friends calling to my num on night (after 10 PM) my hello has been copied to that nums without pressing the star(*) Button. Several times I informed to customer care in this regard, yet the same problem will happened 3 times.

        On that time we informed to the customer care and they refund the amount for both and previous song activated in one of my friend. On 14th july (approximate) same problem occurred in [protected] number, and also inform to customer care then some executive promised to refund the amount which they deducted for that hallo tone copied without pressing * Button, I wait for that SLA which they said, but I didn’t get proper and genuine replay from that side. Also talk with Mr.Vasudevan (Team Leader) he also not given and spoke without manners. My friend (who having pblm [protected]) got many calls from Airtel Backend people while he is in roaming (on 17, 18th July). If he not a genuine case he wont pick up the calls in roaming. We need the proper response from your side that’s way we talk backend people while we are in roaming and we spend nearly 20 Rs for that calls. I think you check all the call wrap up made in your side and refund the amount to that num who having the complaint and avoid this kind of problem happens again.

        Airtel, Prepaid — sudden balance deduction

        the sim with num [protected] is taken in tamilnadu.we tried to contact airtel cc,chennai several times from maharashtra.the cc num [protected],when i tried to contact,the call was getting disconnected,so we couldnt get clarifications.The problem is: on 23.6.10,the balance got reduced from RS.21 to RS.4.I want to know the reason for the uncertain deduction.since I could not contact airtel cc,i request you to send me a quick rsponse regarding the problem with its solution.

          I Purchased 2 New SIM cards from Airtel Dealer (Gajanan Mobiles) in my city Parola , these Mobile No are 1) [protected] 2)[protected] both numbers are activated & working in any other mobile phones (new) but these airtel sim cards are not working in my nokia 7610 handset (it says insert sim card ) , not only these 2 numbers but also any new sim card available in dealers shop , but when in insert any other company sim card (new or old) these are working properly in my handset even now i am using my old Airtel sim in that same handset (nokia 7610) which is working properly so when i ask my dealer about this problem he suggest me to buy new mobile phone , & when i ask him if these sim cards are not working with my phone then you keep these sim cards & give me back money i will buy any other company sim he refuse to return my money & also not solving my problem , he says we are not responsible if our sim cards are not working with your phone & our responsibility is up to activation of your sim card only , so i call Airtel Customer care to solve my problem they told me go to your dealer he will solve your problem .. now both are suggesting each others names & no one is heaping me .. please help me ...

            hello sir

            As i was applying to new mobile number in airtel i submitted my own photo & id proof but there was a mistake of retailer or subscriber, i don't know they misuse my documents and they allotted an unknowing person documents to my mobile number. i took this number a one & half year ago. i knew this matter for applying MNP. they don't agree to convert and allotted my documents to my mobile number pls send the details of this mobile number to my email account.

            misuse of id and pictures — Misuse of id and pictures

            A bihari boy is making my email ids wih my name Sanchi.[protected]@gmail.com and other ids and using my pictures on orkut and sending friends request to so many people with all incorrect information .Please delete the account.

            i buy a airtel sim no [protected] from airtel dealer happy garg approxemate 7 months past on sat airtel ask me about my no i tell him but he says that this no id is other not which i provide to dealer
            when i ask about from dealer and co mpany custmorecare he do not coprate me when i investigation about that matter i surprised to know how this network cheating cousmors he activate sims before sold to cusstomers which is actived on other ids and he use cusstomers id for many mobile sims and sold other cusstomors without ids on higher price which is very danggerius matter for security also
            plz see this matter i provided to dealer my mother kaushalya devi voter card id and pics

But till date the unique porting code has not been received..

                I didnot use Airtel Broadband service from 25 august 2011 to till date due to the technical problems from airtel department of company.During this we are facing many problem from airtel broadband and loss my business around 1.5 lakh.And if we call or email then no body going to proper response either customer care nor Nodel officer.We all know that airtel is big company but we are not big company like airtel ,we using airtel services which give me losses in my business .This is all responsible airtel software or airtel employee whose comit me that your connection will start exact time an we believe on them.this happend 20 days and all employee comit new time and fail their commit again and again .Finaly i frustrate from airtel service and wrote email as follows .

                I was complain at dated 25 aug 2011 to airtel customer then they said that your
                broadband will start at 1 sep 2011 till 11.30 but could not start that time
                given by you . and then we complain again and we got another complain number
                and time given by you for 13 sep 2011 till 1.27 pm.but till now not start my
                brodband and landline ,and i got bill from airtel from 2 aug 2011 to 1 sep
                2011.what is this?.we are facing problem from your side whenever no dues
                payment from my side i clear all previous dues at time. but today 13 sep 2011 ,
                i wait according your time given by you not working my brodband and landline.
                what is this? i loss in my business day by day through you, and no body to
                going me proper response.This is not a way we all know that airtel is big
                company but this is not a way ,we all not satisfy your such type of
                services.please tell me what is problem actually.

