On 8-sep-2018, one my colleague received an abusive call from a person name "sandeep sharma" and he was asking for me. He didn't mention any details about him and abused her on the call.
When i called him on the number which my colleague gave me on 8-sep-2018, then he started abusing me on the call and mentioned that he is the manager in axis bank collections department janak puri new delhi branch. He was highly abusive, he threatened me that he will spoil my life and he will call at my workplace and also to my relatives to spoil my life and image. He said that he will make my life hell. When, i told him that this call is being recorded, he said he is not afraid of anyone and i can take any action. I am feeling very unsafe, because my security has been compromised by axis bank. His name is sandeep sharma and he is calling from phone number +91-[protected] and +91-[protected].
I tried discussing about the credit card settlement procedure during the conversation and how this matter can be closed as i have dues for about 80-90 thousand rupees with axis bank and i am ready to make payment from next month onwards. I told him that i could not make any payment in last 1.5 year because i was job less for more than a year. Instead, of providing any guidance, he started abusing more and he said that he knows how to handle people like me. The kind of language he was using on the call was unacceptable. I requested him to be polite or if i can speak to his senior or someone else who is more professional so that i can discuss about the settlement, but he did not listen to my request.
Moreover, he mentioned on the call, that he called me earlier with a fake identity as a courier boy and asked for my address and as i denied to share my address to courier boy, so he got upset with me. It was really fishing/spam that a courier boy is asking my address and that’s why i didn’t share any details and disconnected the call. He never mentioned at that time as well that he was from axis bank, otherwise i would have shared the details with him. He has a perception that i am running away from the bank, however i am running away from fishing/spam calls and not from bank.
As i was not able to get any proper response from him on the settlement and due to his abusive, unprofessional and threatening behavior, i logged a complaint on women helpline 1090 on the same day 8-sep-2018 as i was very much scared with his behavior, abusive language and threatens. Complaint number is 2018/c/249914.
For next few days, i didn't receive any call from axis bank representatives.
Today (14-sep-2018), sandeep sharma called me again and said that he is going to send me the credit card statement and wanted me to verify my email id which is already in the bank records. When i said that why do you want me to verify my email id as i believe it’s already there in bank records, he said see what i do with you now and he disconnected the call. He said that i have so much attitude and he is going to spoil my life completely.
Just after few mins, he made abusive calls at my office reception, to many of my office colleagues and abused everyone badly. He spoiled my image in the office. No one has rights to interfere with my privacy and my office has nothing to do with credit card payment. This is unacceptable. He has harassed and threatened me to the core and he wants to spoil my life. He said that he is not afraid of anyone and i can go and complain anywhere about him.
After that i asked my mom to call him and sort out the matter as i was very disturbed, then he abused my mom and used unprofessional and vulgar language. He said that he will make me sleep with multiple men and what not. This torture is unbearable and unacceptable. My life is in danger and i need help asap. He told my mom that he will spoil my life and he will come to my office and create a scene over there on monday. I am really worried with this man and his intentions. I am not able to understand that is this the way bank trains the collection agents and this is how they are supposed to talk to a customer moreover a girl who is anyways ready to make the payment.
After listening to his threatens, abusive language and unprofessional behavior, i have registered another complaint in bisrakh thana, greater noida west today and the complaint number is 403.
I am feeling very unsafe and my life security has been compromised by axis bank. I have also called axis bank customer service and spoke to kranti in customer care team and logged a complaint 44822635.
If anything happens to me because of your representative sandeep sharma and then axis bank is responsible for it. Please take an action against this.
My credit card number ends with 5930 and i don't have the complete card number as the card was lost a long ago.
