excess payment

Address: Khordha, Odisha

Dear Sir, I had purchased 4 strips of 10 each STATIX-40 tablet from Apollo Pharmacy, Neeladri Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on 06/02/2014. The price in the stripe is Rs.215.00 for three stripes(Batch no:BPDP13014) and Rs.236.00 for one strip(Batch no:BPDP13031).But, they gave me one manual bill for Rs.236.00 for each strip mentioning batch no:BPDP13031.When I insisted for computerised bill, they told that computer prices are erroneously...

    Inept staff and rude behaviour

    Address: New Delhi, Delhi

We usually order medicines from various Chemists, in and around our residential society. One of the names, that comes into prominence is Apollo Pharmacy. They have a good system of registering a consumer using cards, and thus the customer can order medicines based on the card. This also ensures a discount of about 10% on the medicines which gets accumulated over time and can be redeemed as and when required. But, it seems that the franchise...

I always buy medicines from apollo pharmacy. But this time I found the tablet esiflo 100 mg box seal open. When I told this to the pharmacy he was rude and refused to take it back. Not just that he made me wait for the bill that he was suppose to give me for very long time. I am a very careful person and don't want my health problems to increase due to contaminated medicine. He individual who seems to the head there thinks he is some supreme being and was very harsh.
action has to be taken against such people

Dear Team, Today at around PM, i went to Apollo Pharmacy Store ( Nehru Nagar Outlet) to purchase DIAMOX mg. The person charged 78 Rs for the same when the same medicine in other medical shops costs 36 Rs. The person denied to give any bill. Also when i said the medicine cost 36 Rs then he took back the medicine saying the medicine is not available in the shop. When i told i would complain for the same then he agreed for the medicine but at 78 Rs. First, Medical Shop can never refuse for any valid medicine with valid doctor's prescription when the stock is available. Second, they can not sell at price more than the double the other medical shop's price. Thirdly, They can not refuse to give bill. The person's name is Pramod and one more person who was sitting in cash.

          Seal Opened in Otrivin

          Address: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

I bought a new Otrivin Nasal Spray from Apollo Pharmacy in Ahmedabad. It was at night around 11 PM. The shop was about to close. When I returned to my room I found the seal to be open. The pharmacist initially handed me Otrivin and the he gave me another one and asked me to buy it, So when I returned home I found the seal to be open. As a consumer I find it that the pharmacist did it on purpose which I didn't expect from a pharmacy like...

            Dear Sir/Madam,
As you will appreciate that most people who ever visit a pharmacy do it as they are experiencing an unfavorable health condition and as such are already under pain, discomfort both physical and emotional.
While Apollo pharmacies with its numerous branches is aiming at providing quick medicines, it is forgetting the basic premise that most people who come are patients or relatives/friends of them.
Personally, I have experienced your staff's extremely rude and uncharacteristically arrogant behavior. Once it happened with another patient buying medicines along side me, and twice with me.
What is extremely funny, perhaps, is that at a pharmacy the problems are not because o[censored]navailability of medicines, it is because of a seemingly small problem as providing change for the money rendered.
They absolutely refuse to give change (claim they don't have change even when i pointed to them that their cash register was full of Rs. 10 notes), and are very rude about it.

            Sirs,
For a person who is already sick and is looking to reduce his/her pain, or for an old lady (as the person alongside me was), where will they go looking for change? Is it fair for you to be so rude about it? They non-nonchalantly told the old lady to arrange money herself (this was at your pharmacy attached to Apollo Hospital).
For me personally: When I requested them to go get some change as I said I would wait, they said to me "it is not our work to get change". I said as a girl, I have come alone and where will i go look for change (it was 9 pm), I requested them again politely to arrange some. He just got more rude about it and said it wasnt his problem.

Like I said, its a seemingly small problem, but your staff makes it an extremely a humiliating experience.
I run a small business too and I know change can be a problem, but I do not EVER remember telling a customer to arrange the change himself/herself. As a business organization, it is mandatory for YOU to keep loose change.

I dont know if anyone reads these forums or if any action is ever taken, but I hope some customer service training is instilled.

            Regards,

I used to purchase medicine from Apollo Pharmacy regularly. Whatever may be the amount each time they forced me purchase other item each and every time to round up the amount. As today I purchased some medicines for my self which amounted to Rs 25/-. The staff of the pharmacy forced me to pay exact amount or to take any useless item of Rs: 5/-. Even I saw that they have change in their counter. They replied me it is not possible for them to give change of Rs:5/- for such small amount of purchase. I am a asthmatic patient. I went out of the store. Got a change of Rs:5/- form other shop. Then returned to Apollo Pharmacy to complete my purchase. My point is even I saw they have got coin change in their counter still they refused to help me.