                So Kindly request you that please activate my broadband and landline
                immediatly, so that we work proper our work.

                  I, Dev Shekhar Phone number [protected] of MTNL I applied my before said mobile number for portability in Airtel due to network problem being portability number MD595714 with the help of Airtel Relationship Center GTB Nagar. Sir as per the request of Airtel Relationship Center GTB Nagar (Kingsway Camp) MTNL did complied with all the process and deactivate my service on September 09, 2011, the information regarding the same I have given to Airtel Customer Care Center as well as to the ARC on 10.09.2011 for which the Customer Care Center told your SIM has been activated and for the further problem you consult to your ARC, when I visited the ARC they told me it might take 1 or 2 more days for proper activation but till date even after my repeated request and visit to the Shop it has no result and still my SIM is showing SIM not valid. Now the situation is such that even they are not entertaining my call.

                    It is really very sad for me to fill this form...

                    It has been 28 day my service request is still not update rather it has turned into a complaint and that too is not getting any resolution since last 3 days...and the new date is given....(ha ha ha)

                    I requested the CCR (Airtel DTH) on 15th of August to keep my account in safe mode for 3 months, which never happened and when i reached back to india after 20 days my account balance was negative.....

                    when i called back for the same..i was given a complaint number:[protected]on 11th Sept) and was assured that i would get resolution withing 48 hrs.. which never got resolved..i again called back to them to check the status of my complain and the CCR informed me that i would get the refund by 1.30 pm...

                    so i waited again...well waited upto next day..and called them back as still there was no resolution to my complaint....

                    and gratefully i was informed that they again want to launch service request God knows why and this lady RESHMA told me that i would get the resolution by 3.30 pm...

                    and on calling back again at 3.45 (well as usual complaint was not resolved) i again got connected to RESHMA and she said that i will have to wait till FRIDAY 16th of SEPT for resolution.....and again i received a Service Request number: 11907620

                      My airtel broadband account no. is 16513850.
                      I have recently shifted apartment (within the same sector of noida). I had heard about bad customer service from airtel in transfer of connections, and I was not in a position of getting into all the hassle, so I decided to get my connection disconnected and go for some new one. After struggling for 3 days with the 121 on email and phone calls, I was able to raise a request for disconnection. (They didn't acknowledge disconnection requests on email, and disconnected the calls when u said u wanted to disconnect).
                      After 2 days, I got a call from airtel, convincing me to get the connection transferred. I told them my concern, and the person assured me that the transfer would be completed in 3 days. On this assurance, I agreed to convert my request from disconnection to transfer.
                      Since then, its 7 days already now, and I have not even heard back from them.
                      All my emails and calls are answered with 'your request is being worked upon. we seek your co operation in this regard'. I have insisted that the team should atleast contact me and give me the status if it is getting delayed for some reason, but they have no answers. I am loosing on my critical work, wasting time following up with them, but all in vain. And they will make me bear the bill for all this time they are taking too.

                      Why can't you give correct statuses and stop faking on the customer?

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          My name is Sahana.A.Earappa and I took a Airtel Broadband(Internet) connection in the year 2010 around May 2010. I called the customer care and went in for a cancellation on 13th July 2011 as there was a lot of irregulaties in the bill even though I was not a frequent user. The cancellation number is 511108 and Interaction Number is[protected] and executive name is Nalini. So I got a confirmation that the connection is cancelled.

                          After 2 days I got a call from another Airtel Executive saying that the bill which I had to pay for the month of June 2011 will be waived off as it was within the Rental Limit because of no usage and also asked me to keep the connection till Sep 2011 end and this 3 months i.e from July to Sep 2011 will be waived off too. They also told me that my rental will be waived off from Rs 650pm to Rs 350pm and again on the subsequent monthly bill there will be a discount of 20%. The executive from Airtel asked me to pay only Rs 280 after Sep 2011 month. I was however adament about my cancellation and they asked me to think over it and cut the call.

                          Since I had told them very clearly that I want to go in for cancellation and also got a cancellation number, they never cancelled it and did not send any person to collect the modem.

                          Later almost a month had passed I started receiving calls from the collection guys, I get about 4-5 calls a day and I start explaing the same again and again and told them to take back the connection.

                          Everytime there is a new executive calling and I need to repeat the same answer. They do not maintain a call log.

                          They are threating on the call regarding the payment of Rs1,800 and still have not cancelled my connection. When I explained the same to one of the executive they asked me to make the payment and then they would cancell the connection. They are forcing me to pay Rs1,800.

