Dear Sir,
I was using the number ([protected]-Aircel) before MNP, but one month before i was received a call from airtel for MNP they offering me a plan 299 montly rental with below Packages and I changed my no -[protected] by MNP in Airtel.
1. 1100 mins local free to any mobile (Call rate 30 paisa per min)
2. 60 Sms per month.
3. Call conferece (Free of cost)
4. 200 Min STD per month to any mobile.
while I was received a welcome call from Airtel they never explain about my bill plan due Server down. While I called on 19 Feb 2011 to 198 (Ref No:-F[protected] for my billing plan they asking me bill 299 is not activated on my own no. after enquiry they activate this plan and given the 8 Rs. waiver for my free calls. but they not giving me call conference(Free of cost) and 200 Min STD per month as per commitment. This is a fake commitment to customer however customer believe on Airtel service. When I was called 198 again they told me send a e-mail on [protected]@airtelindia.com regading complaint. I was continued writing mails on this id but they were given no positive response after long conversation, then they suggest me call to appellate , I talked with Mr. Deepak Appellate person([protected]), I was discussed with him regarding my complaint then he suggest wirte a mail to appellate.[protected]@airtel.in. he told me we will update the status of my complaint in 3 days. bu till date no status was updating from their end. But today while i called again to appellate person, my call was connected with 3 Persons:
1. Anju: - she put to hold my call for long time not revert me.
2. Sanchita: she also put to hold my called for long time and then she answered server is down.
3. Third name I was forget because she disconnet my call.
This is very serious issue, Telecom operators giving the fake commitment to customers for MNP and bond their nos. for 3 months.
I hope you take some neccessary steps, I am waiting for your good response.
Thanks & Regards
Jitender Kumar

Complaint marked as Resolved
Airtel — WRONG BILLING AND NO ITEMIZED BILL
Sir,I am using the no# 98100144**... I am currently using 495 top of the plan. I have 30paisa calling and 1 R SMS rate
What surprises me is that though I have high usages of talk time, my SMS rate has been increasing ever since 5 to 6 months
I have a monthly subscription of itemized billing – rental paid every month 50 Rs
And guess what, I only get the call rate notification and nothing regarding the smses... When asked, I have been told that Airtel doesn’t provide this facility...
And when I persist, they send me the same by courier and promise me that in future I will receive the itemized bill in full (call rate as well as smses). But that was only for one month .
Funnily I am also being deducted money for the so called value added services for Airtel live –and the rep on call insist that I have subscribed to it and they insist that I have used this service no matter how much I plead innocent... They literally obtrude their policy rules and insist on something that you as a customer have not used.
The icing on the cake is your conversation with the team leader who repeats the same as the rep on the call only that it seems that he hasn’t taken or reviewed his customer relational skills.
The action to the reaction is that it makes my head boil!
Logic says to me that why will use 432 RS on SMS every month when I have a 30paisa calling?
And if I want to cross check then why is it that I am not allowed to receive the SMSES data
(Every other subscriber gives you full details – there’s no concept of policy stating that SMSES data cannot be sent)
And yes, I only want the hard copy by mail and I am strictly against checking the details on net. Sorry if that hampers Airtel saving paper policy! (I am poor I don’t have net at home and don’t have the access to It anywhere else)
Rest of the details is attached.
I don’t think that I have to say anything after you hear the recording!
SORRY DONT HAVE THE OPTION OF ATTACHING THE FILE!