The staff of 'Apollo Pharmacy' always behave rudely. Every time I visit the pharmacy and I ask them to give the listed medicine, they take so long to respond. When I try to ask them to respond quickly they just raise their voice and so carelessly ask me to wait if I want to or leave. They behave so bad we dont feel like walking into one.
Similar incidents have happened with my DAD is well where they were not ready to give him the discounts. On one incident they gave 20 tablets of (MiniPress XL 2.5mg) and did the billing for 30 tablets. When went back and enquired, they said its a mistake and gave 10 tablets instead of the money as they said the billing was already done. On another occasion they asked my dad to pay Rs.20 extra, citing there was a previous pending amount from our side although there was none.
The rudeness is such that they raise there voice so high and warn us to keep quiet or even get out of their premises. Please let us know if something can be done against this.

I visited your Pharma shop at No.1, Omkar nagar, Mico layout road, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore 560076 on 6th October to buy some medicines. the salesman could not give me all the medicines I wanted and wrote down in his register my address and contact number promising that he will deliver the balance medicines either the same evening or latest next day. Having not received the medicines, I called up his number[protected] and there was a different person. He took considerable time to understand my requirement and found out my requirements and my address. I told him that a reminder from me was unnecessary when your man had committed to bring the medicines and that I wanted the medicines very urgently today before noon. He has not responded.
When I purchased the medicines on 6th October, I had offered my credit card. The card reading machine appeared to be faulty and he swiped the card more than once. I had to give him two more cards which I had. When one of the attempts acknowledged the swipe, I signed the bill for Rs. 555.00. I bought one more item HORLIKS LITE. He said that the item is not in the system list and he gave me a hand written bill no. 5269 for Rs. 190.00. I gave my credit cards and he made several attempts and when every attempt failed I gave him cash.
On returning home I received 8 SMS messages on mobile for all the attempts made. The total amount debited was Rs. 2060.00 as against Rs. 555.00. The details are Rs.555.00 three times, Rs. 190.00 five times. I rang up the shop and told him that he has overcharged and I want the refund. He said, there cannot be any overcharge and that he will send me a copy of the total transactions of my card through this machine next day morning along with medicines. He has not kept his word.
I am very much inconvenienced by your sales man and I consider it as a deficiency in service besides overcharging. I want a fair settlement immediately. IF I DO NOT GET ANY SETTLEMENT IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS, I WILL GO PUBLIC WITH MY COMPLIANT ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER.

After i opened the packet of medicine, found blood stained tablet inside it. Medicine is not expired as per date mentioned but due to improper handling by apollo, medicine got contaminated. I kept the sample and filed complaint, could have caused sever issues.

Went to report it to the pharmacy, they did not even care to listen and kept attending other customers. Apollo has no provison to accept complaints in written. Finally pharmacy staff just asked me to dial helpline number of apollo.

Helpline of apollo was even pathetic, there was lot of background noise, like someone taking call from roadside, person just listened and did not provide any complaint number or reference number for call.

Guys, its not about money but someone could have sufferrred, and you do not even care to register a complaint .There could have been issue with manufacturing of medicine, can't you just help your customer report the same to original manufacturer???

                        hi
this is Divya. i want to register complaint against the staff members working at Apollo pharmacy- no-4 ,plot no. 1 , road no. 5 , east Punjabi Bagh Delhi-110026.
The staff don't give bill after purchase of medicines and on asking for it behave rudely with women using abusive language especially
the fat guy ( don't know his name) . It seems to me he has got no respect for women. I am a regular customer of Apollo Pharmacies and now I will think twice before going there and purchasing medicines. Apollo guys try and keep respectful staff members otherwise you will loose on good number of clients. And i believe I am not the only person complaining about the rude behaviour of staff it can be seen in earlier posts as well.
I totally disagree with you in lieu of the behaviour of the staff at Apollo Pharmacy, East Punjabi Bagh. I have been purchasing medice aines on regular basis from that shop and thttitude of the staff is really appreciable. I do not know what happened in your case, but I have never experienced such a behaviour. Instead, I will appreciate their customer service and wish that they continue the same work.

appolo pharmacy gave me a folvite . Thank God , I didnt take medicine when I came home, when I saw the medicine it was folvite and not doxinate, when questioned to this pharmacy useless guys, they said they did not give and by mistake they might have given. They also didnt give me a bill because it was just 1 item. so now they are denying that they didnt give. becareful about this pharmacy , check the medicine , expiriy date etc. Finally he returned back the money .Make sure you take a bill even if its a small thing or small amount.Insist on bill. god knows for how many people they gave wrong medicine and how many people might have suffered as a result of wrong medicines. I will never advise anyone to go to this location pharamacy. BEcareful people .....they are rude, and give wrong medicines.Kindly take an action that they wont repeat these mistakes and harm people with rong medicines.

                          Thanks

That was a very casual behaviour by the shop guy, This shouldnt happen. Action should be taken after proper investigation, It is just not a matter of money; There were 2 lives involve in it.

This is really not happening & not acceptable at all.