                          Then 7th of Sept 2011, I got a msg to my Airtel Mobile Number say that "Your service request reference number for the phone number(Internet) is 3655024. That is they have cancelled on my behalf on 7th Sep 2011 from my mobile number itself. I got a self msg from my mobile number itself. Again the message say's that they will get back to me only on 08th of Oct 2011 and they say its a autogenerated message.

                          This is increasing my Internet Bill for no fault of mine even though I am not using it and went for a cancellation in July 2011. Again the bill will increase to Rs1,800 + 650.

                          The company is cheating me and I need justice. Airtel Broadband is cheating me and I am fed up of their harrasment over the telephone and messages. I want someone to take action on this company.

                          Please help me out.

                            Total amt charges going beyond 250

                              Are you guys playing around with my connection in very bill cycle or trying to harass me , This is my STRONG NOTICE to you that please adjust all the FAULTS in ur BILL cycle for last MONTH or else i would need to go to consumer court and highlight this service of brand like AIRTEL to all leading MEDIA as well.

                              The customer care executive just told my plan has changed now to 649...HOW ?

                              You have NOT been able to get my connection activated in now .. all your SLA stands of now use..In addition to you put unnecessary charges on BILL of DSK usage although i had never used as my connection ... Get this resolved ASAP.

                              This is has been most terrible experience with Airtel...........

                              Its more than 10 days when i had written i complaint to your cell and several attempts with appellate and nodal cell BUT action has been taken on my requests , If this would be your attitude , I would have to discontinue with airtel services from immediate affect.

                              Pending issue's :

                              Landline deactivated since 1.5 months - No incoming / outgoing
                              My online account locked - Cannot retrieve password due to this
                              Wrong Bill generation and poor customer complaint handling by CC of airtel
                              Slow speed in broadband in-spite of having TURBO plan
                              Cannot pay BILL online due to all of this

                              Some more service requests num in meanwhile :
                              2824712 - SLA 8 hrs . No call , no update ...
                              I got a call to submit some documentation to activate my connection , I would like to know why my connection was deactivated ?

                              My Srikanth one of the CC executives disconnected the call in between after making me hold for more than 1 hr...
                              Similar attempts with other CC executives...

                              If i would NOT get any revert from your side within 24 Hr's , I would visit the gurgaon Branch in person and escalate this to higher authorities and inform to leading media channels about my grievance and related issue's............

                              This has been an terrible experience with airtel in first 2 months of service .

                              First Complaint on17th August - already one month since disconnection

                              Hello Grievance Addressal cell ,

                              I would like to bring to your Notice my terrible experience with Airtel Customer service within 1 month o[censored]sing Airtel services.

                              I got my Airtel connection activated on 1st of July'11 and had paid advance fee of Rs 500 at the time of installation , After the first bill was generated on 17th July ' 11 which was in -ve as the bill cycle was from 11th of each month my landline connection is deactivated , Since last close to 1 month i have been calling up the customer care and raising complaints for the same But every time they raise a new complaint ID and say NO previous complaint can be found , This is simply NOT acceptable and NOT accepted from organisation like Airtel .

                              In my last attempt today again i recieved the same excuse the that there NO complaints against my account num and new request is NOT possible not due to system issues.

                              My request would be to kindly take up this issue on URGENT basis and get my connection up and running ASAP , also i have today received bill BUT i donot understand how the bill got generated if the connection was deactivated.

                              2nd Issue :
                              I have a Turbo plan - 1199 ( 4mbps ) But since day 1 i have not got speed more than 2 MPBS , i would request you kindly look into this and if such speed is NOT possible in my area kindly let me know , as why i should pay extra if those speed are NOT possible in my area.

                                I have an Airtel broadband connection (Ph No: [protected]) with a 2 mbps Unlimited plan for which I pay Rs1699 per month + taxes (Rs.1874 with taxes every month).

                                I received an email from Airtel on 22nd August stating that I have used 80% of my broadband usage limit of 102400 MB and my speed would be reduced if I reach 100%. I had not reached this limit at that time and the details on this email were incorrect. The email also mentioned subscribing to their "Speed on Demand" to get required speeds for the remaining billing cycle.

                                I received another email from Airtel on 11th September stating that I have used 80% of my data transfer limit of 20480 MB. Finally, on 14th September, i received an email stating that I have used 100% of my data transfer limit of 20480 MB and my broadband speed was reduced to 256 kbps from 2 mbps. Both the emails asked me to subscribe to their "Speed on Demand" to get required speeds for the remaining billing cycle.

                                I dont understand how my data transfer limit reduced by 80% (from 100GB to 20GB) in matter of a month and both the times the information provided by them on my usage was incorrect. I have raised a complaint with Airtel (Complaint No.: 4000320) on 14th September to get this corrected and I hope it does.

                                Airtel broadband has been coercing their customers (I have several friends who have received similar emails with incorrect data) by such illicit methods to subscribe to their speed on demand pack to probably increase their revenues. This is highly unacceptable and I hope something gets done about it.

                                Airtel Broadband — Airtel reduced speed

                                Got a mail from Airtel . Pay 100 Rs extra and get 2mbps as speed.But the very next day speed reduced to 256kbps and then to 1mbps

                                airtel broadband 499 plan — reducing speed

                                i took airtel broadband connection with internet plan of rs. 499 which gives unlimited internet service.but after certain downloadings its speed automatically reduces till the next billing cycle.why is it so?the person who installed it didnt tell any such conditions on speed.i am planning to sue them.

                                AirTel — reduced speed

                                i ve airtel broadband plan of rs 499.its been more thn 2 yrs.few mnths back i started getting the speed lowered after some downloads.airtel customer care says tht there is a cnditn tht its speed will reduce after u cross some download limit but no such condition was mentiond in d writtn agreemnt whn i took the connction.even they dnt hve a wrttn agreemnt on tht.ths ws jst nt expectd from airtel.

SINCE TWO WEEKS I AM TRYING TO APPROACH CUSTOMER CARE AT JABALPUR BUT I COULD NOT REACH OR FIND ANY ALTERNATE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM. THERE IS A DRASTIC CUT IN THE SPEED AS I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN ANY SITE ON THE INTERNET. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR FIVE TO TEN MINUTES BEFORE THE SITE IS AVAILABLE. THESE AIRTEL PEOPLE THINK LET THE CUSTOMER SUFFER. I AM HOPING TO SWAP MY INTERNET CONNECTION WITH BSNL AND AVAIL 20 PERCENT DISCOUNT OF THE BILLING BEING A CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE. HOPE THIS MESSAGE REACHES THE DEAF EARS AT AIRTEL. MY BILL DATE IS 16 TH OF EVERY MONTH I WILL WAIT FOR ANOTHER WEEK BEFORE I AM FORCED TO CHANGE THE CONNECTION.

                                  I was having my Airtel Prepaid mobile connection (no. [protected]).I was approached on phone to get my service converted to post paid.I got convinced and accepted the proposal.
                                  On 30/08/2011, marketing executive with the name Subodh took documents and Rs.300/ on behalf of Impression Marketing (in collaboration with Airtel) under 99/ rental scheme.He promised that I shall get a new post paid sim card within 48 hours.
                                  Unfortunately, after repeated reminders, I was delivered the card AFTER 13 DAYS!(today, afternoon).It proved fatal for a self-employed person like me and I lost a very important assignment.
                                  More significantly, even after inserting the new sim card, it is being displayed INVALID SIM.While, on the other hand, ring was going on my number ([protected]) when I made a call from some other mobile number.Even someone picked up the phone but did not reply.Then, it was disconnected.My major concern is that my number might be being misused by some ANTI SOCIAL/ NATIONAL ELEMENT.I have communicated my apprehension to the Marketing Senior Executive of Impression Marketing, Mr.Sahil(mob.[protected]) through sms from a reliance number([protected]).
                                  I request you to kindly look into the matter at earliest.

I never use 3G and i have no need. i requested but they are not transferring this credit to regular talk time.conversation attached:--

                                    This again proves that u are a big cheater and harass customer on their mistakes not due to lake of knowledge but due to hidden policies to sell your new products, which is a malpractice.
                                    I am sending this to my lawyer for necessary action, meanwhile let me know the process to switch this number to other service provider with the same numbers, i have total 10 numbers in my circle, to be switchover.
                                    I want to remove airtel from my dictionary.

                                      I purchased Airtel sim card 3 days ago. I needed 3G services for internet access so I activated 3G services on my cell.My 3G services were started but still when I was trying to access the internet it was getting connected through only 2G/edge network.So I called their customer care and technical Staff they told me that "Airtel dont have 3G network of thier own in Pune,so they share Vodafon/Idea network for 3G" that's why my cell could not remain connected through 3G continuously.The network gets switching over between 2G and 3G.
                                      now I have to again change my number that is a big head-ache.

                                        I was aware that if a customer doesnt use the phone for more than 3 months the number gets disconnected permanantly, so i bought a dual sim phone so that i can use my old airtel number as well as the new vodafone number, so my airtel number was connected to the network even if i wasnt making or reciving calls, but i used to receive msgs on airtel number, I even had enough balance on it, on top of that i converted my number into lifetime prepaid number, I did not receive any call from airtel to inform me that they are disconnecting my number or dint even sent me any sms and deleted my number, I went to the airtel gallery which is 14 KMS away from my place to know that i cant get my number back since it has got deleted and it will take more than 15 days to know which dealer has got this number for resale, and i was also told that i will have to shell out money to get my own number back .... WOW !!! pay for getting ur own number back when you are not at fault, wonderful policy !!!
